Beaches and Birthdays [nsfw]

While Hibiki rested, Miyako went about trying to figure out how she could sneakily make one of his favorites... She played with his hair and rubbed his head lightly, liking how he seemed so relaxed and content like this before a bit of time passed.

Taking a breath, she sat up slightly and brushed aside his bangs to look down into his eyes. A warm smile was on her lips. "I'll go make us a late lunch! I can't promise it'll be amazing like Iyuki's food, but I'll do my best."

She still remembered how to cook so it should be fine...

"Mn?" Aito gave a questioning sound as Miyako shifted and sat up, it'd been a bit, but he wasn't paying attention to how much time passed really.

Ah, right. Food. Food would be good for them to have, food that wasn't just snack boxes.

"Ah." He gave a nod, lifting his head some so she could get up.

Didn't she need him in the kitchen then too? Even if she was the one cooking...

Miyako sat up fully and moved off of the bed, unbuttoning her coat as she looked over her shoulder with a soft smile. "If you want to rest up here I can definitely do the work down there. I've never gotten to cook for you, but you have for me? So I'd like you to just sit back this time!"

She had a tiny bit of red on her cheeks from that as her coat fell to the floor in a pile, arms reaching up and stretching afterwards. "Or you could come downstairs and stay in the living room? I can give you a really quick tour and point out important rooms."

"Quick tour...would be better...then living room..." He shouldn't just stay up here, he needed to know where things were, he'd rested up some and now would be the best time to learn things since everyone other than Miyako and himself were out.

"'Kay." Miyako turned to face him, her finger moving under Hibiki's chin to lift his head up gently as she leaned down a bit slowly and hesitantly to press her lips against his. She'd...never really...well she had but it felt different this time with...with him on the bed like this and her standing up and...

It was a sweet kiss and her eyes opened as she pulled back after a few moments, ignoring the blush staining her cheeks. "U-Um this way. Upstairs doesn't have much to offer other than my room... B-But downstairs is the bath, the kitchen and living room as well as a little office for my parents and that's about it. N-Not too big really."

Miyako's actions were unexpected, but Aito responded to the soft kiss for the few moments it lasted before she pulled away. Unexpected, but...not unwelcome...

He moved to stand after she'd pulled away, ready to head back downstairs along with her as she explained what was down there.

"Mn..." He nodded, listening; kitchen, bath, living room, and her parent's office...

Miyako led Hibiki down the hallway, pointing out whose rooms were whose and then taking him down the stairs. She was grinning and pleased, her voice rather happy even for her as she pointed out the bathroom before moving on to showing him the office door. Down the hall that seemed to split the house in two, she turned to her left and opened the sliding door to reveal an older styled living room. It had a table in the middle with cushions for sitting on and eating, another set of doors that could be opened to the outside and a small porch and also had a large tv in one corner on a stand. A game system was hooked up to it but it was all neatly organized, games and movies underneath that. A fan sat nearby, unused for the moment. "This is the living room, the kitchen is right over here!"

She left the door open, turning to the other side where a large open kitchen was. It had obviously not been this large before, an addition added on to make it better...but it was rather nice even so. Obviously food was important in her family...

Looking at the fridge as she headed over, she noticed... little notes back and forth held up by magnets from her parents and sister. They went back and forth between them, little hellos and I love yous... There was even one for her that made her smile sweetly as she pulled it off before Hibiki could read.

"If I leave the door open you can be right there but I'm sorry. Um, you can use the tv or the game if you want?" Miyako moved to a closet as she pulled out an apron, slipping it over her head and tying it around her body. She then attempted to find a hair clip, knowing her mom would have one nearby... "Aha! Found one..."

Miyako pulled her hair up, holding the clip in her mouth for a moment before snapping it around her shorter hair, keeping it all back.

Aito gave a nod here and there as Miyako led him through the house some, giving him the quick tour she'd promised. He made sure to memorize what was where, and what rooms were what as she told him, though what rooms were what were rather obvious upon looking at them.

He looked around the living room some with his eyes as they reached it before following her into the kitchen.

Hn?

She'd snatched that note pretty fast, but... Whatever.

"Ah..." He gave another nod, seemed she'd be fine with cooking then. He'd sit in the living room though he wasn't sure he wanted to really...toy around with anything right now.

As she put her hair up, he stood by for a few more short moments before stepping back into the living room to wait. Perhaps he'd turn on the tv in a minute...for now he'd check his phone...

Miyako turned as he left finally, confusion written on her features as Hibiki had...stayed there a few moments more than she expected. She just shrugged though and began gathering the ingredients. Looks like they did stock up~

Meat and vegetables were pulled out, the rice cooker set up and the young woman began her first real cooking in a while! There was a note card with a recipe on it somewhere, she knew. She'd find that once things were set for the spicing and sauce...

Humming a happy tune, she began chopping up the vegetables in preparation while grinning up a storm. He'd be so happy and surprised!

Aito waited in the living room, sitting and toying with his phone for now mostly. He'd checked his notifications, and was now just messing around on it, not looking at anything specific.

In truth...he would feel a bit awkward just taking someone else's remote and flipping through channels on a television that wasn't his own... Even if he'd been...told it was fine. Whatever...

He was perfectly content to toy with his phone.

Miyako didn't hear Hibiki turn on the TV or anything so she figured he must not want to... Oh well, Gyudon didn't take long at all once it was prepared. With the rice cooking, she was soon finished with all the prep work and moved onto actually cooking it. He...might recognize the smell but hopefully he'd be to busy in there with whatever he was doing as she began the process of simmering the meat and such after having dumped the dishes in the sink.

