| Miyako yawned, laying on the overly large couch they had recently gotten for the large loft apartment. It was large by their old standards, having been a small one room apartment and a school dorm or one room in her family's house...
All this space was a bit much and they were quickly attempting to fill it partially at least. A large open place, with high windows that let in all sorts of light on most sides, this place was on the second story of a shop below it and perfect for them. The upper floor only took up half of available space up there, open with a large bed that was impossible to find in stores due to her having made it. Dressers up there, a large table she had converted into a work desk... The downstairs had a larger kitchen than either was used to and an island to sit at or cook at if wanted with stools for it.
There was also a dining table as well, set out in the open area in a section of its own with matching tables...
The living room area had a large two piece couch that was made of comfort and soft that sectioned off where the tv sat on a stand against a wall. There were a few lamps scattered around and a few rugs on the bare floor, also a few small coffee tables and end stands. The living room also had a oddly almost pitch black wood kotatsu, but those weren't as nice for naps on a harder floor anymore so the couch had been highly needed.
Miyako loved it so much. It was bright and airy and open and just the best. Not to mention the bathroom and laundry rooms set under the loft section above that held the bedroom. The entrance way was under there, a small hallway leading into the open area.
She had her easel set up in a particularly perfect corner, though she had warned Hibiki away with firm promises to not look. It didn't stop his floofy kitten though, getting larger by the week it seemed... She did and went wherever she wanted and at this moment Her Royal Imperiousness was mewing softly in a muffled manner. Uh oh...
Miyako opened her eyes just in time to see a small scepter, small but with a heavily jeweled top, land on her stomach and cause a pained cry. The kitten stared down with imperious eyes and the young woman sighed. She sat up, the waiting kitten staring until she grabbed her and stood up with her tucked under her arm.
Her ribbon, wrapped around her head and tied with two bows at the sides held back her shorter hair now that was an inch or so past her chin in a rather straight cut now. "Lets get you your treats. I assume its time then, floofbutt?"
The kitten mewed, in what could only be assumed was a happy one, causing Miyako to grumble but smile. The spoiled brat had grown used to her new home and person already. And new fancy pillows, and new climbing post in front of the window near the ever blooming sakura tree.
They were all the kitten felt she was due it seemed and even adored her cape and crown... Hibiki grumbled about spoiling her too much and making her ego bigger, but he did what she wanted more than Miyako did.

| Hideki glanced around, sensing to make sure nobody was following him, hollow or otherwise. He wasn't exactly up to any sort of wet work, but he liked keeping things at least a little covert, for the sake of his.. source? Yes, source sounded right, he supposed. Since he'd been doing research on Fullbringers, he'd had some trouble going off of books and needed to meet some and find out more. It was partially for his friend Aoi, but at this point it was just as much for his own curiosity. Maybe he could put together an entry for the library on the subject, though keeping a library and writing a book were two different things..
He looked at the scrap of paper in his pocket and up at the apartment numbers, before noticing the... tiny Sakura Tree? .... Inside...? That was in bloom?.... He pulled out his phone and checked the date... Nope.. that... didn't make sense... He put the paper back in his pocket and headed to the building's stairs, ascending to the second floor and glancing around again before coming up to the door.
"Well... Here goes.." He muttered to himself before knocking on the door. "Hello?"

| Already their first solicitor! Miyako held a bag of treats in one hand as she heard a knock and a hello, a large floofy ragdoll kitten who was struggling to get the bag in the other. It wasn't a voice she recognized as being Iyuki or anyone she knew... though it was muffled so that might be it. She headed to her door with a happy grin and a grumpy kitten under one arm as she set the bag down to open it up.
Instead of being suspicious as she should be, after that whole kidnapping and torture incident, Miyako just pulled the door open and smiled. "Hello? Can I hel-H-Huh?!"
Her smile stayed stuck in place as if glued, she blinked, staring at the oddly familiar man before her eyes went down to the kitten who had just given up on life and gone limp in her arm. "...Oh no Hibiki will be upset. Another bubble..."
She hefted the playing dead drama queen up to her shoulder and promptly turned around to shut the door. "Ah yes, this time lets avoid ALL the trauma by napping it away. I think since it was nice enough to put us in our own home we should use the couch until it all goes away."

