Rooftop Lessons

She was really happy Riye was holding her and sort of just sunk into Riye, giving a happy sigh. "well I'm glad you feel this way now..." She said, wanting to start throwing out 'I love you's again, but trying not to trap them in that cycle. She didn't want Riye to make her start crying again... something she knew was inevitable... but at least for today...

She gave another contented sigh, after the first one. "Um, I..." She shook her head. "Mm.. Ah..." She was struggling with something. "I mean.. It's too early in the day to um.. sleep, but.. I could sleep like this? I mean.. I... ah..." She finally sat up some, not breaking free from Riye's arms, but pulling a bit against them so she could look Riye in the eye. "I.." She was about to say it then her lip started trembling and she laid back down on Riye and curled up in defeat. She couldn't aaaaask.

She wanted to ask Riye if.. nooo, it was too presumptuous...

Riye gave a small nod; she was happy too, really happy... It was really nice...feeling this way. She really liked this feeling! It was a great feeling...

Hm?

Was Fay trying to ask... Judging by her words or what she was getting at anyway...

"I-It may be too early to really sleep, but...but that's what naps are for, right?" She questioned, giving a small smile. They'd watched a movie, done training before that, had food, and played video games, they'd already done a lot today! If Fay wanted to nap, they could!

"Ahh.." She bit her lip, embarrassed that she hadn't asked. But she couldn't... she.. knew Riye would say yes and that's why she couldn't. No matter how scuzzy this apartment was... But.. at least Riye.. wanted to sleep together... the literal way! Which was what she wanted to begin with.

"Um..Y..Yeah..." She said, deciding to worry about the other question later. She snuggled up on Riye. "Um.. A-are you comfortable like this though?" She asked, already a little sleepy tone in her voice. She was pretty sure she was the most comfortable she'd ever been in her entire life, but she could hardly make Riye nap with her dumb butt on top of her.. She just.. was so happy and wanted to snuggle up and sleep curled up with Riye.

"Mhmm, this is fine; I-I'm comfortable like this though...should we...get a blanket or something? Y-You won't get cold...?" They were above covers, and while she was warm under Fay wouldn't she get cold since she was on top of her?

She didn't want them to fall asleep and wake up with Fay cold...and they were on Fay's bed so...

Fay looked up, caught off guard. "Uhh. Y-yeah. Um... I..." She looked around and spotted her oversized blanket marginalized to the corner. "Ah!" She grabbed it and furled it with a flick of her arm, before grabbing the other corner and pulling it down, almost like a cape that settled over the two of them. The blanket was rather heavy and she already was feeling toasty warm.

"Um..." She loathed getting off of Riye or anything, but... "If...In case we wind up... sleeping and not napping... do you want pajamas or anything? I just don't want to make you sleep fully dressed. uhh AH! L-L-Like in your workout clothes. N-not like.. um..." She groaned and looked away.

"U-Um... This is fine, but if you want we can wear pajamas..." Riye answered, if she got pajamas she'd be wearing... She bit back the urge to squeak again, though her face was red once more. The blankets warmth along with Fays, and her face's...Aaa, she'd burn up!

E-Either way, these clothes or pajamas were fine! She was alright with either option!

"Uhh.." She could get her something but she said this was fine? Fay made a small noise of surprise when she remembered she owned no such pajamas to give. She... Should just pick this so she wouldn't have to reveal such a silly oversight.

Still, she couldn't imagine how Riye slept in pajamas all the time. The once wasn't bad but regularly? Even this was mildly uncomfortable but... S-she couldn't wear what she usually slept in. N-no way!

She nodded and yanked up on the covers so they generously covered the two of them entirely. Under the covers, Fay realized how warm it was. It was cozy but.... With Riye... Ahhh...

She lifted a finger and a little light sprouted, shining on them dimly. She gave a nervous smile to Riye. "Um... C... Comfortable?" She asked, worried it was too hot or she was too heavy, lying on her like this..

It seemed they'd be sleeping in their current clothes, that was perfectly fine! It would be...flustering to wear Fay's pajamas, even if she'd let Fay borrow her own last night... it was different when you were the one wearing them!

Though, it wouldn't have been too bad; she was perfectly content with this decision though!

The blanket covered them, and already she felt rather warm now that it was there along with Fay; it wasn't a bad warm, like too hot or anything, it was...was comfortable, cozy...

Her attention was pulled to Fay as her eyes caught sight of the light the woman had made, and she gave a smile in response, "Mhmm! This is just fine! It's warm like this..."

Fay smiled and gave a pleased little nod. It was really warm. She didn't usually take well to heat, but this was a special situation and a lot of that heat was from Riye so... It was fine....Fay's hands busied themselves, playing gently with Riye's hair as Fay moved forward to kiss Riye.

"Mmm..." She made a small indecisive noise after pulling away. She felt bad... Riye was used to pajamas.... "H..Hold on..." She said and, VERY begrudgingly, slipped off of Riye and out from under the blanket.

Refreshed by the cold, she considered ditching the gym shorts. She had boyshorts underneath... But she had though a sports bra would be the same as a swimsuit so she shouldn't trust that logic this time.

She darted over to her closet and scurried around. She came back and cleared her throat before placing some clothing items on the bed next to Riye. "I actually don't have pajamas... But I have these sweatpants, and um... This is my comfiest shirt..." She said with a slight blush. She stood there awkwardly for a moment.

