Aoi Ruins SCIENCE!

Science. It was what drove some people to madness.

Aoi was here to figure out some things, and she wasn't leaving until she did. Standing outside the building in her gigai, she held a soft serve ice cream cone in one hand (covered in sprinkles and even two candy eyes put on top). The other hand held a large bag-like purse. In the bag was things...

Looking as she normally does, with her shortish red hair curling, her blue eyes sparkling and her late teens look intact... She also wore a purple plaid pleated skirt, with a bit of lacy fluff under it to bulk it up, a button up white shirt and a matching purple tie around it. Her legs were adorned with her white stockings that went up into her skirt and her feet held comfortable shoes.

Taking a lick of the ice cream, she stood outside the building and waved to the cameras. "Hiya~ I'm Aoi and I'm here to see... Seika? Erm. No Ai-chan knows me at least? What was that scientists name... Seiya! Sei-chan. I'm here to see them. I bring presents~"

It took a few minutes, mostly due to the confusion of the guards as they took in the sudden visit...from a young looking girl. She was here to see Nomura? Seiya hadn't left recently, having been too caught up in work and all...he mostly let Aito or another go out in the first place. So how did she know him?

After given permission from Seiya himself, they allowed the girl entrance despite their confusion. If Seiya knew what this was about then it was fine...

Aito had been sent to meet her at the entrance, as she'd stated knowing him as well. He tried to keep his composure, but his body was stiff and he was obviously on edge. Ice cream? Presents? Just what was her deal...

"Ai-chan~" Aoi gave the man a big smile as she ran up and wrapped her arms around him carefully. She didn't want to ruin her ice cream. As she pulled away, she offered him a lick of it with the same smile on her face. "Want some? Its vanilla. I have decided since you are a human with spiritual powers I should tell you about things. Since you deserve that knowledge! Also I am here to mess with Seiya more."

She waved her hand on as she blinked up at him. "Well? Where's my polite invitation? Don't be so quiet Ai-chan. I'd like to be your...um I guess friend is a strong word. I'd like to not be someone who punches you lots again. Okay? You can call me Aoi~"

"R-Right...Aoi." Aito answered, his body having stiffened more at her slight hug. He was still confused...she was just waltzing up to the front door like it was nothing! In a way, it was for her, but still...!

He felt like he was treading on already cracked ice with this whole thing. The doors came to a close once Aoi was inside and once out of her embrace Aito turned. "Doctor Nomura is in his office."

Aito knew Aoi technically already knew where that was, but since she wasn't supposed to be here in the first place it was best to lead her there on the very high chance they were being monitored. In Seiya's office, it wasn't a worry but here...He had no doubt the others were highly confused about the girl's sudden and rather forward arrival.

"Sei-chan is no fun. All work and no play makes Seiya a dull boy." Aoi laughed before taking a few more licks of the ice cream that was quickly melting. In fact the ice cream occupied her as she licked it quickly on their way to the office. "You are much more fun~ You have a healthy fear, its good. Smart. Keeps you out of the hollows clutches, when you use it."

If Aoi had cared they were being monitored, she gave no sign. Her eyes had scoped out as many of the devices as she could see and well... there were probably more she couldn't.

Hollows? Whatever, probably a spirit thing or something...

"It wasn't a very wise idea coming to the front door like that." Aito stated, his voice quiet. "This isn't some place you just come and go."

Of course, Aoi didn't need to worry about that but it was still for the best to inform her of that. If she messed up his neck was on the line too and he wasn't the type to risk is own skin for someone else. He did what he was ordered to do, did their dirty jobs and fought the fights...His priority was himself. Simple as that.

It wasn't very long before they reached the familiar doors of Seiya's office, swallowing a breath Aito knocked upon it.

"Enter."

