Long Distance Hareming

Selena sat on her bed, wearing one of her sweaters and really nothing else as she waited for the call to connect. Having set Hibiki up with a nice laptop and sent people to hook up internet... She finally had a chance to skype call him.

On her lap sat the ever mama's girl Cora, whose paws she was playing with while the fox endured this embarrassing treatment. The cats were arrayed around her and one dog head rested on the edge of the bed while the other was sprawled out of camera sight nearby.

She had a mic and camera set up and hoped Hibiki could get his...and was a bit nervous to be honest. She hadn't seen him in about a week and she did miss the Tsun...not that she'd admit it. Luca and Julian had been nice companions to have back at least.

Still they weren't as pliable as Hibiki...she couldn't boss them around as much...and didn't want to really.

Aito looked at the laptop as the call appeared; everything was set up now, which meant these calls would be happening often. That wasn't a big deal, he didn't mind them.

Accepting the call, the first thing he saw other than Selena was...the...very large number of animals. She...had mentioned, and shown him pictures but still...

Regalia was off on the other side of the bed napping on his end.

Selena laughed softly as she finally got through, holding up Cora's paw as the fox rolled over with a grumble. She waved it softly before speaking. "Evening Hibiki. You lucky bastard with your own empty bed... I have to share mine. Meet Cora! She's a total brat, the others don't get on my lap when she's in one of her mama's girl moods."

Attempting to shift the fox to the side caused more grumbles as it squirmed and caused her to laugh. She seemed... content, calm and relaxed. The quincy was happy to just see him again and continued to smile.

"I have to share mine too..." Aito commented as Selena waved to him with the fox's paw, how...had she even gotten a fox. Oh well, point was, he had to share too!

Regalia was spoiled, completely so!

"She's tiny and fluffy, she doesn't co-Boris no lay down!" Selena looked offscreen, eyes wide with panic as the large dog sleeping nearby got up. The camera shifted around as if struck with an earthquake as Selena attempted to wave the dog away and command its attention to lay down.

The other animals all fled, except for CC who popped her head up as Boris the Bear sized white golden retriever plopped itself down on the woman who couldn't flee in time. He gave a happy groan as Selena spluttered and tried to push him off. Luckily for Hibiki, the camera stayed upright so he got a front seat to the show, which included a small fox that hopped up on top of the dogs back and curl up contentedly.

Selena swore in five languages at the animals.

"..." Aito watched the scene before him, blinking as Selena attempted to wave her dogs away, and make them lie down but...obviously that didn't work, as the dog plopped itself down on her before groaning happily.

Selena began swearing, well...he assumed she was, he couldn't understand all of what she said.

Squirming out from under the dog, a tiny hint of a blush could be seen as she then pushed on the dog. "Move you big fat lug! Ugh!"

Boris, thinking it was belly rubs time just rolled over as the fox let out an annoyed sound before falling off of her perch. CC's front paws moved up onto the bed as Selena put her foot lightly on the dogs chest and pushed her. "Not you too! Everyone off! Out out!"

Hopping from the bed, it took a few moments but the animals followed her... A door could be heard slamming before she came back with only a fox under one arm. Plopping onto the bed, she pulled a pillow to her chest. "Not a word. Not a damned word."

Aito continued to watch as Selena struggled with her animals, that of which...was becoming quite comedic. She continued to have trouble until she finally snapped and managed to get them all out of the room aside from the fox.

By the time she returned, he had a smirk on his face and he was quietly snickering to himself after being a witness to such an event.

"...Remove that smirk and stop snickering!" Selena turned red and looked away, the fox grumbling as she shifted the pillow a bit and settled itself on her lap.

"If you don't, when I force you to visit once... I'll not let you touch Cora's fur." Such an evil punishment, she almost hadn't spoken of it! It would be horrific to not touch such soft...fluffy fur. It put Regalia's to shame really.

"Haaah?" Aito hadn't planned to stop laughing at all, what could she have done!? But...What!? What kind of punishment was that!?

Force him to visit but he couldn't touch the fox!?

"Tch."

Selena smirked. Her animals may control her life here and win at all times... but Hibiki wasn't strong enough to face her in combat yet. Not when she had such powerful...soft weapons... Selena ran her hands very obviously through the utterly soft fur, the fox making small happy sounds as she flipped over for belly rubs.

She just...smirked. And petted.

"Tch." Aito repeated the noise as Selena became smug, watching as she realized that her threat had had value to it.

Damn her...Damn animals...Damn...

