Shoujo Garbage

"I don't see why it'd be anything not fine. Its just books." Miyako laughed softly, wondering why Hibiki was so nervous about them as she pulled back the arms of his jacket to let her powers work. A soft glow emitted from the bracelet on her left wrist.

With Hibiki ordering food, he'd need a nice table to eat on... The designs she'd seen were all pretty and simple so she would be okay with making it! Plus she'd seen enough kotatsu in her life to be able to form it she felt... But just to be sure she was taking a deep breath and mediating a bit to not mess up...

"S-Selena!? Miyako's eyes shot open and her calm was lost as she flushed. Her legs curled up to her body as she cowered just a bit from the bag. "Why...why would...she give me...anything... I..."

She didn't steal Hibiki from her! But...but... there was... implications...that...he wouldn't have done anything if she hadn't...done what she had done.

"...I...I dunno, maybe it's some..." He didn't want to say it, it was a forbidden term damn it. "...Even if I'm not involved...in the harem thing...I don't think we'd stop with...are typical not-serious arguments....that might be just a joke..."

Fucking tsundere manga...

He would not put it past her...

"Gh...g..." Aito stared at the bag for a moment, blinking before shaking his head; "I'm gonna order and get the food...You...'ll be good?"

The cat was here, and she was currently trying to crawl up on Miyako as the girl cowered from the bag.

"Oh... a joke? I wonder what she...gave me then..." Miyako quickly stopped cowering, wondering what the woman who had had Hibiki before...would find funny enough to give Miyako and... leave here?

Hibiki seemed fine with it, even if he felt it was odd obviously and as she straightened back up, she scooped his kitten onto her lap. Giving him a bright smile, she nodded as she scratching Regalia's chin. "I'll be good! I'll make you your table and then set the kotatsu up. Can I turn the air up more? It should be really cold in here for this...otherwise we'll get too hot."

She noticed his...looks at the bag, unsure of what to make of that. What kind of joke would have him nervous and twitchy?

"Probably...categorizing me in a certain...false trope...probably..." Aito answered before his eyes returned to his phone; "Yeah, you can turn the air up more. I'll be back in a bit...gonna order the food."

With one final look towards Miyako and the bag Aito stepped outside and shut the door behind him as he dialed the number for the ramen place.

Udon, curry rice, ramen...odango...

He'd get two orders of udon, and a large serving of curry rice, and ramen...and an order of odango and extra...

Yeah...

With his order in mind he set off towards the shop.

"...O-Oh. I see." Miyako pretended nonchalance, but now she was a bit excited over them. Would they be research manga for help with Tsunness? Selena...was really nice then! As Hibiki left the room, she called out to him. "Be safe!"

She got that out before the door closed, a deep breath following Hibiki's exit. Things were still a bit odd with them, but hopefully it would settle down! She still didn't know her place in the world right now but she could definitely make him a table!

With that thought in mind and taking a few steadying breaths, she focused on exactly what she wanted done as her eyes glowed. Drawing with the brush in the air, a few strokes more and then... The air popped as it was displaced quite firmly by a gorgeous ebony kotatsu table.

Regalia seemed confused and hopped up as Miyako stood, a bit wobbly... before stumbling over to the table. It was solid, very very nice... pretty even and she smiled happily at her work. "Yes! We did it Regalia!"

The kitten was on the table, admiring her new throne and vantage point while Miyako rushed to turn the air on as high as it would go. Cold air blasted out and she moved the kitten off for the moment before pulling out the large blanket. Settling that on the lower half, she made sure it was perfectly straight before setting the table top part back on with a pleased grin.

It honestly looked pretty cool... the dark green and the black... She smiled as she pulled the bag over, having turned the kotatsu on as she scooted mostly under it. The small apartment was already cooling off exponentially... Now about this manga....

Her hand reached inside and she pulled out the first volume before a blush over took her face. E-Erotic...Fairytales...the Little Mermaid?!

There was a note...

'Use this for research~ love Selena'

Miyako squeaked and buried her face in her hands...but after a few moments...rolled onto her stomach and began reading, curiosity taking over as well as a bit of fatigue. If she sat here reading and not moving it'd be nice...

Regalia explored the new item in the house for the moment, too excited by it to lay on her bed.

There was...a lot to carry; Aito realized this after the wait and had been given all the food he'd ordered once he'd paid. Luckily...he'd had some money stuffed down in the bottoms of his pockets he hadn't noticed at the furniture store...otherwise he'd be in a pickle with his wallet with Miyako.

He couldn't keep his phone out, shoving it back into his pockets as he gathered the bags into his arms, the heat from the hot food warming his arms up almost immediately as he exited the shop.

A lot...definitely a lot, but it'd pretty much all get eaten; if they surprisingly didn't finish all of it...well, there'd be leftovers.

