Oh bby : D

Anyone walking by the Captain's Office in Squad 2 that day would find a fairly usual mix of sights.  People milling about, or running if they were on more critical work.  A solid mixture of mission control operatives who seemed to entirely burden themselves with the stress of the field operatives, who mostly casually waited around for assignments.  Not to mention a few clerks who needed to submit paperwork on all of their missions.

Then there was the small collection of girls gathered at a portion of the fence around the Captain's personal training yard.  There hadn't been a fence there when he'd become the captain, but it was necessary for privacy.  Privacy these girls seemed intent to defy.

"Move.. Lemme see."
"I can't see anything, lift me higher."
"Is his shirt off?"
"I can't tell unless you lift me HIGHER."
"Moooove, I can't seeeee!"
"I SAID, is his SHIRT off!"

The continued to clamor.  Meanwhile, inside, Isaac was practicing some new techniques, namely trying to see if he could break a piece of rock loose from the ground, mark it with his zanpakuto and then use Hado to send it flying at a target.  It wasn't very practical, but if he could master it, maybe...

So far though, all he'd done was blow some new potholes in the training yard.... It might be easier to aim if he didn't have people whispering over there, though...

12th Division Lieutenant Yukari Motou was grumpy. And as she approached the headquarters of the 2nd Division with a large box of assorted goods in her hands, she was slowly growing towards Super Grump. First of all, she was in the middle of a really good breakthrough with a certain explosive compound that she'd been enjoying recently when she was interrupted by Alex asking her if some "Captain Isaac" had come by and picked up his scheduled delivery.

Well, he hadn't. And seeing as how the Captain was busy, it was up to Yukari to deliver the box of sensitive materials straight to the 2nd Division itself. If not obvious already, Yukari was not pleased at this turn of events.

"Don't know why we can't just... push it off onto one of our seat members to do this..." She grumped, nearing the Squad's main building. "But nooooo... It's gotta be me. 'Highly important materials' he says, 'Can't trust anyone else for the job', weehhh..." Yukari sighed deeply as she adjusted the box in her arms a bit to make it more comfortable as she passed... a rather large gathering of young girls huddled around a fence. Some of them even holding each other on their shoulders...

"Well. That's... weird? But also not my problem, so woooooo..." She stood near the Captain's office and looked around with a nonplussed expression on her face as she tried to track down Captain Isaac. I know this guy's the head of the black ops division, but he can't be THAT hard to track down in his own division... right? She really hoped that he wasn't. For her poor bomb's sakes.

Isaac sighed, continuing to have issues. He had it mostly down, he just wasn't good enough at Hado to properly propel the rock at the target. He continued a few more times, before noticing someone was coming, sensing the reiatsu signature approaching his office. Frustrated that he'd have to quit practicing and lose his groove (although his current lack of results seemed to suggest he didn't have one), he detonated the next rock outright, not bothering to fling it.

He sighed and walked over to the intercom. His training ground was connected directly to his office, so he could more easily keep the.... well, let's be honest. The Riff raff out. Deciding he might need a minute to clear his head anyway, he walked over to the wall of his training yard that was formed by the office building and pressed an intercom button.

"Come on through. Just go out the back door of the office." He said, before walking over to the cooler, filled with ice, water and beer, he had on the ground. He staked his Zanpakuto firmly into the ground and picked up a bottled water. Hopefully it wasn't anything serious.

Or, someONE important, he thought, glancing at the field. It was one big exploded mess...

Oh my gooooood who cares if he has his shirt off, girls... I just wanna deliver this package and get back to my lab you have no idea what I'm missing out on right no-

And then the explosion happened. And Yukari suddenly became very invested in whatever it was that was happening on the other side of that fence. So much so that she shoved the box into one of the poor girl's hands and began trying to look over the fence herself. "C'mon, let me see, let me see!" Curse these high walls! Maybe if she used her Zanpakuto to launch herself over to wall directly in there...

A thought that was proven unnecessary when the loudspeaker came on, announcing the directions for Yukari to just enter through the back door. While she was a little bit disappointed that she couldn't just... explode herself over the wall, (actually really disappointed), she sighed and picked the box back out of the girl's hands and made her way towards the door. At closer inspection, there was even a reddish tinge to her cheeks as well.

