THE FUCK IS GOING ON (Meeting topic)

Pacing in the meeting room, Saraiyu had images and video replaying on screen of the rather...dramatic take down of the two leaders. She was...rather angry or upset over this, her usual calm entirely gone.

Calling out her espada and any fraccions they had that could handle such information, the Corona waited impatiently. She considered siccing Xavos on any late comers.

Dagon walked in and sat down. He was cool like that.

The next to arrive was the snake lady herself, despite her playful never she knew better than to show up late for the head's meeting.

Anna walked calmly into the room. Serene in both body in stature she kneeled down before the corona. Anyone paying close attention could she her fur standing on end. The tension was getting to her.

Already sitting in his seat quietly was the Sexta Espada, the hound the Corona was contemplating sending at the wayward Arrancar who failed to show up. He had observed the others that had come in thus far with a stoic gaze, waiting to see the turn out.

The Tricera espada showed up after a minute or so more beyond the last recent person to enter. He was wearing a rather deep frown on his face as if he had been interrupted from something important. Knowing him, he was playing video games most likely. Shinya seated himself and waited for the meeting to begin, wondering what this was all about.

Elly's footsteps could be heard long before the Fraccion appeared, she darted into the room, before immediately sonido'ing back out of it and calmly walking in, as if she hadn't been sprinting. "S-sorry. I... was doing rather important business stuff... Fraccion stuff..." She looked around and awkwardly pumped a fist. "Arrancar stuff!" She said with a little huff before deciding quiet time was now and taking her seat.

It would also be a few minutes before the Quatra Espada strolled in, but that hardly had the fanfare. She just walked in, weary eyed, scanning the room... In pajamas. Dull grey pajamas no less. She walked over to her seat and slumped into it before putting her head on the table. "Why are we up so early?" She muttered aloud. "Oh. I think I'm supposed to give this to you." She picked her head up and pulled a folded up paper out of her pocket and handed it to Saraiyu, before yawning. "So what's the deal?"

Flipping open the note, Sarai's face grew ten times darker than before. Holding up a hand, a picture appeared on the screen behind her and she spoke rather calmly, even if it looked like she wanted to punch someone's head off. It was of a huge crater.

"Kepler and Setsuna went and killed themselves in a fight. See that crater? Its apparently hundreds of miles wide. There's radiation and... a whole bunch of dead humans. That is the deal. Any fucking comments?"

"Yeah, where is it?" Dagon asks lamely.

Elly gasped and put her hands to her mouth. She was too young and part of the modern world for nuclear to not immediately cause an innate fear. She shuddered a little and put her hands into her lap. She didn't know what to say... She hadn't known either of them... It was sad though... Kepler had made the Volcano for mo-Sarai.... She twisted her mouth. Wow... THAT thought had just almost happened...

Esmerelda rested her chin on her arms, which were crossed on the table. She blinked a few times. "Well, fuck."

"Who cares where it was? That isn't the primary concern. Why did they suddenly come to blows? Whats gonna happen with the power vacuum? The Shinigami might be fine but who knows how the hollow hierarchy works? Who's to say the new leader of either faction will be as okay with us as the previous ones were. This is a very large issue ladies, gent, and Dagon."

Anna tapped her chin and hummed, "We need to prepare the battlestations, so to speak. Who knows how long it is before either faction comes at us. One can never be too prepared."

Xavos just quietly peered around the room, his arms folded as he gauged everybody's reactions thus far. He was surprised that people saw this as a threat to their own stability. If anything, it helped them, did it not?

"Two potential factors against us end up destroying each other and will be destabilized for some time. This is fortunate for us." The Sexta spoke up, speaking matter of fact-ly. "If you intend to strike against either faction, now is the time, Corona."

Esmerelda lifted her head to look at Xavos curiously. She furrowed her brow before sitting up. "Why?" She asked in response to the other Espada. She crossed her arms, giving a small little snort. She suddenly looked back at Saraiyu. "I mean.. if that were the Corona's wish, of course." She turned her attention to Xavos again, sitting up straight before giving a more derisive laugh. "Do you REALLY think that two people were standing between the might of the Espada and victory over the other worlds?" She crossed her arms, a little haughty. "If you ask me, their death alone changes nothing. If we had wanted them dead, it would have happened long before this."

She turned back to the table on the whole. "I think our first step should be intelligence gathering. We need to find out who's going to fill the voids of power and how they feel about us." She said, before leaning back in her seat, hands behind her head. "So... Who's in charge of intelligence?"

