Only Losers Get Sick

Mia was torn... comfy...or...or...worry over being seen...

Comfy...or...

Mia's legs slid under the blanket as she blushed, moving to cuddle back up to Masaru once she was fully under the blanket with him. "...Y-You'll just...have to make sure...all the important parts are covered with you or the blanket if I sleep..."

Yeah...yeah this was a good plan... Her face buried itself in his chest.

J-Just...make sure no one...sees anything...

"R-Right..." Masaru nodded as Mia cuddled back up to him now that she was under the covers. He reached out some to pull the covers around them more properly before his arms went back around her in a hold.

He'd just...make sure no one...that came in...saw anything.

Snuggled up like this, it was hard for her mind to focus on anything but the happiness she felt. Mia loved Masaru and he loved her in turn.

She giggled very softly, smiling and holding his sleeping robe with both hands before one went around his body. Holding him to her as much as he was holding her, she nuzzled his chest softly. She was allowed to say it right? "I...can... can I say it as much as I want?"

Like with kissing...

Masaru relaxed after a moment or two, closing his eyes as he attempted to rest some more as well; both of them needed the rest, after all.

His eyes opened again as he heard Mia giggle, unable to help but smile as he felt her arms move around him before she asked...

"O-Of course you can..." It was obvious what she was asking; of course she could...could say it whenever she wanted...

"I love you!" Mia declared into Masaru's chest once he had given her permission. She cowered a bit shyly after such an outburst but...but she wanted to...

Masaru was relaxed and it was relaxing Mia... She was tired, sleeping badly having thrown her off. She had slept badly and with Masaru right here... she felt odd thinking it but when she smelled his scent she was soothed and calmed. It normally meant being pressed right against him but...

"You smell...really good..." Muttering softly, she nuzzled against Masaru more.

"I love you too." Masaru replied, giving Mia a small squeeze against him before he kissed her head; she'd...said it like that...he couldn't help but blush.

He relaxed again, closing his eyes for a few moments, though once again he had to open them due to Mia's words.

Sm-Smelled good!?

He...He still needed a bath though! He...he'd probably been sweating some thanks to the fever and...and...

"H...How...c-can I?"

Mia's reaction to Masaru's words was another giggle and a closer snuggle to him. She was flustered by them, but she also really liked hearing it.

Masaru's startled reaction to her pronouncement left her confused. She fidgeted a bit before replying... "Well... its um... like you have a smell... and even with shampoo and body wash...it still is there... and I recognize it...and its...relaxing to me... I like it..."

How was she supposed to explain pheromones and nasal sensory mechanics while half asleep in bed!?

"A...Ah...I was j-just concerned since I haven't..." After resting a bit he'd definitely need to shower or something, they'd have to let him out of this bed for that.

For now...since he wasn't bothering Mia or anything, would rest.

"Mm-mm...you don't smell bad..." Mia nuzzled against his chest, reassuring Masaru and not... explaining more thankfully. She kept her eyes shut, wrapped in his arms as she snuggled up for a nap...

Exhausting...it was exhausting being in love... all those freak outs...

"Alright...T-That's good then..."

Once that concern was out of the way, for now anyway, Masaru shut his eyes again as Mia snuggled up to him. He nuzzled her head slightly, giving her another kiss there before gave a small breath; rest now...rest was good, definitely good.

Mia smiled and gave Masaru a pleased murmur as he nuzzled and kissed her head. It was comfortable like this... She felt her eyes growing heavy as she started to drift off, her breathing slowing as she rested like Masaru had wanted earlier.

She was content with things in her life...

Under the covers and with Mia snuggled against him, it didn't take long for Masaru to fall into a light sleep himself...which eventually became a deeper slumber as the minutes passed.

He was completely comfortable, and they both needed the rest...

Lakshmi yawned and ruffled her hair. Wearing her usual pajamas with the small silk robe over top of it, she smelled coffee and breakfast foods. Having left the child upstairs still asleep she followed her nose sleepily down the stairs and through this section of the mansion until she came to the kitchen. Blinking she saw...

Was that... Kaimu sobbing...into ice cream? More than a little bewildered, Lakshmi yawned as she entered the room. "Did...Did you get dumped? I do not recall...doing so..."

Kaimu was rather...dead to the world due to his whiny misery, his head only turning to Lakshmi when he heard her address him.

"Lak-taaaan...it's them..." He tried to explain in the whiny tone he'd had for awhile now.

