Rooftop Lessons

Just hearing Riye say that helped her relax some. She took a step towards Riye, smiling softly. She didn't even know why hollows attacked Riye so much... But maybe with control it would happen less? She grinned at Riye's reassurances before walking up and leaning up a little, kissing her on the forehead.

"Thank you, Riye. That... That means a lot to me. I know it's silly to make you try and train..."

Giving a small giggle at the kiss, Riye shook her head. "Welcome...but I don't it's not silly, not at all; it'll be good for me to train, and get stronger. If I do, then I'll really be able to keep myself safe from hollows."

If she trained, that would lessen the likelihood of a bad attack happening; she'd be able to protect herself and keep herself alive easier if she had better skills. So she was happy to take up training!

She listened with pursed lips, still feeling rather silly about the whole thing, but... at least Riye was on board with the training. She was glad that she wasn't just being paranoid. She nodded, her expression softening. She stepped up close to Riye.

"Yes. I'm sure in time and with training, you'll be so tough the hollows are AVOIDING you. Maybe you'll even be defending ME one day." She said with a flirty grin, leaning close to gently bonk her forehead to Riye's.

"Mhmm!" Riye seemed confident in Fay's words, though, maybe not on the defending her part...mostly about the hollows. Before she could say anything more though, the woman's forehead had come to her own, and she let out a small surprised sound at the contact.

She gave a small laugh, unable to help it.

Fay kept her forehead there against Riye's, stepping forward to give her a firm hug, just nuzzling for a moment with a smile Riye probably couldn't even see on her face. She sighed. "Too cute." She said, giving her a squeeze, but still not kissing her. Not yet.

"I've been behaving really well, considering I'm trying to seriously train you. It's hard, you know." She teased with a little giggle, slipping one hand around the back of her neck.

Riye gave a small giggle of her own, their foreheads together felt nice, it was a sweet gesture. As Fay moved to embrace her for a moment, she responded by wrapped her own arms around the woman.

"I think we've been doing really well with the training, we were able to see where I stood with things." She replied, giving a small smile.

"Hmmm... I suppose." They did have plenty of time to train and she wasn't exactly trying to teach Riye ancient martial arts. Just get her able to fend off the random hollows that seemed to attack her. So she supposed Riye was right. This was good for a first day.

"Mmm, okay." She slightly, giving Riye a tight hug for a moment before loosening her arms. "So, what now? Are you busy today? Or um... we could go somewhere or... hang out here?" She didn't want to assume Riye wanted to hang out right now, but she wanted to at least offer.

"I'm not busy, we can hang out if you want." She didn't mind where they went or anything, if staying here was best they could, or they could go somewhere else. It seemed like it would be nice either way, really.

"Hmm...We can stay here or go somewhere, I don't mind either." Riye added, voicing her previous thoughts.

"Okay!" She said with a grin, happy that she got to spend time with Riye that WASN'T focused on survival against attackers. She lifted her head, parting foreheads from Riye, but able to look her in the eyes now. "Well... Um... I don't have money to take you anywhere." She blushed a little looking away.

"Uhh... we could watch something or play games here? Although it IS really messy..." She frowned, sinking a little.

"That's alright, and that seems like it'd be fun." They didn't have to go anywhere, she would offer to pay if they went anywhere, but she felt Fay might feel bad about letting her since she'd done the same yesterday.

Riye noticed Fay sink a little when she mentioned it being messy, but she shook her head; "I don't mind, the mess doesn't bother me."

"Alright then." she said quietly with a little nod and a smile. She moved the hair out of her face and turned to leave, slipping an arm around Riye's back to walk with her.

"So... Most of my movies are.. either kung-fu movies or sci-fi stuff. And sometimes both...I've got a pretty good variety of video games, though." She wasn't sure if Riye would care about kung-fu stuff quite the way Fay did. "What kind of games do you like?"

Kung-fu or sci-fi? Those could be entertaining to watch. "Those movies seem fine, they can be fun." She replied, giving a smile as Fay slipped her arm around her back. "I've only seem a few though, not many."

Games?

"Mm, I play rpg's a lot, and I'm kinda good with fighting games too." She wasn't good at sports games though, they were fun though...she was just horrible at them.

She exited the training area, heading down the steps back towards her apartment.  "Well, any sci-fi movies you want to see, you can pick.  I have some suggestions, but whatever you like."  With the focus of training Riye gone, she was starting to feel a little bit of nervousness creep up on her, but pushed it away.

"Oh!  I love those kinds of games too!  I have a ton of RPGs.  I'm not as good at fighting games... weirdly enough, but I have a few I really like.  I just can't get into them if they don't have a story.  Maybe, if you've played the ones I like, we could have a square off?"  She said, with a little challenging tone in her voice. "If you think you can beat a superhero." She said with some faux pride in her voice.

"I'll go by you're recommendations, I don't think I'd know where to start." She gave a small, sheepish laugh; she figured Fay would know what to pick out of them, as she'd said...she didn't know where to start.

