When Dagon arrived not too long ago his fellowship had built a place of worship to swear fealty and sacrifice to their leader. While Dagon cared little initially he found that the building did present an opportunity. Within a moon's turn he had converted the large circular structure into the hub of his operation. Initially the building was donut shaped with a large portion of the center cut out where most of Dagon's followers met.

When Dagon took over he filled in the center to create an inner sanctum for his fraccions and him. The middle potion which housed many of his followers had been converted to work labs to monitor the dimensional space between world and take care of any paperwork that might be created from the customs office. A new layer was added to the outside which transformed the garish looking infrastructure into a twinkling diamond in an otherwise bland desert.

The outside layer consisted of hotels and many lavish store fronts that were built to accommodate the more human guests who were used to comfort. This area was where most of the embassies did their business and dignitaries stayed during their time in Las Noches. Closer to the middle layer laid more private accommodations away from the noise and bustle of the outer layer for those who wanted more of a private setting. The inner sanctum was also sealed with no way into it through conventional means. Instead a special energy signature unique to Dagon or his fraccions was used to activate gates through out the building that were used to fast travel around the cathedral. While anyone could use them to get around, only Dagon et al. had access to the inner sanctum.

The Twilight Cathedral stood as a testament to Dagon's authority and exists as the nexus of his business. Nothing here goes unnoticed under his watchful eye.

Saraiyu yawned a bit as she headed through a garganta to meet with Dagon. One of the newest Espada, the Corona was a bit... Wary was a good word for it. His followers were obnoxious, and she had taken to calling it a He just because it annoyed her. However loyal it seemed, she didn't quite trust it yet. Why would it have come to her of its own accord? Hollows generally didn't gather up like that unless there was great power pulling them there.

Oh, she was powerful and strong no doubt about it. But she wasn't arrogant enough to assume one as strong as this would come to her without being leashed. She headed for an area where she sensed the greatest strength, looking to speak with it a bit frankly.

A rather bored looking attendant who had more interest in a magazine she was reading then the guests when was suppose to be welcoming said, "Hi, Welcome to the Twilight Cathedral." she didn't even look up until the Corona had begun to walk past. The shock of this made her fall back on her chair before picking herself up. She followed after behind until she was stopped abruptly by one of Dagon's fraccions.

"I'll take it from here, and next time please try not to embaress yourself. Show some respect and class" The fraccion then turned to Saraiyu.

"Ah my queen. Dagon said you would be coming. If you would just follow me I'll escort you to the inner sanctum."

Saraiyu had barely payed attention to the hollow manning the entrance, not really caring one way or the other whether she was welcomed or not. However, she couldn't resist a chuckle as the girl got berated. "So little activity here that she has time to be lax? Show me the way then."

Her teal hair in its elaborate styles once again, Sarai wore her uniform as usual but otherwise used no extra effort in her appearance. This was just a welcoming visit, not a huge official one, and also was a way to learn a bit more about what Dagon hoped to accomplish.

"She is merely a liaison. One of hundreds and if it is any consolation... she probably won't be working here for much longer." The fraccion replied as they walked toward a small keypad that seemed to be rather misplaced amongst everything else. He punches in a code and a portal opens up on the ground.

"Be careful, the first step can be a doozy" He says as he ushered the Corona into the portal. The teleportation process was simple enough. As soon as their whole body was within the portal's bounds they appeared in room with a large golden double door with precious gemstones embedded into it. Almost on cue they slide open revealing a beautiful meadow with a small house in the center and a cobblestone road leading to it. Birds can be heard chirping and even a strange breeze seems to be emanating from the eastern part of the wall that surrounded the area. The very definition of serene.

"Welcome my Queen to the Inner Sanctum" The fraccion says as he leads her to the steps of the small house. A moment later the door opens revealing Dagon sitting at a small wooden table that couldn't possibly sit more then six people doing what looks like paperwork. He motions for them to enter.

"I am merely curious." Saraiyu kept looking around, watching with careful eyes the whole time. She took in the sights and layout of place and didn't even hesitate to step into the portal. A slight disorientation faded as they arrived in front of a large golden set of doors filled with gemstones. Resisting the urge to smirk, she walked up through the soothing area that reminded her of Sofie's sanctuary. Saraiyu kept quiet for the most part, not really wanting to speak with a lackey or make small talk as she examined the area and house.