"But I like front doors. Its so nice being welcomed warmly instead of sneaking." Aoi's voice matched Aito's low and secretive but still happy as she patted his back. "I've come to make sure you know things and you treat me so coldly. I'm not doing it for that other one, but for you Ai-chan. I think you are just unlucky and will be nice."

As they reached the door, the young human looked..uneasy. At least his gulping made her think he was worried. Her eyes narrowed and then they got the call to enter. "Aha!"

Aoi opened the door before Aito could and burst through with a happy grin, her ice cream almost forgotten as she smiled happily. She ran up to Seiya's desk with a laugh, giving him a wink and head tilt as she smiled. "Tada~ I said I'd be back and I have returned Sei-chan."

As Aoi burst through the doors, Aito scowled; feeling himself stiffen again. Just running around like that...acting so friendly. He could almost feel the noose around his neck. One slip up was all it took and it was frustrating how on edge she was making him.

He followed behind her, trying to act composed as usual when here, moving off to one of the nearby chairs to take a seat after he'd shut the doors behind them. He glanced over at them, crossing his arms while Aoi had her fun.

Seiya, at Aoi's sudden entrance, had only shown mild surprise before his eyes once again narrowed as he set aside his documents. "So you have."

Aoi turned to look at Aito with a frown, crossing her arms and pouting a bit. While she hadn't missed the look Seiya had given her, she wouldn't give him the knowledge of her interior pleasure at such a reaction. "Aiiii-chaaan. You are being so cold. I am sad. I thought we could be friendly."

"You raised such sad children, Sei-chan. They aren't happy at all. You really are an awful father." She giggled after the end, moving to stand in front of Aito and pull the poor man into a hug. By hug, it was more she pulled his head foward to her chest and patted his head. "Poor Poor Ai-chan."

"You are a man of science Sei-Sei... and I am sure you have questions... but I came here mostly to talk to Ai. He needs informing of things, which it wouldn't hurt to tell you either. I mean its not gonna be like my sex talk or anything. I figure you both know your way around and I don't even CARE if you are good at it anyways." Aoi spoke as she patted Aito's head in a supposedly soothing manner.

Again the younger male stiffened at the sudden embrace, his grip on his arms tightening as Aoi mused to Seiya about sad children.

Seiya didn't respond immediately, instead he simply blinked; remaining quiet for a moment before finally speaking. "Perhaps I would make a terrible father, if I had children. There are only subjects here, tools for further experimentation and testing. You're a friend of Muika's...I would have thought she'd mention that to you."

If he had as many children as there were subjects here, he'd have something to worry about indeed. He was only thirty-three after all...

He gave an amused half-smirk at Aito, the younger man obviously stressed and on edge despite the girl's "soothing."

"Though, feel free to inform him all you'd like."

"Thats gonna bite you in the ass. You really shouldn't treat others like things, one day one of those 'things' could hurt you bad." Aoi's voice was a singsong as her face shifted from its happy look to one entirely cold and devoid of anything warm as she looked at Seiya. Still she patted and held Aito, knowing her soothing wasn't working but still enjoying it. "She told me a lot~ A lot a lot. It makes me grumpy but I'll respect her revenge for now... Otherwise you'd be eviscerated by now."

"How kind! I bet you'll want to take notes? Should get pen and paper ready, Sei-Sei." Aoi giggled, letting go of Aito finally. She bent to eye level, which wasn't far and kissed his poor cheek. "You should pay careful attention Ai-Ai. You are a spiritual human, I can't... figure out which at the moment. Your powers are weak enough that they could be one of two things."

As she turned away, Aoi started pacing in a rather playful way around the room. Her voice was one of a teacher and she ignored Seiya for now. "Fullbringer, or high spec human. For one I need to explain the hollows. You've seen them, heard them I bet too. Their screams are rather hard to miss when they hunt. You may know them as masked ones, they eat the souls of the dead... And in fact ARE souls of the dead, corrupted by their hunger or by staying in this living realm too long."

