| Ghaaagh!
Damn it, damn it...
Who the hell left a tie trap out in the damn woods!?
Tch, Okura probably when she still lived out there... Damn Okura...
All he'd wanted to get done today was a few hours of training, he'd even left right after Miyako left for work! Which was early for him!
He'd head out into the woods to get some private training done, practice with his weapon, practice with those other damn Fullbringer abilities he needed to master...
And just when he'd been running in attempt to learn Bringer's Light...
His foot had got caught in a damn rope trap and he'd pulled up into a damn tree! If that weren't enough -- a damn hollow had shown up after that and he'd had to shoot it hanging upside down!
Hibiki's frustration was, understandably, high as he sat back in a part bench; resting. He was done with the fucking woods... Done.
At least the convenience store had a bandage patch... Thanks to that damn tree he had a welt on his head from when he hit it going up... Tch, it was bandaged now at least...
A giant huff escaped him as he leaned his head back, his eyes up to the afternoon sky as he let his body and nerves calm. Damn woods, damn hollow, damn trap...

| "Eh? What hollow did ya in this time, cherry boy? Or did she finally decide she had enough of the surly grumps?" Tsuyoshi, deciding to be polite, spoke up as he neared the quiet man he'd recently met and annoyed. Anyone else he might feel wary around and clam up, but a few days with his thoughts as his own had settled Tsuyo down a bit.
At least settled down in that he wasn't a jumpy mess. He'd gotten a good haul at the casino too and thus was wearing one of his nicer outfits out, wandering around a bit in his new found freedom.
Having noticed the familiar form, and picking up a few stray thoughts before he shut down his powers, the man had made a beeline for the person resting on the bench. Pulling out a cigarette, the man flipped open a lighter before quirking an eyebrow and peering at the bandaged head. Hibiki was a fun target and really he was in a good mood after earlier.

| Hah...?
Hibiki blinked, taking a moment before glancing over towards the source of the familiar voice once Tsuyoshi had approached him.
"...Training accident, hollow didn't cause it." Tch, the hell was with that nickname? Cherry boy? How did that apply to him in the slightest!? Gh...g...
Whatever.
...And no, Miyako hadn't left him or gotten tired of him either! That assumption had only hit him after he'd given the man an answer.
He wouldn't even have an injury had Okura not left a damn trap out in the woods. Shouldn't she and Osamoto have cleaned those out before they moved!? Oh right...those two never even came back from what he knew! Gh...
Idiots... | |

| "You're slow with comebacks. Pfft." Tsuyo snorted before taking a long drag of his cigarette, letting out the smoke politely away from Hibiki. Even if he was messing with the kid, it wasn't right to blow it right in his cherry boy face. "Its a shame, she's got such a sweet smile. Don't need grump kings who think one thing and say another keeping her tied down."
Ah, he knew it wasn't true but really Hibiki's thoughts were always a trip and Tsuyo smirked as he allowed his power just enough freedom to pick up 'cherry boy's' wavelength. Those two were completely wrapped up in each other, he wasn't missing a chance to mess with now that it'd been dropped in his lap.
"So you fell into a trap, those other two set and left? Whatcha doing working on things out at some weird cabin for anyways?" Wasn't like he had anything better to do and he flicked the ashes off to the side on the sidewalk with his thumb. Fresh victims were nice enough, plus he was a bit curious about the other two Hibiki was thinking of.

| "Tch." Blame the head injury.
Even if that obviously wasn't a applicable excuse... Not that Hibiki gave a shit whether it was or not.
"Hah? I wasn't that confessed first, if she's tied down it's by her own choice..." His comment wasn't all serious, though he was right in the knowledge that Miyako had been the first to confess.
He didn't doubt there relationship, considering all the shit they'd gone through and everything that was said.
It was something he was grateful for...that after all of that she still...Gh-! D-Damn mindreader...
"I went out there because it's far enough out from the city..." Private area of practice, plus he had a gun...even if he could hide it easily by just reverting it to the form it had as a charm it was best to just practice with it when there wasn't much of a chance of shots being heard.
The hollow only showed up after he'd gotten caught in that damn rope trap...gh...and he'd had to fire off more shots than he would have liked...