As the doors opened, Sarai made her way inside without waiting for his motions and peered at the table and the paperwork. She pulled up a chair on the opposite side from the odd arrancar and leaned back. "Well, I see you've made yourself right at home Dagon. How is reorganizing and dealing with the Gargantas coming along now?"

Dagon placed the pen down and removed his hood revealing the emotionless mask that took up most of his face. An almost inaudible noise escaped his lips before settling down. What strange sounds came next was a jumble of voices; coherent but varied widely from old crones to young men in the prime of life.

"My followers are quite numerous and many of them spread out amongst the sand. I am having them construct towers that act as monitoring beacons for all inter-dimensional travel in all of hueco mundo-- not just gargantuas, besides it is what will be coming out and leaving through them that concerns me. I feel a change in the wind coming. Best be prepared.

As for the ones that are here, I have restructured them into customs officials and liasons for foreign dignitaries. Speaking of which I believe there are a few self-stylized hollow kings and lords to request an audience. Some, I believe, fancy themselves your suitor." The sound that followed could only loosely be described as laughter.

"Most of us are antsy right now anyways, but things are starting to look a bit more interesting. Its boring ruling when nothing happens, maybe I've done too good of a job making things more stable." Saraiyu pulled at her nose chain, making the bells jingle a bit. She was getting used to the multi voice thing, and to be honest it was something she needed to get accustomed. "At least you are useful, even if I don't understand your motives fully for joining. Some of your people are still rather indifferent, treating this more of an equal merger than what it was."

Her eyebrow raised in more than a bit of a question, though the next bit of information made her grimace.

"The last time I took a someone to be my consort was about five thousand years ago. I don't even recall if I was in the Espada at that time, it really is annoying that they think they could be the 'one' to get me to give in. If you have a way of getting rid of them without causing a huge fuss, I can leave off sending in someone to deal with them in a more permanent way." Sarai rubbed her forehead in a way that suggested it was a pain in the head to deal with them. "Just because of my form and mannerisms they think I am similar to a human female. You are lucky Dagon."

"Most would be kings are of no threat to any Espada much less any of numeros. If they were to combine their power they could be a serious threat but so many loathe the idea of cooperating with each other that they are mere annoyances. Mere moths flittering around the light of The Espada. It is best to keep them close by as we slowly extend our reach further into The Gloom then have them nipping at our flanks like parasites. There are great threats that lurk in the shadows that have not been stirred in thousands of years, primordial spirits that are almost as old as the world itself if the legends are to be believed. From time to time one of these kings, lords or other more opportunistic hollows extend their borders too far into their territory. The lucky ones watch as their vassals are swallowed into the abyss. The unlucky ones join them." Dagon says this bit of diatribe in perhaps his most contemplative tone. While it was information that was unasked it did speak volumes about Dagon's greater concerns.

"I do apologize for my followers. Although I have never made a claim to their ownership, many would sooner die then leave my service. Their zeal tends to make them very useful albeit the most willfully disobedient. But these, my true servants, are in a minority. Most others follow me for the same reason as they follow any other hollow... because I'm strong. Those of the former type will follow you out of reverence to me and the latter type will come to follow you because you are stronger." Dagon pauses for a moment to consider her last comment.

"Lucky? Most who see me are repelled by my form alone, those who aren't are repelled by my power and the lucky others either see me as their God, or a force of nature. That last one might not be too far from the truth. Although those with small minds can no more comprehend my nature anymore then an ant can comprehend the falcon. This leads to fear and fear leads to hatred. I might have the respect of other subordinates but I will never have their desire or lust or even envy." Dagon stands and begins to pace about the room as if looking for something. He settles on the fireplace and a tentacle appears from under the cloak to grab a few logs before lighting it to create a fire.

"I must admit that I was almost taken aback when you accepted the proposition of my fealty. The Espada has had no love for me and my followers. At best they considered us an annoyance and worst a possible threat. Even a few have gone so bold to lash out and attack settlements founded by my followers. Not that all of it was undeserved, not all my followers would heed my whispers any more then a child would listen to a parent. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink" He clarifies the position before sitting down.

Considering the times the Espada have had attempted take overs by hollows like Dagon was talking about, strong ones with huge followings. Even considering how many times Saraiyu herself had had to put those down... She was more than pleased to have this new Espada handling things now. Her eye was still on these matters as she saw how he handled things, but having a 'neutral' go between was turning out much better than expected. His worries though seemed a bit out there, weird beings far beyond their imaginings? Saraiyu would take them into consideration at the least, she was nothing if not slightly particular about threats. It wasn't as if it was too hard to imagine, and Dagon did seem to have experience with them...