"People have a chain here." She pointed to the middle of her chest, making a circle. "It connects your soul to your body, but when you die it breaks... And if you are stuck in this realm by feelings or thoughts, well it erodes. Have you ever gotten close enough to them to see the hole the hollows have? Its why they are called such. Hollow souls, filled with a deep hunger..."

"Fullbringers are born from human women who survive attacks by them. It leaves a residue in the body of sorts, passing onto the unborn children they bear. Some never develop their powers, but they can tap into some sort of object and form powers. They are normally spiritually aware, though shocks are needed to awake their powers sometimes." At this, Aoi dropped down to stand on her hands, walking on them as she talked. She couldn't help moving around a lot. "High spec humans are similar... but their powers come from ambient radiation of spiritual energy. Having someone around who radiates power can alter them, and they game powers all their own having nothing to do with hollows."

"I'm a shinigami. I died over two hundred years ago and gained strength in the afterlife, becoming someone who ushers the souls of the dead to that place. I also purify hollows and try to keep the balance of all realms..." Aoi giggled as she pushed herself off of her hands, flipping around and landing on her feet with a perfect form. "Well honestly those are relevant to you. There are a few other types of humans who gain powers, on top of the other spiritual beings. You Aito, if you get stronger, will be like a beacon to the hollows. They like your kinds as delicious snackies. Most like you don't make it long once they start targeting you~ Hence why I wanted to warn you. Muika can handle herself and that of her lover. You have no one but a simple normal white bread human to protect you... and believe me if they wanted you this building wouldn't stop em."

'Then do thank dear Muika for being indecisive then...' He'd almost said it, but he knew that would be a rather stupid move on his part so it simply remained in thought. He remained as is, listening quietly as Aoi began to speak; not bothering with the suggested pen or paper.

He had a fine memory, there was no need to write it down.

Aito had yet to utter another word since asking to come inside but he was listening like Seiya was. He'd heard those things, Hollows...they were rather loud and obnoxious when it came to there hunting. He'd been utterly confused at first...wondering why no one else seemed to notice those things but it wasn't long before he realized they couldn't see them.

So far, none had actually tried to attack him...he supposed now it was due to not having a strong enough signature yet. It was annoying, honestly. He never asked for this awareness...never wanted it. It was just another thing that burdened him through an already tough life.

Seiya was intrigued though his expression remained composed. Fullbringer, Hollow, Shinigami...it was all rather interesting. He paid no heed to what he figured was meant to be an insult towards him, being the simple human in the room as she felt to remind him.

"You needn't worry about Aito's abilities becoming more noticeable." Seiya responded, finally speaking. "If they do, and they start to attract unwanted attention then the higher ups will have him disposed of."

Aito glanced down at this, he knew that was reality and what to expect but...it still wasn't the most pleasant thing to hear it put so simply.

"If he dies I'll just hunt you all down. Its what I did for about a hundred and or so years... I'm an assassin~ And torturer, and information gather. A hundred years is a looong time to come up with new ways of things like that, you have to have imagination~" Aoi just smiled, a tinkling laugh. "I mean I could just...point this group out to the Espada or something. They...might like to mess with some humans, hunting down ones I don't think the Seireitei would mind disappearing. Or if the mysterious Quincies find you..."

"I'm at quarter power right now. Anymore and I'll warp the world around me, especially humans." Moving to Seiya's desk, she picked up his fancy pen and...stabbed it straight into his desk with no effort. "I'm... well not even close to being the strongest. The strongest of my realm, and the strongest of the Hollows and the Espada are scary as all. If they decided they didn't like this city I doubt it would be any effort for them to vaporize it. If they put their mind to it? Uuumm... I don't like to think about that. We shinigami follow rules, the espada and hollows don't follow anything but their Leaders."