| "I doubt its the head injury. Seems more like a personality flaw to me." Tsuyo drawled, enjoying reading this fucker's mind far too much. Seriously this man was a treasure trove of amusement, and with his new found ability given by the grumpy man's adorably sweet girlfriend, he was enjoying himself.
Tsking, he shook his head and took another long drag on the quickly dwindling cigarette. Normally only after casino trips or other stress filled situations did the man smoke.
"Well there's no accountin' for taste." Since Hibiki wasn't serious, Tsuyoshi smirked and teased a bit too. Reading some rather intense things, instead of commenting on them like he might have, the man treated such intensely personal thoughts as if he hadn't heard.
He had though. That was some fucked up shit and he had no right to tease about it. Besides he was poking fun, not tearing open insecurities, there was a fine fucking line and he might cross it sometimes, but never intentionally.
Hearing the unspoken thoughts about the man's training though, Tsuyo dropped the dregs of his cigarette to the ground and put it out with his heel. "You shouldn't do that stuff alone, cherry boy. Training like that is fucking dangerous, having a spotter is best. Do you want to see her crying when you end up a ghost?"
God a monster had shown up then? The red head shuddered and stuffed his hands in his pockest, staring down at Hibiki with a bit of reproach.

| "Tch..."
Personality, head injury, whatever...
The other statements were treated with a subtle glance away, about tastes...whatever. They were fine, and it wasn't going to change anytime soon...or at all, really.
Hn?
He shouldn't train alone like that?
"I'm fine, it only took two shots to take it down, being upside down wasn't a problem." Really, it was frustrating, but then again dealing with it in the first place was frustrating... It wasn't like he'd been put in a situation he couldn't have gotten out of.
Hollows like that were nothin... He could take care of his self, even before he got these powers...tch. The only thing that did damage was the stupid tree, and maybe the rope had given his ankle a scratch or so, but again...it was nothing...

| "Personality flaw, weird verbal tics..." Tsuyo's tone was dismissive and he sighed afterwards, bemoaning the poor young woman stuck with such a person. It honestly was a really cute pairing, so he was perfectly fine with em. Mostly his jabs were just to bother the man... And he let out a chuckle, shaking his head at Hibiki's thoughts.
"Fine fine, I'll stop teasing ya. Still, safer for you if you can to get someone else out there just in case the worst happens." If he was that far out, away from everyone including his sweetheart who could heal too it was major danger. Regardless of whether the monster was a weakling or not, snapping his leg and breaking it would be a pain getting back on. "Don't doubt you can handle yourself well enough. Back ups good though, or just someone to go get help."
Plopping himself down on the bench next to Hibiki, he raised an eyebrow. "You think I'm condescending ya, I'm not. Just sayin' if you want to keep her happy too... Doubt she'd want you alone for shit like that."

| Tc- He did not... He... Gh..g...
Resisting the habit now that it'd been...obviously pointed out, Hibiki's jaw clenched for just a short moment before relaxing. D-Damn habit...damn sound...gh...g...
The man didn't seem to mind really as Tsuyoshi plopped himself down next to him, continuing to sit as he was instead as the red head continued to talk on the training thing, and how he shouldn't be doing so alone.
He wasn't used ot working in pairs, or groups... He'd managed before with Miyako when they'd gone out there together, but...they'd still gotten into some arguments...
Really Miyako was...the only he'd ever trained with in actuality. That once...every time before he was just doing it solo, before his powers...after...
"...." He just had to be sure not to get hurt...or have anything bad happen, if he could learn Bringer's Light then that wouldn't be a problem...
With his gun now, and if he could learn that...

| Tsuyoshi glanced over, crimson eyes amused as a hand came up to cover his mouth. The young man was quite amusing, trying to hide and hold back those freaking reactions and succeeding. Or well he might have if Tsuyo wasn't reading his mind...
"Just because you ain't worked in groups, doesn't mean its good to neglect that shit. You got a group now right? Best practice in case something bad comes up you can't handle alone." Seriously, he had others to count on and others that relied on him...
"What's this bringer's light shit? And why's it so important to master?" He felt like another cigarette but refrained, not wanting to do so when he was sitting next to someone else who didn't do that. "Ya know if you spoke up I wouldn't read your mind. You're letting some shit seep out you don't want me to know, ya should be minded of."

