Sleep, peaceful, comfortable sleep... It was one of the finest things that life could possibly offer. Aito was completely out still, enjoying his peaceful slum-

"Gh!!?" Jolted awake by the noise, a surprised sound escaped him as he was forced from slumber.

Wh-What the hell was that!? What the he-

A heavy groan escaped him; damn it... Damn it, he didn't want to get up! Ggh... He'd been sleeping so nicely too! Gahhhhh!

Why this!?

With Hibiki rubbing off on her, Miyako had started appreciating sleep all the more... especially when she was cuddled up to or on top of the man. Her head nuzzled his neck in her sleep as she had the sweetest happy dreams...


"Uwaaaa?!" Miyako squeaked and then grumbled as she jolted into consciousness at the familiar, but also evil sound coming from outside of her bedroom. It had been a sweet dream... Groaning, she hadn't wanted to be awake as much as Hibiki, her eyes opened and she lifted her head to yell. "CHIIIIIIIIIII!"


There was a scrambling sound outside of the door as the girl ran off... Miyako was wide awake now and shifted on Hibiki's body, her head turning back so she could look down at him sleepily. She gave him her sweetest smile, tempered even more by the cute sleepiness on her face before her head dropped to his neck. "I wanna go back to sleeeeep..."

Chi...Chiyo, ah yeah....Miyako's sister, that'd been... Ugh... He didn't want to wake up, he didn't want to get up at all damn it! He wanted to just stay out until...he didn't know! Until he actually woke up on his own without being urged by another party to do so!

Gah...

He gave a small nod at Miyako's words, his own eyes still shut and his hair floofed up a bit from having been sleeping.

"Mn..." He did not want to get up either...

Miyako knew though if she didn't... the pans again... Midmorning was it? Her arms moved across Hibiki's chest to move to the floor so she could push herself off of him. Head leaving his neck after giving it a soft kiss, she yawned and looked down at her cute boyfriend. 

Smiling just a bit, the young woman kissed his cheek and moved the rest of her off of him before running a hand through his hair. "You go back to sleep 'Biki. I'll go take the food downstairs and eat..."

If he was this tired, she could keep them distracted and let him sleep more.

"Mn..." He wanted to, he really did... "s'....s'Fine...fine..."

He wanted to go back to sleep, but he might as well get up... Even if it was early still; little by little he'd wake up...slowly. Gugh... He used to wake up so fast, but that was before comfortable sleep existed.

Shortly after Miyako pushed herself off of him, he attempted to sit up himself properly, a hand moving to his face before sliding it into his hair to push his hair back for a few moments.

While Hibiki messed his hair up more, sitting up to wake up it seemed, Miyako reached out and tried to help him sleepily. "Mm, but you can. I can go down and let you sleep in more? So sleep?"

Her helping hand ended up being more of a playing with hair hand and she smiled more as she sat there. Chiyo hadn't come back yet, which was a relief, but she might come back soon... Bah... Miyako wanted to stay with Hibiki a bit longer.

"Mn...s'Fine...m..." Aito replied; he'd be fine...he could get up. It would just take a bit, and by a bit it would take a bit longer than a short few moments.

Pulling his head away from his hair, he shook his head in attempt to set his hair straight though it needed brushing.

Yeah, he'd be fine waking up...

Miyako grinned more, the sleep fading from her but not enough as she leaned up to kiss his cheek after he'd shook his head again. "Cute puppy Hibiki..."

Her words were softly spoken as she moved to get up, using the bed to lever her half awake body to stand and then look around for her bag. Dressed...she needed... dressed... Under her breath, she sang a few lines of a happy song that had been stuck in her head a few weeks back but had also played a major role in her dream not too long ago. "Ponpon...wei pon...wei..."

"Mn..." He made no comment towards the puppy remark, too sleepy to do so...though even if he weren't sleepy, would he even bother to comment? He hadn't when she'd mentioned puppy-like nature in the bath yesterday...more so...he'd encouraged it hadn't he?

He finally cracked open an eye after Miyako got up, glancing over towards her as she started singing under her breath.

Mn... Changed, he needed to get dressed...first wake up a little bit...more.

Hibiki liked his title as a puppy? That was the cutest... Aaah! Miyako's sleepy filled mind was slowly waking up, but that pierced the veil enough to cause her to giggle softly amidst her song. She made it to her bag, plopping onto her butt and legs as she couldn't bend over with half awake mind as she pulled out her bathing suit for later and another change of clothes. A skirt as usual and a corset styled top as well, she'd gotten it with money from her parents for her birthday but they'd still get her something to unwrap as well.

Stripping, she pilled her pajamas next to her before standing up to finish the job, still singing that happy song under her breath.

Slowly waking up...slowly...very slowly. Aito knew he needed to get changed, but he needed to wake up a decent bit more before he would attempt moving. He sat there as Miyako went about getting dressed, listening as she continued to mutter that song under her breath after she'd giggled...? It'd sounded like it...

"...Mn... " Soon he'd get up...eventually.

All set in her new outfit, she stretched and yawned with her arms above her head. Miyako turned around, still sleepy but happy as she noticed Hibiki still on the futon... He was so cute when he was sleepy. She nabbed a brush and got hers into some semblance of order before moving back to the futon and leaning down to brush Hibiki's hair.

The young woman was definitely more awake than he was, waking up faster as well. "I'll head done in a few moments, would you rather have tea or coffee?"

Aito sat still as he felt Miyako began getting his hair brushed some now that she was dressed, and his eyes slipped shut again for a few moments as she continued to set his hair straight.

