Breaking Habit for Happiness

"Then we shall go get them. Here, let me take them to the register." Iyuki closed his eyes with a smile as he unwrapped the scarf that would now be hers and the gloves and arm warmers. Taking the warm clothing items to the counter, he handed them over to be bought. Hopefully Muika followed him, but if she found more things to buy... he wouldn't be too upset.

She gave a nod, her face still tinted as Iyuki removed the scarf from her and took it along with the gloves and arm warmers to the register.

She followed behind him, not feeling any reason to stick back and look around as today she felt more comfortable sticking close to him; not exactly used to big shopping trips like this one and plus...this was...technically a date so...they were supposed to stick close...

Muika was following him like a baby duckling and Iyuki couldn't resist a small smile as he finished paying and led her out. Counting sums in his head, he realized they were still under the budget and thus could be entirely fine skating.

Holding out a bag as they passed a bathroom, Iyuki's small smile was gentle as he looked down. "Muika? Would you get dressed in this? There's somewhere I wish to take you. This outfit should be most appropriate."

They stopped at the bathroom after they'd left the accessory store and she'd been planning to wait since she didn't...need to use the restroom and had assumed Iyuki did but as he pulled out one of the outfits and explained curiosity overcame her.

"Sure, mhmm." Somewhere he wanted to take her?

She took the outfit with a small nod and entered the restroom, moving into the biggest stall so she could change. Her mind flashed back to when they'd been at the accessory store buying the scarves and such...the outfit she was changing into was a warmer one so...?

In the end she couldn't come up with anything, any ideas of what he was planning so she tried to shake it off. Exiting the stall, she held the clothes she'd been wearing in her arms now that she was changed.

"D-Done." Muika called, stepping out to where Iyuki was waiting.

Iyuki grinned slightly as Muika didn't even try to ask now. He waited patiently for Muika to return, ignoring any glances he received. No one seemed to bother him with his arms full of womens clothing, it was obvious he was taken and it was also obvious why he was waiting.

As Muika came back out, changed, he took the bag with the clothes she had been wearing and then shifted it so he could hold her hand. "Come along, I've got a nice surprise for you."

Iyuki smiled softly the whole time he lead her out of the mall, taking her to a nearby Ice Rink to finish out their date...