"You seem to have a good handle on these aspects and so far no major issues have developed from your way of handling... I might be able to trust you more if you keep up your work. For now your autonomy is all but assured." Speaking up, she kept her eyes on Dagon as she waited to see how he'd handle her words. However his about followers did remind her of her early days and she chuckled. "I used to have a following myself, long long ago. Maybe you could call the Espada that, but I wouldn't. They follow my orders and station to not die and get more power themselves. Its not the same as then, my influence is so much more than it was then and not just for my abilities. I don't really care if you mind or not about your followers, but if they admire strength then they shall admire when I start tossing their heads from the top of my tower."

Letting him speak about the luck, Sarai had to give him that. "We are all monsters, just my packaging is closer to that of what they used to have. I prefer when people think of me as a force of nature or hate me, it makes negotiations that much easier and easier to predict. Lust is unpredictable when left unchecked. I still use it, but it complicates more than it helps." The tentacle interested the Corona, but she kept seated and let him start the fire. She was comfortable where she was.

"I don't take insubordination well, which may be why my followers listen for the most part. Most of mine love me due to my powers, but still wish to keep their brains intact. There are worse things than death and they have seen them." Saraiyu's voice went from its usual melodic and playful to one of just utter command in a second. "As for why I let you join? I won't lie or mislead you, I need your power and influence. I think you'll be loyal enough I can let you handle things such as this and I know I can kill you if you even think to try and become a traitor. Its better to have you here under my thumb than out there planning."

"I must admit the feelings of love are intriguing as those who hate me. Both are powerful motivators although for different reasons. It is better for your followers to both fear and love you as Machiavelli once wrote. Hatred is a dangerous thing though. It tends to make others... unpredictable" Dagon muses to himself over this as if reminiscing something in a past life or lives for that matter.

"Pay no mind to these suitors. Those who may have some legitimate claim I'll send to you, those who don't will never get past this citadel" he then pauses for a moment. "And so far no one has any sense of legitimacy." He pauses again then finishes with "and I don't plan on any of them gaining any"

Dagon's mind raced and reached and pulled thoughts differently then others. Most would probably see it a micro-democracy inside one individual. The more voices spoke in unison the stronger the drive for Dagon to say them and right now the voices ebbed on the curious side although cautiously as if every step might be dangerous.. "I don't think I can say that I've ever planned anything until I first felt you and that was quite some time before we met. I've been watching you for awhile now. It's been so long that I don't even know when it was but I felt that the future of this world would be intertwined with yours. For the first time, my concern was not with myself. Now that I have given you a hint into why I joined, tell me then, why do you seek the strength of others? I could count on your hands how many there are with your level of power and none would dare seek you out as long as you didn't threaten them."

She gave a shrug, twirling a lock of long teal hair. "I find hatred more predictable than love. Love can go either way in my experience. With hate they won't help you without it benefiting them or hurting you later. You know to not trust anything they say or do will help you, so you are wary. Love, however, can force them to do things in your name, for you, that they think you would like or condone. Anything really as long as they can justify it in their head. Love and obsession don't differ that much."

Sarai started laughing then, amused at Dagon's words about suitors. She really hadn't laughed liked this in a while. "I don't even understand them sometimes. Legitimate? What does that even mean in the context of this world? Are we some feeble human or Shinigami culture to rely on rules such as they about marriage or wishing for such urges? We make more of ourselves through other means, so what kind of legitimacy do they think they could grab towards my throne?"

"So you've been watching me from the shadows then? I suppose I wouldn't do any less... However your question of why I gather others is rather long and complicated." Sarai stretched her body before settling back in the chair, having noticed the change in voices and getting stiff. "I suppose you could say... I don't want to die. I don't want this world to be overrun or destroyed by short sighted fools. If I can keep hold of them with my power in any way I can, so they don't destroy the world or so they can help me keep it together... Then I shall gather them and use others like you for that purpose. Does that answer suffice?"