Realizing her words were probably jibberish, she brought her hand up to her mouth. "Uuuuh oooh. The Espada are a group of hollows who look entirely human but for some small marks. They can use fake bodies like we shinigami in human realm and pass for human mostly. But they are hollows, they run on rules like the strongest of the strong...and don't really care about humans for the most part. The hollow group... they are new... But they are hollows who never became like humans or shinigami. They got stronger by eating other hollows, both groups, in their desert land."

Aoi realized her words could be scary for poor Ai-Ai and ran over to him, once again hugging him to her chest. "Aww don't worry Ai-Ai. I will keep you safe. Safe and warrrm."

Just what was her deal? He didn't...He didn't need protecting. He wasn't some child. He could fight, he could kill. He hadn't been the best but he was far from being the worst. He could take care of himself...

Those were Aito's thoughts anyway, after giving a short glance up to Aoi as she continued speaking before glancing down again. He just had to keep his head low and do his job. Though as she stabbed the pen through Seiya's desk, both men's eyes couldn't help but widen a fraction though Seiya's expression quickly took on an annoyed face.

Aoi continued explaining though, about Espada and Hollows, as if the property destruction hadn't even occurred. Then again, she didn't care which was obvious.

Again, Aito grimaced at the embrace; she was treating him like a child...

"Why are you sooo grumpy Ai-Ai? I thought hugs made people feel better?" Aoi looked down at Aito, sighing as she pulled away just far enough so she could lean down and rub her head against his. He was so upset and she couldn't get this poor victim to smile. Maybe... if she hurt Seiya he'd feel better? A broken leg?

"Sei-Sei is annoyed at me too, but his feelings are entirely irrelevant. Maybe... Oh! Presents. I forgot all about those." She moved away from Aito and went back to the desk, searching through her bag as she pulled out some things. One of Rin's books went on the desk, the one she was reading and had gotten him to sign and sketch in, and a sketchbook and pencils... Two bags of chips, a minispeaker and an MP3 player attached to it... Some hair ties, a mardi gras mask, three very large and sharp knives and an overly large paperclip came out before she got to the wrapped presents at the bottom.

One was square and wrapped in newpaper. Crappily. The other was neatly done in nice blue paper that matched her eyes. It even had a bow on top and was long and thin, like a clothing box.

Seiya's was set on the desk as if she didn't care, while she left her mess there to go give Aito his with a grin. "I brought you something!"

His body relaxed some when she let go, moving back towards Seiya's desk again as she began unpacking the bag she'd brought. Of course...unpacking that bag meant making a mess, which brought slight annoyance to Seiya who tended to keep his work area clean and organized.

She unloaded all sorts of junk before finally reaching two wrapped gifts. By how the wrapping was done it was obvious which one was intended for either male. Not that gifts had really been expected in the first place...if anything there was likely something in the box meant for Seiya intended to cause harm. Poison perhaps?

Then again, she respected Muika's revenge so it wasn't entirely predictable. She could always send something nonfatal...as long as he didn't die then it was free reign, wasn't it?

Aito stared down at the box Aoi offered to him with unsure eyes. It was strange...the entire concept of being given something strange so obviously he expected it to be a joke, something to prod him along with her coddling.

Aoi looked between the two men, the beginnings of a pout forming. After more seconds passed, Aoi went into a full blown pout. Crossing her arms, she hmphed and looked at them both in disappointment. "Open them! I didn't work hard to get these just to have the wrappings stared at."

Inside the two boxes... Seiya's gift was one of exquisite workmanship. A lovely mug, handmade and beautifully colored... However written across it in remarkably vivid letters was written... '#7 Asshole'

Aito's box...held a trenchcoat jacket. A cool looking one, in dark navy blue. It was nicely made and was his size or slightly bigger... just because Aoi was thorough. It merely had a small note in the pocket. 'To my lil buddy Ai-Ai. <3'

Reluctantly, both men went to open their gifts both at least relieved to find they weren't lethal...

Seiya, held no visible reaction; knowing it was meant to annoy him. Getting agitated over it would be giving her what she wanted though, so in response to the present his expression remained composed; blinking once in response.

