"I now have fans... hm wind chimes would be rather annoying to carry around. How about something portable?" Lakshmi was smiling and Kaimu's playful smile and laughter earned him a small kiss to his chest after snapping her fan closed. She had a happy air and aura around her, too pleased to want to stop for now.

Still something was bothering her. She sighed and looked around, curiosity and excitement in her eyes. "Are you sure there are not ones run by gangsters or underground gambling dens going on? All the stories I read of festivals include such things! I think. It would definitely be exciting."

Lakshmi had been a rather good and pure person before Kaimu came along...not much excitement in the way of those 'darker' things.

Wind chimes, if they wanted them, could come later then! For now, portable things...

Kaimu went to think on what would be nice to win, they had fans, but other portable things... Hm, there were plenty of prizes to obtain, as he'd rattled off a few earlier. They weren't in need of toys or anything though, not this early...red flags, right there. For themselves...

"P-Probably, there's probably some around..." He'd said it was rare earlier, but... it really wasn't considering black markets. "Gangster run areas would offer prizes like things available in the human world, or other black market good a Rukon citizen should not be able to obtain under legal circumstances...

He had attempted to avoid such areas because they were dangerous, even if he and Lakshmi were perfectly capable, it could have dampened their night! Lakshmi...she seemed really excited though...

"What is wrong Kai? I did think it would be interesting to see such things... I would not ask or bother if I was not with you however." Lakshmi sensed a bit of the man's hesitation, but also seemed to radiate dim sparkles as he spoke. "Those from the living world as well? You said they had more choices of prizes... Would that not be fun?"

She wouldn't bother with any of this but it was Kaimu's former life... She wished to know what kind of places and situations he had been in as well as what kind of life it had been. Sure the man had done enough on the up and up as well, such as the shops and her clinics but still he had been stuck with such fallbacks on the darker side of things really.

"It would be safe with you to help me. None of them would be able to harm me in the least either, though if you fear for yourself I am sure I can extend my protection to you as well." She smirked a bit, playing with her fan by unfolding it with a snap and taking Kaimu's hand in her free one. "These are flimsy enough fans but even I could use one as a weapon if I needed. Not to mention all my other abilities..."

"Ahah, It would be, considering there's a wider selection of things to win, I was just-" That...smirk and tone; "I can protect us both no problem!" He quickly.

He could protect the both of them! Lakshmi wouldn't have to worry about doing such a thing! She was teasing him, but he'd taken the bait easily.

Black market run stalls...hn...

Those would probably be more towards the back ends of the festival, as it was only smart to attempt to be secretive in case patrolling officers were around.

"It is settled then! To the more exciting, though no more fun, parts of the festival." Lakshmi sensed her ultimate victory, hiding her smug smile behind the fan. Kaimu would take her to those sections he had been a bit less willing to before, due to odd reasons she bet, and they could enjoy all aspects of the festival.

These fans were genius, now she could do so many things involving hiding her face... Her eyes glittered almost like bright diamonds as she beamed at Kaimu lovingly. "You shall lead the way then, my loving fun guide? Maybe they have some illegal gambling going on. That would be exciting to see! Or other such things... Ah, I have never experienced any of this before. It should be interesting."

More than interesting, extremely fun. Lakshmi wondered if it was anything like stories had made it out to be...

"Right~! To the more exciting then~!" Kaimu grinned; with that said, he began leading them towards the less populated parts of the festival! The shadier the better then! Ahahaha-!

He led them farther into the festival grounds, and eventually less lights lit their way, only a very few. It was...definitely not a main festival area, but there were still a few select people around, mostly adults...

Lakshmi wanted to see...the black market sides of things, then she would see them!

There were a few stalls open, a bit away from the main grounds and people were whispering rather obviously to each other, some of them with their backs turned to the pair...making deals Kaimu presumed.

Lakshmi followed, the fan snuck back up her sleeve for the moment as she smiled up at Kaimu. He seemed happier now, pleased to be taking her there instead of oddly hesitant before. As the lights became less frequent, Lakshmi moved closer to Kaimu not really out of fear but because of the atmosphere. Her fingers twined between his as she smiled, looking around curiously.

Quite a few less people were around, all adults or mostly, her eyes taking in all the details. The shady whispering, the few stalls... The darker atmosphere... How amazingly exciting!

She looked around with more and more curiosity as wel as innocence that would be obvious to literally anyone who looked at her. She quite frankly did not belong one bit, looking more like a princess taken out on a trip by her bodyguard to experience fun shenanigans in bad places.

"So which game then? Or...do we do other things? I am not sure how to act or anything..." The last time she had been with Kaimu in such a place, she could have pretended to be something else. But this time she was too happy and excited to even pretend one bit.