| "..." Had a group now...kinda...he guessed...
Thinking that, he might get Miyako pouting or Osamoto's whining if either heard that thought of his... Okura wouldn't give a shit considering neither liked being associated with one another, but...gh...
It was something that still needed to be worked on...he guessed... He wasn't one to work in groups, never had been... Always just him, and so that's what he was used to...it used to be that anyone with him with just get in his way, but...now that wasn't the case...
...
Gh-!?
R-Right...mind-reader...gh...
Just focus on the Bringer's Light shit, rather than...all that other stuff.
"Bringer's Light's a technique for fullbringers... s'A...quick move thing..." A quick move thing that could get a fullbringer to move faster than a speeding car, or would motorcycle be a better example? He couldn't really...compare it to much since he'd only seen it rather than used it.

| "I can tell em if you won't, leave you all that messy whining and pouting to teach you a lesson." It'd serve him right, Tsuyo felt as he smirked. God, this man thought way too much and spoke far too little. He was making the psychic look insane.
"Cherry boy, work with me here. You think too much and don't say it enough. If I wasn't a mind reader, this would be the most annoying conversation of my life." On top of that he kept getting glances into some weird fucked up shit that the kid used to be involved with. Not that Tsuyoshi cared to ask about, but seriously... "...Just cause you got some secret fucked up past doesn't really matter to anyone but you, you gotta live in this world with people so it's best you get used to being a normal person or covering for it."
Whatever happened in his past, if he kept using it as some sort of excuse it wasn't gonna do those two any good. Not that Tsuyoshi was someone to go for for relationship advice, but seriously sitting here with this man was making him want another cigarette something fierce. Why was he even here still?
"Quick move thing... Ah, I get it. You get some sort of ambient power or something? Not that I want to know all this shit really. Its way too complicated for a psychic like me." Briefly wondering if he could do something like that, Tsuyoshi decided he didn't care.

| "Gh... No thanks..." He was making...extremely slow progress, but it was progress nonetheless...even if actually working in a group should be a main focal point...he was still working towards it.
He was working towards improving himself, slowly but surely...and he only hoped they all understood that, but knowing them, they did.
Hibiki resisted the urge to let another one of his frustrated noises escape him; stop thinking, he needed to stop considering this guy with his mind reading...gh...
"s'Not like I can say half the shit I think outloud, it's an effort just to get this out..." He was working on it...
He wasn't trying to use his past as an excuse, as much as it was a reason for his...stunted social development he didn't want it used as some excuse, it was hard...
It was hard but he was trying...
"I'm still workin' on it... 'Don't want it to be some excuse, but for now the progress is just slow..." If he could speed it up, he definitely would... Hell, he was just now able to even manage a smile for Miyako if he put a lot of work into it...
That was a leap forward...
"Ah...A movement technique; it'll help when it comes to dodging...or if getting from point A to point B is urgently necessary or somethin'..."

| "Not like I know who the hell this Osamoto is, or could find him. Plus I can't stand making nice people sad... Guess you're safe for now." For now, though really this was good blackmail to have, even if those two would just understand. If the Grump was thinking that, it was possible they still might get pouty.
Wait a second... When had he started just thinking of this guy as someone he was gonna see more?! Tsuyoshi froze for a moment, wondering what the fuck was up with him right now. Holy hell, was he trying to make a friend here?
With the silent grump lord?
What the fuck was wrong with him?
Least he should explain why he was still reading the poor kids mind, even if it was only one on one... "I can turn it off now, but seriously that'd cut down on what I can respond to. Too many years reading minds regardless, so I don't get the whole body language shit much anymore."
"S'long as you're tryin', guess that's all that can be said." Shrugging, Tsuyo stretched back on the bench before moving to stand. "Still is a pain picking up all those things, way too personal even for me. Like that smile thing, euch save me from cutesy couples."
Rubbing his nose at the quick movement technique though, Tsuyo did see the inherit benefits of it... Even though he doubted he could pull something like that off. He'd had his powers the better part of two decades, and the full form of them for at least four to five years now. There was no way he'd magically get more now, so far as he could figure out... If he was even someone like these weirdos. Smirking, he gave another shrug. "Sounds like it'll be useful to ya."