| Hideki looked around. He heard noises inside, but no answer. Hrm. He heard them, they must be home... unless maybe that was pets? Hrm... He lifted his hand to knock again when suddenly the door opened. "Is any..." He trailed off around the same time the girl did.
The girl being Miyako.. "..." He opened his mouth to speak, only blinking a few times. What the... "Ah..." He was still stupefied... he quickly pulled the paper out and looked up at the address as she mumbled to herself. This... This was the right place... He looked up to see her about to shut the door and quickly placed his hand in the way, with less than optimal results.
"Yeowch!" He gave a sharp cry and pushed his much more durable foot in the door. "M-Miyako?" He finally asked in utter confusion.

| Instinct took over as she heard a yelp of pain from the man. Miyako turned and immediately looked contrite, pulling the door open with wide shocked green eyes. "Ah! Sorry sorry, Hide. Are you hurt too badly?!"
...
Now that she was facing him though despite her panicked lookingeyes and the cat still grumpily playing dead on her shoulder, a twin to Yuzuki's two floofs, Miyako felt tears welling up. "This is a cruel joke. Why are you showing up now? You've been dead like five years!"
She sniffled strongly, but seemingly accepted that it was her cousin. He was probably a ghost... not knowing what else to do, she stepped aside to let the ghost cousin in at least. It was her home, she could let ghost cousins in if she wanted. She was staring at the young man whose looks hadn't much changed and felt like crying again. Why was he...not passed on yet? She... she...was warring inside of her head now. Whether to be happy to see him or whether to bawl her eyes out and huggle him. The latter urge was winning.

| Hideki stared blankly at her, his mind re-running far more memories from the past than he was prepared to deal with today. Family events, hanging out, trips... They were cousins, but they'd always been close. Probably do to their infectious optimism. He opened his mouth to speak, his brow furrowing a bit. Crap... He wasn't... He wasn't supposed to meet people from his past life like this... He certainly wasn't supposed to knock on their door.
He should... probably just run... Probably just book it and hope she forgets...
Instead he hugged her. "Miyako! I missed you so much!" He shouted, squeezing her in the hug. Holy hell, had she gotten taller! He finally let go and took a step back. Crap. Explanations. Dead cousins don't just show up unannounced. What did he even tell her? He was dead... and a ghost, technically.. but.. probably not in the sense that she would be thinking.
"Um..." He took one more glance at her starting to cry. Crap. "Um... Miyako... Don't freak out... I'm... a ghost, but... I'm... uh... I don't know how to explain this... I'm like a super ghost.." He gestured with his hands as he spoke, getting the impression he was probably speaking utter nonsense to her. "Um..Okay, this is complicated. We should sit down." He came in finally, glancing around.
"W-wait... I came here looking for a Fullbringer... Uh... Does..." W-wait... was she... living here with someone? Maybe just roommates?

| Miyako burst into tears as Hideki hugged her, hugging him back just as tightly and unable to help it. Dead favorite cousins showing up were a bit much to not cry over and she cried rather easily as it was. "You missed me?! I missed you! Why'd you have to go and die!?"
It was an accusation but it wasn't really meant. She knew better than some that sometimes bad things happened... As he let go and stepped back, she found herself staring at her dead cousin and wondering why the hell he hadn't changed at all and where was his chain of fate. Possibly to Hideki's surprise, Miyako just nodded in utter acceptance at his words. "Oooh! Okay. I can see ghosts now, but you don't have a chain thingy..."
The kitten struggled weakly on the shoulder now, before scrambling off and jumping to the floor looking peeved that the hug and adoration wasn't for her. How DARE he not adore her immediately! Bed was in serious trouble.
Serious trouble.
Meanwhile Miyako sniffled and rubbed her eyes with her hands, ignoring the indignant cat's cleaning of her fur. "Come on in then. W-We have a nice soft couch... Fullbringer? You must mean Hibiki... Waaaait Hide, are you a shinigami?! He's at work right now. That's so cool! A super ghost..."
Her sadness was quickly disappearing under just pure excitement, eyes practically glowing as she bounded into the apartment. There was also a bit of pride as she waved her arm for Hideki to follow. He had to see her place! And see her powers! And see all sorts of things!
She... was too excited to stay unhappy now that she had good news to focus on. Plus it wasn't like she didn't know all sorts of things about that stuff now! They even had a pamphlet from that weird shop of Muika's work...

