"If we thought he would let us do more... We would. This is the bare minimum." Fujio sighed more, shaking his head and trying not to smile. At Muika's kind words though he did finally smile once more, a warm one that brightened up his features.

"Thank you and welcome as well. If you need anything else please let us know? I think I shall sit here with Yuki for a bit. You rest if you can." Nodding, he turned his attention back to his son though he had a soft smile on now and was not crying.

"Mm..." Muika gave another small nod before lowering her head, resting it on her arm which was currently resting on the side of the bed. She held Iyuki's hand close, his knuckles brushing the side of her head.

To...hopefully reassure Fujio some, she closed her eyes, though she couldn't find it in herself to fall asleep.

Whether Muika fell asleep or not... Fujio stayed there and periodically sent out messages to the rest of the family. Most of them consisted of updates on Iyuki and the fact that Muika was resting, so everyone was to stay away for now.

Time passed, the sun lowered on the horizon and soon it was dark out. Iyuki's IV bag slowly dripped on and the machines beeped lightly, but it was as a few bright stars appeared outside even visible in the city... That Iyuki woke up once more. "Yuki!"

His father gave a cry, a bit upset and more than a bit happy as Iyuki's eyes fluttered open. Iyuki's voice was soft as he smiled. "Dad...Where's...oh there she is."

His smile warmed up as he noticed Muika near the bed. "You kept your promise..."

Time passed, and having her eyes shut seemed to help, though Muika wasn't entirely sure if she just thought it helped or if it was actually helping.

Upon hearing Fujio speak, calling for Iyuki, her eyes opened just as Iyuki's own landed on her. She offered him a small smile as he spoke, giving a nod.

"Mhmm. I said I wasn't going anywhere..." Her words came out lacking a stutter, which she was internally grateful for, then again...now that she knew Iyuki would be alright, it was easier for her to speak with him.

Fujio noted both Iyuki's response to Muika, Muika's response to him... And the look on both of their faces with a soft smile.

Iyuki nodded slightly at Muika's words, a rather sweet smile on his face. "You did... Thank you Muika. Dad... I haven't seen you in a while. I am sorry. The bear...got me."

Fujio just grinned and reached out to pat his head softly. "You made it though. Please do not wrestle anymore though? The family really would have to go on a bear hunt if one took you."

"Mhmm, welcome." She replied, giving his hand a small squeeze as he turned to talk with his father.

The bear story was holding up, which was a relief...and even though they were worried it was...good to see them speaking happily with each other.

Iyuki squeezed her hand back and smiled for a moment as it was a cute action. He felt more drowsy than anything but also awake. He supposed that was the medicines in his system... However he felt rather lucid for now, maybe they had given him another type? "I promise. No more bears. I heard something about an...apartment?"

His glance between the two of them was a bit... strained. Fujio nodded and gave a small shy grin. "Well yes. We have moved you both or well we are in the process of doing so, the moving. That cabin of yours has been cleaned out and there are reasonably priced ones nearby."

Iyuki sighed lightly and closed his eyes. "...Muika that...was okay with you? Are you sure? Your things..."

"Y-Yeah, it's fine...I'm sure..."

She didn't have much, really. What she owned was mostly what Iyuki had gotten her, such as her clothes mainly, and some of the books she'd gotten. There wasn't that much to really move of her own...She felt a bit bad, with them moving everything themselves, but they'd said it was alright...so she told herself to believe them.

The cabin, as she'd told Iyuki before, was just what she had managed to find. It'd been...out of the way, yes, but it wasn't like she'd have been able to afford anything. The cabin was just a place, she didn't mind moving.

"I...will not fuss then." Iyuki nodded to his father who sighed a bit. Fujio shot Muika a grateful look and smiled again.

"How are things going Dad? Is everyone doing okay together or are they just pretending?" Opening his eyes, he looked at Muika and smiled as Fujio started telling Iyuki all about the various things everyone had been up to while Iyuki was away. The man was softspoken yes, but he was rather eloquent when it came to explaining the various exploits and insanity that went on in the Osamoto household.

Iyuki would glance at his father occasionally, listening rather intently...but mostly he watched Muika to see how she would react to all these crazy stories about the family she was swiftly being adopted into. Fujio didn't seem to mind that Iyuki wasn't watching in the least. He still kept speaking.

Muika listened quietly as Iyuki's father began catching him up on things that he'd not been around for. Some of the things were quiet...surprising, and occasionally her eyes could be found widening a small fraction. Sometimes, she brought Iyuki's hand up without noticing to cover the lower half of her face, an obvious sign of her trying to hide a smile.

Iyuki grinned rather cutely as he watched Muika lift his hand to her face to cover her rare smiles. They were becoming less so the longer he was around her... Was he the cause? He...hoped so. he made sure not to bring this action to her attention though as of yet... He wanted her to keep doing that.

Fujio finally tired of the stories and smiled. "Well Sozen was re-admitted to the Dad Club. I swear he is the cause of so many of our failed bakesales."