| "A-Ah..." Yeah...
It wasn't like he could just go off and find those Osamoto and repeat his thoughts to him. He was safe then, definitely safe...
He didn't get what was up with the other male as he seemed to freeze up, but it wasn't any of his business, he seemed to get over it easy enough...kinda, he guessed.
"A-Ah..." Right, right... "Right, I'm trying..."
Hah? C-Cutesy couples? "Gh...Tch, well you're stuck with 'em considering Miyako's friends with your friend..."
Miyako enjoyed seeing all her friends, that Iseri girl included, and Iseri was friends with Kurosawa here which meant Kurosawa was stuck. The price of socialization.
Heh.
Though, maybe Miyako was cutesy, but he was not. So he was stuck with half-cutesy.
"Ah...Once I learn it it'll be useful..." Hibiki answered, glancing over to the redhead as he stood up, he for now remained seated... He planned on going to Miyako at work later...she could likely heal up his injuries.
As for the Bringer's Light, yeah; it'd be useful. He just had to learn it first, which he was working on.

| Tsuyoshi had stood up so he could smoke but was continually distracted by this weirdos thoughts and he rolled his eyes again. He was safe for now, unless the man would meet up with the other happy person, he assumed. Not that he was gonna seek anyone else out, he didn't give any fucks really. The only reason he'd stop by for this guy was cause Ikue had seemed all happy over those two dating so...
He'd play nice and be friendly. That was totally all it was. That and the amusement he got over Mr Grump, who was trying his best to be less mr grump and more some weird semblance of normal... Still though, he was wrong. Not half cute at all... He could agree the young woman was cute, but wasn't like he could say that without sounding creepy. Ugh, no interest here.
"Nah, its entirely cutesy. The... dichotomy between how quiet and pissy you are and the just... Pure Princess Sunshine, makes it all the more cute. Just she's the only one you'll let mess with you, so its a big glaring softy sign... But then you still bite everyone else's faces off." He needed another cigarette after this and just pulled out the pack, tapping out one and lighting it once he teleported his lighter to his hand.
It was teleported back to his pocket with no real fuss, almost like a magic trick. He took another drag and grinned. "Yeah, I'm stuck with ya then. Lil Sis would be upset if I wasn't all nice and social..."
"...So you are practicing something that's really fucking fast and like some sort of teleportin' in a wooded area? I dunno if you see the whole problem, but I do and if you don't want broken noses..." Trees sounded like obstacles..."Even if she can fix ya, bet she'd be unhappy to see you hurt."

| "Tch." Gh-... Damn it, he wasn't supposed... He was trying not to give his typical reactions to things.
Cutesy? Gh...
"Whatever, think of it however you want..." He could believe whatever the hell he wanted... While he himself would keep up with his own belief that he was not, in fact, cute.
...
Yes, he was practicing Bringer's Light out in the forest... Yes...
Hibiki blinked, his eyes flickering over to Tsuyoshi before the returned their gaze to the...whatever, ground scenery on the opposite side of him.
"I wasn't going to run into any trees." He would like to think he had better control over his body than that. He wasn't an idiot... "Plus...if you go deep enough there's clearings..."

