As Aoi's top attempted to float away, one of Rin's hands surfaced to stop it as Aoi searched for his swim trunks...and eventually pointed out towards a grassy area. All...the way over there.

"I'm alright, it was just some water." Rin replied, hopefully being somewhat reassuring as Aoi stripped down. "I-I'm just used to...to swimming with it on."

He was a bit surprised as Aoi moved and unintentionally rubbed against him, but it was easier to compose himself when it came to that. His arm moved around her, behind her waist as she moved up to him, holding her to him lightly.

"I can get it for you if it bothers you. Ruka isn't here so I don't feel bad swimming naked. At home date means I can right?" Aoi's smile was soft and a bit unsure, but she would wear and get Rin his if he wanted to. As his arm wrapped around her, she snuggled against him in the water and sighed.

This was nice... if only the float things weren't out of reach. They could snuggle on them for a bit...

"You can...I would be more comfortable with mine, but..." As much as he wanted it...he felt a bit bad about asking her to get it, he'd just had her worried...

If it was just the two of them, Aoi...he didn't mind if she swam like this since it was just them. That'd be fine.

"If it'd make you more comfy, I will go get it and bring it back." Rin's hold wasn't too strong, Aoi backed out of it easily as she moved to the edge. Not caring if Rin saw her, it wasn't anything he hadn't before, she pushed herself up and crawled up. Moving at a swift little jog, she went over to the bathing suit and shook it a few times to make sure no dirt or bugs or grass was on it before moving back to the pool.

Squatting down with her legs together on the tips of her toes, she held out the suit and smiled. "Here. Sorry I took it from you."

"Ah, you don't..." Aoi escaped his hold easily, moving to fetch the swimsuit that'd been discarded. He accepted it back from her as she handed it to him, moving to quickly put it back on as she smiled at him and apologized.

"It's alright." He replied, looking back up at her with a small smile once his swim trunks were back on properly.

"And now you feel better yes?" Aoi asked, still making no move from her perch on the edge of the pool. A small smile was better than nothing but she still felt a bit bad. She ruffled her dripping hair a bit, finding it not as soothing to tug her curls when they were all soaked and loose like this.

"I'm alright, I promise." Rin nodded, hoping she would see that he was going to be perfectly alright. He felt better, his breathing had evened out now from the water earlier. So he'd be fine.

She still hadn't moved to get back into the water, he supposed she wanted to make sure he was alright first still...

"I meant about the swimming trunks." Aoi's cheeks puffed up. She knew he was perfectly fine now, but she didn't get to see him naked the entire time. Her eye candy...her fanservice... all gone in a simple act of making him feel better...and if he didn't appreciate what she was giving up to make him comfy...

Moving to grab the inflatable shark, Aoi wrapped her arms around it and hugged it.

"Ah, I-I do feel better." He definitely felt more comfortable out here with his swim trunks on, even if it was just the two of them.

Rin watched as Aoi moved over to where the inflatable pool items were, unable to help but smile as she grabbed the shark.

Aoi's smile was warm as she heard his confirmation. She felt better without it, though Rin was still holding her top for some reason. Pointing it out as she moved to the stairs, Aoi carefully set the shark down and then started the careful process of getting onto it. "Did you like my top that much? I know its pretty and all... But... Did you want to wear it instead?"

With a small sound of surprise, Rin let go of Aoi's top. "I-I only grabbed it in case you wanted it back!"

What...What was she talking about!? H-Him wearing it!? Absolutely not! His face was red again, and thankfully he wasn't under water, or else he probably would have ended up with another mouth full.

Aoi giggled, successfully laying on top of the shark. It required the utmost balance to maintain this pose and not fall off, watching her bathing suit top and bottom just float around the pool. "I should take those out in case we forget them. Ruka would assume we did dirty things even though I got that mostly out of my system so she wouldn't get upset at me."

"Why is Rin so tempting to me?" Aoi sighed, trailing her fingers in the water as she laid her head on the shark's. The shark had no answers.

At Aoi's words, as she relaxed herself on the shark, Rin moved to get her swimsuit, moving it over to place it out of the water on the edge of the pool. He could at least do that much...

It'd be bad if they forgot and Ruka assumed as well...

He couldn't answer her last question, at all, really.

Aoi slowly drifted towards Rin, slowly getting closer in the slowest shark attack in history. She did not move an inch other than slightly paddling her feet to keep moving in the right direction. It was sweet and smart of him to grab the pieces for her...

Her face was hidden by red hair, the other half smushed against the shark. Slowly...she approached Rin's position.

Rin rested back against the edge of the pool once he'd moved the swimsuit, giving a small breath as Aoi slowly approached him. With her moving on the float, he hardly noticed the slowly slimming distance between them.

Aoi got close enough, having thought carefully about the why for that time, to speak softly as the Shark turned so she could touch his cheek. "Because I have that strong feeling for you I think. So I want to always be near you and touching... and since I'm a bit messed up it ties with sex for me~ Sorry about that."

"Hm?" Rin looked up at Aoi as her hand moved to his cheek, and after a short moment he supposed she was answering her own question. As she apologized he shook his head some, "It's alright. I love you just the way you are."

He had a bit of a tint to his cheeks saying that, but...he wanted to say that, despite her past he still felt that way about her.

"...mmmmm...." Aoi buried her face in the shark, hiding the dark blush that filled her face at his words. Rin loved her just fine like this... She felt like a burden on him sometimes so it was good to hear he liked those parts... Glancing up she saw the red and her mind latched onto that.

"Aaah Rin your nose. Did you put sunscreen on?!" Aoi asked, seeing his tinted face and getting a bit worried. Was it a blush or was Rin getting sunburnt?!

"H-Huh?" Rin's hand went to his face, touching it lightly. "I-I'm blushing but...I...did forget."

He was blushing right now but as he'd said, he'd forgotten the sunscreen. How could he have forgotten the sunscreen!? He'd be damned if he got burned again! Never again!

"Oh good its just blushing." Aoi had a few healing kido she could use, one of which might help with sunburns. But she smiled, her fingers reaching up to touch the hands on his face. She twined her fingers between his, pulling his hand to her cheek instead. "Lets get some on you! Unless you'd rather head inside for now? I'd...like to do what Rin wants for a bit. I can always get back in the pool... I think Ruka knew we'd um...so she made sure to be away all day."

"I'm fine with either, if you want to stay in the pool longer we can." If they went inside it'd either lead to food or cuddling, or both. Aoi loved swimming though, and he wanted her to enjoy things she loved today. "If we go inside we can dry off and well, I suppose we spend it in the lounge upstairs...that or I can make us food."

"...You make this so hard on me Usa." Aoi looked at Rin with a bit of exasperation. She wanted him to be able to pick something he wanted! Squeezing his hand, she puffed up her cheek and decided. "We'll go inside! And you can make something sweet and... Hm there are things you still have not shown me about the human world. Like..board games."

Rin liked to be inside right? They'd be getting in the hot tub later, it'd be dark out so it'd be better that way.

"Alright. We'll go inside then, anything specific you want me to make other than sweet?" He could show her those things, they had some board games, there were some stashed away. Their stock was mostly in video games though.