Muika glanced over at Iyuki on occasion, and each time she caught his eyes she felt herself blush a little which was...a little embarrassing with Fujio here, but it was something she couldn't stop herself from doing.

As his father finished the stories, Muika had to resist the urge to raise a brow.

Dad Club? What...?

"I do not think she knows about the Dad Club, Dad." Iyuki's voice was rather formal as he spoke, solemn and full of awe for this mysterious club he could not yet join in on activities.

Fujio's nod was just as solemn. "One day you too shall join our ranks Yuki. But for now I shall explain the Dad Club. It started one day when Sozen, Keiichi and I realized there were three Fathers in this family, we always stuck together and someone had joked that we had formed a Dad Club...And thus we decided to make this joke a reality. We meet in Keiichi's underground Club room in his mansion on Thursday and do bowling and movies. And other secret, Dad Club activities."

Iyuki's eyes sparkled at the thought of joining such a prestigious club. He...wanted to... be a dad...

They...they had a club for that?

It sounded like they had a lot of fun though, which was good for them, fun was good. It must be good for their family, it...kept them close she supposed. That was good, close friends and families were nice.

She continued keeping her face hidden, thankful she'd done so when she glanced over to Iyuki and noticed his eyes sparkling after that explanation.

Fujio smiled softly at Iyuki's reaction, glancing between the two before laughter overtook him. Muika was...utterly entranced with Yuki, it was obvious. Iyuki seemed just as entranced himself, though to be fair they had anticipated such a reaction out of him when he finally found someone.

Iyuki for his part was imagining all the cool adventures Dads did. All the bakesales he could help out with. He finally came out of his daze though and smiled at Muika who was still hiding her face. "Did you like the stories and explanations? I hope so. My family can be odd but they are... Kind."

A small, slightly embarrassed squeak escaped her as Fujio began laughed, and if it were possible she would have tried to hide her face more...but her and Iyuki's hands could only hide so much.

"Mm, m-mhmm. Y-yeah." Muika replied to Iyuki, her eyes and attention moving to him as he'd begun speaking, and from his point of view, he'd probably notice the small, almost sheepish smile she had and was attempting to hide.

Iyuki tried to hide a smile at the sound but failed, laughing lightly himself. "So cute..."

It was impossible for him to not say that. As she turned her gaze on him, it was also impossible for him to ignore or miss that sheepish smile she was trying to hide. His smile brightened more. "...Even cuter."

Fujio for his part tried to ignore how cute the two were being and turned slightly to the side. If he left now Himeko would never forgive him.

Muika's blush brightened, much to her dismay as a few shy stutters escaped her; it only became worse when he continued on.

"N-n-n...n-not..." She muttered; her face was burning, why was it burning right now!?

Fujio turned away more, this was too adorable. He was not stopping it!

Iyuki just smiled sweetly at Muika, his unhurt hand moving from covering her face to touching her cheek softly. "I really think so at least. The cutest in the world."

"M-Mm..." Muika's eyes moved from him off to the side, her burning face even more obvious to the world now that Iyuki had moved his hand, though, as usual, she couldn't help but find herself leaning into his touch.

"I shall take that for agreement." Iyuki's hand slipped into her hair and gently played with it. He had a soft smile on his face and his eyes closed just a bit.

Fujio turned his back on them finally and looked out the window. With a polite cough he spoke rather softly. "I think I should head out soon. Your mother and siblings might be back later, but its possible they all went to bed. It has been a long and tiring day and we will be here tomorrow as well."

Muika continued to let Iyuki play with her hair, enjoying the feeling at his gentle touch. It was comforting, and soothing, and those things were certainly in need for her.

Her attention went to Fujio as he claimed he would be taking his leave soon, and Muika's eyes moved back to Iyuki for a moment before moving back to Fujio with a small nod against Iyuki's hand.

Iyuki was smiling at Muika became a fluffy kitten of cute again. His smile was soft as he turned to his father for the moment and gave a small nod. "All right. I shall see you all tomorrow."

Fujio nodded and moved forward, brushing a kiss on Iyuki's forehead before moving to Muika's side and kissing the top of her head in a fatherly manner. Then he waved and headed for the door. "Both of you rest. Yuki especially but you as well Muika. If you have to crawl in that bed with him to do it, I do not think any of us care. Goodnight."

Giving a wink, he left the room.

Surprised would be one word to describe Muika upon Fujio's fatherly action before he left. She could understand the action towards Iyuki, but herself...?

When he mentioned getting rest, she wanted to try to affirm she'd at least try...though she was quite positive any attempts would be unsuccessful, but she couldn't find words, choosing the simply give another small nod instead.

Once Fujio had left, Muika nuzzled her head slightly into Iyuki hand.

Iyuki noticed the surprised face and was a bit...shocked himself. His eyes had widened and his smile was a bit brighter as his father left. Muika's nuzzle brought a soft laugh to the purple haired man and his voice was just pleased. "I see they have adopted you in already. I knew they would adore you as much as I do."
