Just For Practice [Open]

Miyako was hiding in one of the towns many parks. It seemed to have a lot of nature areas despite its large size, which was probably why a fine arts school was made here. Location after all. Lots of inspiration in the local life or wildlife for all sorts of creative endeavors.

Behind more than a few trees, she had noticed a whimpering sound and despite her lack of cover for her legs, had crawled into the bushes and back into the trees. No 'off the grass' or 'do not enter the woods' signs could keep her back when she heard something so pitiful.

Finding the poor hurt bunny, she knelt down and stared at her wrist. How... How did she get those... to work?! The first time had been an accident, but now when she needed them... The bunny was breathing heavy, wheezing from a wound in its side. It looked like something had tried to eat it...

Shaking her arm, the charm bracelet jingled as she frowned. "Work damn you! Ugh!"

It glowed softly as she shook her arm, maybe... A name came to mind and she called it. "Tenkai Sumi!"

With a small flash, the brushes appeared. Nine in all this time, she smiled as she gripped a smaller one and went to work. This little one needed help and well no one else was around! So...she wasn't breaking her promise!

How...dare he bribe him again...

Garbage's wife was making gyoza again, and knowing he couldn't turn it down, had invited him. Aito could only quietly utter angry grumbles as he made his way towards the apartment; he definitely wasn't wearing that damn cat hoodie again, he was dressed normally, though he still had on long sleeves.

He only had his coat so the cat could hitch a ride in the inner pocket; stupid heat though...

"Hn?" Aito stopped, glancing off towards the park he was walking by, clearly able to feel some power source. That was...

Miyako held the bunny as it slowly regained its focus. Her power faded away as she petted its soft fur, her fingers enjoying the feeling. It was almost like Regalia's! Smiling at the thought, she let the confused little bun hop off of her lap. It sat there on its hind legs, lifting up to sniff at her and twitch its ears before bounding off.

Taking that as a thank you, she giggled and covered her hand with her mouth. These powers were really nice to have if she could do something like this... Crawling out of the bush, she had no idea what direction she had come from. In fact it was taking a bit to get out...where was she headed? Crawling out right into someone's path and onto sidewalk, she gave a small yelp. Sitting up, she tried to brush the twigs and dirt from her before giving the person a smile. "Oops sorry! Oh! Hibiki hi!"

It was her new friend! With a happy laugh, she stood up, shedding more leaves and such from her body.

Just as he was about to head off Miyako popped from the bushes, he'd felt some power source but hadn't expected it to be her. The hell was she crawling around in the bushes for? Actually, never mind, he didn't need to know...

"Mn." Aito gave a nod at her greeting, not really knowing what more to say.

"Wow this is a coincidence." Miyako smiled up at Hibiki and hoped he hadn't noticed her using her power, she'd get in trouble wouldn't she? They had said to be careful but... She had wanted to help it.

The bush though behind her shuffled a bit, wriggling as something crawled through...and out popped the bunny she had saved. The little grey cutie hopped over to her and looked up, staring. Bending over, she petted its head but spoke quietly. "Go back little one I can't take you home!"

She glanced up at Hibiki nervously, before pushing it lightly away. The bunny seemed confused and resisted pushings, much to her dismay.

"A-Ah..." Aito gave a nod; he supposed it was a coincidence. They'd both encountered one another again...

Hearing a shuffling, his eyes moved to the bushes behind Miyako to see a rabbit crawl out, causing him to raise a brow, especially as it approached the girl as if it'd grown attached. He blinked, watching as she tried to push it away before glancing up at him.

Regalia simply poked her head out from the pocket, sensing a new presence and watching the bunny with curious eyes.

No matter how gently she pushed or moved it, the bunny did not want to leave her. It just hopped back when she picked it up and set it near the bush, nuzzling her foot. After several attempts, Miyako looked back up at Hibiki and sighed. "Can you help? It won't go back... I-I healed it. Is that a side effect?"

Maybe it felt...thankful? Maybe it felt safe with her now? Miyako was confused and the only one there was Hibiki, who seemed a bit dumbfounded to have found her. Regalia was peering out and she hoped the kitten wouldn't hurt the little bunny...

Help?

What was he supposed to do? It was clear that rabbit didn't want to budge...

"Uh..." Aito blinked, looking down at the thing, "Find a home for it? I guess...? That or ignore it..." From the looks of things it didn't want to be wild anymore...maybe? If that was the case though, the rabbit was out of luck.

"...Hmmm..." Miyako looked thoughtful for a moment... Ignoring it might lead it to get hurt again and she couldn't do that. Sighing, she scooped it up and held it to her chest in one hand. It was small so it fit in her hand. Twitching its ears in what she could only assume was a pleased action, she petted its head with her other hand for a moment.

Then moving to her coat, she quickly unbuttoned it halfway, revealing a corset like top with no straps. She did not have large boobs but they were enough that there was a soft space for the bunny there. Her pockets weren't big enough... Leaving the coat unbuttoned, she reached up and tugged her pigtail. "Sorry for that. I guess I get to find this little one a home now... You wouldn't happen to want it? She seems to."

Looking hopeful but not too much, she pointed at the kitten who was intensely interested in the bun.

"Aahh..." Aito stopped for a moment as Miyako gathered the small rabbit into her hold, moving it somewhere safe to carry. "Right now, I don't have a job, so..."

That and he didn't need a damn rabbit, he didn't mind them but...he already had a cat. With no job he barely had enough money right now to get himself and the cat by.

"Why don't you ask Okura to find it a home?" He suggested, "It's where I'm headed...now, her wife called me over because he's cooking stuff..."

