Destructive Models

A content sigh escaped Masaru as he stretched his arms up, he'd finished his work for the day without going overboard. It was an accomplishment in every sense of the word.

If he'd managed to overwork himself again Mia would be...quite upset with him, which he didn't want to make her that way at all.

Sometimes he rarely noticed when he did, but today was a good day where he'd stopped when he was supposed to.

Now... He could get some tea perhaps, relax...

"All done?" Mia peeked her head in the doorway, violet eyes bright as she took in the sight of the carefully stacked up work and the man who seemed more relaxed than he would while working. "Or just a break?"

She stepped inside following her words, a tray with a few snacks and some tea for him in her hands as she moved to the desk. If he was done it was much earlier than she expected... Mia couldn't help smiling at that, it would be nice to have him for a few hours without him worrying over the work left behind. "I finished Zomi's lesson today and thought you might want something to snack on before dinner."

"All done, actually." Masaru smiled, his eyes moving to Mia as she appeared in the doorway and entered the room. He let his arms rest, settling them back on the desk. "I just finished, I knocked out what needed to be done and thought it would be a good place to stop. How'd the lesson go?"

Nozomi seemed happy to learn lately, especially so since Mia would be the one there to mainly help her. It was good they'd started these lessons, though he...still felt a bit guilty for not starting them earlier...especially now that he saw how willing and happy Nozomi was to learn from them.

He looked at the snacks Mia had brought in, along with the tea and nodded; "Thank you, Mia; I was just thinking of going to prepare some tea."

All done? Mia's smile grew as she made it to the desk and bent to set the tea and small little cheesecakes in front of Masaru. Holding the tray, she bent down and kissed his cheek before pulling back and keeping her smile. "That's a surprise. I was expecting you to be working till late again."

Maybe they could definitely spend some time together... She had some sewing work she could use him for! First though before she could put forth that she got flustered over the thought of her teaching.

"She's doing really good, really eager to learn so it makes it easy on me. Ahah, I am not sure I'm up to the task yet... B-But Zomi's picking up more and more characters really fast! She's reading me a few books now for practice." Mia blushed and brushed aside bangs, her hair down for once lately. With the triplets to do it so much she'd only barely gotten used to having her hair up almost all the time now.

"Well it was time for a break at least so I figured I might as well bring something to tempt you away from work." Masaru's words made her happy though and she teased him softly, "I have to practice serving you anyways!"

A happy chuckle escaped him as Mia explained how Nozomi was doing; "That's good, I'm happy to hear she's catching on fast; it's good her eagerness makes it easier on you as well, if she's picking up things then I'm sure you're doing a fine job."

Nozomi was learning fast, and she was making things easy on Mia... It was a relief, things were going smoothly for them so he didn't have any worries about it.

"I didn't want to worry you by overworking myself... so I made sure to stop early!" She had said she was surprised, well...it was rare, but he was trying to learn to manage his work in proper doses for her...

P-Practice...serving him, though...

That earned a blush, even...even if...

"I hope when the novelty wears off she'll still be as eager... And when I get to the harder stuff..." Sighing softly, she shook her head and tried to not show how pleased she was to hear Masaru's praise. If he felt she was doing a good job... "I-I think I might start teaching her astronomy next. M-Maybe... Its a fun subject and maybe I can catch her interest so she can get more... U-Um! Sorry."

She rambled about her thoughts on teaching and quickly stopped herself with a sheepish smile. That was quickly replaced with a bright one as she made sure Masaru would eat by moving it closer to his hand and stepping back again.

"Mm! That's good. If you can remember my worry and grumpiness then maybe there's hope for you yet." Mia teased more as he replied, pleased by Masaru's words and cocking her hip with a hand on it. "Thank you... Now eat a bit or you'll be starving soon. I made your favorites."

"I think she will be, she tended to ask questions about my work and missions a lot in the past, so I believe she's always had a willingness to learn new things, even if they're difficult..." Masaru replied, having to think some as he thought back to the times when Nozomi had first come to live here, asking him all sorts of questions about being a shinigami and such...

He had answered them to the best of his ability.

"I-It's alright! I'm sure she'd love to learn about that!" Masaru's smile warmed at that; "Astronomy is a fun subject..."

There was a slight tint to his face, "Aha, perhaps... I'll keep it in mind so I won't overwork myself. I promise I'll do my best at remembering..."

He glanced down at the food as she mentioned, giving a nod as he first reached for one of the snacks, happy with the treat, of course. Food and tea... Mia was certainly thoughtful.

Mia's smile was soft as Masaru spoke, taking his words to heart and relaxing as she settled her hip and butt against the desk as she rested against it. "Ah...that is good. I won't worry too much then. I-I'll just try my best to teach her now that... Ahah, then I'll move to that next!"

Flushing deeply, she pushed aside the thoughts that still made both of them blush brightly and though she had to urge to touch Masaru too much she resisted. The desk was a good deterrent...

