Rin waved goodbye as Aoi entered the Senkaimon, his smile remaining until the gates closed behind her and disappeared.

He stood there for a few more moments, thinking over everything that'd just happened before breathing out a large sigh. Pocketing his hands, he turned and began walking back to the car so he could head back home.

Perhaps...perhaps next time she came back he could be stronger? Perhaps he could work hard enough to prove that he, at least in his fighting ability, could be somewhat useful.