"Oh legitimacy can come in all sort of flavors. Some think it's a birth right. Some think its because they have a lot of land under their control. Some think that their strength made them a worthwhile choice. Some just think their raw sexuality would be enough to tame you... although they would never say that to our face. I guess in some ways we are no different then any other manner of man or beast so I do not fault them for their attempt. I fault them for their audacity . Even a beast knows when to heel. I keep them around for a time, trying to diplomatically tell them no. Some will stay in these halls for a brief spell before losing hope and leaving on their own accord. the more audacious I show the door to and if that isn't sufficient then I show them the sword. Let's just say I haven't had many issues. It is the same thing that draws all manner of beasts, men and monsters to do foolish things. Ignorance." Dagon says in his most matter-of-fact tone.

"Yes, and I think you have at long last have your answer about me: Why Am I Here? I am here because it offers the greatest chances of survival, not for myself necessarily but for this world. Humans have only discovered this recently but when a species has ceased to be endanger, it is less important for any individual to obtain security. After a time group dynamics takes over and the species as a whole evolves into unique social patterns. They have theirs and we have ours. In the sands underneath Hueco Mundo I remained relatively safe and undisturbed but it did not offer any room for growth. True, I would reach out and touch and feel other people and places but it was not the same. What I learned over the years was that the world was shrinking. Not physically but sociologically. Before we have had little interaction with outside worlds. We knew of them of course but the vast majority regarded them as little as they regard the sand beneath their feet. Now look at where we are now and everything should be apparent. Self imposed isolation would be our downfall... I could not abide that."

"And as long as I don't see the bodies, I can claim complete innocence in a truthful manner? Since if the Segunda handled them, that means that they weren't strong enough to even deal with my level. Very nicely done." She had business to do today, but getting to know Dagon a bit more was more important than those other things. Elly could speak for her whenever she needed to, being backed up by the thralls.

"It is good to hear from another's mouth, albeit in such an odd way." Sarai pointed out the multivoice thing with good humor, not meaning to cause offense. "I hope to be prepared, knowing I can't be. Especially with all these lax years with nothing to keep me busy. I'm getting more and more energetic now, its almost exciting being here for this time. That ball may be fun even if it turns out to be a trap, if only to get these tired old bones in condition again. You are prepared for as many traps as you can, Segunda?"

"I have a fierce reputation and a queer kind of sentimentality. All those who seek your audience must pass through me. In that respect, you can maintain a kind of distance from this and remain 'pure' in the matter. Do not worry. Everything will be managed. The few more quarrelsome can be even turned against the others. In this way they gain the illusion of your favor while eliminating many potential threats. From there we can attempt to integrate the survivors, conquer them ourselves or let them be devoured by others. I find that a large number of hollows only respect strength of the body over the mind. If you shower them with praise and flattery they'll do almost anything." Dagon muses.

"I am not predicting any surprises. From what I know they seem to be ill willing to fight but our history is a souring one. I'll be entreating with an Avatar, there is no reason why we should be playing with all our cards when only a part will suffice. This will allow me to monitor from a distance and better react. If needed I will make my presence known. As for giving your old bones a good shake, I can do one better. I can make you stronger then any foe you will ever fight. I can show you why the old Espada feared me as much as they did." If Dagon had a mouth in which to smile, there is no doubt he would be. Underneath that terrifying veneer of screaming faces and emotionless masks, a sight in which few could stomach lied and even greater monster. While he was strong, his most fearsome powers were not his combative abilities.

"Haha! Oh you are a deviously useful one aren't you. I wasn't wrong to let you in at all." Sarai's smile was cruel, not truly aimed at Dagon though. Mostly at the poor souls that had to deal with this monster first. "I had grown weary of dealing with them myself, but it would be a waste to force any of the others to. They are so good at their jobs, its inefficient to use them on such imbeciles."

"Good. I don't think there will be surprises either, but I haven't made it this far in my reign without being ready for the absolute worst." At Dagon's worst about the old espada fearing him, her cruel smile turned predatory and was now aimed at him. "Tsk tsk, never promise a lady such things. She might think you are boasting and make sure you keep to those boasts. The old Espada leader feared its own shadow and was an imbecile, though it didn't worry about me as much as it should have. I won't make that mistake with you, despite your overtures of loyalty Segunda."

"You flatter me." Dagon says before bowing his head a bit. "If you would prefer to handle any yourself you may of course do so at your leisure. In the mean time I will continue to be your faithful servant and deal with these interlopers. Some of them may be used as a way to shake things up a bit. If you like I could introduce you to some." Dagon shuffles his papers and slides a few the Corona's way. Mostly ones that possess some level of power or influence or just those that the Espada have the most to gain in seeing them eliminated.