Her expression brightened when Fay mentioned her love of RPGs, "Mhmm! They're really fun, I love it when there's a story to experience so they became one of my favorite types of games. Eh, ah...the fighting games...mm...I will try my best!"

If they were both average or so at fighting games perhaps the field was a bit even! If so, she would definitely try her hardest to win!

As they came back to the apartment, Fay let her in. "Um, over here on my shelf." She walked over. "Here's my movies. Here's my games. I have them in alphabetical order, but um.. yeah." There was a modest collection of movies at the top of the shelves, separated by some figurines, mostly of video game characters, then 4 shelves full of video games in cases, separated by system and alphabetical. It seemed Fay had a number of portable systems in addition to her console.

"Um.. I'm gonna... tidy up a bit. You can pick out a movie, or a fighting game you like... or... even if there's an RPG there you want to play, I don't mind watching." She said helpfully, before she began scurrying about trying to make the place nice. She also started scooting the bed and the TV console around to try and make a makeshift couch.

Once inside, Riye looked as Fay showed her her collection of movies and games on the shelves. She even had some cool figurines too, and Riye couldn't keep a small smile off her face. Maybe a game first...?

When Fay mentioned cleaning she gave a small nod, "Okay, I'll look at things then...though I can help if you want?" She didn't mind helping her tidy up some, it would cut the clean-up time in half anyway.

Fay picked up some of the objects on the floor, chucking them in the hamper, or the garbage respectively. She turned. "Hm?" She wanted to help? Well... she supposed... it wouldn't be so bad if she helped... She helped at Riye's.. "Alright. How do you like my-EEP!" She made a noise, looking at her shelf. She'd forgotten! Of her figurines, one was completely badass. A second while showing a lot of skin was a badass character and Fay wasn't at all embarrassed of it. But... the third....

Fay dashed over, as if she could somehow hide it. Most likely Riye had paid it no mind, but Fay didn't think of that. "That's not.. It's not.. I mean, I know it's bad. I just like Blazblue and they didn't have like.. any other characters." That much WAS true.. "I mean, I don't even like.. think she's attractive." That was less so. Noel's figure wasn't entirely different from Riye's, she thought. Oh god, what if Riye thought that reflected her? "N-n-..no, that's.. I mean, obviously I think YOU'RE attractive.. I guess.. um.."

Her face bright red and seemingly unable to say anything right, she just...sat on the bed and looked away, arms crossed. She was a bad.. horrible person.

She could help! Just when Riye was about to start helping clean up, Fay rushed over in a panic attempting to cover...a figurine? That one?

As the other woman attempted to explain, Riye blinked; Fay seemed awfully...embarrassed about it. But...

"It's a cute figurine though." She muttered, though as Fay mentioned her she felt herself blush just as Fay sat down and turned her head away.

Fay looked over her shoulder, clearly still embarrassed but keeping it in check. "Um.. well.. yeah.. Just.." She sighed and turned to face Riye, still sitting, her hands in her lap. "Well, it's cute... and-and I mean... what I said is true, I did get it cause it's the only figure I could find from that game." She said, with an almost pleading tone before sighing.

"I was just embarrassed cause it's... really really fanservicey... she's like half naked...I just.." she grumbled out the last few words "didn'twantyoutothinkI'maperv.."

"A-Ahh, well...I don't think that, I think the figurine is cute..." Sure, it was pretty fanservicey, but...but that wasn't always a bad thing! This one was cute, as she'd said!

"I don't think you're a-a perv." She added, repeating her previous words with a small nod.

She took some solace in Riye's reassurances. She sighed. Well... that was good. She rubbed her arm, standing up. "Well... I guess I do agree it's cute. It reminds me of you, after all." She seemed to always want to tease Riye when she got embarrassed. She chose not to press more than that for now though. "You're welcome to help me straighten up though, or you can get the game or movie ready. Your choice." She said with a smile.

A small squeak escaped Riye as her face reddened again; she....that...

"I-I'll help clean up then, then we can play a game!" She said, her words quick due to some fluster and embarrassment as she moved to help Fay clean up. They could clean up and then they could enjoy a game, it would be fun!

The squeak helped Fay immensely. As she picked some things up and sorted them into the garbage or the hamper, she giggled. "Are you ever going to get used to me complimenting you?" She wondered aloud. She looked around and began straightening up some odds and ends. Okay. This was getting pretty presentable pretty quickly with the two of them.

"Not that I particularly MIND the squeaks every time." She said with another soft giggle.

"Th...I-I...uwaa..." She wanted to get used to it! It was embarrassing to react that way! She...She just wasn't used to being complimented like that or so often...

Even if Fay...didn't mind her reacting like that...still, she wanted to get used to it some...

She put down whatever she was straightening up, smirking. She walked over to Riye. "Aww... Stop, you're making it hard to clean." She teased, slipping her arms over Riye's shoulders, locking eyes with her and grinning. She leaned in close, face inches from Riye's.

"But really. You know the best way to get used to something is to deal with it a lot, right?" She hooked her arms down, holding Riye close.
