NPC Character Profiles

After discussing it for awhile, it's come to our attention that there are a decent many impacting NPC characters among various PC characters.

It can get rather cluttered in a PC's Profile to add in various NPC information, so we thought it would be a good idea that if you have a rather important NPC you'd like to put down information for it would be good to have a thread for it!

Not ALL NPC's you ever create have to go here, just if you feel you have one that requires more attention or has more importance but is not a major character, then go ahead and put them down for easy access to others if you plan on playing them!

Name: Seiya Nomura
(Name meaning: Seiya – sincere one; Nomura - Village in the field)
Age: 33 [At Death]

NPC To: Muika Okura / Hibiki Ikehara

Personality: Seiya comes off as kind and caring, acting as the only source of hope and happiness for Muika growing up. His true personality is that of nothing but pure evil. Manipulative, the type who will take advantage of anyone to get what he wants.

Appearance: Seiya has short, chin length, light caramel-colored hair; cut shorter in the back whereas his bangs are pushed to his right. Wears the standard white lab coat over a black, button up shirt. To match he wears black dress pants and shoes.

History: Seiya was one of the first people Muika met going into the Bell's Viper (temp name), as he was one of the doctors that worked on the injured or dying subjects.

Throughout the years, he was Muika's escape from the terrors of Bell's Viper's experiments. He treated her like a person, called her by her name instead of the number she'd been given (613), as names for the children did not matter. Muika had complete trust in him, as he showed her nothing but sincerity and kindness; even going as far to share his meals with her. When Muika turned thirteen, he'd given her the necklace she presently wears wrapped around her wrist; stating the color of the gem was beautiful on her and suited her perfectly. Muika had not once received a gift such as that, and treasured it the moment he'd given it to her.

After having been knocked unconscious in a forced battle, Muika awoke late into the night only to realize she'd been chained to her bed. It wasn't long after she woke that Seiya had entered the room. She felt relief at first, asking if what had happened and why she was chained up.

Seiya's true personality came alive then, as Muika slowly began to realize what was going on. Seiya had betrayed her. That night, Muika was broken; Seiya having stolen something from her that she would never get back. He'd betrayed her, leaving her in a broken mess in the aftermath of what had been done.

NPC To: Muika Okura

Personality: Iruka had a rather easy-going, loving personality, that was...until his wife died; after Kahori's death Iruka fell into depression and hardly spoke a word or responded to anyone that spoke to him. His depression had become so severe it was to the point of nearly ignoring his daughter's existence.

History: Iruka was a college professor that taught under the science and medical fields, and was widely renowned for his genius in the studies. He was known for being an excellent teacher, and great at handling his work and home life.

He loved his wife, Kahori, dearly and was quite the doting husband before his wife's eventual passing.

He eventually ended his own life by a shot to the head, found dead in his home and daughter missing.

Personality: Kahori was a rather outgoing, energetic woman, never liking to sit still for too long. She was friendly, and loving in nature towards her friends and family, and adored her husband and daughter immensely.

History: Muika's mother. She was a photographer, and always tended to carry around one of her cameras in case the opportunity for a good photograph arose, even ran a blog where she shared many of photos of her personal life such as cute pictures of her family along with information about various books her works were published in.

At the age of twenty-six, she was attacked by a hollow while on the job, leaving her death a mystery to authorities, and her family and was ruled a cold-case homicide.

Name: Ruka Aoyama

NPC To: Rin Aoyama

Personality: Ruka possesses a rather happy, and playful personality, and enjoys teasing Rin and those she considers friends.

Appearance: Rin's twin sister, she shares a resemblance with Rin, such as natural hair, and eye color, though she lacks the white locks of hair Rin's naturally does.

History: At the time of Rin's memory loss, Ruka was constantly by his side as support, the two of them were the only family they had left, and now share a close sibling relationship.

Despite having plenty of money due to Rin's job as an author, Ruka had various interests and therefore loves taking on multiple jobs to earn money to put away for the family.

Name: Jirou

NPC To: Hibiki Ikehara / Muika Okura / Iyuki Osamoto / Miyako Inoue

Personality: Jirou holds a rather quiet and grumpy nature, similar to Hibiki though somewhat milder. Has a love of food, meats especially, but will enjoy most anything given to him that isn't slop. Unsure of how to act overall now that he's not under the hold of Bell's Viper anymore, and therefore can come across as awkward at times. While quiet, he's not restricted to staying so and can become vocal when he feels the need, whether it's to state his grumpiness, how delicious food is, or if it's to offer verbal assistance to someone.