All that love advice, now...

Their reiatsu had calmed, but it he'd still felt it when it was flaring strong!

Lakshmi was not awake enough to understand what was going on, she yawned and headed for the coffee pot before pouring herself a large mug of it. Pouring obscene amounts of sugar into it, she then put a large helping of creamer into it before moving to the table where Kaimu was ruined.

She sipped it as she sat down, her hand on Kaimu's back as she looked down at him. Her eyes were still foggy with sleep as she smiled softly, whining Kaimu was always a treat and he was especially whiny. "Them? What is them and what are they doing?"

"Shirakawa and Mia..." Kaimu replied as Lakshmi sat down and questioned him. "L-Last night...I had the...love talk...with Mia..."

Out of any sort of conversation they could have had...it had to be the love talk. Sure, love was great; it was better than never having it, but...but...

"Then...this morning I...I...Shirakawa too..."

Lakshmi sipped her coffee, nodding sagely in her sleepy way. She knew the young woman loved Masaru, it had been so very obvious... Kaimu probably had been the only one in denial out of the people who weren't involved.

Rubbing his back in circles, she let him speak more before choking on her coffee and spluttering after spitting it out accidentally across the table. She coughed, setting her mug down.

He'd had to have it with Masabutt too!? Oh, poor poor Kai... She needed air, but laughter was welling up too as she coughed out the coffee that had probably entered her lungs in her shock.

"I...I think they said because...their reiatsu earlier...eughhhh..." He whined further, turning his head back to the table in a mopey fashion just as Lakshmi began coughing, which caused his head to turn back to see if she was alright -- he was mopey but he couldn't ignore that...

"...Oh...Oh no I like those bedsheets!" Lakshmi had recovered enough to be horrified, those were some of her favorite ones and now they would be tainted.

Rubbing Kaimu's back soothingly, she scooted her chair closer and turned so she was facing him. She was frowning up a storm, but Kaimu... poor Kaimu. She could tease him later about having caused this and being a father figure to Masaru as well...

Wrapping her hands around him slightly, she tugged the poor pouty man down onto her chest. He seemed to like it when she did that. "There there... It will be okay..."

"Not that!" Obviously that was a worry but...but they wouldn't be foolish enough...now...when Shirakawa was...They were smarter than that right!?

As Lakshmi attempted to comfort him he whined further, even as she pulled him to her chest. This...This morning was too much...

"..." Lakshmi reached up and played with Kaimu's hair, smiling a bit as she kept all her laughter away. This was...this was way too amusing. "I see then."

With her other hand, the woman took her mug of coffee and drank a bit more before speaking. "Well...despite how much more this will annoy you... thank you. You kind of...did the fatherly thing for both of them, so even if Masaru can not thank you himself I will do so in his place."

Her roundabout way of saying he had been a dad to Masaru in this instance too.

"Nn..." Kaimu only gave muttered responses to answer Lakshmi with, it wasn't like he could speak much anyway...anything he said would likely come out muffled, and that mixed with his whine would likely make it unintelligible.

He'd...just...they were stressing out about it before, and it had been ridiculous...

Lakshmi smiled and bent to kiss Kaimu's head. He was annoyed and upset and she let him be that way, he was allowed to show these emotions and be this way! It wasn't as if he hadn't helped the pair in the first place... He had done the right thing and not hurt them.

Setting her half drank cup of coffee on the table, she brought both hands to his hair and undid the tie holding it closed. Playing with his hair with both hands, she spoke softly. "Do you want more ice cream? I can get you some. Or anything else? You don't have to speak just nod or shake your head."

She was amused by this whole reaction, but it...was nice seeing Kaimu being open.

It might help...

The food muffled his whining anyway, so it helped in that area...

In response to Lakshmi, with those thoughts in mind, he gave a small nod; yes, he could muffle himself by keeping his mouth full and just...slowly get over things...slowly.

Very slowly.

Lakshmi let go of Kaimu and gently pushed him away before getting up and moving over to the fridge. Now what kind did she want... If he was going to be eating ice cream she was going to have some too. It was not a nutritious breakfast but... It wasn't as if Kaimu was in any state to argue with her~

Taking the cookie dough ice cream out, Lakshmi scooped some into bowls for the pair of them before getting a spoon for herself. Then she moved back to the table and set them both down, scooting her chair right up to his so she could sit with him. "Here, more ice cream to soothe you."