Considering the hot food, it'd be really good to have it while eating in a cold room with a warm kotatsu. It'd been...a good idea, he believed.

Without problems, he made it back to his apartment, having a little difficulty opening the door, but he managed. "O-Oi...back..."

Miyako was tired and it didn't help her face was red and she was light headed a bit from reading this manga... It wasn't like she didn't know what this meant! It just...she...didn't normally have it happen outside of things!

Still though, the poor Mermaid... Getting to the part where the Prince started to fill Lotte with life energy, she dosed off a bit and then fell into a soft slumber with her hand on the book holding it open and her head next to book. She barely more than stirred slightly as Hibiki reentered the apartment, a soft little mumble his only greeting as the kitten was sleeping on Miyako's back as well.

"Hm?" Aito blinked once...twice as he noticed Miyako had dozed off while he he'd been out and...reading...that...

He moved the the table, setting the bags of food down before he began unloading them, setting out the udon bowls, along with the curry rice and ramen...as well as the odango he'd gotten. Just getting near the table he could feel warmth from it...

Once he went to the fridge and got drinks as well, he sat those down before finally going to...see this manga Selena had sent. Sliding it out from Miyako's grasp he went to look at the-

"Ghu....g....h...." Aito couldn't really even get a sputter out, paling at...at whatever the hell this was. Wha...Wha....

Wha....t....

Horror almost seemed like an understatement to describe his expression at the moment.

Miyako stirred more as she felt the book get removed. She was still all wrapped up in his jacket and with sleepy eyes she looked up and blinked with a small smile. Rolling to her back, she yawned and stretched on the floor before waving one sleeve covered hand. "I smell food...Huh? Whats...whats wrong?"

The sleepy girl finally noticed the utter...utter...what was that?! Terror? Horror!? She then noticed the manga in his hand...and squeaked rather loudly before blushing. His sleeves hung over her hands as she brought them to her face to hide it. "I-Its just life energy! She'll...she'll die without it!"

That was not life energy!

"That...That is not-!" His words came out quick, but...but holy shit.

This was... Selena had...sent Miyako... Why!? Why of all things to send the girl she sends...sends fucking this!? What the hell!? It was just...crummy porn!

Aito quickly put the book down, holding it to the floor, closed with his hand; they...they should get rid of these. Definitely, they should definitely get rid of these.

Hibiki seemed really horrified by this but Miyako was mainly just flustered. She hadn't...intended to be caught...reading it...Selena had sent it, whoever she was...and it was just... Hibiki was holding the book closed with his hand but...

Instead she pulled the bag over, and pulled out the note and held it open for him to see...it was filled...with the other volumes and more. She blinked a bit, still blushing but with a small shy smile. "But...I wanna know if she gets to marry the Prince...after he gives her all that...life energy..."

Aito remained in his horrified position as Miyako went about showing him the note Selena had also sent with the books. He stared at it for...quite a few moments, each word on the note sinking in before...

He stood.

Just stood, and walked over towards his bed, sat down, picked up his laptop, opened it, and waited on it to start up...

...before many hard key mashes could be heard as Aito sent many skype messages that were probably just unintelligible, all-caps, shouting to Selena. She was offline, but she'd get them...

She would get them.

Sending something like that! Sending something like...like that of all fucking things!

"Gh-g..g..." Wanted to find out if she married the Prince after he gives... No. No, no, no. "You don't. Yo..u...really don't...."

Distract her from this garbage...distract...

"Food, behind you...."

Once Hibiki stood, she nabbed the manga to her chest again and watched as he walked over to his computer. She was on her back so she had to tilt her head up as far as it would go to see him smash at the keys. Was...had he even made words?

Miyako blinked, slowly opening the manga back up so she could try to keep reading... she froze like a startled animal as he spoke, as if he couldn't see what she had been doing by just being utterly still. "But I do."

The reminder of food was a hugely obvious distraction tactic and her green eyes stared guilelessly up at him for a few moments before they darted to the food on the table. She blinked...they went to the manga she has barely opened again...back to the table...

She knew...it was to distract her...but...there was so much of it... Setting aside the volume she popped up with a happy grin. "All right fiiiine. I'll eat! Thank you Hibiki."

"Y...You don't..." Aito muttered, one last time before...

The distraction worked, the distraction thankfully...thankfully worked. Miyako's attention went to the food as she agreed to eat and while she was focused on that he set his laptop aside and went about...stealthily nabbing the books to hide them.

She...She did not need to find out anything...

They were promptly stuffed under his bed before he went to join her at the kotatsu.

It was...definitely warm at the kotatsu. He took one of the udon bowls, though also taking one of the many odango sticks first before he even focused on the udon.