"That would be bad then to put another burden on you." Miyako sighed and reached up to tug her pigtail more. Just why was it so hard to not get attached to things? The cute little bunny was sitting there, ears perked up and watching from her top.

Hibiki's suggestion was good and she gave him a bright smile, nodding. "Ah! Good idea! She might know someone who could... Can I go with you then? I'd like to meet her um wife too. He's like us right? Um a human with powers... Fullbringer?"

The pamphlet had been interesting and she had it stuffed in her small sketchbook today. There were a few spiritual human types but she could really only remember the one. Fullbringer... Something about hollows and infecting mothers...

"Mn...Yeah." If she wanted to tag along he didn't mind, same as last time with the pet shop thing; if she wanted to come, then she could. "Yeah...he's a fullbringer."

He guessed she'd been reading that pamphlet she'd been given if she knew the terms now. It'd keep her from getting killed at least, the information anyway...

"Thanks!" Miyako kept up her smiling, moving to follow Hibiki. "If I could I'd keep the little guy, but dorms don't let you have pets... And I can't find anywhere that has openings cheap enough for me to rent a place! Well, that's close enough to the school."

She chatted, knowing he probably wouldn't reply but she liked to talk to others. So as long as he'd let her, she'd talk to him. Taking bigger steps to keep up with him, she then moved onto another subject. "So whats he making? Is it good?"

"Mn..." He hadn't even bought his own apartment, that woman, Yuzuki had...and again, it was the cat's apartment mostly, that's the reason she'd bought it anyway.

When Miyako asked about the food, Aito gave a small, almost reluctant nod. "Gyouza."

Hibiki's nod seemed reluctant a bit, but the words he said made her laugh. "Aah! Homemade gyouza? Delicious! I wonder if they'll let me stay for dinner too... I don't want to have to eat at the cafeteria again if there's good food to be had~"

Miyako's mind was now on the delicious thought of gyouza, almost drooling. His hesitance though made her look back up at him in question. "Do you not like it?"

"Probably...he likes...having people over, I guess." Aito replied, though when she asked if he didn't like it he averted his eyes for a moment. "If I didn't like it I wouldn't even go..."

He was being bribed after all...

It was the only way to get him over there.

"Yay! Dinner!" Miyako gained a happy bounce to her step, refraining from actually hopping only due to the lil bunny she had. Hibiki's eyes turned to the side and Miyako noticed as he spoke about it.

"But you sound so upset about it. You like it but...don't want to go? But... you have to like it a ton to do that in the first place... So it must be REALLY good." Miyako followed that logic, making her more hungry... Seeing a candy shop, she pointed. "I should bring a gift to make up for showing up! Lemme run in and grab something okay? You want anything?"

She was buttoning up her jacket for now, the bunny falling asleep in the warmth. No one would know she had one~

"A-Ah..." He just...he did really like...gyouza, that was why he was going! He was being offered a meal with a favorite food, so he was going!

He stopped when Miyako stopped and noticed a candy store, though when she asked him about anything he shook his head, "I'm...I'm good."

Miyako smiled and ran off at Hibiki's words, he didn't anything so she wouldn't get him anything then. It took only moments, a box held in a bag while she came out with a large sucker in her mouth. Sliding it to her cheek in a chipmunk like motion, she spoke. "All done! Its rude to show up unannounced without some sort of present. I hope they like chocolate..."

Noticing something finally, her smile fell a bit. "Aww, was the kitty hoodie damaged? I thought I fixed it perfectly... Mm, maybe it can't fix things as well as I thought? Whats your power then?"

Aito waited outside while Miyako went and purchased things inside, glancing over towards the door when she came out with a bag. "Mn...Pretty sure they do."

When it came to those two there were usually always sweets, with homemade desserts and such.

The kitty hoodie...?

"It's fine, it's at home..." When she asked about his powers he had to avert his eyes again, after a momentary look of surprise crossed his face. "That...I don't...have any..."

Smiling when Hibiki's eyes glanced over, Miyako was just a ball of happiness when she heard that they would probably like it. Another happy little giggle and she walked with a bounce as they started off again, unbuttoning her coat to not smother the bunny.

"Oh thats good. It's really cool looking, where did you get one?" Miyako was staring up at Hibiki with a smile so she noticed his surprise easily. Her eyebrows scrunched together as she she took in his words and his glance away... Her eyes widened as she stared in shock. "Oh... Th-Then... You are really stupid! You... just ran at the monster with nothing to protect yourself?!"

That pamphlet had told her a lot, making what he had done more reckless. "You didn't even know I could do that either!"

"Grk-!" Stupid!? That... "I-I know how to fight, I was fine..."

He'd gotten hit, sure, but he would have been fine! The injury would have healed up and he would have gone on with his life! Even if she hadn't turned out to be a healer, he would have been fine! He could fight, he could kill, he just needed to fine the resources to do so when it came to hollows...

"It hurt you pretty bad. You'd have to have gone to the hospital..." Miyako teared up, looking up at Hibiki with sad otter eyes as she visibly drooped. He'd gotten hurt because of her and it was all her fault.

...Though it was scary to think what would have happened... What if she had been alone when it grabbed her?

Shuddering visibly, her hands came over her arms as she rubbed them comfortingly.

"..." He resisted his usual tic, his hand itching to move to his hair.

Really, the damn thing hadn't been a problem...He would have been fine, he'd had worse before; the hollow was dead now anyway, him getting hurt worse was just a what-if situation now.

"There was no problems then? It fixed you up all right?" Miyako looked down at his chest, wondering if Hibiki was entirely healed but never wanting to see him with his shirt off so she wasn't asking to see.

Just...she wanted to be sure. Very sure. If he was having problems... maybe she should...try to fix him more.
