"...'Sgood." Chiyo's eyes never left the news on the television, blinking as she ate her cake in silence for a few seconds before speaking. "Cake's warm. So's the drinks. They've been out a while..."

She blinked a few times taking a sip of her drink. Those two had been up to something upstairs. She was ten not stupid! Gross...so gross...

Miyako finally found another, hidden in the back, cake. It was a mini cake and not the slices the others had been and she grinned as she held it in one hand while the canned drinks in the other. Moving back to the living room, she looked down at the pair before handing over the drink and settling herself in. "Found some~ Here, Hibiki."

"..." Aito left it at that as Chiyo quieted, continuing to watch and stare at the news on the television. He had nothing more to say on the matter other than the response he had given.

He was silent up until Miyako returned with the drinks, giving a nod to her that was meant to signify a thanks. "M...Mn..."

The word was something he'd attempted to get out earlier, but...even now it was still difficult.

Chiyo's eyes darted over, before she moved back to ignoring Hibiki's existence. Yep. Gross.

Listening as she heard the man have trouble saying thank you, Chiyo blinked and turned to her sister. "...Thanks."

She then turned away and continued sipping her drink. He couldn't even say thank you on command! She...couldn't normally either, but she was the only one allowed to be like this to her sister!

Miyako for her part seemed confused, why was Chiyo thanking her? She just smiled at Hibiki and nodded in acceptance of his obvious thanks, before pulling her own cake closer. "Welcome!"

"So Chiyo, when'll mom and dad be back?" Miyako asked between bites, slowly scooting closer to Hibiki so she could reach over and touch him a bit more.

"...Soon. Doing the books." Chiyo muttered, eyes still on the news which was now talking about the weather.

Aito took a sip from his drink as Miyako seated herself, not really having much of a reaction to Chiyo's ability to thank her sister. He...He just needed to work on it...with...anyone really. Gratitude still felt somewhat foreign.

He was quiet as Miyako asked about her parents; so they'd be home soon too...well, that was a given, it was probably what....late afternoon now?

This was awkward... Miyako thought for the eighth time in the past several minutes. She was eating cake and vibrating with the need to talk, Hibiki was silent as usual and Chiyo as well.... Chiyo seemed to be ignoring them on purpose, she was miffed about SOMETHING.

What could bring them closer together though...

Looking at the Tv, she then looked down at the game system... then back at Chiyo and Hibiki...

There were more than enough controllers, Mom and Dad played at times too...

"Lets play Mario Party!" She announced to the two quiet ones. It might get their competitive juices going and help them open up!

...Hah?

What the hell was that? Aito blinked, looking over to Miyako after her announcement. That was...a game, he assumed. Party? What was it some simple party game? He couldn't be entirely sure, sometimes titles could be deceiving...

What was it then?

"?"

Chiyo looked over at Miyako before getting up and moving to the TV in acceptance. She liked playing that game... not that she'd admit it.

Miyako just grinned as her idea was at least a success on one field turning to the unsure Hibiki. Scooting to his side, she leaned up and wrapped her arms around his neck as she gave him a hug. This hid her leaning up to his ear and whispering softly.

"It's a video game where its almost like a board game, but with fun little mini games. It isn't hard to learn! Unless you would rather watch? I can just sit on your lap and get cuddles if you'd prefer that..."

Chiyo ignored them as she changed the channel, took out the other game and began grabbing controllers.

"Any...thing's fine..." Aito answered, his voice quiet to answer Miyako.

He didn't mind if she sat in his lap, she seemed to want to? If she wanted to she was free to do so.

So as he said...anything was fine.

"He's playing." Chiyo grumbled behind Miyako, setting two controllers on the table as she looked away from the pair. Seeing her sister hanging off a guy... euch. Gross.

She mimicked gagging just in time for Miyako to look over, pretending she hadn't made such a motion as she started the wii up.

Miyako for her part sighed and nuzzled Hibiki's head lightly before turning. He was fine with anything then? "Can you see well from here? If so... make room, I can sit on your lap and you can play too."

It would be nice!

Chiyo's eye twitched... She set the AI difficulty to Hard.

He...guessed he was playing then.

Whatever; he didn't get how to really play now, but from what Miyako had explained to him he guessed he would come to understand it. That understanding would probably come easier once he was actually playing it.

"'Can see fine..." Aito replied, leaning back some as Miyako had asked so he could make room.

If his arms went around her then he could play with her sitting in his lap, seemed simple enough.

Hibiki could see fine then? Good... The young woman moved and plopped herself in front of him before leaning back against his chest. It always felt nice to sit and sleep like this... She could feel his heart beat easily.