| Hideki didn't know exactly what to say to Miyako. He gave her a pat on the back of the head before their hug ended. He would be pretty upset too in her shoes... He knew what sort of impact his death had had on his family, but it was so much different from his perspective because he wasn't dead in the most classical sense... "I'm sorry." Was all he could say to her as their hug ended.
He was surprised, however to find her... erm... mostly UNsurprised... She... Wait, she could see ghosts. W-wait... did she just ask if he was a shinigami? His face brightened a little, somewhat relieved. If she was spiritually aware, then... W-well... it really wasn't so bad to keep in touch with her, was it? He... He'd never really thought about anyone in his family being aware of the spirit world...
"U-Um.." He followed her to the couch and plopped down on it. "Y-yeah... You... You know about shinigami and stuff? Uh, yeah.. I'm.. Yeah." He wanted to tell her... everything... that he was a captain, that he was okay, that he missed her.. everyone, really... He also felt excitement starting to build. H-holy crap... If she really was a spiritually aware human...

| Miyako almost started humming, she was that pleased now that she was assured he knew it was his fault he... Well it wasn't his fault but he'd said sorry. She wiped her eyes of the remaining tears, it had been... years so the pain wasn't too fresh and she'd gotten used to dealing with ghosts lately.
At least... Hideki was alive somehow. In this form was better than... than well the worry he'd gone hollow or something.
Knowing a sucker when she saw one, the kitten promptly hopped up onto Hideki's lap as he plopped onto the couch. Hideki was immediately made her bed as she laid across him, while Miyako just sighed but let her as she sat down near him but not too close. She wanted to be able to talk to him and face him, so her legs curled up under her as she turned to look. "Wooow! That's amazing. You're my first! Hibiki met a few and Muika and even Iyuki too. Ah, that's so cool though. How did you get to be one? Was it hard? Where do you work? I heard there were all sorts of things they do!"
Much like she'd always done, she fell into the rhythm of just asking him all sorts of questions. As the older and wiser (marginally at times) cousin it had always been his duty to relay to her important things. Asking questions and being happy over this kept her from crying and hugging him though.

| Hideki looked down at the kitten on his lap and immediately began petting it. Yes. A true sucker. He scritched under its chin, and behind the ears and everywhere. He looked over and smiled at Miyako again. This still almost felt surreal. But he was happy. He had his cousin back.... and a kitty. He had no idea who Hibiki, Muika or Iyuki were. But it sounded like they were her friends so he'd need to ask about them.
"Well. I took a test and joined the school for it. It was... I mean... Sorta." It wasn't, really, but he didn't like saying that... "And I actually work in the library... Er.. Y'know... sort of... head of the library." He muttered the last part slightly, still trying to be humble. This was just so weird.
"Ah, what's this kitty's name?" He asked, about the cat in his lap. There were many more pressing issues but this one was literally in his lap.. so....

