In the Bleach RP all characters are divided not just by who they are, but how powerful they are, there are five major ranking in strengths, and within those are small tiers. These tiers are taken from the Soul Society positions, but are applied to all races, groups, and characters.
(Note, Senior Captain status is derided from age/experience and has no bearing on the tier level a character receives. It is merely a title given to the older captains)
Head Captain (HC)- The absolute most powerful character possible to have, currently only the faction leaders (not fullbringers) can have this ranking, The Head Captain of the Soul Society, The Corona Espada, and The Hollow leader. The gap in power between a Captain and a Head Captain is about 9x difference.
Captain+ - Captain+ level is the higher version of Captain levels. Only certain captains and Espada 1-3 are given this ranking. This list is updated as first come first serve, with the discretion of the staff. If any of the Captain+ characters die or leave Seireitei, then the next captain below them will be bumped up. They range from 2-4x power of regular Captain levels depending on their seniority/number.
Captain - The general power level of a Captain class Shinigami. Normally Espada 4-9 and regular captains of the Sereitei. They have 2x difference between them and Lieutenants with bankai.
Lieutenant+ (Lt. w/ Bankai)- This is the next level down after Captain. Generally a Lieutenant who has gotten their bankai, but also can be used to compare power levels with other groups as can all of these levels. The have a 2x difference over regular Lieutenants.
Lieutenant (Lt.)- Much like it's name, Lieutenant Levels tend to be attached to positions where they serve a certain captain, be it a Lt. of a Squad, or the PC Fraccion servant of an Espada. The gap between a Lieutenant and a Seated Officer is about 4x difference.
Seated Officer- The base level most players begin as, this is a bit unique in the ranking system. They are usually the weakest player characters, but often have the most grunt work to do. They are organized by 3rd Seat and downward, most characters who don't fit into any group would start out as a 3rd Seat.
(3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th...ect Seat)- All seated officers are generally equal, but the more far apart in level, the more of a advantage they have, so a 3rd v. 5th seat could result in the 5th seat winning if they try, but a 4th v. 10th seat, The 10th wouldn't stand much of a chance. It's much like the high, medium, low ranking in captains.
Cannon Fodder (CF)- The absolute weakest thing on earth, most CF aren't acutal player characters, but random characters made for fun or to be red shirts. You poke them with a pillow and probably kill them.
Human World Characters are organized into sets depending on the race.
1 Captain, 2 Lieutenant+, *insert limit* Lieutenant per race (Bount, Quincy, Fullbringer, Hi-Spec Human)
NPC MiniVillians for Human World can be up to Captain level.
