SS Noble Houses

Inhabiting the Seireitei along with the Gotei 13 and its shinigami are various Noble Houses. A player is free to create a noble as they please, but keep in mind the ranking system of the houses, whether they are a lesser ranking noble house, or one of a higher influence.


The Four Great Noble Clans

The Four Noble Families carry the most weight and appear to have some influence over the governmental institutions and even institutions outside of the government.

The military (i.e.Gotei 13) have no authority to act against a noble family without evidence that their actions are treasonous to Soul Society.

The Four Great Noble Clans are as follows

The Shirakawa Clan

The Shirakawa Clan is a noble house that has been present within the Soul Society for centuries, seeing over the charge of the Sixth Division, and assisting the Soul Society by producing some of the most powerful and disciplined shinigami within the Seireitei.

A Shirakawa is raised from early childhood to shoulder the duties of both their clan, and their Division; they are taught to place duty above all, and remain clear headed in times of crisis.

The Morinaga Clan

The Morinaga Clan are play a key role in keeping watch over the valuable artifacts of the Soul Society, as well as documenting and securing the world's history. Rarely do many of their members join the Gotei 13, even the more spiritually powerful as it is seen more valuable to keep them dealing with the objects they keep safe in their compounds. Others keep track of the secret histories on the artifacts as well as attempting to preserve as much history or data as possible.

They are a small clan, picky about those they allow into their fold and tend to keep out others. Their lands are tucked a bit away from the other houses and homes, large and heavily wooded in fact almost as helping hide the artifacts inside.

The Kyolanti Clan

- Other Notable Members: Seis Kyolanti (Disowned)
The Kyolanti clan is a mid-level noble family whose task as vassals was to provide additional protection and military strength to the most powerful noble houses and their allies. Including, but not limited to, the Gotei 13. Specializing in the art of war, both its intellectual pursuits and its more physically demanding aspects, they are well known and respected for their talents as both tacticians and fighters. At one point it was a great honor to have the protection and allegiance of a Kyolanti, but in recent generations the clan's prestige has waned in favor of other less militant houses.