"Alright, just deliver the package, and you can go back. Deliver the package... And ask where that wonderful explosion came from..." Yukari said with a dreamy sigh. The door itself was easy to find, and with just a turn of the knob and a step inside, Yukari was in. "Um, Captain Isaac, right? Yukari Motou with the 12th, I'm here to deliver your order?" And check out your explosion and check out your explosion

Isaac felt like he might have heard a voice slightly louder than the usual bunch, turning his head, as if he could see through or over the fence. Hrm.. That was odd... But he didn't pay it too much mind. At worst, it was a new recruit, who wanted to see the captain. He sighed, impatiently waiting for the package to get here. He raised a hand to dust a bit of exploded soot from the T-shirt he was wearing.

He turned to see the girl... No... woman? She certainly looked young, but... not like a young person. More like an older (for a certain sense of the word) person with youthful features. He nodded, walking over. He would have introduced himself, but she seemed to know his name already. "Yeah. Thanks." He said simply. He extended his hand to shake hers, before realizing it too was covered in blast marks and tried to dust them off on his pants.

"Sorry. Training isn't going well." He said with a grim little smile.

Yukari's eyes quickly snapped to the several craters littering Isaac's training field. It was... magical. And hearing that explosion that just happened, he must have been doing this for a while... Oh why didn't Alex send me out here earlier?! I missed everything. Doesn't he know how important proper voyeur- examinations are?

The tinge of red on her cheeks remained, mostly because she was so caught up in inspecting the craters that she missed half of what Isaac said. "Huh? Oh yeah! No problem." She offered the box to him, her eyes soon catching the soot and blast marks on his own clothing. Oh yeah... He's been doing some good exploding out here... Dammit dammit dammit why did I miss it?! "To be perfectly honest I don't know what Captain Alex's got in this box, but it must have been pretty important if he said only I can deliver it."

That part of her job over, Yukari began looking Isaac and his training field again, her eyes studying it intensely. "So uh... What kinda training have you been doing here? It looks... good. Real good. I mean uh, from a purely scientific stance, of course." Yes. Science. Totally what's on her mind right now.

He looked from his outstretched hand to the box she was holding out and took it with a slight sigh. Like all the other officers, he'd had a brief dossier on Ms. Mouto. The woman seemed to have a particular penchant for explosives. He glanced at the field she seemed so taken with. Mm. She was probably interested by this then.

"Just something I wanted to see if he could whip up for some field ops." He said, not wanting to go spouting off too much information. She'd already provided a subject changer for him though. "Hm?" He turned to look at the field. Well he was training, of course. Well... She probably didn't know what his zanpakuto did.

"Training." He said before pulling his zanpakuto out of the ground. Hrm, she had a scientific curiosity in these explosions? Well... He could show her, he guessed. He walked over to the middle of the training area and placed the sword's tip on the ground. He squeezed the trigger-like handle that ran along the hilt and as he dragged the sword, a glowing red line appeared on the ground. He walked a distance away after drawing the line and triggered it.

A fairly decent sized explosion promptly erupted along the line. He turned back to Yukari. "My Zanpakuto uh... explodes things."

“Y-Yeah, training…” Yukari said offhandedly, her eyes sloooowly moving back over to the slightly destroyed training ground that Isaac had been training in. Judging by all of the craters and their blast radius, there must have been something really nice going on here.

Were they testing distraction explosives? A new breaching charge? Maybe practicing dodging explosives? Oh, my mind’s just racing with all the possibilities and I don’t know what I should fantas-think about. Focus Yukari, focus. We don’t need to have another incident like back at the Academy. She shivered slightly as she brought her attention back to Captain Isaac who was now walking back across the training field with his Zanpakuto in his hand.

She hurriedly put on the safety goggles that were hanging around her neck and whipped out her clipboard just as he drew some sort of glowing red line on the ground. Then he stepped away from his work and-

Oh. Oh yeaaaaaaaaah…

There was a sharp intake of air from the 12th Division Lieutenant as she gasped softly, and hand flying up to her cheek as the explosion settled. Her eyes glowed with a sort of primal excitement as her face grew red, no thanks to the heat from the explosion itself. “It… does make explosions…” She said breathlessly. Her eyes lingered on the settling smoke as she let out a content sigh, seemingly forgetting where she was at the moment. “Oh Captain, where have you been this whole time…”

Isaac slung his zanpakuto over his shoulder, holding it there loosely and walking back to the lieutenant. He paused briefly, noticing she was acting... odd. He glanced back at the recently exploded ground. Well, she did like explosions. Or maybe it had startled her? She definitely looked thrown off of her game.

