Safe For Work

It'd been awhile...but Muika had recently received notice that the bodysuit was ready. Mia had completed it... Soon she'd have a bodysuit for work that would help her protect herself from hollows.

It would worry Iyuki less, and that was what she wanted...even if she was a bit embarrassed about it still. It had padding so it wouldn't look like it clung...

She just had to keep telling herself that.

As she did, she sat back, curled up on the couch and waited for the woman's arrival.

Mia felt a bit awkward and nervous, she'd never been to a human's house before though... it couldn't be too much different than her own. Still, it was something new. Even more new was her lack of cloak for the moment, wearing only a cute outfit that Shizue had helped her pick out and carrying a large bag of sewing supplies. She wanted...she was trying so hard to become less shy, pushing herself and this was a good chance to!

The triplets had put her gigai hair up in an intricate messy braid, allowing her to keep it out of the way for her work as well... Which only made her more nervous. Masaru wasn't here to help with this. She would have to do this alone. She couldn't even hide behind her hair... But she needed the practice!

Needed it badly, the short time living with Masaru had shown her that... So with nervous glances around, she slowly made it up the stairs and knocked before turning beat red. Cloak...why hadn't she brought her cloak... Small shakes...tiny shakes...

Hearing the knock, Muika looked towards the door before standing; she made quick steps over to it, not wanting to keep the woman standing outside. Unlocking the door, she opened it for Mia and gave stepped back for her.

"W-Welcome." She'd had to come a long way, or what seemed like a long way considering she was from the Soul Society. "F-Feel free to sit down..."

No guests other than Mia were expected today, which was good considering they'd need to be trying on the suit and such.

Startling as the door opening, Mia looked up with a small smile and nodded as she stepped inside. "I-I'm sorry it took so long... I-I ended up moving and had some weird things happen so it took me a bit to find everything again."

"Thank you..." Mia moved past Muika, carefully slipping her shoes off before heading inside and looking around at the apartment. It... was nothing like what she had imagined really. Her eyes were a bit wide, it was like in her otome games more so than anything else... "Um...where should I sit? A-And set my things down..."

She didn't want to mess up the place and shifted nervously, glancing back at Muika.

"A-Ah, the couch is fine, you can put your things wherever you'd like, wherever is convenient for you." Muika replied as Mia stepped inside, she closed the door behind her as Mia had asked that, and at the thank you she managed a small smile towards the other woman.

"It's fine, you don't need to apologize...there was no rush."

Mia didn't need to apologize for those things; things happened, and she was a shinigami so she had other work to attend to as well that would keep her preoccupied.

"All right... Thank you..." Mia moved forward, still nervous and not sure what exactly to do in situations such as this but willing to sit and set her bag down at least. She smiled in return to Muika, the small smile the woman gave her allowing her to relax just a bit as well as her calm words. She seemed more centered now and it helped Mia relax as she set her bag next to the coffee table.

Being here for a specific reason and not just a visit made it a bit awkward. When did you talk about that stuff? "H-How have you been lately then? I-Its been a while. Did you enjoy the candy?"

It'd been a while but she could do small talk!

"Welcome..." Muika gave a nod and stepped into the living room with Mia; "T-There's tea, and water...if you'd like that. I can get it."

It was...right to offer, and while she couldn't make anything really she could offer cold drinks; it was still a bit hot out so maybe... If Mia wanted one that was...

"I've been good, overall... Th-The candy was good, Iyuki let his cousin have a bit of it...Hibiki."

He'd gotten the kompeito, though they had kept most of it, and had some for snacks and such. It had been really good.

Things have been good though, other than the bubbles really life had gone on as normal.

"U-Um water might be good. It'll be a bit of work once I start... K-Kind of warm." Mia gave a relieved smile, she could accept a glass of water... and then realized she had brought something herself! "I brought you two a cake... I hope its okay..."

She had wanted to bake something at least... Muika's next words caused a real surprised little laugh though as she smiled.

"A-Ah yes. I met Hibiki... he seems to really really like it... H-He helped me make coffee! W-We text a lot..." For the quiet pair that is. Sometimes they practiced things like how to talk to others... and then pretended they never messed up. Wait... he'd never said he was related to Muika's sweetheart. Mia tilted her head and smiled. "That's good to hear though. Thank you..."

"Okay, a-and that's fine; I-I'm sure it'll be really good, thank you..."

A cake would be good, and she was sure she and Iyuki would enjoy it; the candy had been really good so she was sure the cake would be as well.

Hibiki, she'd met him... They practiced talking? Well, if it worked for them then... Hibiki didn't seem like the best conversation partner at all, but she wasn't one to ask opinions on when it came to him.

Getting the glass of water for Mia, she returned to the living room once she had it in hand and set it down for the woman before sitting down herself.

"Mm, welcome."

