As Masaru had expected, he had fun making breakfast with Mia, he always enjoyed cooking and such, so getting to do so with Mia just made him feel like it was even more enjoyable.

The pork bowls had an appetizing smell to them, and he couldn't help but smile when they finished. He gathered what else they'd need for breakfast such as drinks and such before it was time to move everything to the dining room.

"Hopefully it'll be to your taste." He said, glancing over to Mia, his smile still warm on his face.

Mia could not be happier, cooking with Masaru made her just utterly warm inside. It was more fun to cook with others and...especially with Masa. She had been a smiling happy mess the whole time. It was her favorite after all!

As Masa looked over, Mia grew red. He would notice she had already had a piece in her mouth and was chewing in her happiness and excitement. She had...maybe...bent her head down...to take a piece out...and maybe... had sauce on her face from this.

Mia could not look at Masa as she helped him carry things to the dining room. To be caught doing something like that! B-But pork bowls...were her favorite... Chewing slowly, she nodded once she had finished. "V-Very...good..."

Masaru turned to face Mia once in the dining room, when he did however he had to resist a chuckle, but there was a smile on his face. There was a bit of sauce on her face...

"I'm really glad." He replied, taking his napkin once things were settled on the table before leaning in to wipe the stray sauce from her face. "Got it~" He added, his smile brightening a little. "You had some on you."

Mia smiled at Masa, glad he wasn't upset at her lack of manners. Just...pork bowls. They were very delicious and Masa's cooking was always amazing... She was wrapped up in those thoughts that when she felt a napkin on her face she had to look up in shock. Masa's voice was... That sweet tone! Oh no!

Letting out an eep, she turned deeply red and glanced away. "Th-Thank you! S-Sorry..."

Masaru allowed himself to give a small chuckle this time, though rather than amused it held a happy air before he shook his head, "You don't need to apologize. It's perfectly alright, but welcome."

He hadn't minded wiping that spot for her, he'd wanted to.

"All right..." Mia nodded, smiling warmly at Masa. He had...wanted to. Her face was still beat red but she couldn't help that, instead she chose to focus on the happy chuckle Masa gave. He just seemed so happy, she kept being happy herself.

Grabbing the chopsticks, she shot him another warm smile before starting to eat. The food was too tempting and she had a rather happy aura as she took another bite, a pleased little sigh escaping. "Aah so good. Masa, you make the best pork bowls..."

Masaru's smile was warm in return as Mia nodded; he moved to eat himself, taking his own chopsticks to his bowl. It was good, he was pleased with how the pork bowls had turned out and from the looks of things Mia seemed to really enjoy it as well.

At Mia's words, he couldn't help but feel a slight tint to his cheeks; she liked it enough to say best...

Mia was too busy enjoying the pork bowl to notice Masa's tiny blush. She obviously loved it, devouring the whole thing with ravished hunger. She hadn't gotten food yesterday after her activities, all of them...

Pushing the rather nice thoughts that are not appropriate for breakfast, Mia smiled at Masa before remembering something important... Oh no! Blushing, she reached into her robe only to realize it wasn't there. "Oh! I can't stay all day, Masa. I have a work shift today, it should start around... four, its a short one to cover for someone else s-so if you wanted...me to come back after... I wonder what time it is?"

Her voice grew nervous part of the way through before...curiosity struck. How late in the morning was it?

"A-Ah, work. Right." Masaru replied, after having quickly swallowed a bite from his food. "It's perfectly alright if you want to come back...Time...It's..."

Masaru looked around, looking for the clock before his eyes finally landed on it and...he froze. It...was almost one. That...That wasn't morning at all...

Mia's smile was warm and she reached up to hide it with her hand, not wanting Masa to see how much his words meant to her. She...would come back. She liked being by his side.

Masa's frozen state though caused Mia's eyes to follow his with a curious sound before she too froze. "O-One!? That late!? H-How?"

How indeed...

How was it this late already!? Had...They'd overslept!? How!? This...It was already almost one!? He...he was late...late...late...

It was then one of the servants, who'd been busy cleaning, noticed the rather shocked two at the dining room table. They were worried about work and the time? They hadn't been informed yet? With a mental sigh he approached Masaru, giving a polite bow to the two before informing the head and Mia that there wasn't anything to worry about.

"Called in...aha...I see, thank you." Masaru replied, a sheepish laugh following as the servant gave another bow and smile before they moved to get back to cleaning.

Mia cowered as the servant came closer. She leaned back in her chair, slowly slipping out of it and under the table. Hiding under there, a small positive and thankful sound came from the hiding woman. Once the servant was gone, her voice sounded a bit wavery. "Y-Yeah...thats...good...means... I don't...have to leave..."

Masaru turned to face Mia, not seeing...looking down, he noticed she'd moved to hide; with a soft smile, nodding at her words, he offered his hand to help her from her hiding spot now that it was just the two of them again.

"It's a huge relief, I'm glad we don't have to worry now." He replied, his smile brightening a bit. "Mhmm, that means you can stay."