Then, Miyako grabbed one of the controllers and held up up for Hibiki could see how it was done. She didn't want to make him feel bad by over explaining and she also knew he was damned smart in a very hands on way, he picked up things rather fast. Speaking in a quiet voice as it started up, her head tilted up a bit though she couldn't see Hibiki this way. "This is the main button for accepting things, to make the speech bubbles and stuff speed up or to say yes to things. You use the stick to move things around, like a pointer or your character..."

"I've got dibs on Yoshi." Chiyo grumbled as she started up the map and they went to a selection screen for characters. Miyako immediately went for Peach, which left Hibiki to figure his out... She'd give him small bits of help if he seemed like he needed it...

Aito waited until Miyako had plopped down and situated herself before moving his around around front of her; sitting like this he'd still be able to use the controller, just as he thought.

He watched as she demonstrated how to use the controllers and what buttons did what. He made sure to pay attention, memorizing what she said and made sure he understood it. It wasn't really much to memorize, simple things really...

Her sister had Yoshi...whatever the hell that was, and Miyako had picked the princess character; he'd just pick...whatever really, it didn't matter to him. He simply picked at random, it was a dinosaur...thing? Dinosaur...turtle....thing...?

Miyako gave a little giggle as she saw Hibiki's choice, Chiyo glancing back and glaring slightly. Stealing the princess...

Chiyo was out for blood now.

As the game started up, Miyako explained certain things as best as she could to Hibiki, who was a quick learner so she didn't worry too much. He had good reflexes and picked things up fast so Miyako was perfectly fine just explaining small bits to him. Chiyo chafed at the slowness sometimes of starting minigames, but her older sister just smiled brightly and the younger girl grumbled and turned away again.

Somehow between Hibiki's quick picking up of the game mechanics and the luck of mario party...after a while of playing he ended up being the winner. Miyako leaned her head back to look at him as the congrats screen and credits ran while Chiyo fell to the floor in utter defeat.

"Haha! See, wasn't too hard 'Biki! You picked that up fast~" She sparkled all over the place, little flowers joining them too as the young woman set her controller down and then lifted her hands up to Hibiki's cheeks.

Was the girl glaring at him...?

Aito wasn't sure if he was imagining it or not, but... whatever; he just picked a character at random, and now he'd play the game along with them.

The results were a tad surprising, though above surprise smug was something he felt a bit more strongly. He'd won. He never played this game ever before in his damn life and he'd won.

Heh.

"Ah..." Yes, yes he had picked it up fast.

With much willpower, he kept his expression in it's usually composed state, though his eyes subtly gave away his emotions.

Miyako could tell Hibiki was smug and she shifted in his arms, pushing them out a bit as she turned and faced him slightly. With the happiest grin her arms went around his neck, though one hand still held the controller, and then she planted a happy kiss on his lips. "Eeeh you can be smug, you kicked our butts! We are the champions at this game, even mom can't beat us! Though I think the game liked you, you got lots of the random items."

Chiyo flipped onto her back, saw her sister being all cutesy with her boyfriend and gagged. "Get a room..."

Her eyes darted away and she huffed silently on the floor, grumpy as all hell to have lost to that amateur even if she had beat her sister score wise.

Aito was still as Miyako suddenly kissed him, his eyes having widened for just a short second before he relaxed again. His momentary surprise though left him no time to respond as she pulled back and spoke.

"A...Ah..."

He averted his eyes for a moment, glancing to the side and then up as he attempted to muffle the previously stated smugness again. Miyako claimed he was allowed, but...

Hn?

Hearing her sister's comment, his eyes glanced over to her for a short moment; she... well it probably was...weird to just... Erm...

Was Hibiki nervous? Miyako didn't know, but she knew she had shocked him. His smug eyes disappeared for only a brief moment and she started to realize that Hibiki looked away to try and manage his emotions... Like... right now...

It was a bit of a shock and she gave a happy giggle as she pulled back from him. He was trying his hardest and his looks away were just that, him trying to... to cover... Chiyo's words cut her thoughts off, causing an immediate reaction.

She flopped to her back, flipping to her side and then crawled over to the younger girl who hadn't had time to respond. Chiyo looked on fearfully as Miyako nabbed her and pulled her into a floor cuddle. She nuzzled the girl's head as she struggled in her arms. "Aww don't worry Chi I still love you toooo. Don't get jealous of Hibiki, he needs love too."

She was laughing a bit evilly while Chiyo grumbled with her arms outstretched and squirmed. She didn't speak, just made grumpy noises."