Her humming continued, giving her focus while working. She forgot...did he like his egg cooked in it or did he prefer it after in the bowl? Hm...

Aito was at that point where he was distracted by his phone playing, not really paying attention to anything outside of it, he was just browsing various apps of his without really toying with them, checking if they needed updates...

He heard Miyako working on her cooking, but other than that wasn't noticing any smells just yet.

After about fifteen minutes or so, Miyako finished the gyudon! Taking a tray down, she filled two bowls full of rice and then moved the meat and vegetable mixture over onto the bowls as best she could. It wasn't an artful presentation, but she did her best! Hopefully it'd taste really good...

For a quick lunch like this she wouldn't take everything into the living room, so instead she piled up the tray with those bowls and a small chocolate torte cake her parents had made for them to eat. Hibiki got to use the guest bowl and chopsticks, though the design was just as pretty as her own dark purple ones...

With two drinks, she was all set! Carrying the loaded tray carefully into the living room, she smiled brightly. "Tada~ Not as good as Iyuki's I bet, but I hope you like it still."

She moved to the table and set the tray down with a laugh as she waited to see how Hibiki reacted.

Aito remained on his phone until Miyako entered the room. Not as good as...

He almost questioned that, assuming she meant the cooking in general until he noticed what she'd made exactly. It would probably be amusing to her, but Aito averted his eyes, turning his head away from her much like he had at the station earlier.

"A-Ah..." He responded.

...Was he... it was like...before... wasn't it? At the station... Miyako felt a deep shock before she smiled warmly, scooting around the corner of the table as her hand lifted again like it had in the bedroom.

Settling her fingers gently under his chin again, she tried to get him to turn his face towards her once more. "Hibiki...look at me please..."

She was blushing slightly herself, but by now she was used to that...

Look at her!?

He hadn't had his face turned away long enough though, couldn't she give him just a little bit of time!? The hand on his chin told him that no, no there would be no time, and he mentally cursed that. D-Damn it...

Gh...

Miyako would easily be able to turn his head, though when his face was visible his eyes landed on her for a split second before he averted them to the side and up.

Miyako fought down a giggle at the fact that Hibiki's eyes couldn't land on her even for a second, but she was still smiling as he looked away still. "Mm, you let me turn your head and looked at me for a second... So here's your reward!"

Leaning forward, her hand slipped around to the back of his neck as she pressed her lips against his. He wouldn't have to look at her like this~ He could just close his eyes! H-He was being too cute and she...felt oddly confident from...from how obviously flustered he was...

Reward...?

He'd looked for a second, so it'd counted, which was good enough in his book too. He'd done as asked, not perfectly but he'd done it well enough.

His eyes returned to Miyako before shutting at the kiss, and responding to it.

He just wished...he'd been able to keep his head turned a bit longer so he could compose himself, but...he had not been able to.

Miyako giggled as Hibiki responded, trying to be all serious and confident but failing utterly now that his lips were against hers. She held the kiss for a few more moments before pulling back, her eyes still tightly closed.

"Mm, if you are still flustered I can't see it at all. So feel free to eat before it gets all cold Hibiki." Even if she wanted to tease him more...it was one of his favorites and if this would help him now she would do it!

"Y...You can open your eyes..." Aito replied, turning towards the food once they'd separated. It was...dumb to make her just close her eyes, even if he wasn't making her do it.

He did however instinctively turn his head again after he'd taken his first bite, unable to stop himself from doing so.

"....s'Good."

Miyako's eyes opened at his words, her smile still in place but... a bit sheepish as she scooted back to her spot and took her bowl. Noting that his head had turned after he took a bit, she turned her eyes and attention back on her bowl at his praise. She was red but, she got out a reply. "Th-Thanks...its um...really easy to make and quick too...s-so...it was perfect for...lunch like this..."

She then stuffed her mouth full of food to avoid her own fluster now... the first time she'd made Hibiki something and he...liked it... If she wasn't hungry herself she would have had to stand up and leave so she could make sounds in the bathroom without embarrassing herself.

As it was...she held them in barely.

"A...Ah..." Aito nodded as he continued eating, eventually turning his head properly again; it was good. Easy to make? He'd...always just ordered it if he wanted it so he'd never...really...checked a recipe or anything...

Miyako was blushing too, was it because of what he'd said? Well...the praise...anyway...

"I-If you want... I can...show you how... o-or if...you wanted me to again...I can...make it when...you want..." Miyako stuttered out her words, still utterly flushed over this whole thing. If he learned how to do it himself, he could make it exactly how he liked... but if he wanted her to make it for him she would as long as she could use his kitchen...

She focused on eating for a minute to calm her fluster a bit more... her usual inhaling was not happening at the moment due to that.

"A-Ah..." Aito gave another nod; "Do...either...s'Fine..."

If she wanted to make it for him, or...teach him how to properly then either option was fine. If he knew he could...make it whenever, but if she wanted to she could make things like this. He could cook, but he was still definitely learning in that department...

"O-Okay... I-I'll...do both... That way...when I'm not around...y-you can have it...a-and when I am...y-you can just...have me...for you...since...I'd...like to..." Miyako's fluster was at the absolute maximum allowed for the young woman. She...she'd never felt like her heart was gong to burst like this before! It was stupid to get all worked up over cooking for your boyfriend, stupid!

Quickly finishing the bowl, she stood up suddenly and rushed into the kitchen to hide her face.