Aito's eyes had widened a fraction in response to his own gift, but he quickly tried to compose himself and averted his eyes. He...He didn't need charity...

Those were his thoughts anyway, though it was obvious there was some liking held to the gift. He was simply being stubborn although that wasn't something he'd admit.

Aoi waited with a pout, though it took effort to keep it in place as they opened it. Her body shook slightly and she tried to uncross her arms from her grumpy pout a few times as she fidgeted. These two... Her pout turned into a grumpy frown as she narrowed her eyes. "Hm?"

Not...even a reaction from the two. "Hmmmmmm?"

Nothing, just eyes averted. "HMMMMMMMM?"

"...You two are the worst. The worst ever." Aoi threw up her hands and stalked to the desk, pushing aside the mess with her butt as she picked up the book. Flipping to her marked page, she looked over the cover at Aito and leaned back to look at Seiya for a brief second. "The worst."

"You aren't incorrect." Seiya replied as Aoi took to her book, a small smirk playing on his lips. "So our reactions were quite expected."

"Mm..." It wasn't exactly a response, certainly not a desired one; but Aito managed a small nod after it. How was he supposed to react? Get all happy and thank her? Hilarious...

Aoi didn't even look up from her book, now that she was engrossed in it. She reached down to the large hiltless knives, taking one and throwing it with with strength and precision. It wouldn't hit Seiya, but he would feel the air as it passed by. It passed by him and embedded itself in the window... That sort of glass was made to not shatter, even if it was bullet proof as well it wouldn't stop the blade from sticking in it.

Her voice was cold and uninterested as she flipped a page with the hand that had thrown the knife. "Its rude to not even thank someone for their gifts, Seiya. Aito is given a pass since he can't be expected to know proper courtesy, you are an adult. Act like one for once."

As the air whipped next to him when the knife was thrown, the doctor's eyes widened on reflex just as the sound of the knife embedding itself into the glass was heard. He grimaced in annoyance, the window wasn't as easily fixable as the walls had been...

Aito's eyes had widened at that moment as well, though he couldn't compose himself as easily as Seiya could and it took him a moment before he ended up turning away again.

Seiya remained silent for a moment before finally he gave a sigh, "Thank you then..." For the gift which he was obviously not thankful for in the least, he'd planned on tossing it anyway...Aito's...well he could do as he pleased with his.  It wasn't of any concern to him.

"Don't worry Ai-Ai. You are my lil buddy. I would never throw knives at you, those can cause irreparable damage!" Aoi smiled soothingly, sliding off of the desk with her book as she moved to Aito's side. Sitting on a chair next to him, she looked up at the taller man with a brilliant smile even as she replied to Seiya.

"Aaah see you can be nice. That grimace of yours is more handsome than your regular face, makes me want to kiss you again Sei-Sei~"

Lil...Lil' Buddy...

He felt a twinge of annoyance at that, mostly because he felt like he was being reduced to a child again. "Tch..."

She'd kissed that guy? Aito's eyes momentarily darted to Seiya, who's eyes were still narrowed in annoyance towards Aoi. Eugh, talk about fucked up taste...

Then again, it was quite obvious the girl despised the blond so whatever had a fueled a kiss likely wasn't through good feeling. Still weird, in his opinion.

(OOC: Aito you are the best I can't stop laughing at this inner commentary.)

Aoi couldn't resist, that Tch was so adorably cute! "Aaaah! Ai-Ai!"

With a giggle she hugged the poor man and nuzzled his head in a friendly manner, cooing the whole time. "So...anymore questions? Comments, from the man of science? Ooo do you like books Aito? Rin Aoyama writes some nice ones. See my copy is even signed!"

The book she was still holding while she molested the poor young man, was waved. "I have some for you guys. Well, Seiya in particular. Why are you so obsessed with Muika? What about that girl drives you to this?"