| Regalia soaked in her required love and affection, queen of all who met her as usual. Yes...yesss under the chiiin. Good servant... This one could be kept she felt.
"There's a school... You run the LIBRARY!? Aaah! That's soo cool. Whats your cool powers then? You are one of those super strong ones right?" Miyako bounced on her legs, just glowing with pride and happiness at this point as he answered, unable to accept him being humble. Her hand went out and she ruffled his hair while giggling. Hideki had no reason to be all...all shy! She had been littler when he had left but it was fine! "You always were really smart."
"...You're gonna laugh but I promise we didn't name her. The name she was given is Her Royal Imperiousness Fluffelina K. Regalia the Third. We just call her Regalia... Or well I call her floofbutt and stuff, Hibiki just makes tsun sounds and she comes." Miyako laughed a bit sheepishly, but that sure was a mouthful to remember. Luckily one of them did... The floofy kitten seemed utterly pleased, rolling over and allowing him to pet her as he pleased. Now this was affection and adoration~
"Some weird woman who bought him an apartment, or well the kitten an apartment, she named her."

| "Y-yeah. Yeah!" He was trying to be humble but it was hard when she was so enthusiastic about it. "I.. I have, uh. Sort of, I'm.." He stumbled over himself to try and answer her questions, giggling himself. God, this was.. Well.. Weird, sort of. It's like he'd traveled in time. His little cousin was now his... even cousin. He was still 5 years older than her, but it didn't seem like it now..
"Uh... Th.. Thanks." He said with a grin. He'd show her his power later, but first there was a kitty introduction.
And what an introduction. "Fluffelina... the third?" He echoed a few parts of it. Wait, did she say we? Hibiki... Who was that? "Is Hibiki your.. boyfriend? H-holy crap. Does my little cousin have a live-in boyfriend?" He was shocked, though he was... not surprised? She was always very outgoing... Really it was the living on her own this young that shocked him more than anything... St-still... implications not withstanding, he was happy for her!
Unless he was a sleaze, then he would die!
"Hm?" A strange woman brought the cat and named her.. "Th.. This woman... What did she look like?" He just... had a suspicion.

| Miyako, as usual, pushed aside all the sadness and unhappy thought and instead for now focused on just the joy of having her cousin back. If he was a shinigami then he was definitely doing really well! He was doing well in the afterlife...
She could accept that and it seemed well that he was doing more than well. He was thriving. "Welcome... I'm just happy that you are good. I-I guess its a little weird but I'm just happy you seem okay. And yes. I...seriously please just call her Regalia otherwise her ego will get larger."
If that cat's ego got any bigger...
The kitten ignored such slander and lies. She had no ego, this was all just what she deserved.
"Yeah! He's probably who you are here to see actually... He's the fullbringer, I'm just a hispec. A-And yes. We just got this place... I'm eighteen now, not little! I-It made sense to move in, with things... He can definitely afford it and I'd need somewhere to live when I go to university in march." She felt the need to explain, turning red as Hideki seemed shocked. "H-His name is Hibiki Ikehara, but he goes by... Aito Yoshioka if you needed that name?"
If it was that other woman she might not know his real name...
"...Well I dunno what she looked like. I never met her. But she turned into a dog I think I remember him saying. Also she was really fancy and stuff, some sort of noble. Also she had large boobs? Miyako tried to remember any descriptions Hibiki had said and looked up, her finger on her lips as she thought about that. She remembered him explaining why he was called a boobist by that woman who had forced him to play with her... And if she had helped Hibiki then she must have been one of the reasons.

| Hideki giggled, petting the cat. It was still just.. nuts... He'd come here to find some fullbringer and just... wow... Not only did he see one of his closest relatives, but SURPRISE, against all odds she was a high spec which.. It had to mean he could maintain contact with her. Aoi had her fullbringer boyfriend and that was okay. Really, family was not something he'd thought... would really factor into the rest of his life...
"W-well... Sorry. If it wasn't obvious, we sort of.. age slower.. It doesn't feel like five years has passed, really." It really had sort of rushed by him in a lot of ways... The no aging didn't hurt.. "B-but as long as he's kind to you, he's probably great." He nodded. Miyako had always been such a nice person... he couldn't bear the thought of her being with someone meanspirited...
"A-Ah... With.. Ah.." Yes. That could be only one person. "She... W-well..." He raised a hand to rub his forehead awkwardly. "That's Yuzuki... She's... I mean... We're..." He wasn't sure what the correct terminology was here... courting? that sounded... But that was the most accurate.. "She's... my girlfriend?" He had this feeling that somewhere she suddenly began tsuning things...