"Either's fine..." Either would be fine, he liked both pretty much equally... So if Miyako were going to fix one he would just have whatever she had. "Whatever's easier..."

With Hibiki's hair all brushed, he could shake it how he wanted to fix it and Miyako kissed the side of his head again before standing up. She yawned and gave a wave as she headed for the door, her head turned back just for a moment to watch Hibiki. "Okaay. I'll make some tea then. We have some western styled teas, good for breakfast... I think."

Her voice was still drowsy but she was obviously happy, especially since she could make him some tea as well. She bent over to grab the tray of cold food before taking it out with her, he'd be down whenever he was ready and if he wasn't ready before she made him tea then... well he'd just get it in bed!

"Mn..." Aito gave a nod, that was fine...they'd have tea then, he'd be down...whenever. He gave another sleepy nod as Miyako headed out of the room with the tray of food that'd previously been brought to them.

As she left, his hand came up to wipe his eyes as if trying to wipe away the sleepy. It didn't really work too well but it was easier to keep his eyes open...somewhat.

He sucked at waking up...

Miyako headed down the stairs with the tray, holding it in one hand while eating off of it with the other. Even cold the bacon was good... Her family ate in so many different styles so she had a wide range of flavors to always choose from. The omurice would still be good cold, but the pancakes not so much...

Sighing she headed into the kitchen and saw her dad there who grinned as he took in the sight of Miyako eating and carrying a tray. "Aah I see those lessons at the cafe are working out for you?"

"Yep! Hehe, I'm getting so much better! I can almost make some of the coffee drinks now too, though I mostly stick to the sweets." Miyako grinned and held out the tray for her father to take. "Dad I'm gonna make some tea for me and Mr. Sleepy upstairs. Do we have any donuts?"

Her father nodded and went to pull the box out of the fridge before Miyako started to make the tea water. 

Chiyo for her part was upstairs, peeking into the open door of the bedroom and staring at the adorable puppy Hibiki. It was a far cry from quiet Hibiki and almost grumpy Hibiki of the day before. Her camera peeked around the edge and she took a few shots of him rubbing his eyes. She wondered how much Miyako would pay her for these...

Aito hardly noticed the camera snapping that signified pictures, too sleepy and also too distracted with trying to make himself not sleepy. They were just faint background noises to him...

Wake up, damn it...

His mind said wake up, but his heart said go back to bed. He had been told it would be alright for him to, but he needed to wake up...

"Mn..."

Miyako ate the cold food while waiting for the water to heat up, chatting with her father and snacking quite a bit. She cleared the tray, put a bit of sugar and some creamer much like how this style of tea was to be drank and then arranged a large plate of all sorts of donuts. Hibiki'd have his choice~ They were all her favorites.

Her father watched with happy eyes, ruffling her hair and teasing her a bit but both were obviously happy and secure in their company. Once the water was finished heating she got it all set to drink before taking it upstairs on the tray. Hibiki was still sleepy it seemed, this had only taken her maybe ten minutes at best...

Her sister stood in her bedroom doorway, holding out a camera and nodding towards the open door down the hall.

"I have the goods. Gimme an offer later and I'll share..." Chiyo's tone was bribing as she held up the camera, waving it in offering with a smirk for once. Miyako's eyes widened and she whined softly. "Its my biiirthday soon. Just... we'll talk about it later!"

The tea would get cold! Miyako hurried back into the bedroom with the tray of new breakfast.

Hearing the voices a bit more clearly outside, Aito opened an eye just as Miyako stepped in; it hadn't been long since she'd left...maybe ten or so minutes by his estimation...maybe? It was hard to tell without actually looking at a clock or something.

"Mn..." It was meant as sort of a greeting, acknowledging the fact that she was back now, just before a yawn escaped him.

Miyako carried the tray over to the futon, trying to stifle her smile at how unbearably adorable Hibiki was right now. Was this how he was when he didn't need to be up and hadn't woken himself willingly? "Morning Mr Puppy."

He really did look just like a drowsy puppy... She couldn't help the giggle at the though and set the tray of food and tea down near him. "I didn't know how you wanted your tea so I just... brought it all up. Want a donut?"

"Mn...s'Fine." Aito replied, giving a small nod to her offer; he didn't feel particularly hungry just yet but that was probably just due to his sleepiness. He'd need to eat, and a donut right now seemed just fine.

He didn't care what kind...

Miyako nodded, pushing the tray closer to him so Hibiki could get whatever he wanted off... though maybe he wanted her to feed him? She flushed a bit, finishing up making her tea sweet and milky before picking up a donut with little kitty ears on it and holding up to his mouth.

He had liked the kompeito feeding and was really sleepy... Maybe this would help?

Mn? Donut? He noticed the donut Miyako held up to him, and without really thinking on it he leaned in and took a bite from it. Getting fed like this wasn't really something he minded, depending on the person doing the feeding really...

He was fine to eat donuts like this, he was still sleepy and waking up, so this was fine, and good.

How was Hibiki this tired and groggy? Miyako wasn't sure at all but she wasn't letting this gift go to waste. Smiling softly, she held up the donut for him to eat while picking up her tea and taking a careful sip. "Tell me how you want yours and I'll get it made for you."

She didn't mind, she did this for customers all the time so why not her cute puppy boyfriend~

"...Sweet's fine..." Aito replied after swallowing his bite from the donut.

Sweet would be good, it'd probably help him wake up further as well, make it easier to wake up. He was too sleepy still, gh... This was why he needed to wake up on his own, he took way too damn long to get up when he wasn't ready to...

"Mn..." He gave a small nod after speaking, the small sound meant to signify a thanks.