Miyako was definitely distracted by the food, Hibiki's grabbing of all the manga going unnoticed as she grabbed an udon bowl, the plate of curry rice and a bowl of ramen. She also grabbed a large stack of odango sticks, smiling up a storm as she noticed...just how much food he had gotten. He'd even gotten odango too...

She was blushing as she ate, her heart racing with happiness at...how thoughtful he was. By the time he sat down though, her udon bowl was emptied and at least three of the sticks of odango were bare. Miyako flushed as she devoured everything in front of her, starving after having made the table and the house between her last meal and now...

Even as she was flushed though, her smile never faded as she glanced over at Hibiki every once in a while... How...how could she thank him for...how thoughtful...he had been...

Aito was a bit slow with eating in comparison to Miyako, but it wasn't like he paid any mind to it. He started on his udon once he'd eaten the stick of odango he'd taken. The food was good, definitely good in this environment.

Cold room, hot food, warm kotatsu...

Thinking of the kotatsu...

"...Table looks...good..." He stated, a bit above a mutter after he'd swallowed the noodles he'd had in his mouth.

Miyako had finished the curry rice and squeaked in surprise as Hibiki finally spoke. The table looked...good? She blushed and hung her head, nodding. "Th-Thanks...I thought...black would look...better..."

Than another color... though it was entirely wood, she thought maybe ebony though...wasn't that impossible?

She was definitely comfortable, though she should probably take his coat off soon...just without long sleeves she'd get cold... Pausing her eating for a moment, she slipped it off and let it fall from her shoulders in a pool. "Thanks for the coat too. I-It's kept me warm..."

"A...Ah...yeah..." Aito gave a nod, agreeing with Miyako's words; the black and the dark green worked well together, he thought so anyway...and Miyako thought that too so...

It looked good then, and it also worked just fine in keeping them warm.

When she mentioned the coat he gave another nod, smaller than the last; "Mn..."

Like earlier, it was easily assumable that that noise meant "Welcome..."

Hibiki's version of welcome made her smile at him before she returned her attentions to the food. He felt it looked nice too... so things were good!

Miyako devoured her food as she gave off a pleased and rather sparkly air as she filled the black hole stomach. It was much colder without the coat but really the kotatsu kept her legs warm, it...really felt like fall. She leaned backwards, falling to the floor with a stick filled with the sweet balls on it in her mouth. The young woman then pulled the stick from her mouth to speak, limply holding her final food up.

"Hibiki?" She murmured quietly, her eyes moving over to him as she smiled.

Aito continued eating, mostly sticking to the odango and his bowl of udon... It was enough, he probably had average stomach when it came to food now, so he was eating rather well from his point of view. Average tolerance and all...

His eyes went to Miyako as she addressed him, raising a brow as he pulled the now empty stick of odango from his mouth before setting it down on the table. "Mn?"

"Mm...You are the best." Miyako closed her eyes and shot him her brightest smile, extremely happy as she laid there on the floor, full and content and warm for the most part. She laughed softly before yelping as she tried to bite a piece off of the odango with her eyes closed and instead stabbed herself with the stick.

"A....Ah...."

Aito reached for his drink, immediately taking a few sips from it as he averted his eyes after the compliment. Whatever...

His attention returned to her though at the yelp, she'd...stuck her mouth with the stick hadn't she?

"Careful...can't stick a bandage at the back of your mouth..."

Well he wasn't wrong...

Was Hibiki...flustered? That was new... well not entirely, but it seemed he had enjoyed the compliment. She meant it though!

"W-Well I'm sure one of my brushes could fit down there! So as long as I can hold off gagging I'll be fine!" Miyako stuttered out, a bit flushed over the incident in the first place and Hibiki's words just making it worse. Still her...own retort made her turn even darker red. J-Just what!? No! No!

She rolled to her side and curled up a bit, rather ashamed of herself.

Tha...That response...

She'd already been too heavily influenced...without even realizing...by those damn books, hadn't she? Damn it, Selena... Why send those...? Why...? Those weren't helpful at all!

His eyes were definitely averted before he gave a slight huff, finally falling back himself; clean up later...he was stuffed and didn't want to deal with things like cleaning up dishes right now...

Hibiki flopped back as well, distracting Miyako was her utter embarrassment for just long enough to allow her to recover. Miyako uncurled with a deep breath, deciding to forget that she had ever spoken such a thing and then glanced over at Hibiki... Setting the odago stick on the table, she smiled a bit despite her red face and sat up slightly before moving to her hands and knees.

Crawling the short distance to his side, she smiled down at him as she set her butt down next to him and even with the chill air making her formerly warm legs pop out in goosebumps, she didn't seemed to mind for the moment. Without a word, Miyako reached up and brushed back a few of her bangs before leaning down and...settling her lips against Hibiki's. I-It had been tempting! And they were dating now...so this was fine... They hadn't even...kissed yet...