| Ah yes this sucker knew just how to keep petting and talking. Some people could not do two things at once. It was deplorable. How dare they. This one was good, he could be kept around. Regalia purred up a storm on the man's lap.
"No sorry! I guess there are rules and stuff. You do look like you did back then, I guess I'm older than you now. Or well physically. Sorta. Miyako continued with a reassurance to her poor cousin though, giggling and waving off his words. "He's the sweetest Hideki! I swear, he's so adorable and sweet though he tries to hide his love of cute thing and can't resist them. He's also incredibly hot, I will not lie."
Miyako crossed her heart and blinked with solemnness after that speech. Hibiki was quite hot by many standards. There was the most important thing coming up though...
"Oh! Yuzuki... Yeah that was her name. ...Oh my god you are dating her!? Aaah! What's she look like? What's she like?! Is she cuddly in dog form? Do you get to rub the ears all the time?!" The important questions in life when your cousin was dating someone who turned into a dog. A fluffy dog. Hibiki had remembered that at least. "Wait she's some sort of noble? Does that mean you are going to be... Lord Hide?"
Snickers escaped her. | |

| There were rules... Which were the primary reason he hadn't ever contacted anyone... S-still... If he'd KNOWN she was spiritually aware... He didn't need to let them believe he was dead all this time.. WELL. Dead in the 'gone forever' sense anyway. Really, he barely classified himself as dead. His girlfriend had been BORN in the afterlife. That hardly seemed dead..
"W-well, hopefully I can meet him. I'm researching Fullbringers for a friend of mine who's dating one. She has.. all sorts of questions." Her questions were sort of... morbid... And she was kind of scary lately... But Aoi was still the same person he'd known, on... at least most levels. Still, this Hibiki sounded nice. His eye twitched ever so slightly at the description of him as 'hot' though.
"U-um... She's... She's really pretty... with really long beautiful white hair. Yellow eyes... uh.." She'd... She'd already mentioned the boobs. He balked a bit at the question about petting her in dog form. "Th-That's classified!" He said quickly, putting his hand out. Even put on the spot, he still laughed, happy to be having even an awkward conversation with Miyako.

| "He'll definitely meet you then. I can send him a message, especially since you are my cousin I'm sure he'll answer anything you need. I can translate Tsun for you too! Don't tell him I said that. He hates being called Tsun." She smiled and brought her hands up, making air quotes. "He's just 'quiet'."
"Oh wow that sounds cool, like really gorgeous too. So her eyes are like yours... Heeeey how come! Wait are her ears..." Miyako flushed and looked away, assuming the ears were some sort of weird doggirl zone of things she didn't want to think about her cousin doing with anyone. That must be why he was embarrassed and she laughed too, waving it off. "Fine fiiine. Anything not classified? I wanna hear about your girlfriend~ And everything! Hibiki's been there, sorry I talk a lot but he's more experienced in all this stuff. But whats it all life? Isn't it all olden times? Oh and here."
Miyako rifled for her phone in her jacket, she liked wearing it even in the house and she pulled it out only to swipe it. The background was Hibiki sitting there, his finger up to his lip and lifting one corner for her. She'd surprised him with this picture. "Have a picture of 'Biki. He has trouble smiling so he does that cute thing to show me when he wants to smile but can't!" She wondered if shinigami had pictures they could share.