"Hm? I've been... here? Was it hard to find me?" He asked, tipping his head ever so slightly. "My apologies, I was supposed to come pick the package up myself, but I was trying something new with my Zanpakuto and lost track of time." He absentmindedly scratched the back of his head, feeling apologetic.

"Sorry, I don't want to keep you. I hear you're all really busy in R&D." She may love explosions, but she probably had work to do. He didn't want to waste her time here all day.

"Eh?!" Yukari looked back at Isaac, slightly shocked. OH CRAP. Did I say that out loud, dammit Yukari dammit! Keep your bomb-hormones in check around a Captain you've only met once! "Uhhh, no I meant that uh... Sorry. Just kinda blurted out something there, forget about it!"

She cleared her throat and stood up straighter as Isaac walked by her, trying to draw her attention away from herself for the moment. Just have to... not think about that beautiful displa-DAMMIT

"I mean uh, I don't... have anything else to do? So I..." Yukari took a few steps closer to Isaac, her fingers rubbing a small circle on her clipboard that she kept at her side. "Wouldn't mind if you showed off a little more of your Zanpakuto. For science reasons, of course." She kept her eyes off of Isaac's, her face turned enough so that hopefully he couldn't see the blush on her cheeks that was still prominent.

Yeah... There we go. Good on the rebound, Yukari. He'll never suspect a thiiiiiing. Just get plenty of research here and take it back to the lab for 'testing'. Awww yeaaahhh...

Isaac crossed his arms, eyes narrowing into something approaching a glower. He wasn't upset, just a little confused by how she was acting. Was something the matter? He'd been getting better about being more... perceptive of women and signs of attention from them, but his mind was a little too closely focused on training at the moment to pick up on it from Yukari.

Hm? "Ah." He took a half step back. She wanted to watch him train? His eye darted warily towards the wall where the girls usually tried to gather. She wasn't.... No, no. She was an explosion nut, was all. She was a lieutenant and, well... She was a lot more mature, he was sure that she wasn't interested in, well... oggling him. The thought made him quickly clear his throat, averting a blush himself.

"I don't see why not. Anything in particular you wanted to see? I can show you what I've been working on, actually..." He said, springing up a little and over to a safe distance. He showed her the trick he'd been practicing all day, flinging up a rock, injecting it, blasting it with some Hado and...

It flew way off target, across the area before exploding midair, the explosion leaving trails that stretched towards the fence.

Isaac sighed. Really it was just his aim at this point.

Ah craaaaap, he looks angry... Did he really hear what I said? Crap Yukari, crap crap cra- Her worried thoughts were quickly interrupted by Isaac's acceptance of her watching him. Yes? YES!

"Oh! Um, nothing in... particular. Just, you know. I wanna watch it all." She quickly found herself a seat where she could oggl-observe the explosions without any distractions and placed her safety goggles over her eyes. Her clipboard was now fully pulled out and in her hands as she brought pen to paper in order to properly record the wonderful data that she so desperately wanted.

Between the explosions, of course.

She watched with bated breath as Isaac did his whole, 'rock in air then boom' trick, her eyes focused so very carefully on his Zanpakuto and subsequent explosion that came from it. Precise application of explosive and then a launch into the air, and then that blast pattern... A small shiver went up Yukari's spine as she bit the end of her pen.

Oh Yukari, you just hit the jackpot...

Isaac took note that she wanted to see the extent of his zanpakuto... Well... he could only show so much... his bankai tended to get erm... messy... he didn't want to wipe out half his squad... He usually only trained with that in the woods. Not that it took MUCH training. It was a lot simpler than his shikai. He glanced back to see if his technique had satisfied her only to see her eagerly wanting more.

"Hrm.." Okay.. He didn't normally like to show off, but well... it was nice to have someone watching him train who actually wanted to see his zanpakuto at work. He took a deep breath. Here we go. He stepped into the middle of the training dummies and began slashing at them. With each slash, he held the handle down, creating a red line, which he triggered, creating an explosive line along the slash before repeating. He'd gotten it down quick enough that he didn't seem to need to go any slower than his regular slashing to do this.