Mia saw the hand and...moved to take it. Masa's hand was warm and kind, so she held it as he helped her out and up once again. Standing, she held his hand to her chest and looked down at the floor... She was ashamed of her instinct to hide. It was a huge relief and the person had been so nice to tell them...

Maybe he'd like... well she'd like to spend the day with him and she had wanted to hear him play... So maybe this could get rid of her awkward air? Speaking softly, she took a step closer to Masa and squeezed the hand she never let go of. "Mm... Y-You can...show me your piano? You promised to and today seems like it'd be nice..."

"Piano?" Masaru replied, though he gave a nod, his smile returning after a moment of thought. "That's not a problem, I'd be happy to."

He had promised, and Mia was right, today seemed like a good day to do so. It would be nice to play as well, some music could be relaxing after all.

They could take their dishes back to the kitchen for cleaning and then be on their way then.

That...that was good and made her so happy. She'd get to see Masa's piano and hear him play it!Mia let go of Masa's hand finally, getting enough courage to leave his side and move to the dishes. Helping to clean up and take the dishes to the kitchen, she gave a teeny tiny hop of excitement in the kitchen alone with him. Then she took his hand, unable to speak right now because of a shy attack and leaned against him lightly so he could lead her to the music room.

With the dishes handled, they could get to the piano; as Mia took his hand, and leaned against him, Masaru's smile was all warmth, obviously happy as he held on to her hand and led her to where everything was.

The room he brought them too was rather large, a bit farther into the mansion than other things. There were a few various instruments, one of them being a rather nice, large piano; there was a sliding door behind it, and if one wanted a bit of sunshine while playing that could be easily obtained.

"Well, this is it." Masaru said, sliding the door they'd come through shut behind them.

Mia glanced up a few times as they walked, enjoying Masa's quiet company and his smile. It gave her butterflies in her stomach to see such a happy one on him. He was so happy lately... she hoped it was in part because of her. She somewhat knew it had to be despite her...misgivings about such arrogance. Masa had said so...so it must be true.

As Masa opened the door, she let out a happy gasp. This room... a real music room! As he slid the door shut, she bounded off to look at everything with a pleased laugh. "Its so pretty! Your instruments, and the piano especially. Look, you can open the door and let sunlight in!"

Mia spun in a circle on one foot, the happiest little grin on her face as she took in the whole room.

Masaru gave a happy laugh at Mia's excitement, she'd brightened just upon seeing it all. That little spin too, it'd been cute, a thought he couldn't help but have as he walked further into the room, approaching the piano.

"Mhmm, whenever I come here I like knowing I can let in some sun...to me...I just don't think it'd be as nice if this were to be a room without any doors or windows. It gave a since of clarity at times, and it was refreshing."

He wasn't entirely fond of rooms without windows in the first place, with only one exit...but that mostly applied to small rooms, this one was plenty big enough, and it had the doors at the back...so it seemed perfect to keep the instruments in.

Masa's laugh made her turn back to shine her smile on him, he was just as pleased to be here! That was good. His words had her agreeing, sunshine was nice...it suited this room perfectly. Moving to the door, she opened it just a bit so the afternoon sun shined inside for them. "Like this? Oh wow, its so much prettier like that."

She had turned to see the Piano and Masa and both covered in sunlight were...gorgeous as she moved back to his side and gave him a smile as she stared right up. "It definitely is much better... I see why you like having the windows and doors... Wait do you mean...back then?"

A hand moved to his cheek and she leaned up on her tippy toes to see if he'd move down for a kiss... She felt weird just pulling his head down but...kiss... A soothing kiss for him. He had so many awful memories...

"Just like that. Hm? Ah, well...I like having windows, or doors in rooms. Something more that isn't just a one-way exit." Masaru replied, but before he could get anymore out, Mia had approached him, and pulled him down. He responded to the kiss, it was nice and when he had the chance to, he gave her a soft smile.

His hand moved to her head, stroking her head softly as he moved to seat himself in front of the piano.

"...I understand." Mia's voice was soft, her smile matching his before it morphed into a worried one. Exits, he needed exits. She would have to remember that. Her closets would probably bother him then, she'd be really careful with Masa... protect him as best she could.

Leaning against his hand, she gave him another happy little grin as he sat. She closed her eyes, tilted her head and held up a finger. "Now I get to hear Masabutt's famous playing~"

Unintentionally Masaru's hands pressed down on the keys, his expression obviously caught off guard and surprised as she said...

Where had she heard that...that name!?

"M-Masa?" Mia blinked, a small frown replacing her smile as he reacted badly to something. Worried for him, her forehead creased as she bent to fully eye level with him. Violet eyes stared right into Icy blue ones, looking for some sign of what she could do to help. With his words earlier, she was worried and a hand went to his cheek.

"M....M-Mia...? Where did...you hear that name from? Aha..." His smile was a bit forced, but...just...ask. That's all he needed to do, if he told Mia how he felt she would listen, he had faith in that. He definitely had faith in that...