| Hideki laughed. "I appreciate that. Though I can speak some Tsun myself. Yuzuki is... Y-yeah... Tsun is a good word for her.. Heh.." He gave an awkward chuckle. "Though the dialect might be different, so I'll appreciate your translating!"
He blinked once or twice, as she reacted all... blushy and weirded out to to the... N-nO! NO NO NO, it wasn't anything like that! He let her finish and looked at the phone. "Aww. That's cute." He agreed. Well, he seemed nice if... maybe a little dour. "A-and there's nothing weird or a-anything. She just... gets very tsun about how happy she acts as a dog so I just... don't talk about it much."
"B-but yeah. She's a noble. And... it uh... some areas are like that, yeah... Less so in the Seireitei where I live. And I can come here for whatever I want, so... Uh... I've actually been keeping up on video games and stuff." He answered a little bashfully.

| "...We both like tsuns. I think thats a sign we are definitely related." Miyako rolled her eyes, amused but also just happy for Hideki. He would do well being able to adore someone who would soak up that love like a sponge! "I'll try! He's sullen and quiet Tsun, though he's got a cocky temper when someone makes him angry. What's yours like?"
What kind of Tsundere did Hideki have...? Miyako wondered. Least he said the man was cute and Miyako smiled at the acceptance. She was avoiding all sorts of important and vital things, due mostly to just wanting to be happy right now with this miracle. "Aaah. So its like a trigger for super tsun and thus you're trained to not do it! I see."
"Reaaally? Ah I am behind myself, school and all this new spirit stuff has me too busy now..." Hideki was probably up on these newer games than her then and she looked sheepish, but grinned. "Some areas though... So you are a big powerful Shinigami, you are going out with a pretty Tsun Noblewoman... And you can play all your games! Things sound pretty awesome for you Hide!"
It really was good to hear and focus on... Not that he... Died... Miyako teared up a bit again, her sniffled returning at that thought as she gave him quivery otter eyes. "S-So...now that I know you are alive, sorta, am I not allowed to see you after this anymore?"

| Hideki giggled. He wanted to smart ass that their parents being siblings made them related, but he was much too happy to smart ass right now. "Mine is.. she's... She's nice.. and sweet... she just gets defensive when it's noticeable which is... always." He grinned just thinking about it. "And she's not as good at hiding her feelings as she thinks.." He felt all warm and gooey just thinking about it, but shook that off. Now was time for family sappiness, not girlfriend sappiness!
He was eager to talk to her about... games and Yuzu and the library and all of that, but.. there was something way more pressing. As Miyako seemed like she was about to start crying again, he scooted over, wrapping her in a hug. "Nope. Because you're special." He said, squeezing her tightly. "There's no reason to stay secret from spiritually aware. One of my friends even has a human girlfriend. There's no way on earth or soul society or any dimension that they can keep me from my favorite cousin when there's no good reason to." Hideki felt his eyes get the slightest bit watery and he sniffed. Oh god. No no. She was contagious!

| The pretty Tsun sounded nice... Miyako wanted to meet her and smiled as she nodded. "Aaah thats amazing! I wanna meet her. You'll have to show her off sometime soon then..."
However she wasn't able to focus on his girlfriend too much before those feelings she had pushed back overflowed once he hugged her. She wrapped her arms around him and held him tightly.
"Y-You were all gone! I was... Uncle is still... Mom and Dad... Chiyo! She's gotten so...um she's gotten older!" Miyako sniffled more as she clung to Hideki, shaking her head as she couldn't in good faith lie to the shinigami and tell him her sister had grown so much when she's barely grown at all really... She was still a tiny little thing...
She still played full contact sports and won... The tiniest lil Lacrosse Queen...
"I can't tell em can I? None of them... More secrets! I am the worst at thiiiis." Miyako wailed softly. "I'm your first cousin you can't call me favorite! You got into a stupid hit and run and left me and Chiyo behind and everyone... Hideki, its not okay! I missed you."
Oh no, now all her feelings were spilling over and the kitten that was displaced by Hideki's movements just gave them both a look and wandered off. Regalia didn't like tears, it meant snuggles into her fur and messing it all up. Ugh.
"We all miss you!" | |