Appearance: Jirou is darker skinned, with brown medium-length hair; his bangs are messy, and a few locks of his hair flow down to the bottom of his neck due to a sloppy cut he'd been given at childhood upon being forced into Bell's Viper as a subject.

Spoiler:

History: Jirou only recalls his first name, having long forgotten his family's name after being taken in by Bell's Viper. At a young age, he was orphaned due to a boating accident with his parents who had drowned.

Jirou was near death when found, soaked to the bone after barely being able to swim to shore. He had lost consciousness at the time trackers found him and awoken a subject.

He often fought with Hibiki and Muika, but wasn't strong enough to defeat either.

Personality: Honami is rather outgoing, and bright; she loves traveling and socializing. She's a hard worker when it comes to her studies though, and is rather good at balancing her school and social life to function.

History: Honami was born six years before Ikue, and was a rather doting older sister, always willing to spend time with her sister and help her when it was needed. She didn't know how to react when Ikue claimed she was seeing things, thinking the girl was just playing a game with her due to her young age.

Now twenty-six, she is currently in the United States continuing with her studies; occasionally she'll send souvenirs to Ikue and her mother, along with letters.

Name: Nozomi
Age: Appears 7-8
Gender: Female

NPC To: Masaru Shirakawa

Personality: Nozomi is a polite, bright natured young girl that loves meeting and socializing with others. She holds a rather curious side to her as well, always willing to learn whether the subject matter is cooking or if it's noble or shinigami studies to prepare her for the future.

Appearance: Nozomi has long, black hair in a neat cut, and tends to dress in bright, pretty child's kimonos or yukatas due to living within the Shirakawa Clan's grounds. Her eyes are blue in color, much like the sky.

History: Nozomi was a resident of one of the rougher Rukon Districts from a young age, having died as a human as a toddler. She'd been taken in by a couple of other kids that were trying to survive the tough life within the Rukon before meeting Masaru.

The two became friends, and Nozomi saw him as a big brother figure, and loved spending time with him whenever he would come into the district. Shortly after Masaru's father passed, and he took over the clan's leadership, she was adopted into the family after accepting Masaru's offer of coming to live there.

Name: Mamoru Shirakawa
(Name Meaning: Mamoru - Protect; Shirakawa - White River)

NPC To: Masaru Shirakawa

Personality: Before Nozomi's passing, Mamoru was very kind natured though not overly so, making sure to be the responsible person his duties required him to be.  After her passing, he became cold and distance when it came to interacting with his son, though continued to mask that with his previous kind behavior in public.

Appearance: He has straight, black hair that goes just past his ears, his eyes are a dark shade of green.

History: Masaru's Father. When alive, he was a rather friendly captain, though reasonably strict to keep his subordinates at the top of their abilities. Was known for being kind-natured, and carried a smile at almost all times much like his son today.

After the passing of his wife, Nozomi Shirakawa, that kind nature became a mask to hide what he'd become. He had lost his sense of self, depression having enveloped his very being. His son fell victim to his abuse, having become much stricter with his son to the point of forbidding him from socializing, to occasionally keeping him from meals due to either being angry with him or overall just not wanting to look at him. Often resorted to violence with beatings against Masaru when in the privacy of the mansion.

Name: Nozomi Shirakwa

NPC To: Masaru Shirkawa

Personality: Nozomi was a kind woman, very doting towards her husband and son, and loved them both dearly. She tended to spoil the both of them with affection, and praise, and was always kind to those who came to see her.

Appearance: Nozomi carried an air of beauty, having long, black hair that flowed down past her waist, a contrast to her paler skin with bright blue eyes, giving her an almost doll-like appearance. She wore elegant kimonos, being of noble birth.

History: Nozomi was of noble birth, though her marriage with Mamoru was not arranged by their clan's. She wasn't a shinigami, and lived the life of Lady Shirakawa, keeping control over the household overall.

Her health was poor though, and eventually she succumbed to sickness and passed on.

Name: Tatsuo Miura
Age: ??
Gender: Male

NPC To: Kaimu Miura

Personality: Tatsuo had a friendly personality, though could be serious when necessary; overall, he was much more easy-going than his older half-brother. Was loving to all he held dear, such as Kaimu, his wife Haruki, and daughter Shiori.

Appearance: Tatsuo had medium-short silver hair that stopped at the nape of his neck at the back and messy bangs in the front; his eyes were a lighter green in color.

Spoiler:

History: Tatsuo was Kaimu's younger half-brother through their mother, the two of them stuck with their mother until the day she died; they became shinigami shortly after to support themselves, and live a better life than what the Rukon could offer them.

