| Rather non-descript and unobtrusive, the storeroom of Squad 12 was, well, where most inventions and supplies/equipment were stored. The actual room was separated into two parts. In the front of the room, there was a counter with different sorts of paperwork and a normal sized window, and in the back it was filled with rows and shelves of said inventions/equipment.
The storeroom was where requests were processed to obtain different inventions and so forth. Oh yeah, cameras everywhere. YOU ARE BEING WATCHED.
Usually staffed by an unseated division member, but sometimes if Alex is feeling punishing, he will put a higher ranked member in charge of this boring wonderful duty.

| The Taicho of Division Four entered the storeroom, unsure of where she would need to go for this request. She had an unusual idea and figured that Division 12 would be the ones to help. Her eyes skimmed the papers laid out and she attempted to find a special request form of some sort to put into the storeroom. Would it be better to go with the Taicho on this though? Lakshmi hmmed to herself, adjusting her taicho's haori as she stared at the papers. Maybe she could adjust one to suit her needs. | |

| Returning to his division after leaving the Library, Alexander noticed a stronger presence than usual in the squad, more specifically in the storeroom. It was Shinigami by the feel of the spiritual energy, but still, he decided to check things out for himself.
As he opened the door, he was greeted to the site of another Captain attempting to do her best to fill out the forms required to obtain an item. Seemed like she was having trouble, and the unranked member he had put in charge of storeroom duty had fallen asleep in his chair. He would deal with that later.
"Captain Lakshmi. To what do I owe the honor of the Medical Head gracing me with her presence?" He asked with a bit of a smile. "If you need any cadavers, I'm afraid I have none left."

| "Oh, not this time. The trainees are off practicing on the students at the academy this time." Lakshmi turned her head just enough to see the Taicho of this division standing behind her. Setting down the pen and crumpling up her half written form, with copious amounts of cross outs and write ins, the healing division Taicho tossed it into a garbage nearby.
"I am glad to see you well, Taicho Alexander. You are just the person I need as I have an odd request." With a small smile, she turned around so she could face him. He was the Research Division Head, so that meant he would know who best to put on this request, if it was even possible at all. She held up arm, the shihaksho falling down to reveal oddly moving chains wrapped around her arms. "I want to see if its possible for you or your team to recreate an ability my shikai grants me. I would be rather pleased if you could figure it out, but if not it is not a huge problem."
Lakshmi wasn't one to beat around the bush and she seemed rather excited at the prospect of learning about this. Even if it wasn't medical science, the taicho never turned down learning.

| Aha, a challenge. Alexander loved those.
"Of course I can." He paused to give the other Captain a slight grin. The idea of working on something new always excited the man. "I did not get to be where I am merely on my ability to take tests." He chuckled, before walking over and getting a closer look at the silver-colored chains surrounding her arm.
"Hmm...these have the ability to heal, if I recall correctly, yes?" He paused for a moment "I take it your request is along these lines?"

| Lakshmi shook the arm lightly and the chains, almost reluctantly, loosened a bit. She was offering the Taicho the zanpakuto to see. "Of course not, I wouldn't assume testing had much to do with it. I've heard a bit about your inventions. It is why I came here."
"They can heal, yes. That is the ability I was hoping to impart, along with some specifics. I want restraints that can help heal wounds as well as be commanded without touch. Reiatsu control would be the preferred method, but verbal commands would work just as well." Looking back at the forms, she smiled. "Should I fill out a form, now Taicho Alexander? Also, would you need to do testing on my zanpakuto or self? I'm willing to do whatever you need me to if it would help."

| Listening to her request, the R&D head stood back up straight and nodded lightly.
"Shouldn't be a problem. I've got a good deal of experience with this sort of thing already, having made a few inventions along similar lines." He remarked "I should be able to get by with a small portion of your spiritual energy, so I will need you for the initial test but that's all." Alexander finished, as he returned Lakshmi's smile with one of his own.
"No need, Miss Lakshmi. I'm handling this request personally." The Squad 12 Captain replied to her offer. "Would you like to begin now, or do you have things to do? It can't be easy being the head of the Healing Division, I don't envy that occupation." He joked with slight laughter.

| "I knew I was right to come here. My division wouldn't be able to handle such a request, in spite of my pride in it. We're more innovative on the medicinal end than inventive items." A bit self deprecating, she let out a small chuckle at Alexander's compliment. Lakshmi gave Alexander a short bow as she continued speaking, "I can do it right now, today is my required day off and I would be in ever so much trouble if I actually set foot in any of the work areas. Gigi and the others are rather protective."
"I appreciate your help, Taicho. I wouldn't be able to handle your job either, but that's why we are where we are. This sort of experimentation must excite you just as much as healing medical work does me, its not as much work if you love it." She adjusted her Haori and looked around. "Will we do this here or elsewhere? I worry more about taking up your precious time than anything though. Don't you have important things to do as well?"

| "If there are two things I've learned over the course of my life, its this: Don't become slothful, and never ignore a pretty lady's request." Alexander replied with a chuckle as he took a step to the side and outstretched one of his hands towards the open doorway.
"If I wasn't doing this, I would just be reading one of these books." He smiled as he shifted the hold on the books in his other arm. "Believe me, working in my Laboratory is more entertaining. After you, of course."

| "Hah, I would prefer you listen to my request because it is interesting, not my luck in getting these physical traits. However the first I can agree on entirely." The Healing Taicho couldn't resist poking a bit of playful fun at her companion.
"Your chivalry is too much. I have no idea where we need to go." Letting out a small laugh, the taicho of the fourth division still took the invitation to start on their way though. She hadn't caught the titles of the books but it was too late now to look back. "But the books look rather interesting. What titles are you reading?"
It would be nice to talk something other than medical while they walked. It was her day off after all.
(If you want them to leave the storeroom and head to another topic that would be fine. Or they can stay here as well.)

| (Might as well use the Lab topic then, I'll post my response there.) | |