After working into a rhythm with this, he decided to show off... just a little.... and thrust the zanpakuto into one of the dummies, holding the handle down. Slowly, the entire dummy turned bright red before he removed the sword and pulled the trigger, erupting the dummy outright.

He wiped the bit of sweat he'd worked up off his brow and walked back over to her. "Could you hand me a bottle?" He asked, gesturing to the water. "I'd show you the bankai, but it's... too dangerous, really."

Yukari was settled in her seat as Isaac stepped in the middle of the practice ring, his Zanpakuto drawn briefly before he began slicing each of the dummies. They glowed with a brief red like before exploding spectacularly with such a precise application that it was almost art. To Yukari. It was also several more things to Yukari that didn't need to be mentioned in polite company.

And then he sliced again. And another explosion. And then again. And again. She let out a little gasp at each and every dummy explosion, her face flushing anew with each demonstration of Isaac's Zanpakuto. It's... beautiful. Explosive, but precise and with plenty of... boom. Her pen rested against her lips as she watched him intently, her pretense for taking notes now fully gone as she enjoyed what she saw.

And he had to go and show off, the dummy exploding in an even more spectacular fashion than the others. Her mouth formed a small "O" as she pulled her clipboard close to her chest. Her eyes sparkled with... something not very family friendly as she shakingly got to her feet to fetch the Captain some water. "H-Here you are..." If Yukari's face was red before he left to practice, it was practically burning hot now.

"You um, know... If you think it's too dangerous for h-here we can always... You know, go back to my lab. I've got a good area for... testing, if you want." Her eyes lingered on his sword for a few seconds before looking back up at him. "Or if you don't want to walk that far, there's always the woods, you know?"

Yukari's body was buzzing with excitement as soon as he said it was dangerous, the foolish captain not knowing what kind of a switch he had flipped in the Lieutenant. The poor man...

When Isaac had left, Lt. Motou had seemed odd. Now she seemed downright strange, a weird little expression and sparkling eyes and her face was.. was red... Isaac scratched the back of his head, taking the water and gulping some down before handing it back. "Thank you." He didn't know why she was looking at him like that..

"Uh.. The.. Or ah.." On some level, Isaac had to recognize her reactions for what they were, but that part was still intent on hiding far, faaar away from his conscious mind. "Well.." The woods were a lot closer... but he didn't want to start a fire, or knock a tree over on the lieutenant... "I mean..." He was going to say that her lab would probably get destroyed, but didn't she test explosives mainly? She probably had a facility designed for that sort of thing. He glanced at his sword.

"Yeah, I suppose I'm not busy. I could demonstrate at your lab." He said with a nod.

Yes. Yesss. Yessssss...

"R-Right, we um, should probably head over there now. Before I cool o- Before anything else comes up and we have to call this short." Yukari quickly corrected herself, her eyes darting back towards the exit to the training grounds and back over to Captain Isaac. "Just follow me, Captain. I'll get you where you need to be." In my lab In MY lab IN MY LAB

She practically dragged Isaac out of the training field, the box she was sent there to deliver instantly forgotten as her thoughts were now focused solely on  getting Isaac and his sword alone somewhere where no-one could hear them... And that's not even an innuendo. This time. Sure Yukari's Zanpakuto exploded things perfectly fine, but Isaac's just did it in such a wonderful new way~

So she rushed out the door, past the throngs of his admirers still probably trying to catch a peek of their Captain, past any poor bystanders foolish enough to stand in her way as she made her way to the 12 Division headquarters with Isaac in tow.

I neeeeeed this~

"H-Huh?" Right now... Well... He looked back at the field... he should finish up here or... or... okay... they were going then.. He sheathed his sword, stumbling along as she in fact, did practically drag him away. "W-Wait.." He protested, leaning over and pulling a beer out of the cooler. "Okay." He could go now. Where did he need to be so bad? He was just showing her his bankai...

He finished the beer by the time they got to division 12, throwing it in a garbage can and hoping it wouldn't transform and attack him. Place was nuts.... and he was heading into her lab...

Holy shit, did she want to experiment on him? Or his explosions? It would explain her vested interest... He'd keep an eye out for that, but he was pretty sure he was safe. "So where's your lab?" He asked, glancing around.

