Morinaga Compound

The Morinaga Compound is hilariously large for the notoriously small clan. A large portion of the people living there are workers and those entirely unrelated to the strict marriage requirement family. At most, the related members of the clan number in the low dozens, maybe twenty-four on a good day.

As they are the keepers of the artifacts hidden away or in need of scrutinizing and take such a job seriously, they can be a rather painful family to get along with especially with outsiders. Stuck up, proud and obnoxious at times, the family generally runs to lighter haired members with lighter and even odd colored eyes.

Most carry red lined tattooes, the more there are the closer to the family they are. The Heads and Heirs carry a intricate and personal golden tattoo on their back, the tattooing method a rather well kept secret.

The compound itself is a large sprawling one even inside of the seireitei. Members of the core family are split up by rankings. The Head with their own house that serves as the gate to the rest and more personal ones, it has meeting and guest rooms though it is still somewhat small compared to many other manors especially since it is multistoried and thus takes up less horizontal space. The Heir has their own special building and section, while another large multi-storied building houses the remaining members of the clan. There are several smaller buildings put throughout the place, all are multistoried as the clan seems to like those.

Large underground portions where artifacts are stored and hidden away exist, as well as tunnels... There is a small lake, much too large and deep to be a pond but not too large that lays against the edge of the Heir home. It is surrounded by the walled in trees that keep this place secret and hidden really.