"Don't worry too much... Its what I'm here for too, helping you remember..." Mia felt a little bad for her words and tempered them with her reply, blushing slightly as she noticed his blush...

"Did you want to do something tonight then? Worry free since your work is done." Remembering her thoughts from earlier, she felt it best to broach the subject and see if he even felt up to something as he ate the snacks first. She was good at distracting him but really it was best when he could just utterly relax and not worry about what was waiting for him...

Mia obviously had all her work done already.

"Mhm, I'm sure you'll do fine." Masaru gave a small nod before he took a sip from the tea; he was sure Mia would do a fine job with the teachings for Nozomi, he had faith in the both of them.

Don't worry too much... Well, he didn't want to upset her with his habit of overworking himself; he knew it worried her...especially since that time he'd worked himself sick... He would be sure to attempt to keep his promise.

"Still, I'll be sure to watch myself more."

He was free from work for now, and had all the time to himself now; he could do whatever was needed of him. He could relax now...

Hm?

"Do you have anything in mind? If so we can do that... I wouldn't mind." If Mia had an idea of something they could do, then he would be happy with that. He wanted to spend time with her since he wasn't working.

Mia fought off her pleasure at his words, eating up Masaru's praise and trying not to feel too proud that he had such faith in her over this. She was teaching his sister, taking over the role of his wife... It was flustering and sobering to think about. It took a lot of time, a lot of her free time now practicing and learning for both their sakes.

"Thank you. I'll try not to worry too much and trust you more." Mia smiled and finally caved as he did agree to watch out more, bending down and kissing Masaru's head this time. The desk wasn't too big and she was already resting against it... Besides...no one else was around to see...

Blushing a bit, Mia's head nodded softly as she looked away at the question since she had had things in mind. "I-I got some of those... clothes done. I wanted to fit them on you but its... I didn't want to bring it up when you needed to rest and relax. I-It can be a bit hard being a model."

"If you really don't want to though I am sure there are other things!" Her hands waved a bit, trying to forestall him accepting just to make her happy...

"Welcome." Masaru gave another smile as Mia moved to kiss his head; affectionate gestures were more than welcome, it was...easier as well since they were alone.

He would try to keep his promise, and she would try not to worry as much... They both had their promises to try to keep then.

She'd...finished some of the clothes she'd been working on?

"T-That's fine! I-I wouldn't mind...if that's what you wanted to do." He wasn't exhausted or super tired or anything, he didn't...didn't mind trying on the clothes she'd finished up.

She worked hard to make those, so... b-besides, he was happy she wanted to make things for him.

Mia felt better when Masaru smiled over the kiss, still not used to just kissing him and touching him in public or more public places. His office counted... The shinigami smiled down at him and stood up though at his words, more nods following.

"I really would like to. Just I don't want to wear you out, so...so make sure to tell me if you get tired or anything." It wouldn't do to tired him out and her voice was as firm as she could make it through her happy fluster. She held the tray, staring down at the snacks and tea for Masa and then back at the tray... before speaking again.

"W-Well the accents aren't done yet but I won't start on those until the basic layers are done... S-So they won't be as...done yet..." Mia quickly corrected herself, she didn't want him thinking they would be fully done yet... When she'd said done it might have mislead him on what she had gotten done. It would be silly to add on all the extras when it wasn't fully fitted yet... They were definitely done enough to look nice though.

"U-Um I'll let you finish your tea. I-I can go prepare!" She hurried towards the door, her excitement almost making her rush out... before she rushed back to his side, around the desk and then bent down to really kiss him first.

THEN she attempted to hurry out, holding in a happy giggle.

"Then we'll do that then, you won't be wearing me out; I promise." Masaru attempted to reassure Mia; "I'm not tired, so I'll be fine."

His work hadn't exhausted him, and he was fine to do these things. It should be nice, Mia definitely seemed excited.

Even if the clothes weren't completely finished it was still fine by him. It would be a good idea to have them properly finished before accents or anything are put on them...

He watched as Mia ran off to prepare...before running back to him; it was a surprise, but he responded to the kiss before she pulled away. Excited, she was definitely excited.

He gave a small laugh as she rushed off again before moving to finish up with the snacks and tea. He would finish his tea and then they could get started!

Mia felt reassured as she rushed out, happy Masaru wasn't tired at all. That was good, he needed all the relaxing and rest he could get at times. He'd even responded to the kiss...

She was walking on clouds as she smiled and hurried through the halls. The few people that saw her smiled and tried not to laugh though Mia blushed, knowing she was amusing them... Mia didn't care though, Masaru would model for her!

He had time... and better yet the energy!

She made it to their bedroom, moving over to her corner with all her sewing stuff and the few other outfits she was fixing of her own. They were slightly buried in the mess, the corner not allowed to be touched and thus...thus kind of a cluttered mess like her house had been...

Mia had to get his outfits out and ready!

Masaru went about finishing his snacks and tea Mia had brought him, another content sigh escaping him as he finished his tea.

Mia...would be in their bedroom, as that was where her supplies and such were.