Centuries later, he married Haruki, one of the lower ranking noble women, and had a daughter together with her. It seemed almost sudden when he lost his mind during a mission, wreaking havoc within the Seireitei and killing many shinigami that tried to calm him along with his wife and daughter.

Kaimu, in attempt to save his brother, tried to stop him, but was unable to do so. Tatsuo was killed shortly after Kaimu fled the Seireitei.

Name: Riichi Ueno

NPC To: Narue Ueno

Personality: Riichi was caring in nature, and treated others kindly as if they were family to him. He was typically seen as a brother or father figure by others, as while he was very kind he could be strict when he needed to.

History: Riichi lived his life in the Rukon, a hefty majority of it; one night, he discovered a young girl, near-death and brought her home to treat her injuries. The girl was Narue, and he took her in and raised her as a younger sister. Due to her young age, he could not allow her to help considering he ran a bar.
A few years later, his bar was unfortunately set on fire by unknown assailants. Being unable to fit through the small window in the back area of the bar that he and Narue used as their home, he pushed Narue out to ensure her survival.

Much to his disbelief, he was also saved when he had fully believed he would perish, by none other than Naki. Now, he lives within her cave along with her and Alwin and is working as their housekeeper/maid.

Name: Takuya Osamoto
Age: 39

NPC To: Iyuki Osamoto
Personality: Outgoing, flirtatious, playful. Doesn't react well to surprises, tends to speak his mind and show his emotions outside. Can be tricky due to using the outgoing nature to hide a sharp and deadly mind honed from years of being part of that family.
Appearance: Looks far too young for his age, Late twenties at most and slightly over 6' in height. Long purple hair, a shade more red than his younger brother but only really noticeable when put next to each other. He keeps it done in various fashionable styles depending on how he feels. Dark blue eyes.

Spoiler:

History: The older brother to Iyuki and younger twin to Yuriko, he helps run certain aspects of the family business most aren't privy to. An underwear model that has been branching out into other fields in recent years, his face is much more in the public than the rest of the family and they use it to their advantage. Tends to travel a lot but has since settled near his younger brother due to the various issues in his life.

Minor fullbringer, powers never truly manifested ever but give him an aura of friendliness even when none exists to those without power.


Name: Himeko Osamoto
Age: 62
Gender: Female

NPC To: Iyuki Osamoto
Personality: Very very positive and upbeat to her family, frigidly cold and scary at work while her mind works out problems with ease. Not angry at all though, she's calm most of the time. The one thing that angers her is her lack of grandchildren. She is not getting older and she wishes babies to appear...
Appearance: Shorter than her children, she stands about halfway between 5 and 6 foot. Her hair is an icy lavender due to her age and normally pulled back somehow into a bun or ponytail. Her eyes are a piercing gray blue and she has quite a few laugh lines around her eyes and lips. She looks more in her forties though than her age, despite the soft hair color fading over the years.

History: Himeko eloped with a delinquent at about twenty years of age, having her twins at about twenty-two or twenty-three and a few short years later realized the man she married wasn't really the best for her or her for him. They divorced on amicable terms with Sozen getting the twins half of the time. She remarried in her thirties, a nice calm and gentle man who worshiped the ground she walked on and had her third child with him at about thirty-seven, Iyuki Osamoto. She runs the Family Business, a large conglomerate based in Japan, while her father retired. Her daughter Yuriko is set to inherit it eventually...

A hi spec who manifests her powers in a way that allows her to feel or sense things going on on those she loves. Rather embarrassing for those of her family when she senses their 'firsts' on some things, though amazingly useful when one is in danger and hurt.


Name: Fujio Osamoto
Age: 47
Gender: Male

NPC To: Iyuki Osamoto
Personality: Very calm, very stoic. He is the rock in the family. Support when needed comes from him, due to being the most stable and calm of all the 'adults'. Do not let it fool anyone though, a lot of the scariest plots and mergers come from this former accountant. When he speaks up, the rambunctious and crazy Osamotos all look up and listen, paying heed to this man when needed.
Appearance: A very unassuming man with jet black hair, he barely reaches 5'5 and his eyes are a soft brown color. He looks his age quite well.

History: As a young man he caught the eye of one of the CEOs of the company for his hard work and ended up dating her. He won her heart with his calm words and wisdom at barely twenty and they have been happily married for over two decades now despite their age difference. He tends to handle the bookkeeping and money for the family, personally, as well as oversee some bits of the conglomerate unofficially at times when his wife needs a break.

No spiritual powers at all.