"I promise you my queen. I make no boast I can not keep. Did you ever wonder why the Espada feared my power? You must have heard rumors. There was a time when my followers and I had been surrounded by 3 hollow lords who had forged a sort of triarchy. While they normally fought against each other they had become threatened by my followers even though we had, by in large, kept to ourselves. Perhaps it was jealously that led them to what they did or maybe it was just a base kind of hunger. Nonetheless they assembled an army and attacked." Dagon raised a single finger.

"It took 1 night for everything to fall apart, their blood spilled across the sand. The triarchs were killed and soon enough their lands were at war with each other and they fell into obscurity. Now only a few remember these events. I held on to one bastion, a small city no bigger then what I have here that numbered less then 1000 at the time. Their army was 5000 strong and yet no one made it out alive. I didn't have to lift a tentacle. How was it possible then? Rumors started to circulate about the great strength of my people but the Espada knew. Oh say what you want about your predecessors but they didn't lack for wits. They knew what won the battle lied beneath the sand. I think i said this before my Queen but power is only as useful as how you use it. Some use it to smash things. I use mine to enhance."

Sarai leafed through the papers, licking her finger and glancing at them a bit. "I recognize some of these names, they were lesser followers or minions of a few hollows we got rid of oh... about three hundred years ago? They weren't worth their salt back then, looks like they haven't learned anything from their bosses downfalls now that they have a bit of power of their own."

She pulled out two of the papers after making quick work of the stack, sliding them across the table to Dagon. Tapping on the images of the two hollows sh "I want these two brought to my tower in a week with no warning. However let it be known I requested them personally to all the others. Handle the rest how you want. I have an idea I wish to try out."

"Boasts are still boasts whether they are true or not. I know what you can do, its why you are here and alive." The corona wasn't one to mince words and she showed no signs of annoyance or even raised her voice. "Because I am the one standing here, I tell you that they were lackwits. They had few a few smart moves smothered by stupidity. They should have brought you in then, instead of allowing the chance to pass up in favor of me."

"I do appreciate your loyalty to me and won't misuse your talents Dagon. I have others for bruising and smashing. If you are inclined I would like to see more of your...special talents up close?" On anyone else that sentence could be suggestive, but she spoke plainly with one eyebrow raised. "I am curious to see more and up close how they work. Humor your Leader?"

"Aristotle Painshrieker. Looks like we have a philosopher here." Dagon says shrewdly as he looks at one of the dossiers. "He lacks power but seems to have a strange amount of influence. Maybe he makes a mean rice pudding" The voice came out was dry and humorless. Dagon then picks up the second one.

"ShadowCrusader. A strong one, if I recall correctly he was considered a potential Espada candidate but his hatred for us made him unmalleable. Pity" Dagon said pitilessly. "Your will be done"

"I wouldn't have joined them for the world. While I could not stand up to their combined might, they were no threat to me. It would have taken them half a millennia to find me if I moved. At the time you were in a precarious situation. You had everything you needed to usurp power but if you attacked too early things could have ended poorly. Take note, even with all the knowledge at one's disposal there is always the chance to be wrong and if a tragedy would have befallen you..." Dagon lets the last thought hang as if for once he seemed genuinely concerned. The voice that emanated was soft.

"Of course I will do anything that my Queen asks of me. Would you like a personal demonstration or shall I use a surrogate?" Dagon asks mercifully stoic.

"Their names are lacking something. Imagination?" Saraiyu took a bit of her long hair and held it out in front of her as if she was bored with it. The names were so atrocious the Corona had almost flinched. "I was thinking of giving them new ones. Any ideas? Like Orgoth the Legless. Slightly less tacky."

Her eyes gleamed with something close to... lets say amusement. "Oh I would be dead if I had failed, my luck whatever it was then, run out. Are you sad at the thought of me gone? Why would you be?"

Moving from her chair to the floor, Saraiyu seemed curious as she moved much much closer to Dagon. She looked at him as if her eyes could maybe discern some sort of logic from this monster. "I will die, preferably a long time from now. Why...do you seem so upset at the thought I might have died then?"

"I would prefer to see you without a stand in. "

"Orgoth the dead will probably be a more fitting name after all is said and done. I heard that they named themselves these names so I suppose they're narcissistic to boot." Dagon muses over this thought for a moment before shaking off a few other entreating thoughts threatening to vie for his attention.

