Lakshmi stared at Kaimu, turning her darkest color as the man...did not confirm or deny but instead grinned. His chuckle only cemented it. Her hand went up to her mouth, covering it for a moment as she tried not to squeak and failed. The hand then fell again, unable to hold itself up any longer.

This...was why he had been like this...protecting her and caring for her. He'd wanted to talk to her because he knew her from...from later on... She was...the family waiting for him and he... Its why he knew everything was worth it, that it'd be hard but it would be...

That...young man... She would be...his...his..."S-So...you are...my husband..."

"I-I threw curry buns at...at my future husband?! I am...I am such a stupid person! Aaaaaaah!" Her face grew more panicked as her hands held her cheeks and she shifted her head from side to side.

"I ate the buns!" He didn't mind if she'd tossed the bag at him, seriously! "You're not stupid! The buns are delicious!"

"D-Don't worry about the curry buns, really!" Damn pull! He was speaking quickly, not knowing when that damn portal would appear again.

Lakshmi stuttered, attempting a reply since Kaimu seemed all flustered... He was...her... And she'd tossed...

"O-Oh! That's...that's good then...Th-Thank you... I am glad you liked...liked them..." Kaimu had enjoyed...them? He was really...really handsome... Lakshmi's face was burning but she was unable to help it. Should...what was she supposed to do now though? If he hadn't wanted them meeting... it would be bad... to...

"I-I won't worry about...about the buns." She smiled, sweetly and shyly for the man now that she had no idea how to act around him. How...did... Wait... "K-Kai? Is something...something wrong?"

Good, she wouldn't worry about the buns, she wouldn't worry about the curry buns that he'd said, and had enjoyed eating! That was good, great even!

"Ahaha, whatever...whatever is keeping me here...it's pulling at me again..." He attempted to explain, "I'm fighting it right now! I'm... Well, it's either gonna send me somewhere else, or I'm about to go home, maybe!"

Saying that, said portal opened a very...very close distance from him.

"Hopefully I can go home, my family's probably worried after all! Hehe..." He gave a sheepish grin, though it was obvious he was fighting the pull he'd mentioned now. He didn't want this Lakshmi to be too worried. "I enjoyed the curry buns! They were delicious~!"

Shit, he couldn't...anymore...but...

But first...

With the last bit of fight he had left in him, he leaned forward, pressing his lips to Lakshmi for a short moment before pulling away and giving a laugh; "Good luck, Lak-tan~!"

Saying that, he stopped fighting, letting that pull take over him and he made his mostly unwanted leave.

"H-Huh!?" Lakshmi's shock was obvious from her face and the sound she made at Kaimu's words. If...he was being pulled then he should go! She reached out to him about to say those words, determination in her eyes when she noticed the creepy portal behind him. That would lead him home?! Her hands dropped, but she turned back to Kai to try and push him forward and send him on his way when... "Good...Goodbye then, you should definitely go the-"

Lips, his face had been so close and then... a kiss, a nice, heart racing kiss. A laugh too, causing Lakshmi to merely squeak and wave as Kaimu left... She...hadn't gotten to reply to him... His good luck ringing in her ears, as the portal and the man vanished all thoughts of that left her. Instead she was sitting in a closet, feeling incredibly flustered... wondering why she had visited and then tossed those curry buns at the quiet young man in her class...

She was burning up, maybe a fever? She had best go home... The young woman felt she was coming down with something...