"Oh uh... If you want to change there I'll just turn around" she offered, turning to face the other way for now.

"O-Okay..." Riye gave a small nod as Fay got up, slipping off of her and out from under the blanket before approaching her closet.

Was...Was she gonna get...clothes?

She didn't have pajamas, but...but those were still...Fay's clothes. Don't blush, don't blush... Too late, she was blushing. They were sweatpants and a shirt, she...she could wear those...

"'K-Kay..." Trusting Fay's word she sat up and got the clothes after they'd been set down and went about changing in to them.

By the time she was changed, her face was burning again; "D-Done."

Fay tuned around, cautiously. God help the both of them if she turned around too fast and caught Riye in a state of undress. That was not the case, but what did happen would be almost as embarrassing for Riye. "Ahhhhh.." She opened her mouth and clasped her hands gently together. "C-cute..." She took a few steps forward. She didn't know what it was about Riye wearing her clothes that seemed so adorable but... "Th-they look so much nicer on you than me.."

She walked up to Riye, picking up the blanket and with a quick fling of the wrist, wrapped it around the two of them, like some sort of adorable burrito, slipping her arms around Riye in the process. She couldn't help but give Riye a coy little smirk before she tipped forward, sending them onto the bed like that. After they landed and settled down, Riye's smirk widened a little. "Hey." She said with a teasing little tone to her voice.

N-N...Not! She was not!

"T-They do not!" Riye replied; n-no they would look better on Fay for sure! S-She was not that cute in them! She couldn't be!

Smirk...?

Before Riye could understand, a surprised squeak escaped her as Fay tipped forward, bringing them both down back on to the bed where she gave a small "oomph" at landing.

"H...Hey..." She repeated, blushing again.

She reached up, pushing her arms against the tight blanket to pull the top down over their heads again, all too happy to return to this cozy little setup. She adjusted herself, getting comfy on top of Riye again. She...She liked this. A lot.

"You are, in fact, TOO cute in those. If that shirt wasn't my favorite, I'd let you keep it." She said, then blushed and looked away, laying her head on Riye's shoulder. "Really though... I'd let you keep it anyway..." She said, deciding to keep her arms wrapped around Riye where her hands couldn't get into too much mischief. She did her best to rub Riye's back soothingly though.

She was torn between teasing Riye or saying more things she'd usually be embarrassed of... She opened her eyes suddenly. "H...h.hey... uumm..." She blushed and shook her head. "Nevermind."

"Y-You don't have to do that, it's your favorite s-so you keep it!" Even if Fay would allow her to keep it she couldn't knowing it was her favorite! It was Fay's favorite shirt, plus it would look much better on her then herself!

Huh?

Hey...?

"What is it...?" Fay had wanted to say something? She seemed to shy away from saying it, Riye didn't want to push too much but...

She giggled at the response, rubbing Riye's back a little more. "No... It's my favorite shirt... You're my favorite... But okay, I'll keep it." There was, of course, a train of thought in her mind that came up with some clever joke about taking it back now, but she quickly derailed that train into a gulch where it exploded. No. Bad train.

She was too busy being embarrassed anyway. "Um.. It.. It's silly.. I don't.." She puffed her cheeks up and slowly exhaled. "C-can you... I know.. my hair isn't long like yours." She said, moving her hands to play with the ends of Riye's hair. "B-b-but... can you... play with my hair?" She winced. "S-sorry. Th-that was a weird thing to ask."

Play with her hair... That's what Fay was so nervous about asking? Riye gave a small smile before she gave a nod, raising one of her hands to Fay's head and gently began playing with her hair as she'd been asked.

"Of course I can, no problem." She replied happily. "It's not a weird thing to ask at all..."

Fay made a little grumble noise, her head drooping as Riye began playing with it. She blushed but only slightly. "Mm.. Mmm.." She wasn't sure how to express it... she knew it was silly, but she'd been embarrassed to ask... "I... just.... like it... it's really soothing... A-and... ah.." She decided to keep quiet and rest her head, sighing softly as Riye played with her hair. "Thank you." She finally managed to settle on whispering. She wanted to thank Riye... for everything... just being here... it made her so happy...

"M-Mhmm...It's nice having this...this done, and it's nice doing to too." Riye stated, giving a small nod; it felt nice to have your hair played with, and she was enjoying playing with Fay's too. "Welcome."

It wasn't a problem to do this, not at all!

Fay sighed again, her eyes fluttering open every now and then. "Yeah... It's nice..." She smiled, curling up against Riye, holding her tighter. This... She'd never... slept like... with another person before... It was.. It was really nice.. Really, really...

"Please be here when I wake up." She said, half unconscious, to Riye. It was a silly thought but she was already half asleep.

"Promise...I'll be here, don't worry." Riye replied, unable to help but give a small, contented giggle at Fay's words. Of course she'd be here, she'd definitely be here when Fay woke up!

As Fay began to doze off, Riye shut her eyes...eventually beginning to doze herself.

Fay half noticed the long slow sleeping patterns of sleep starting. As she drifted off to sleep in their warm little cocoon, she managed one last, half-asleep "I love you" before drifting off.

The next morning, whenever Riye came to, it would most likely be before Fay. Fay, who she would find had wrapped herself, arms and legs, around Riye in a death grip that, while not overly squeezing the young Fullbringer, was nigh inescapable. It seemed Fay took her mid-sleep snuggling very seriously.
