So I was at work, sitting at my desk as usual, when suddenly I felt like someone was sitting on my chest. I thought I was having an asthma attack, because it was hard to breath, my chest was tight, and the usual panic that sets in. I took my inhaler out of my bag and tried taking in deep breaths to use it, but I just couldn't. It felt like someone was stabbing me in the left side of my chest. So I told my dad, and he and I left work and went up the road the the ER. Well, after sitting in the lobby for a bit, literally suffocating, we finally saw the doctor. I see the doctor, and the did an xray of my chest, and it showed that my left lung was about 12% collapsed.
So. They took this long as needle, and stabbed me in the side, and re-inflated my lung. This is where the story gets good folks. The doctor then proceeds to tell me that collapsed lungs are fairly common for males my height and build, and that if it happens within a year to come back and they'll do surgery. So he gave me some bomb ass drugs and sent me home. >_>