| Hideki frowned, shaking his head while she clung to him. She.. She needed to stop. She needed to stop getting all worked up or HE'D get worked up. He sniffed again. "It. I.. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry." He said, feeling dumb tears starting to flow. He smiled and laughed, immediately sniffling again when Miyako mentioned her sister.
"I know... I miss you all too. I do... I'm really sorry." He squeezed her tighter. "I... I don't know... I didn't even know I could talk to YOU until a minute ago when you mentioned ghosts... and I'll probably still need to clear that with someone though I'm not too worried." It'd probably be Masaru... he seemed understanding. "B-but you can't tell anyone for now... I.. I dunno... We can maybe figure something out, but for right now, you can't tell anyone or they might decide that keeping in touch with you won't work."
He would have squeezed her tighter if he wasn't worried about hurting her. "And I at least can talk to you again. I won't risk messing that up."

| "Its okay! I just... I'm venting." Miayko sniffled strongly, her tears pouring out. She'd always cried easily in happiness or sadness but had recently gotten a bit better... Due in part...to severe trauma... But... he missed them too and that set off little choked sobs. Hideeekiiii was baaack!
That was news to her, that he could talk to her because she could see ghosts... She almost wanted to see his face so she could absorb all of this. But he held her quite securely and she held him back, not intending to pull away just yet. "O-Oh okay... That's really okay, we can just... keep it all secret. I won't tell anyone! But Hibiki is safe right? You wanted to talk to him? I-I still gotta message him."
She would feel miserable keeping this from Hibiki... but the rest... while it would be awful, it wasn't like she was being entirely honest with them anyways.
"I can keep it secret, I've gotten way better at that. They don't know about my powers yet... or Hibiki's. Or anything..." Miyako sighed softly, but did have a small smile on her face as he squeezed her. Hideki was still her cousin, still her silly cousin! He hadn't really changed at all, though there was something different about him. He was...more secure in himself?

| Hideki after enough squeezing hesitantly pulled back, smiling at his cousin and reaching up to wipe his tears off on his forearm. Okay. No more crying. He shook his head to try and chase the crying feelings off, before scooting back a bit on the couch. "W...W-well we'll keep it secret for now... Just... I'll need time to feel out the situation." He frowned for a moment. "I... I mean... if I can let my dad know I'm okay, obviously I want to.." He said before looking up and giving a sheepish little smile, rubbing the back of his head. He didn't want to ruin the happy flow they were having.
"A-And yeah, I just wanted to ask him about Fullbringer stuff. If he knew more about how they worked. Our library has surprisingly little information. And what we have can be hard to find. We have electricity in the seireitei, but our databases are really terrible. I'm thinking about trying to start digitizing the library although.." He sighed. "That'll probably take like... few hundred years... Heh..."

| Miyako reached up to wipe her hands on her eyes, rubbing them a bit too strongly in a way that was sure to leave her bleary eyed for a while. The tears wouldn't stop though even as Hideki moved backwards to try and give them both space for happier thoughts. She kept sniffing, moving to rub her nose too as she opened her eyes again to watch her cousin. It was more like staring, absorbing seeing him alive again.
"I-I can...tell him if you want. My power is really really easy to prove so.. I could...explain to him things when you need me to. If that's... better?" She'd want to help in any way, especially for Uncle. The large kitten came by for a test now that the main tears had stopped, Miyako nabbing her and pulling her into her lap for snuggles. Regalia pretended to tolerate it while purring up a happy storm.
"Oh there are pamphlets from Muika's work over there if you want to read up on it a bit. If you want more personal stuff you'd have to ask him... His power is a gun, it runs on his spiritual energy." Miyako nodded as she let Hideki know a bit more, attempting to focus on things other than sobbing. It was hard but she smiled and latched onto the topic of digitizing a giant library, clasping her hands with a suitably awed expression that was no lie. "Wow that would be awesome! You'll have to tell me how it goes... Haha, well just a decade or two really. I had heard it was all old and stuff but sheesh. You'd think they'd want to update things."
"Let me send him a message... He might be able to leave work early." Wrangling her arms around hte adoring fuzzbutt, she reached for her phone to send a text to her boyfriend.