Aito's eyes moved back to Miyako as she crawled over towards her sister, watching as she nabbed the younger girl and snuggled her. Chiyo couldn't give anything more than grumbles...

Hearing Miyako's comment about him needing love, he glanced away, his hand itching to move to his hair to ruffle, but he resisted the urge to do so.

"Then LOVE HIM instead!" Chiyo finally grumbled loudly, to Miyako's glee as she grinned and let go of the tsun. Miyako for her part laughed and shook her head. "But you said not to!"

"Fine, I don't care give him all the love." Her sister was blushing lightly as she stood up, hands fisted at her sides, her face hiding all the enjoyment she'd taken from that but... her eyes were happier and lighter than before.

She had been jealous...

Miyako turned to look at Hibiki who...what? Was something wrong? He was looking away. "Do...you want love too?"

Was that it?

Attention... He knew damn well that's what they were talking about, but couldn't they say attention instead!? Gh... W-What was that about him needing it too!?

W-Well...

Hearing Miyako address him, he looked back at her for a moment; "Y'see me daily almost...m'fine..."

She was here and she was seeing her family after not having done so in awhile, he would be fine; besides, that almost daily would end up turning into daily considering their earlier conversation with apartments... He'd be fine...

Miyako looked at Chiyo, Chiyo looked at Miyako... and then Chiyo waved her hand and went to the living room door. "Give him love. Mom and Dad should be home soon. I want to change."

She rolled her eyes, stepping out of the room and making her way upstairs to get out of her uniform.

Miyako was freed for a few brief moments to dive for Hibiki, much happier and more excited than she had been in...well a long time. Probably since before she had met him...now that she thought about it. Her cheek nuzzled his head, lightly and happily as she giggled. "She doesn't like it too much, so I have to hold back but she's so adorable! Its hard..."

"...."

Aito blinked, not saying anything as the two girls looked at each other before Chiyo promptly excused herself, leaving the two of them alone as she left the living room and headed upstairs.

"It's fi-nf!" He was about to tell Miyako the whole attention thing towards him was fine again, but had been unable to finish his words as she dove for him. His arms went around her waist, somewhat returning the embrace she had on him as she nuzzled his head.

"A-Ah..."

Pulling back after a few moments, Miyako was blushing brightly from how...exuberant she'd been though her arms didn't unwrap from him. Hibiki's hold on her was nice too... "Sorry, I got a little too enthusiastic there."

Her eyes darted away, a habit she was picking up from him as she settled back down. Though there was a sound at the front door, of two voices rather close that made her perk up much like a dog or cat hearing an owner come home...or maybe a little otter knowing its time for food...

The front door slid open with a soft sound before an obviously male voice called out. "We're home! Did your sister get in yet Chi?"

"I did, Dad! Welcome home!" Miyako's voice was happy as she called to the front, releasing Hibiki and rushing from the room to go greet her parents as she promptly...got distracted...from the tsun...

"s'Fine..." Aito replied as Miyako apologized; she didn't need to...it was fine. She was fine to become enthusiastic over this stuff.

Hearing the voice though, his attention was drawn to it as Miyako hopped up and ran to the door to greet her parents.

His attention went to the side for a moment, unsure if he should...stand and follow or just...sit here. Sit...here was fine. Mn...

"I missed you two!" Miyako's voice could easily be heard from the living room as she greeted both parents happily. Her father walked in, rather short and petite for a man followed by her equally petite mother, though both were slightly taller than her. The man had dark blueish black hair, and bright green eyes that were trained on the young woman who had ran to greet them.

His arms opened as he dropped his bag, just in time as Miyako dove for him and was held tightly in a hug. "I missed you too. I bet your mom did too! Ah, look at you all grown up! I'm going to cry right now."

A soft swat followed his words and a grumble. "Get out of the waaay and let me see her. Its only been a few months, if you start crying over this I'll swat you again."

"No swatting, Dad can cry if he wants to." Miyako dropped down and greeted her mother the same way, the light red-brown haired woman with soft blue eyes holding her daughter just as tightly as her father had though she was more careful with her package.

Finally getting let go, her father having slipped off his shoes and made his way a bit down the hall, Miyako sniffed the air and then looked down. "Aaah is that a cake I smell?"

Meanwhile the very handsome man in his early thirties blinked as he peeked into the living room. He had forgotten... the boyfriend was here too. He had expected Chiyo... Giving a slightly awkward laugh, Keitaro smiled and waved while holding a box with his fingers. "Hello. Welcome? I'm Miyako's dad, Keitaro Inoue..."