Thankfully with Yukari's full speed running towards the Division headquarters, she and Isaac made it there in not time at all! And that made a very happy Yukari. She stopped dragging him along as soon as they got a large, windowless building off to the side of the main building, with no outwardly identifying marks. "It's here, my home away from home~" She quickly opened the door and pushed Isaac in side, her body brimming with energy.

"In, in, in!" She chanted, before closing the door behind them. The inside of the building was much more interesting to look at compared to the exterior. The walls were at one point in time a dull grey, but now marred with various blast marks of all shapes and sizes. Even ones on the ceiling as well, but none of them compared to the center of the floor.

It was like a still pond that someone had dropped a pebble into, except instead of ripples it was the stained soot and ash of hundreds and hundreds of explosions. Yet despite all of the marks, the lab was spotless. "Okay you just um... Go stand there in the middle of the floor, and I'll go make myself comfort-Ready. Make myself ready..."

Yukari gave Isaac one last longing look before dashing behind a door in the wall of the lab, where she quickly returned with a pair of scratched up safety goggles on her face and a fresh clipboard. And of course her face was as pleadingly red as ever. "Okay Captain Isaac, you can start whenever you'd like!~ Or you know, practice a bit like you were at the field first, whatever floats your boat." Yukari's fingers were rubbing a hole in the back of her clipboard as she stared at Isaac, just waiting for him to begin.

"Oh, and you don't have to worry about holding back or anything, these walls can take a real beating. Not to mention they're soundproof! They had to be after I got some... noise complaints." She said with a bit of a pout.

Isaac took a moment to quickly catch his breath. For a scientist, she sure could run.. He was still in the middle of catching it when she pushed him inside. "H-Hey. Hey!" He stumbled forward, too thrown off to stone wall her like he might have otherwise. "All right, all right!" He walked in with a sigh. What was the big deal about a-

"Huh." He looked around the lab. He walked deeper in, turning to look at the tapestry of blast markings. He could recognize what, or generally close to what, had caused some of them. Most were a mystery, however. He supposed he'd be adding a few more... Hrm. He'd never practiced in a blast chamber.. .He supposed he could test it out.

"Sure thing." He said, getting his zanpakuto out and standing in the middle of the room. He waited for her to get back and ready to record the results before nodding. Well... He was glad they were soundproof.

"Bankai!" He shouted, energy pulling into his blade before his entire figure seemed to go dark as if a silhouette. Then that silhouette glowed bright white and erupted, producing more light than force, but exploding nonetheless. When the dust cleared, Isaac was standing there, the triggers and handles gone from his sword, which was now black and looked... like it was made of something maybe besides metal, though still sharp.

"Might as well just get going." He muttered to himself before slinging the sword into the ground. It immediately produced a sizeable explosion. He followed up by slashing it a few times at the air in front of him, propelling some more blasts into the walls of the place, which he promptly ran over to and pounded the zanpakuto against. The blasts' power was... fitting for such a straightforward zanpakuto, which is to say that they exploded REAL good. Isaac had nothing to fear himself... as long as he was holding the zanpakuto, that is.

While most proper ordinance testing procedures would suggest standing behind some sort of barricade before and explosions happened, Yukari was too dedicated for such trivial matters. So instead she stood only a few meters away from the center of the training floor as she waited excitedly for the Captain to do his thing.

Okay Yukari, gotta take good notes this time. Gotta focus. Must not… get too distracted with the explosions to write about the explosions. She tried to reassure herself. She brought him here under the guise of scientific research, after all. It’d be a shame to not have a little bit of something come out of it. But then Isaac unleashed his Bankai.

At first it didn’t look like much, he just grew darker. But then he… he exploded! The light nearly blinding her as her grip on her clipboard grew tighter and tighter. When everything had settled, the Captain stood there looking only slightly different. But Yukari could tell the difference that had been made all the way from her spot away from him. Her eyes grew wide, her heartbeat began going faster and her flush returned in full force.

Oh… Yeah…

It totally didn’t help when Isaac thrust his sword into the ground, filling the large chamber with a very respectable explosion that caused Yukari to bite her lip softly as she admired it. And she admired it. And then came the follow-up slashes, each delectable explosion sending a shiver down the Lieutenant’s spine and loosening her grip on the clipboard.

