"Grk-!?" He'd been fine until she'd mentioned his loudness, which caused him some embarrassment as he tried to ignore that shocked noise he'd just made. "That...I was insanely out of it, I wasn't worried about how loud I was being!" He quickly defended, though it was more of an explanation rather than a defense.

Kaimu seemed really jumpy and Lakshmi tried to cover up her laughter as she bent down to get her uniform back on fully. "Of course not... Is that normal when you get that angry?"

Blue eyes glanced over her shoulder, blinking as she stuffed her arms into her outer black clothes. She smiled softly and shook her head, pushing away the teasing when he was obviously still upset. "I have never seen sides of you like that before Kai. I am sorry, please you can relax."

"I was seething when you got in, trying to calm myself but it wasn't really working...which was why I had originally thought it best to be elsewhere...it wouldn't do me any good to be angry while on the job." Kaimu replied, a finger going up to scratch the side of his mouth before he moved to straighten his own clothing so he was dressed properly.

His poor uniform though... Oh well, it'd felt good, and he had multiple...

He gave a small laugh, "It's pretty difficult to get me that angry, but considering my position I couldn't help but become so..."

He'd had to keep a respectable image since he was on duty, and keep formal which only left his anger to swell within him.

"Unfortunately you can not just leave like that even if you were frustrated and seething." Lakshmi sighed, reaching up and ruffling her hair a bit. She felt bad for that, but... it was generally not allowed. You managed your temper and did your duty, no matter how annoyed you got. That was what it meant to be a Shinigami...

Picking her Haori up, she shook it and slipped it on before tying it around her waist with the nice sash she had. Kaimu's spirits seemed fine again and she shook her head, holding up a finger. "The rule of thumb here at least is a forty to sixty minute nap or break in those cases, though you make it up by staying later if you do."

Looking at the poor disheveled uniform of his though, Lakshmi laughed sheepishly and glanced away after a moment. "N-Next time I will just... use my mouth instead. Much less messy for your sake. So do not bottle it up? I will help as much as I am able."

Kaimu let out another breath; he knew he couldn't just leave, he'd meant just...go somewhere secluded nearby, even if he wanted to go farther...though if he was needed and no one could find him that wouldn't have been good either...

"Right, right." He gave a small nod at the nap comment, the only downside was staying later...

Lakshmi had mentioned her method for him though, which well...it would save him from staying later if his frustration could be dealt with quickly...

"I won't bottle it, promise."

"Eeeh? Right Right?" Lakshmi's voice became slightly playful as she opened her eyes in mock surprise. She raised an eyebrow, crossed her arms and tapped her foot as she played just a bit. "Is that any way to speak to your superior officer, Shinigami Miura?"

She couldn't keep up such an act long and quickly dropped it with a soft laugh. Stepping closer to the man, she shook her head after that show and made sure to adjust the uniform herself. She had a small smile on her face as she looked at his chest instead of his face. "Thank you... Here, almost all set..."

"You should...tell me things. Like the arrancar thing. I would rather know than have a situation like that surprise us both again." Lakshmi voice was soft and she kept her eyes trained firmly not as his face as she spoke.

Kaimu puffed out a cheek, a pout arising at Lakshmi's words; they were in private, he could speak in his usual manner then!

His cheek deflated as Lakshmi stepped closer, he allowed her to adjust things as necessary and as she began speaking again he gave a small nod, not that she could see.

Moving a hand to her hair, he teased it lightly, her voice was soft and she wasn't looking at him...

"Sorry, I hadn't actually thought...anything more would come of it, and things had been settled peacefully so that helped my belief nothing more would happen..."

Considering they were both rather experienced before coming into a relationship between them, he hadn't really thought it of such extreme importance to mention past relationships, but...obviously this was an important case...

Lakshmi let Kaimu tease her hair, the small smile on her face staying in place as her eyes moved lower and her head looked down. "Sometimes...most of the time things do not turn out like that. It is okay, we should get back to work."

Sighing softly, she looked up and smiled for him before stepping back and stretching. She was good at that, pushing away things that upset and bothered her and stuffing them away even if she was still upset and hurt. "Duty calls, I feel a storm brewing here soon. We will have a large rush by the end of the day, I just know it."

"Sorry..." She'd said it was alright, but he still felt the need to get that apology out again; there was work to be done, she was right...this was something they could discuss later then when they weren't restricted for time if Lakshmi pleased...

Lakshmi just shook her head softly and smiled at Kaimu again, moving for the door. She unlocked it only to hear shuffling and rushing away as the members of the squad, the brave ones and curious ones rushed away at top speed.

She sighed, took a deep breath and threw open her door. "ALL RIGHT WHO WAS LISTENING TO PRIVATE CONVERSATIONS, HM?"

In her loudest authoritative yell, she stood her full height and yet seemed a giant as she strode out into the hallway as people scattered. This was her life...