"Sad? That would probably be inappropriate although I do suppose there would be some part that was sad but there would be some parts that would be angry and even elated at your demise. Not every soul that makes up this body was exactly friendly to you. Emotions are a tricky thing after all. Even more so if you happened to feel them all. No, rather I'd say the vast majority of my being would feel disappointed. Disappointed at all that wasted potential and nostalgic over what could have been." Dagon grows quiet for a moment as she moved closer. He then looks at her, his eyes gleaming with thoughts foreign and yet familiar while the emotionless mask of his face betrays his thoughts which seems to radiate nothing but a cold void while his mind races with warm thoughts. At last he speaks again, "I suppose you could call that sadness."

Dagon then moves towards the door where his fraccion had been waiting patiently. "What I meant was, shall I demonstrate my abilities on my servant or would you like to feel my power for yourself?"

"I won't be the one to give the finishing blow. Whatever he chooses after and if he lives is his choice. I merely will redirect his current path. Both of them." Saraiyu kept a close eye on Dagon, watching him for signs she could predict for later. He was so odd, but then most arrancar were. They weren't quite..sane enough to be called human, she supposed. It was her preferred state though.

"What could be then? This world order? I won't know exactly what you mean unless you come out and speak directly Dagon." She ticked off two elegant fingers in a gesture like counting. "Twice now you speak like this, so I shall give you a pointer. Emotions are what we choose to call them. If you think it is sadness, then it is sadness. Your thoughts are jumbled from all the thoughts you do have, your greatest power and weakness all in one. You can't make truly decisive decisions can you?"

Now Sarai grinned, a sharks grin. "Oh, of course on me. I thought that would be assumed."

"Well if it won't be us then it'll be some other opportunistic hollow. Within the smaller tribes it is an eat or be eaten world. At least with the Espada there is some measure of security" Dagon says with a shrug.

"I know what sadness is my queen. I know what it feels like to be depressed, to want something. It is only the expression of that feeling that might become muddled. Think of it this way, a normal person may feel conflicting emotions about the death of a loved one. Happy that that person is not dragging them down but sad because their presence had become expected. Now imagine if you will thousands of those emotions all vying for expression. What I am feeling, what I am truly feeling cannot be expressed within the confines of ordinary language so I make do with what I have. In other words, saying that I am simply sad would be entirely necessary but not sufficient." Dagon then meditates for a moment before speaking again.

"Can anyone truly be decisive? Is it not human to be wary of every decision lest we be called arrogant or even foolish? While I may not be strictly human, every decision and mind is weighed, measured and accounted for. If you are worried about my decision making or competency, don't be. I've been doing this for thousands of years and getting all the parts to function as a whole was one of the first things I learned to do. There have been hiccups along the way, I'll attest to that but even then they have been dealt with." Dagon derobes revealing the myriad of faces frozen in various forms of terror and pain, many of them either appearing to be weeping or screaming. "Not every soul can be integrated, their wills too powerful to be subjugated. Those of this rare quality have been the biggest threat to my existence but after I time I have sealed them within these masks and separated them from the rest."

Dagon pulls the robe back on. "Now I suppose the only question is when and where."

"We aren't human." Her voice was cold, almost as chill ice. The Corona "If they had access to our years they might become more so. Being flexible and being decisive are not exclusive concepts or thoughts. I accept your status though, it must be confusing even after all this time."

She eyed the faces on the body with a bit of interest, wondering if there was ones she could recognize in there. "Give me a day to prepare something, what would you prefer and where? I want to see your powers so its best you choose the stage."

(Sorry for short post, I had some idea of where I was going with this but I SOMEHOW FORGOT)

Dagon's course laugh echoed through the room. "Confusion is just another emotion but to say that I am confused would be like calling primordial chaos a little bit messy. Many of the myriad souls are nothing but confused but I am not merely my parts no more then you are yours. I feel it but I do not experience it myself just like I feel their pain but do not experience the pain... not in the traditional sense at least. If I had, I'd probably have torn myself a part millennias ago" Dagon then ponders for a moment regarding her statement again. Then genuinely says, "It is usually something that is attributed to me by those who pity my existence. Do you pity me my queen?"

"The best place is probably somewhere away from Las Noches." Dagon places his hand on the third envelope that Sarai did not choose and opened it up. "This village has been obstinate for some time. They possess some amount of power and would probably have been necessary for me to directly intervene. Personally I think there would be no better testing ground. It would rid of us a pesky nuisance to boot." Dagon then tossed her the folder.