Kaimu glanced around after Lakshmi had asked that, what to do... If any questions were asked, or if anyone realized they were shinigami, he could at least claim rogue. He wasn't one anymore, but...it was something to say. An explanation.

They neared one stall, a ring toss one almost...hehe, kind of a childish concept, but the prizes... There were electronics from the world of the living, a gaming device? There were recorders, devices...

"Ne, Lak-tan~? Anything of interest?" He asked, giving a smile; the man was dealing with a conversation with someone else, so for now they were given no mind.

Led towards a ring toss game, Lakshmi smiled up at Kaimu in return before turning to examine the prizes. "Mmm, let us see... I spot a rather nice camera, a few interesting little gaming devices... I do not need those though... and a... A..."

Lakshmi was holding a hand to her mouth, her eyes wide with shock and utter amusement. Oh my a 'back massager'. Those devices that were touted to help with backs but were really secretly for other...things...

Unable to hide her amusement and trying not to laugh, she leaned against Kaimu for a moment. " I found two things of great interest Kai-tan~ Do you think you could win them both for me? And also...please ask the stall owner if he... knows what the one that is oddly shaped there is. It is for science."

She had to know if the man running the stall knew what that was as she pointed to the 'back massager" for Kaimu's sake. She had to get that bright pink contraption! And the camera.

Kaimu blinked though gave a nod to Lakshmi, "I'll see about winning both~ I'm quite god at ring toss games, just like the shooting ones~"

He was sure if he paid a nice amount he could win both, it was all about points after all~

Once the man left that the stall owner had been dealing with, Kaimu approached the stall, looking over the prizes before turning to smile at the owner. The man noticed the sword at his hip and his eyes narrowed, though Kaimu seemed unphased.

"Ehh~ It's alright; I'm rogue, I have no interest in the shinigami or their ridiculous little laws..." His voice held no hint of lying, it was only natural...he had to be utterly convincing. "I would like to try the game, if I pay enough, would you be willing to give me a chance at winning two prizes~?"

Money was all that mattered~

The man seemed hesitant, he gave a silent nod and looked at him expectantly. Kaimu gave a chuckle, pulling out money for the man, "Ah! Before I ask, do you happen to know what that bright pink item is~?"

The man let out a huff, "Back massager from The World of the Living."

"I see~ It is good to have such an expert on hand for getting me things I wish for then~" Lakshmi's smirk was playful though happy as well, watching and waiting as she followed Kaimu closer. His words made her smile, looking away as he spoke so easily that lie... Though it probably came to his lips easier than admitting he was pardoned. Centuries versus mere weeks.

The fact that he could lie with ease like this though...made her shiver. He didn't keep things from her any longer, but she felt if he wanted he could keep everything and utterly pretend...and she would never know. Listening curiously, her eyes were bright with excitement for the moment as he asked about the game and if he could try for two... before she had to look away and cover her mouth.

"..." Lakshmi had spent years and years perfecting her masks and put on one of excitement, using her real feelings to cover for the giant amount of amusement and laughter she truly wanted to show. Kaimu may feel her body shaking from the effort before she stepped away to allow him to win her such wonderful prizes.

That was not a back massager...

"Aa~ I see, I see~" Kaimu replied, wanting to laugh himself and he could feel Lakshmi resisting the urge to. "I would like to try to win it and the camera~ Wandering, and wandering is sooo stressful, but I'd also love to take pictures~"

Might as well give Lakshmi more amusement, fufu~

The man accepted the offer of extra money for the chance at two prizes, utterly greedy.

He was given his rings, and told if he could get the highest amount of points he could win both. Good~! He could easily succeed in that~!

He would win both!

With that determination in mind, he went about playing the game, a smirk on his face as he scored ring after ring.

Lakshmi praised all spirits that she held in her laughter at Kaimu's act, she almost choked though at his words. Really laying it on thick rogue~

He of all people could tell how amused she was now, and she would definitely show him in full later. This was so much fun! Pulling out her fan, she tried to look a bit more dignified as she covered up the small smirk that had formed on her lips. She rather liked this, maybe she should always carry one...

While the man was greedy for money, Lakshmi was greedy for a chance to see Kaimu's gaming skills once more. She smiled behind the fan, the amusement fading for the moment as she became rather awed at his abilities. Her Kai could definitely win both for them and more if they had wanted...

She just wanted those two items though~

Kaimu tossed the rings, utterly focused on winning as he scored toss after toss. He would win, he would definitely win~ Just like when he'd won the fans, as long as he won and the man got his money then everyone would be content!

He was on his last ring, and with a determined expression, and maybe a bit of flare, he tossed it; his grin was large as it was a success! The man ran a hand through his hair before moving to get the won items, and Kaimu stood back so Lakshmi could accepted.

Fufu~ He'd won, and looked good doing it~!