Mia bent over the bag and reached for the side to pull out a smallish cake that was perfect for two people. Chocolate frosting done up in a very cute style, it had two little kitties on top of it rolling around. She looked around the living room, unsure of where to set it and just...held it for now. Yes.

"Welcome..." Muika had sat down so... Mia assumed... Set the cake on the table! It had a cover on it so it was safe and she smiled as it was placed there. "Um today you'll have to be...probably close to entirely naked... N-No bra, I-I hope that doesn't bother you? I-It should hold...hold all but the..."

Mia's arms went around her chest and looked away. She would...would definitely..not...work...

A-Almost entirely...

It was...embarrassing, but...

Her face was red from hearing that, but she knew there would be no other way to properly wear it, it was important or else it wouldn't work.

"R-R-Right..." Muika nodded, knowing she'd need to; i-it would be best to get that over with and now dwell...too much on it.

Her eyes briefly went to the cake Mia had set on the table, she would get up and put it up in a minute; she wouldn't take a bite from it until Iyuki saw it fully though... It was cute from what she could see, so Iyuki would definitely want to see it.

"I-I know we are both...um...shy about it. But I hope we can...get through this... trial together." Mia turned slightly and bowed while sitting, the braid falling over her shoulder. It would be a trial... "A-Anything I can do to make it easier, just say."

Anything! Mia would do as much as she could to help the young woman and herself really... It would be awkward enough...

N-Not like she hadn't seen naked women before but... just... She barely knew Muika...they were...nice enough but just...

Mia was flushed brightly as she stayed bowed.

"R-Right, t-things should be fine..." Muika gave another nod, "I-It's best to just...t-try to not think about it a-and just g-get the e-embarrassing part over with."

They would be able to do this, g-get through it; things would be just fine, they were in a private area and there were no guests coming. For now, Iyuki was at work and wasn't expected back until a bit later.

"Y-You don't need to b-bow, i-it's alright!" She added quickly; Mia didn't need to be so...so formal, even if they didn't know each other well!

"Y-yeah... If we get it on you right away I can adjust it as needed..." Mia nodded firmly as she straightened and began taking things out of the large bag she'd brought. There was extra material, padding, several different type and thicknesses of threads all in black...

Needles and other things.

It would have been easier with the cape, but she...needed the practice... Instead she pushed the cake to the side and nodded softly. "I-I'll try not to bow so much. I just feel bad..."

Muika was right though, the embarrassing thing would be this part... The most at least. "I-It'll be slightly big in places just to be sure and I will parse it down slowly but surely to make sure it has the right fit really. You may have to try it on a few times... Is there anything you can wear that will be easy to get on and off? L-Like a long robe?"

"Mm..." Muika gave a small nod; they could get the bodysuit on and Mia could get to adjusting it as she saw fit. "I-It's fine...N-Nothing to...to feel b-bad about..."

Mia didn't to worry about...about...

"A robe, um..." She'd...never worn a robe... She didn't really have one, maybe um... "I-I have j-jackets or I could borrow one of Iyuki's s-shirts or something..." Those were long on her... They didn't have much of a height difference, but he was still bigger than she was. "I-I also have...b-blankets I could just wrap up in..."

Blanket might work... She wouldn't have to go through the closet for things and no buttons to worry about.

"If you feel okay with the blanket... It would be the easiest..." Mia felt the blanket might work best out of all the offered options. It provided the most coverage at least. She still felt a bit bad but Muika's reassurance had an obvious effect on her, a small smile appearing as she finally pulled out the folded up black bodysuit.

It had places to tie things and was of a stretchyish material so certain parts would just pull over... What kind of material though Mia didn't know, only that it was special made... "H-Here. If you want to go change... in the room... That'd be fine..."

"O-Okay, blanket then." That would be the easiest, she could just have it wrapped around her whenever she needed to get out of the suit. She would also be completely covered.

When Mia suggested she go ahead and change, Muika went to accept the suit from her with another small nod; "Alright, I'll be right back."

Getting up from her seat, she took the bodysuit with her into the bedroom; she just needed to get changed, and she'd bring a blanket out with her once she was done.

It didn't take too long, just a bit as she took a moment to get dressed before exiting the room; "G-Got it..."

Returning to the chair, she set the blanket down and then turned to Mia for her to look at it.

Mia smiled and watched Muika head to the bedroom while she made sure everything she needed was here. She had double checked before leaving but it was good to be super sure. Okay... All set out for quick access for Muika and her comfort! She wasn't used to sewing for anyone else yet really, Nozomi and Kaimu somewhat... And Masaru at times. There had been a few incidents where she'd had to fix up accidents...

As Muika came back out and set the blanket down, Mia looked over the suit and smiled. "Aha, only a few problem spots... I'm sorry but I'll have to touch you a bit."