Her and her damn smugness at her success, he should just hang up! He didn't, but the thought crossed his mind in his irritation.

Selena lifted the fox up to her face and rubbed it against her with a large smirk as she fought back smug laughter. "So...soft...softer than Regalia..."

She'd have to send the man fennec fox videos. Like the one of them playing in the sand... Covering her face with the happy little fox who adored this love, she rubbed her good fortune in Hibiki's face. Thats what he got for laughing at her!

Aito blinked at the screen, the urge to just hang up becoming stronger and stronger. She was clearly rubbing it in his face! It was blatantly obvious she was doing so!

"Gh..."

Selena finally set the fox back down after a few amusing moments, grinning and settling herself onto the bed more comfortably. "How's things been since I've been gone? Are you holding up okay alone there?"

She'd wanted to ask anyways and her smile was soft as she switched to a more serious topic. She'd never ask him if he missed her, she doubted he would... on the off chance he did, he'd never admit it either.

"Fine..." Aito replied as Selena finally stopped with her smug gloating about animals and began speaking to him.

Everything was fine, though... there had been some important events that had occurred after she'd left to go back home.

"Seiya's dead." He supposed that was something to inform her about.

Selena's gloating, amusement and happiness disappeared. She paled and leaned forward. "Was it the weird...friend of Muika's?"

Immediately she moved to the computer itself, moving the window for skype over as she quickly typed out a few things. Information popped up almost as quickly and her frown quickly grew... "Definitely not. Yeuch I am glad these are black and white..."

She exited the pictures, a bit pale but otherwise fine...

"No...Another one of her friends though..." Aito replied, it had been Aoi, he already knew that; Aoi was still a friend of Okura's though, "He's dead now though so...makes things easier."

Seiya had been one of the main obstacles, and since Okura had finally given Aoi permission...

He was gone now, no need to concern themselves over him anymore.

"...Remind me not to piss her off. Her friends are fucking insane." Selena pulled her happy fox closer and buried her face in it...After a moment, she composed herself...though Hibiki was acceptable to show weakness in front of.

"It does, you are a lot safer now... I'm happy." The small twinge of worry that had bothered her over him was gone. She had wanted him to come with her to be safe... but now he didn't need to.

"Ah...With him gone, things'll be much easier to handle... I think most of the other adults are also dead...though I don't know how many more are left."

Probably a good few, at least... There were multiple bases for Bell's Viper, so there were almost as many doctors as there were subjects probably... The subjects...he didn't know what was going to be done about them, for most...there wasn't any helping them.

"Things are going smoothly. I have a few leads on your family as well... though I'm having issues finding the one who inherited your estates." The Bell's Viper were being dismantled nicely, and with whoever was killing the adults off... it was going much better. They'd scooped up two bases already, though the kids inside...

Selena was getting reports obviously, but she didn't need to share it all with Hibiki especially over unsecured channels like this. She yawned widely after speaking, her arms moving to stretch a bit. "I'll let you go soon. Make sure you keep reading up on things online, it'll help you pass for a regular person if you know things... Though you already know enough...terms like Tsun for instance."

She was positive it would get him to hang up on her, but she didn't care.

"Mn..." She was looking for leads on his family? What family? His parents were both dead...he didn't really know what more there would be to find. He guessed...who inherited the estates would be fine, but really...that wasn't connected to him anymore...

When she mentioned she'd let him go soon, he gave a small nod; he'd search things up, read up on news, and all of that other ju-

"Gh-!?" That damn term!

With his previous irritation at her boasting earlier, plus...plus that forbidden term...

He hung up, just as she'd suspected.

That term was forbidden!

Selena just laughed as Hibiki hung up and began putting her laptop away. All these damned cords... She'd have to organize them for easier shifting around then, that way next time it was much simpler.

She hadn't gotten to say night but that was okay. His face right before he shut it off was beautiful.

It was a few days or so later, and Aito was setting up for the next call they had planned; he was sitting back in bed against a bunch of pillows and Regalia had made her bed on his chest this time, and no matter how much coaxing she was set on staying there.

Selena was the one that usually called, so for now he browsed various news articles of recent events. Nothing really interesting catching his eye.

Selena had moved the laptop downstairs this time into her living room, it was much easier than her stupid bed and no way for the dogs to mess it up again! She had learned her lesson. Sitting on the couch that was sunken into the floor a bit, she yawned as she sent the call out to the man. She was in her usual sweater attire, though this was one of the Engrish ones she had seemed to adore.
