Grand Ball: THE GUIDELINING

Okay, so we've got a new system for the ball. To keep it from being a clusterfuck of posts, to make it feel more like a big even rather then one thread, and also so that the party doesn't end super soon, we've devoted a board to it.

Basically, any time two or more people are having a conversation of some sort, or generally interacting together, they get a thread. That way everyone can mingle. All threads are in a rough timeline, but you can feel free to post more then one thread at once and say they took place just generally "some time during the ball".

Now, a few guidelines

1) All Threads are open. Just like in a party, talking to someone doesn't exclude someone else joining the conversation. So you can post in any party thread you like. Now, while it's open, it's polite to ask before hopping in, especially if it seems private. But you can always choose to be 'That guy' both in AND Out of Character.

2) Matchmaking. Of course, nobody goes to a party and decides "I WILL MINGLE WITH THESE SEVEN PEOPLE AND NO OTHERS." At least not since my prom anyway. So, the main thread will serve as a mingling thread. Basically, if you have an idea of someone you want to post with? Post it. If you have no idea where to post, or who to post with? That's cool, just post in the mingling topic. Once someone comes up to join you, ye shall be whisked away to a different thread to keep the mingling topic easy to sift through.

3) HAVE FUN OR ELSE *shakes fist*