Lakshmi watched with gleaming eyes, darting from the rings to Kaimu's determined face as she hid her appreciative smile behind the fan. He was so trying for her~ She rather loved it...what she wanted he wanted to do and get for her and she also hid her blush behind the fan.

He...was entirely devoted to her in so many ways that it made her heart skip beats. That flare at the end made her grin return, a pleased laugh coming from her lips finally as she snapped the fan closed and stepped forward to retrieve her prizes. "Thank you love~"

The booth man sighed and handed them over to her with no hassle it seemed and the Shinigami Captain turned to smile up at Kaimu before her focus went to the items. There was something oddly disturbing about the back massager that she couldn't place until she remembered the logo on it. "Why is it hello kitty themed...I thought that was for young children?"

"So, what do I owe such a rogue for the show he put on for me?" Lakshmi brushed aside all the weirdness of the vibrator with a grin and stuffed both items in mall hidden pockets inside her kimono, looking up at Kaimu with a quirked eyebrow and a playful smile.

Once the items were handed over the man turned and went about putting away the money, and checking his work. He had more important things to do than watch a lovey-dovey couple at his booth. He'd done his job.

Hello Kitty? Perhaps it was just a popular brand named that branched farther than children...maybe...?

Kaimu was grinning as Lakshmi turned to him once she had the items. What did she owe~?

"All I desire is Lak-tan's love and devotion~ Thoughhhh, a kiss might help too~" Kaimu responded, that imaginary fox tail swishing rapidly, or it would be if it existed.

"That is all? But you already... Oh I see~ Jut a single kiss? That may be too much trouble..." Lakshmi noticed the tail swishing, sensing it from Kaimu's smile and tone. She looked up at the sky, sighing as she leaned back slightly and teased. "I mean it is such a great height to reach your lips and all that effort to pull you down... All that is worth a mere two fans, a back massager and a camera?"

She pretended to contemplate such a deal with much hmming and smirking, her eyes thoughtfully on the sky.

"Fuuuu~?" Kaimu puffed out his cheeks in a mock pout at Lakshmi's words, watching as she looked up at the sky and pretended to contemplate this deal of his he'd given her.

He leaned down a little, a bit closer to her height, "Would it be a problem now~?"

She would hardly have to lean up, not very much...and she wouldn't have to pull him down. A perfect offer if you asked him~

Lakshmi loved his little pouts even when they were fake and hid her adoration of it behind her smirk. Kaimu couldn't know how much she did, his ego was astronomical as it was!

Even with his pout the man did not disappoint her and leaned down, causing her smirk to widen as she leaned up a bit. Lakshmi's lips almost were brushing his as she spoke. "Mm, I suppose this is...somewhat acceptable. A compromise requires us both to give in so I will have to accept it then..."

She sighed deeply before bridging the distance between them, her mouth connecting with his as her arms moved around his neck anyways.

At Lakshmi's words, Kaimu gave one final smirk before she closed the distance between their lips, responding to the kiss as he felt her arms move up and wrap around his neck. His arms moved around her, wrapping around her waist in a comfortable hold.

God damn, you're in public for fuck's sake...

Lakshmi would normally get flustered by the public affections, but right now she did not care as Kaimu's arms went around her. She could quite literally kiss him all day and never get bored or wish to stop, she knew.

Kuroshi might feel a bit of warning, a sense of impending danger that if Lakshmi caught wind of him saying such comments and daring to interrupt her kissing... Well there was much that could be blamed on early pregnancy hormones~

Kaimu was happy with the kiss, though Kuroshi's comments towards it was only egging Kaimu on to make it worse on the zanpakutou spirit.

Fuu~ Kuroshi should really know when to keep his mouth shut.

Giving the spirit that thought, Kaimu deepened the kiss to spite it. It was also quite pleasant to do so~ He very much enjoyed kissing Lakshmi...

Lakshmi, who had been holding her own quite well until that point, immediately flushed as Kaimu deepened the kiss. She instinctively responded to him though a soft sound came up in her throat. Kissing him like this in...in public... Her hand buried in his hair, she was flustered but enjoying the feeling rather a lot.

She was a little melty puddle of enjoyment now, her mind scattering as she lost all focus on not kissing her love.

Lakshmi had responded~

He had expected her to, but they were in public so there was a chance she'd pull away; she hadn't pulled away, and they were now kissing like this...

Her hand in his hair felt nice, really nice and she'd even given him a sound...

Lakshmi had...forgotten the part about them being in public by now, her hand tugging at Kaimu's hair lightly. Whenever he kissed her like this she melted against him and now was no different as she continued her rather eager response to him.

She would have been fine continuing it for quite some time in fact, if not for the...wolf whistle she heard and slow clapping. Her face burned up, but she didn't pull away yet, merely freezing slightly as she wondered...who or...even why someone would... A small flustered sound came from her throat at least.