Nonono, Yukari… Both hands on the board, both hands on the board… But oh GOD they’re so good. Such a naughty Bankai, Captain Isaac~ Surely he wouldn’t be… too mad if I… forget my notes this time, r-right?

Isaac had to admit how good it felt to cut loose with his Bankai. He was definitely getting into it. Not the same way the Lieutenant was, but he was blissfully unaware of that, now more than ever. He looked at the walls and smirked, deciding to test just HOW durable they were. He backed away from the wall and propped the sword on his other arm to aim before thrusting, each thrust seemed to fire like a cannon shell at the wall before erupting.

He followed it up by slashing at the wall, still from a distance, his sword scraping on the ground so it kicked up rolling explosions that slammed into it. Definitely worked into a bit of a fever at this point, Isaac finished up by darting to the wall on one side of the room and then proceeded to shunpo around the room, dragging his zanpakuto the entire way, causing.... most of the blast chamber to explode...

Assuming Yukari's lab withstood the blast, the lieutenant, though safe from being exploded herself, might very well be knocked over by the shockwave from the last one.

Yes… Yes… YES! Yukari’s heart was practically pounding in her ears as Isaac let loose with his Zanpakuto, her entire body growing hot (and not just because of the blasts of fire coming from the explosions) as she watched his every single move that he made. Every slash of his blade, every thrust, swipe, hit… It was all just what Yukari needed to see. Along with her other needs. The ground shuddered with every blast of his Bankai, and her body shuddered along with it.

“Oh sweet merciful heavens... I’d let him be my Captain a-any day…” Her breath got caught in her throat as he dragged his sword on the ground, sending rolling explosions around the room as he moved faster and faster with his sword strikes, several of them even cracking the walls of the chamber at the impact points. One of her hands had already liberated itself from the clipboard despite her best efforts to control herself. It found itself distracted with something else while Isaac wound himself up for his big finale.

“Yes… Don’t… L-Leave me hanging, Isaac~” Her eyes had grown wide with anticipation as he ran to one side of the chamber, then jumped off, dragging his Zanpakuto along the wall with him. Then came the Shupo, and then the even bigger explosion that rocked every inch of the chamber.

Yukari was… preoccupied, so when the final shockwave flew in she was thrown on her back. She let out a cry that was more of surprised joy than any kind of pain as she landed on the ground, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she tried to catch her breath. Meanwhile, the lab itself had definitely seen better days. Parts of the walls had large, winding cracks in them, especially where Isaac had dragged his Zanpakuto against the surface. Even part of the ground had broken and left parts of it sticking up like little bits of rubble.

But the building still stood it's ground. A little reconstruction and a coat of paint or two and it'd be as good as new! Until Yukari did more testing in it again.

Isaac's breath was a little ragged itself, for entirely different reasons than Yukari's. He wiped his arm across his forehead, definitely sweating now. He looked at his zanpakuto and resealed it, putting it away and looking around. "Well.." He had a little self satisfied grin on his face. "Wonder if they heard THAT outside." He mumbled to himself, before looking back and seeing Yukari on the ground. "Uh-oh." He jogged over, dropping onto one knee as he approached.

"Are you okay?" She didn't look injured, though it could be internal. She was definitely out of sorts, going by the erm... breathing. He would have probably blushed if he wasn't worried for her safety. "I went way too overboard, I'm sorry. Did one of the blasts catch you?" He asked, worried. He really would be in trouble if he exploded somebody... Especially an officer.

"And erm... sorry about your lab..."

Yukari's breathing didn't really die down as she laid down on her back. And as soon as Isaac was close enough the second most apparent thing about her was her face, which had a dreamily content look on it, despite the bright blush on her cheeks.

But then again Isaac wouldn't have too much time to look at most of her, because as soon as he kneeled down to get a better look at her, Yukari wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down on to her, crushing her lips against his as her hand gripped his hair roughly. After a few seconds, she pulled her face away from his, her breathing heavy as she bored her eyes into his.

"Oh, I'm more than okay, Captain~ I'm doing absolutely fiiiiiiine..." She giggled playfully as her fingers played in his hair. "Better than fine, in fact~ You certainly know how to show a girl a good time." Her other hand moved to his shoulder, as she moved her face closer to his.