He moved from his desk once he was done, making sure to take the tray with him as he stepped out of the room. Sliding the door open with a free hand, he shut the door behind him after stepping out.

His destination was his room, but he was sure to stop one of the servants first for them to take the tray, thanking them as they accepted it from him.

Now...to the bedroom where Mia was setting up!

The totes...with her extra costumes needing altering... nooo... Mia laid under a ginormous pile of clothes groaning, the only sign of her was her hand sticking from the edge as she attempted to crawl her way out. Not again... They had tipped over as she did her hurried attempts to get his clothes out from under the projects she had been working on last night.

Mia turned over in the pile as it shook with her efforts, attempting to not be smothered under all that stupid lace and floof and spandex and every fabric imaginable...

"M-Mia!?" It didn't take long for Masaru to notice Mia buried under the pile of clothing after he'd stepped inside the bedroom, his eyes widening for a moment before he rushed over.

He attempted to push all of the clothing to the side, while still being careful with it, to get Mia out from under there.

"Here... You alright?" He questioned, once he was actually able to see her. Once the clothes had been pushed to the side, Masaru went about gently pulling Mia out and to him.

There was a call... an angel called her as she heard the bedroom door open and close. Her name... called from the height of heaven, unreachable in the hell that was this... When would she ever be able to save herself...

"The totes...fell over..." Mia groaned under the pile, unable to see light from the darkness of the clothing hell she found herself in. However Light poured in and the angel saved her, pushing away the clothes and pulling her out. She clung to the angel as a halo of light surrounded him, smiling as her arms wrapped around his chest and she was against him. "An angel saved me though Masa. Looked like you..."

She may have hit her head at some point...

"M...Mia...?" Masaru blinked, not minding Mia's sudden embrace but her words... "Y-...You're alright, right?"

The totes had fallen over, and now she was talking like... A-Angel!? Th-That... It had just been him, no...no angels anywhere...

His hand went to her head, lightly settling there; had she hit her head? If she had...he didn't want to put much pressure with head pets and hurt her...

"...Yes..." Mia, gathering her wits after the horrific almost smothering in her own hobby moments passing as well as her hitting her head, just turned bright red. Angel... "F-Fine... Please ignore my previous moments of..."

Of whatever that had been.

She winced as Masaru's hand settled on her head though, the back of it sensitive where she'd gone down and hit it on the floor. "Ow. I think I hit it there, that's...that's why..."

Still...angel gave her an idea at least... Masaru would make an amazing angel too...

At the wince, Masaru retracted his hand a look of concern crossing his features as he pulled it back; "Sorry, sorry... It... It doesn't hurt too badly? I can see about getting you something for it?"

If it hurt too badly she needed to sit for a bit, let the pain subside...

She was flustered from her...previous responses whens she'd been a bit out of it, but Masaru was in full-concern mode right now.

If she needed something for her head it was best for her to get it and relax...her feeling better obviously ranked above clothes...

"N-No! I'll be fine in a bit. I-It's only a tiny bit sore and it only hurt when you pressed a bit." Mia protested, she didn't want Masaru going at all and shook her head as a show. There was no wincing from the movement, she didn't feel any real pain it seemed...

"You have to try them on! They are..." Her head turning, Mia blinked at the large pile and then finished more weakly. "In...there..."

That pile was full of costumes... They'd have to sort through it all to find his... There were ones in there... that Masaru might blush over...

"A-Alright, if you say so..." He would trust Mia on her word, even if he was worried; she said she would be fine in a bit... If she believed that then he would as well, no need to get anything...

His eyes ventured to the large pile of clothes as she spoke; they were...somewhere amongst those...

Well...they would fine them, eventually...

"Alright, we can worry about...finding the outfits in a moment; once you're feeling better."

He would definitely try on what she wanted him to, but first he wanted to be sure she'd be alright...let the pain subside...

"Mhm... Don't worry Masa, I have a hard head!" Mia didn't realize that could be taken other ways, a reference to her stubborn core, and smiled up at him. He was worrying over nothing, but then he always panicked when she was hurt even a bit or got the tiniest sniffle. If she sneezed to much he panicked...

"I-I'm fine. I really am, you don't have to worry..." She continued to smile, her hands going up to his cheeks and poking them lightly. "Just a bump... I was just dazed when I came out of the clothes hel-I mean pile."

Mia would pout if he didn't help her soon... She really wanted to see him in those outfits... She had worked hard with those thoughts in mind. Even hitting her head or pain would not stop her ever at this point.

"Alright... I won't worry too much." He couldn't just outright say he wouldn't worry, even Mia knew he'd be lying then. Until she felt better he would be a bit concerned, but her reassurances helped him.

Mia would be fine, and that was what mattered.

Leaning in, he moved to kiss her forehead and gave a smile after pulling away...to have his cheeks poked.

Just dazed... A-Alright, he would...keep himself from worrying too much...

"A-Alright..." He gave a small nod against her fingers, he would...get to trying on the clothes when she wanted him to then...first they needed to...find them.