She stood up and circled Muika, tugging on certain places and testing the elasticity to see if it was too stretched... Carrying a pincushion with her and a threaded needle, she began marking out spots where it sagged or was too loose in the thicker fabric. "Anywhere it feels too tight or clinging oddly?"

Muika remained standing for Mia as the woman came over to her, letting her pull at places that she needed to. "T-That's fine, um... I don't think there's any areas that are...t-too tight, n-nothing I didn't expect... s'Supposed to be clingy, r-right?"

It was supposed to cling to her, and fit to her form so...that's what she had expected and so far most areas fit what she'd expected.

She wasn't used to wearing this type of clothing, so...she wasn't sure if it was odd or not. Nothing felt suffocating or anything...

"Mm, its supposed to cling but if it pulls or restricts your movement it'd not be good at all. So I guess if its... It should sit against your skin and move a bit but it shouldn't pull against you." Mia made sure Muika knew that that was what they'd need to look for while she marked places.

Mia moved Muika's arms a bit and checked the wear against it... She was double checking seams and other such work as well. It'd be easier if they had something to talk about... Oh! "Do you... know anything about human schools? I-I've recently... had to um... Well... Nozomi, Zomi, is Masaru's little sister. I-I recently moved into his household so... I've taken over things. I need to get her some tutors but I don't know how to teach or...anything but I have to?"

"I-Its my duty now. A-And I want to, but I have no...no idea?" Maybe Muika could help her...

A-Ah... Right then, so far she hadn't felt...too much of that really, perhaps a few areas, but Mia seemed to be good at finding what needed fixing.

School?

"W-Well...I never...went to school, really, but... Um..." Mia needed tips on how they worked... "There are usually...core subjects, important ones... Those are the ones that are usually focused on the most, and...sometimes there's extras..."

She only knew this through reading and research, while subjects had been taught they'd mostly been taught up to a required level to fit in among normal people...for when they likely became trackers if anything.

"W-Writing, reading..." Those two were the big ones, she knew... "Start easy, and then...work your way up to harder things..."

"Core...subjects. So I build from those basics... Reading and writing fully... Thank you, I was really overwhelmed... I'll try to work from small things first..." Mia muttered, wondering what core subjects would be good to have and going through lists in her mind about such things. What could be the basics though? Accounting? Mia knew nothing of such things really...

Well she did know a ton about other subjects. Smiling as she marked the arms, the woman stepped back and gave it a once over look. "Be careful, there are pins in the arms and near your...your chest. I-I'll need you to take it off so I can do a bit of work and see how it does..."

"M-Mm...I-I'm pretty sure that's how it works..." Muika replied, she...felt that was right anyway, from what she'd seen. Reading and writing were the most important, and others like math and sciences...

Teachings at...that place had been different from what she had read in books after, they'd all still been taught so they could blend in, but...it was different from what normal people experienced in schools.

She waited and stood still as Mia marked the various places that needed adjustments, and gave a nod when the woman said to be careful. S...She would be careful.

"'K-Kay..."

Now to get it off... It...It would likely be time consuming for Mia to have ot wait every time for her to go to and from the bedroom to get undressed, and she'd brought the blanket out here so... with a red face she carefully went about taking it off.

T-They were both women, so it was fine...that's what she told herself anyway, it hardly did anything to quell her extreme shyness towards this.

Once properly undressed out of the bodysuit, she quickly wrapped herself in the blanket so Mia could make the necessary adjustments.

Mia gave Muika a warm smile, feeling herself loosen up more. Muika had...helped... Mia hadn't wanted to bother Masaru with these questions and wasn't sure how to research them. To be honest it was terrifying how much everyone seemed to be deferring to her and even those triplets of hers were just... So having someone to just ask small things with no formality was a treat.

As Muika stripped, Mia blushed and looked down as she did so mostly due to her inexperience in doing such things. She'd...never seen...any other woman naked really. Maybe her mother as a child but... She never really up close...

Mia thought the woman's body was really cute and then she pushed that thought out of her mind because it was highly in appropriate. Well...maybe not entirely so. It wasn't thought in...more than... admiring... Aaah!

Once she was wrapped in the blanket, Mia quickly grabbed the body suit and threading a needle started to alter it. "S-Sorry Muika..."

Muika had kept her eyes to the floor as she'd stripped, but now she was all bundled up securely in the blanket. Mia's words caused her to look up, a...apologies?

"I-I-It's alright..." T-There wasn't anything wrong, so... So everything was just fine.

U-Undressing like this was unavoidable, the bodysuit needed to be altered somewhat so it could be worn comfortably. F-For the alterations to be done it'd need to be put on and taken off...

She'd never really had clothes done like this before, but even still...she still knew this was...n-necessary. The bodysuit was for her protection for when she was at work... Mia was nice enough to make it, and Iyuki would be happy because she'd be safe...

So she could definitely do this much...
