Funny facebook math problem

It's kinda funny, when a lot of people argue and argue endlessly on a math problem posted on facebook. If you have facebook, maybe you have already seen this ad. The people that get it wrong gets extremely annoyed at everyone that got it right. I'll share it here, but I am certain everyone here will get it right hehe :)

4 * 4 + 4 * 4 + 4 - 4 * 4 = ?

The add says: "73% of people will get this wrong"

You better all get this right hehe

I should get this right, since I'm a math major. The problem with this sort of expression is that it lacks clarity. If we assume standard order of operations, we get

4 * 4 + 4 * 4 + 4 - 4 * 4 = (4 * 4) + (4 * 4) + 4 - (4 * 4) = 16 + 16 + 4 - 16 = 20