Shinya didn't say anything initially, letting everyone else talk while he studied the pictures on the screen. That one hollow was the one that gave the Corona the volcano.. and now he's dead. Shinya couldn't help but feel at least a bit sorry for him, since the gift was something he wanted as well. But the main thing that caught his eye was that the human realm was damaged by this battle. "...Is there anything we can do about the radiation?" Shinya asked, then shook his head. "No, scratch that. I'll take care of the radiation."

"Also, are we sure that the two of them were fighting each other? There wasn't a third party at the scene that they might've been fighting?" Shinya asked quietly, wondering if anyone else was thinking the same thing.

"The only one we could attack would be the Seireitei. We still do not have access to the Hollows domain Xavos. It'd be likely they could then attack us from behind... a war on two fronts with unknown adversaries isn't exactly the brightest." Sarai's default gaze was an angry glare for now, mostly from trying to figure out what had happened. "What would I do with the seireitei? Do you want to run it? I don't particularly want to throw the balance off and have everything be destroyed. I like existence, thank you very much."

"The reports indicate two distinct powers Shinya, but ruling out a third party instigating it wouldn't be smart. For now we want intelligence, you can clean up the radiation later. It would put the new Seireitei indebted to us, so I don't mind. Esmerelda, do your job and find out who will be our new...rivals. Everything you can get on them."

"Levi, the army needs to be on standby just in case. Xavos, I want you and your people ready as well. Anna whatever preparations and energy you need for your runes, you can drain my thralls for. Dagon...it was in the Russian wilderness. The shockwave killed most of the humans, not the initial blast. You have border guarding duty... Elly, you'll be in charge of the tower if I have to do something, so stay in for now. I may have other jobs soon for you as well."

"Anymore questions? I'll send the report with all the specifications once I have a copy."

Levi was actually rather quiet for once as she heard the news, despite her carefree nature she understood just how game changing this event would be and knew that it was no longer time to play. "I'll have the soldiers on high alert at all times, hey will be ready to move out within the hour."

Elly nodded, giving a small salute. She couldn't say she wasn't worried.. but she trusted Sarai... But it still... She pursed her lips. No, it would be fine.


Esmerelda put her head back down, only glancing up when Saraiyu gave them orders. She blurted out without thinking when it got to her. "Maki Tsukino.... Er... Is... Probably who will be in charge of the seireitei..." She glanced around. "She's sure as hell more chill than Fujihana..."

His demeanor in its normal stoic state, the Sexta simply nodded and said nothing further. The Corona had given her orders, and it was not his place to question them unless further asked for his opinion.

He did not agree with being passive like the two women had suggested. Hollows by nature were not passive creatures, but opportunists, creatures of action. They hunted, they killed, they evolved. What would they gain from doing nothing when an opportunity to further their own strength had presented itself? Not to mention they would also have the element of surprise...Attacking without detailed reconnaissance would be a gamble, he recognized that, but brilliant maneuvers in war were very often gambles themselves, as he often read in his secret library.

Perhaps it was the nature of the female to wait and see, he wondered. Still, he was not the Leader, and he was loyal enough to respect his Leader's wishes and co-operative enough to hear the others out. For now, he would wait until the meeting was adjourned or he was spoken to, whichever came first.

"I will start posting relays and setting up some surveillance immediately." She stood up and bowed. "And Madame Corona. If you can get an audience with one of the hollows, I can give you something that might be able to give us an entrance to their realm. It might also help to see what is going on from one of theirs." The kitsune waited for the corona's retort before leaving.

"Alright." Was all Shinya said as he rose to leave. He didn't know how to feel about this situation, really. Was he upset? Sure, lots of humans died for no reason and it seemed as if only the two were fighting. But something told him that this wasn't over just yet. It felt as if something else was about to happen and he didn't know what. So for now he'd keep his eyes peeled.

"Maki Tsukino... I'll pull up the files on her." Sarai mused for a second, trying to fit a name with a face. She glanced over all the other Espada, nodding and waving them off before she addressed Anna.

"You know as much as I do now and I hope you'll prepare accordingly. I'll... see if I can get ahold of one of those Hollows, Kepler was the last one I had any contact with but he was rather unforthcoming with some things Anna."

"Also, I would like to take one of you with me to the Seireitei to get to the bottom of things. If you want to come along, be at my tower in one hour." Sarai's smile was grim as she waved the end of the meeting.

Well, that was that. The meeting concluded, Xavos nodded to everybody else left at the table, then stood up and exited the room.