Name: Yuriko Osamoto
Age: 39
Gender: Female

NPC To: Iyuki Osamoto
Personality: Cold, distant, grumpy. She deals with a lot of annoying things and is thus normally stressed and grumpy. There are few things in life that make her smile truly and those few things are cherished and treasured even if she doesn't like to show it.
Appearance: Rather tall, she's a striking figure normally in a suit. Her blue eyes are much lighter, more gray and her purple hair is quite a bit more a true purple than violet, cut short at her chin.

History: The oldest of the Osamoto siblings, she followed her mother into the family business officially and rules over her sections with an iron fist. Normally too busy or important to be pulled from work, when others slack or are needed she picks it all up and carries on. Likes taiyaki a lot.

Her power manifests as the ability to sense falsehoods or omissions.

I am jacking Ruku's stuff hell yes.

Gender: Male

NPC To: Hibiki/Muika - Maybe Miyako/Iyuki?

Personality: A rather upbeat and affiable person on the outside it seems. He hides a black heart and eyes with smiles, or tries to. Very very observant and tries to please others he knows in the ways he thinks they want, but is unable to speak at all so he overcompensates in what he thinks are appropriate responses. Surprisingly enough he has a rather twisted sense of humor and a smirk when he pulls off a nice joke.

History: Former Viper Tracker, number 303 back when he was used as a drug subject. Second half of tech support. Used mostly for drug testing and as whatever scientist's playtoy, then as a rather obedient tracker. He looks up to those like Jurou and especially Hibiki for being really strong and awesome.

He was a street kid, abandoned by whatever parents he had had and never really knew anything but the Bell's Viper. His brand is found low on his back, able to be seen just barely above pants if his shirt rides up.

Personality: Grumpy tastic, hides her likes, likes to play full contact sports despite her size and is good at it. A small temper, much smaller than she likes others to think.

History: The baby sister of Miyako, she lives with her parents in a nearby seaside town.

Name: Tomoe and Keitaro Inoue

Personality: Tomoe is pushy and forceful, brash and more than a bit brilliant at times. She handles the business aspects of the Bakery more often than not and shows her love with teasing and minor bullying. Keitaro is softer spoken, but can show a surprising temper. He is the calmer of the two and the more stabilizing influence on the family. His cakes and sweets are amazing.

Appearance: Tomoe has a chestnut brown hair color with darker eyes, while Keitaro has darker blueish black with lighter eyes. Both are rather short, Tomoe breaking maybe 5'4 on a good day and Keitaro maybe 5'6.

History: They met when Keitaro entered high school, her being two years older than him and his senpai. He was a bigger city kid who liked the sea and they quickly bonded before forming a relationship. At 19 and 17 respectfully, Tomoe and Keitaro messed up and ended up with a little bun in the oven. Keitaro finished out his final year of high school and decided to help work at his wife's family's bakery while she finished out college with a business degree.

When her mother died, they took it over entirely and raised their family in the small town happily.

Personality: Temperamental, but kind, with a spontaneous streak.  Very intelligent but with a strong misbehaving streak at school.  Highly popular due to unknowing use of her power, which evokes physiological mood effects in others.  Due to unknowing use, also is affected easily by the emotions of others.

Appearance:

History: Has been mostly raised on the road with Nadia.  Does not know the details of her birth or childhood, but has been given some of the facts from her sister.

Appearance: A lamia like her mother but much smaller in comparison. She measure in at a meager 4 feet normally and 5 to 6ft when measured from tip of the tail to the head. She sports blood red hair that is cut short and spikey. She has small developing horns on the side of her head that is concealed

NPC To: Mia Nezo

Personality: An airhead, flirty, playful. Friendly but also not prone to thinking before speaking or doing anything.

History: A flighty Dancer in the Third Rukon District who ended up pregnant by a drunke one night fling, she couldn't remember who the father of her child was and hoped it was her patron's. It wasn't but she kept the child anyways, attempting to be some sort of mother to her despite really being awful at it.

Personality: Wry, workaholic.

History: An information broker who sells information and work in the Rukon. Knows his way around the sword but not much else really known. Works with Apo on occasion using her as a bodyguard in exchange for things he can get on the black market. Willing to take most things as payment, but has a few scruples such as no human trafficking.

Age: 37 (Triplets so...)
Gender: Female

NPC To: Masaru Shirakawa/Mia Nezo

Personality: Rather quiet. Obedient to Mia utterly, but not really so to Masaru or others... Just polite enough to do their job but will not go out of their way unless requested by Mia.

History: Three good workers in the Shirakawa household, they work best together so when Mia moved in they were assigned to assist her. Immediately attaching, they are insanely loyal to her.
