Only Losers Get Sick

Kaimu sat in place as Lakshmi moved him, leaning back into his seat while he waited for Lakshmi to get the ice cream she'd mentioned. He was eating nothing but junk almost this morning, but...but he needed it...

His eyes moved to the bowl as it was set in front of him and he situated himself more properly in his seat.

"Thanks..." He replied; this would help, yes.

"No getting comfy just yet." Lakshmi moved her chair sideways and plopped herself down, patting her chest again. "Lean back against me~"

He could rest against her and eat his ice cream in the mopiest way if he wanted. Maybe it might help, maybe not... but she wanted it at least.

Without any fuss, he did as asked and rested his head back against Lakshmi like she wanted. The ice cream was good, so was Lakshmi's help in comforting him; he could mope easily like this.

He wasn't going to think about anything that'd happened earlier. He wasn't going to think about the love talk, or the obvious confessions that'd happened, or the reiatsu, or the fact that he provoked...

Another whine ended up escaping him as his mind once again betrayed him.

Lakshmi had a spoonful of her own ice cream and was about to take a bit...but hearing that small whine made her sigh. She lowered the spoon down to his mouth with a smile, too amused at his reaction to really feel bad for the man.

"Mmm, these whines need help that only ice cream can give. Open wide~" Her voice was a bit teasing but... it was still very kind. She was not in a mean teasing mood at least.

Opening his mouth as he was asked to, Kaimu ate the spoonful Lakshmi offered it to him; she was teasing a bit, but...it wasn't any kind of harsh teasing, so he was fine. Just ice cream and Lakshmi, no thinking about other things...just this...

"Aaah. Kai is stealing food from his breeding lover. How cruel..." Lakshmi chuckled a bit, taking her spoon and stealing some ice cream from his bowl in return for having given him a spoonful from hers. Maybe she could distract him?

"I have taken my revenge."

"Ehh...but Lak-tan offered..." Kaimu replied; she'd offered, so he'd eaten the bite!

His eyes glanced over to the bowl that was his as Lakshmi took a spoonful from it and ate as "revenge."

"See...no harm done..."

"Mm, no harm now but what if it had been my last spoonful?" Lakshmi set the spoon in her mouth for a moment and sighed, looking off into the distance with a forlorn expression. "I would gladly give my last ice cream all for Kai's sake if he needed or desired..."

Taking the spoon from her mouth after a minute of being a goof, Lakshmi took another few bites and smiled. Being an adult was amazing at times. Such a wonderful breakfast.

"Then I would find more food and feed it to you myself." Kaimu replied just a short moment after; they could always get more ice cream and all kinds of other foods. It wouldn't be a problem, not a problem at all.

"But that was my ice cream. Nothing can replace it ever." Lakshmi sighed deeply, taking another spoonful from his bowl and holding it up to his lips to eat. He could feed himself but she was doing distractions.

"It was the most important spoonful of ice cream."

"You can have the next package of ice cream to yourself then...all Lak-tan's...." There was nothing that could be done to salvage the already eaten ice cream, there was more ice cream around but they were talking about a hypothetical situation...

Even if it was the most important...

"I do not think that is suitable recompense." Shaking her head solemnly, she continued to feed the both of them ice cream and hid her amusement at Kaimu's distracted state. "I would have to be allowed your last and most important bite of ice cream in return... Maybe off of your chest~"

"Go ahead, if that's what you want." Kaimu answer; his last bite off his chest then, seemed fine to him. "Just as long as my chest isn't left too sticky..."

If she wanted to eat it from there she'd need to be thorough in doing so.

"Eeeh? If I have to make sure its not left sticky I think I'd want to eat it off somewhere lower. Like your stomach or abdomen... Much more fun to clean up." Lakshmi flushed very softly but covered it up with her words. Not that he could see her from his position...

"We have a deal then~ I get to eat ice cream off of you now."

"That's fine then, whichever you want." Kaimu gave a nod against her chest, perfectly fine with this deal they had made. She would be allowed to eat ice cream off of him then.

"It's a deal."

"I did not know I was allowed to eat things off of Kai... this is a fun and interesting development..." Lakshmi murmured, mostly to herself. She was reaching the end of her bowl and her coffee had grown cold...

"...Are you feeling a bit better, love?" Lakshmi petted his head after setting the spoon aside.

"You can." Kaimu gave another small nod before finally moving, eating the last bite of his own ice cream from his bowl himself as Lakshmi spoke again.

He gave a small nod, yes he was feeling fine Lakshmi had definitely helped with his freak out over...

A look of horror crossed his face for a split second before he attempted to shake the thought; no, he wasn't thinking about anything!

"Kai! You thought of it again! You need to stop. It is okay." Lakshmi's arms wrapped around Kaimu, holding him against her as her head laid down against his. She kissed the crown of his head and shook hers a bit. "It is perfectly okay... I love you and I am right here to help you. What...what exactly bothers you? Maybe talking it out will help?"

"...So...soon..."

It was all just happening so soon! Not...Not the fact that it was realized love, his own realization had been pretty fast, but...but...

He'd met his daughter...already with a boyfriend, and now it was love...and...

It...It wasn't anyone's fault, just-!

"You really attached to her so quickly... Probably her innocent nature." Lakshmi smiled and shook her head again. The arms holding him shifted a bit so one could come up to cup his cheek. Her thumb rubbed it gently, smiling into his hair a bit.

"She is a grown woman...even if you are protective over her she has the right to do that... and well... the more you push it in your own head that Masaru is a good choice, the more your brain might accept it. You are just... well lucky she hadn't been with others before him." Lakshmi nuzzled his head a bit before continuing. "With her looks and charm, if she hadn't been hiding she might have had all sorts f suitors."

"It's not anyone's fault...I know..." Kaimu replied; "I know she's grown...it just felt sudden, so it's me..."

Shirakawa was a good choice, he knew that, he just had to beat it in his head some more and just...maybe after a time things would be fine for him! It'd just...take...time...

"Grk- Lak-taaaan...." Kaimu, unable to help it, whined some at her last statement; her nuzzles helped some, so he couldn't whine too much...

"It is you... And it is rather sudden... but I think they will be happy, and the more you see them being happy despite how much it bothers you... the better you will feel later." Lakshmi kissed his head a few times and laughed. "Just let it all out now and one day you will be fine."

"You know I am starting to develop a rather pavlovian response to you whining my name like that. It makes me wish to make you do so more~" Lakshmi teased, her voice lowering to a soft whisper as she spoke.

Kaimu whined some further, though he looked a bit surprised for a short second as Lakshmi teased him; she wanted to make him whine more...

"Lak-taan..." It was still a whine, mostly at her teasing now; if she wanted him to whine more he would need to be in...in moods like this, that wasn't good!

"Kaaaai-taaaan~" Lakshmi mimicked him again, her voice whining just slightly before she smiled. "I can only do it when you are like this! I have to take advantage of it. Even when I tease you in bed you do not come anywhere near close to this cute whining~"

"I am glad my pain is taken so seriously..." He stated, though it was obvious he didn't mean that in any bad way. "Nnn...."

He needed to get over this, forgot about things and just...stash all the thoughts that had him like this in the first place away!
