Sofie's Garden

In a small corner of the Tricera's compound sat a small garden full of beautiful flowers and fruits. This garden was tended carefully by the Tricera's fraccion Sofie. Sofie was a sweet older lady who wanted nothing more than to spend her days tending her flowers and harvesting their blooms.

Sofie sat on a small blanket in one of the corners of her garden, situated between a gardenia bush and a large honeysuckle vine that creeped up a trellis. She had a small cantaloupe sliced up in front of her, and she nibbled on it gently.

"It's such a pleasant day. Even if the sunlight is fake."

Sofie chuckled to herself. She was very happy to be the fraccion of the third espada. He was powerful, which meant it was rare that people gave her problems. Sofie hated fighting, so this was a perk she truly enjoyed.

A small black Rose lilted through the air and landed at Sofie's feet. She'd understand this as one of Emile's many calling cards. The Tricera wandered into the garden. "Ahhh, I love this area. I was skeptical of letting an older woman be my fraccion, for a number of reasons, but you have a beautiful soul, and a beautiful power." At the last bit the Espada spun as if showing the flowers to the world. His black blazer shifted and rushed to form a rather extravagant chair next to Sofia, in which he sat and crossed his knee. A servant rushed over with to cups of tea. He took his and sipped it, "Please, Madame." He nodded toward his fraccion to take the cup.

"Oh hello Emile."

Sofie said with a smile as the Tricera appeared in her garden. He had a flare for theatrics, making everything a show. This amused Sofie, and she enjoyed his company. Such a kind man.

Sofie took the tea and blew on it a few times before taking a sip.

"Thank you, you are too kind to me."

Sofie picked up the cantaloupe she had sliced up on a plate and offered Emile some.

"I grew this myself. Please have some."

"All too Generous, Madame." Emile smiled and took the slice. He broke a piece off and set the rest of his slice on the arm of the ever shifting chair. Popping the piece in his mouth, the slice sank into the darkness. Emile didn't have to use his mouth to eat, but it did look more appropriate, dignified if you will.

He generally treated Sofia more like an elder, which is odd considering that he in fact, was probably older than her, and the difference in power. But fitting her appearance, he offered the respect a true dignified gentleman should give to an older woman.

Sipping at his tea bit more, he asked "How are you today, Madame Sofia?"

Sofie smiled and sipped her tea. It was really smooth. Emile always brought good tea. She wondering if he got it from her garden? Her plants all drew so fast due to her power that it was hard to tell sometime.

"I'm doing just fine. Just enjoying the day. Although I would have liked to take a walk, but I don't like leaving here alone. You know how the people here are, and I don't fancy fighting. It's just not part of my nature."

Sofie noticed a flower next to her was turning brown and wilting. She placed the tip of her finger on it, and it plumped up and turned white once more.

"My powers are much more suited to giving life, than taking it away."

Sofie smiled, the lines on her face showing her charm that one couldn't help but love.

"If you fancy a walk, madame, I can have the other fraccions watch the area, or I could. I'm pretty due for an afternoon of lazing about." He chuckled as he finished his tea. He put the tea cup on the armrest and a little black disc lifted it up, and carried it to the nearest servant to take away.

"I'm aware, but how necessary the beauty is in this desert. That is why you can leave the destroying to me and the other Espada. Mainly Seba I suppose, I do succumb to flights of fancy."

Sofie smiled at Emile, such a nice man. He was always so kind to her, but she knew just how unpleasant he could be if crossed. Sofie put her tea down and glanced of her garden for a second.

"Thank you Emile, but on second thought, I think I'd much rather stay here. It's so much more peaceful and to my liking."