| "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." Musing that as Hibiki made his sound that Tsuyoshi was beginning to notice was some sort of weird tic, he allowed the kid his whole attempt to not make it and minor sounds in his head.
He was planning on being quiet over the thinking whatever he wanted but... Chuckling, he shook his head with the cigarette just resting on his lips for the moment. "Your denial is almost stronger than mine, holy shit. It's cute, I'm telling you its cute. Ikue thinks its cute, I bet everyone around you two think its cute. I am pretty sure if I grabbed a dictionary of 'cutest thing' you being sweet on her would be at least in the top hundred of the world."
That was some pretty thick denial there...
"If you hit a tree, I get first dibs on laughing at you." Tsuyoshi's cocky grin returned, continuing to smoke up above the kid as he was thinking of him. Not that they were too far apart in ages, though it was definitely enough to cause him to think of him as much younger at least.
"From what I'm pickin' up in your mind, that power might go too fast. I dunno, I'm not some whatever you are. Just a simple esper, so might be wrong on all this." What did he know? Just that it seemed stupid to try learning some magical teleporting shit in a forest... Though he knew a ton about teleporting at least.

| "Mn..n..." He successfully managed to not make his typical sound in response to that statement of Tsuyoshi's...though...another one of his typical sounds had been it's substitute.
...Small steps...
"Gh...s'Not." He wasn't "cute," damn it... Miyako and her personality and such, she could be considered cute, and he wouldn't deny it, but him? He wasn't cute...
Hah?
"Dunno, maybe you're a high-spec or somethin'..." Without Osamoto's ability to outright know, there was no overall simple way of telling. Reading specific signatures to those extremes wasn't exactly a strong point of his. "Either way, Bringer's Light's an asset...out there's just a better place to practice..."
Even if it was out in the damn woods... There were clearings out there...and once he got the hang of it further the trees would be useful to get an even better control. Gh...
Plus, out here in the middle of the city didn't call for much privacy without some sort of higher risk of getting caught. The governments and higher ups already knew about the spiritually aware... He'd rather not be caught as one and lose his right to his own private life.

| "By loving her you are automatically entered into her ambient cuteness. Its stuck to you now too, 'cause you're so damned grumpy it just... Amplifies the cute." Tsuyoshi pointed out, waving his hand towards Hibiki as if the cute could stick before he winced. "Not that I mean that in a weird way. She's like a little fluffy animal, cute wise."
God, someone as old as him calling her cute? He finished up his second cigarette before putting it out and tossing it. Ikue already thought him a hobo, so no need to make this guy think him an old creeper on his girlfriend.
Picking up the terminology from Hibiki's mind, Tsuyo found himself staring for a moment as he processed that shit... Then ran his hand through his hair and groaned. "...Ugh, this shit is so complicated. I don't care what the hell I am, I'm just someone who does parlor tricks. As long as you guys can keep Ikue safe from those monsters, doesn't matter what I am."
Without his knowing it, Tsuyoshi had already unconsciously found ways to hide his energy enough from hollows.
"Like I said, you break your nose and I get first dibs on laughter. Can't you do that shit in parks at night or something? Wait no. That's worse." Thinking about who used the parks at night, the esper was beginning to see why Grump King was doing it out there... Plus, yeah, those government people...
Least he'd know if one was coming. Well well well... Looked like he was useful after all. "Not like I care too much, just you are amusing with your constant denials over basic truths."

| "Gh-..." A-Amplifies...!? Hibiki felt his eye twitch as Tsuyoshi waved a hand towards him before blinking, turning his head to look towards the grown at a patch of grass rather than trying to retort.
He'd just get any retort nullified, wouldn't he?
Hearing the subject change, he glanced back over to the redhead, and blinked again before shrugging. "Kinda...takes time to get used to the terminology... I just heard it so damn much at first I picked it up, there's also those pamphlets that explain everything..."
It was just one thing after another back then, before he'd known everything... Frustrating, extremely frustrating, but he'd learned...despite having no interest in all this spiritual bullshit at first that he'd been pulled into... He'd eventually learned...
"It'll be for the best...if that girl develops some kinda power soon, that scarf's what's keeping her safe... If her signature grows, that's when it gets bad... She doesn't look like she has any kinda fighting skill...so..."
He'd had them, so he'd at least been able to fight and fight back when necessary... Looking at that Iseri chick... At best her options were to run...
Once summer hit again, or any type of hot weather that scarf would be a nuisance...
Gh-!?
.... "Whatever..." Fine, fine... He wasn't gonna break his nose though...
Hah? Amusing...? | |

| "I don't see the problem with it. Least you don't actually drag her down with your grumpiness like I taunted earlier." Tsuyoshi glanced over at Hibiki and stifled a laugh, wondering what the fuck his problem was with seeing this for how it really was. Why was this grump's thoughts so amusing? He'd be way more fun for everyone if he could just say all this shit outloud. "'Sides, any freaking retort you have is some sort of fucking sound. Just fyi, those aren't considered retorts by anyone but a mindreader."
He was distracted though as Hibiki spoke, eyebrow raising up before it froze there.
"...You are fucking with me. Pamphlets? Better keep em under wraps after that weird shit a bit back." Staring in disbelief, he wondered if he had jsut forgotten about something like that or if he really hadn't been informed about the rather official sounding items for super secret magical spirit powers shit. Did he miss a memo? "...Did Ikue get one at least? If she gets powers, I doubt its gonna be something that can help her though. Like yours sweetheart, but then I'm useless too for this shit so its..."
Humans were one thing, he could handle that. But weird power people? Unless he got creative there wasn't much he could do to just outright take things down. Useful for keeping hidden from the increasing amounts of officials looking out for that shit... But not so useful in being... Protective. He sighed, wanting another cigarette but resisting. "Watch out for her too? I know its a lot to ask, but if she needs help I doubt I can be more than bait."
Ignoring the rest of his thoughts, Tsuyoshi scuffed his foot on the ground and clenched his fist. Kids like these being able to do more than he could hurt his pride, but if it'd keep the innocent young woman he was getting attached to safe he'd beg really.

| "Tc-..." Instead of letting himself finish that, Hibiki turned his head away again. Retorts, whatever... He wasn't dragging Miyako down, as was already settled on, it was just dumb teasing...whatever... Wasn't a problem...
Hn?
"Ah...An...acquaintance works at a place that has 'em, the place deals with spiritual shit and items so there's pamphlets you can get...explains pretty much everything...
The shops pretty underground, so...s'not a problem." There was a cover for it and all, the damn bookstore... The only way people even knew there was a shop behind was if they were spiritually aware and could see the paint, which was only visible to those with awareness...
So it was pretty hidden...
"I don't really know if she did, Miyako might have given her one, we have a few so..." If they had some, Miyako was bound to have probably given Iseri one...
He hadn't seen Miyako give her one, but then again he didn't see much of Iseri to begin with, if he was around and she needed help or something...whatever, he'd see what he could do, and thus nodded in response to Tsuyoshi's request.

| "You thought whatever twice." Tsuyoshi chuckled and brought his hand to his face, brushing back his bang before shaking his head and ruining that brief attempt to look nice.
That was a good bit of information to know, but he picked up more than he should with that thought. Wasn't an acquaintance... Or was now? Pushing that aside, he attempted to forget or ignore it for now before nodding. "I might head there myself then, eventually. If your girl didn't, it'd be good to get one for Ikue then."
A hidden shop was better than nothing and perhaps...he'd look at it one time or another. Shooting Hibiki a grin, much softer than before, he took a step from the bench and waved his fingers.
"And thanks. I know you don't see her much but... Yeah, it sets me at ease knowing others are at least watching. With that I'll be heading out. Get that wound taken care of? Don't think she'd mind even if you crashed you two's fetishy job." It was time to be heading out anyways, so Tsuyo could get some lunch or early dinner... He didn't need Ikue seeing him dressed like this and asking questions, so he was preparing to leave...

| "Gh-..." ...
...S...So what! So fucking what if he'd thought the word whatever twice! S...So fucking what! Damn it!
He could think whatever the hell he wanted! Gh...gh..g... Whatever he wanted!
"A-Ah..." Yeah...visit the shop...ah-huh... He hadn't been there much himself, for obvious reasons, but there were useful things there that someone other than him may want or find they needed...
He'd watch out for Iseri when he could, and with that confirmation in mind he was about to give a nod to Tsuyoshi as he bid farewell before-
Gh-!? S-...Well...he couldn't deny it was a damn fan service job...still though...
The wound would be taken care of, w-whatever!
