Rooftop Lessons

"It's alright, I-If we're going to eat a movie would be easier, I can always play again later!" Riye replied, giving a small smile at Fay's question.

If they watched a movie they wouldn't have to worry about the food getting cold if they were watching a movie. With a game her hands would need to be occupied with the controller.

"Mmk!" She nodded and smiled. If she were in fact a kitty, she'd be purring right now. She perked her head up a little at the bubbling noise coming from the hot plate and got up, heading over to start putting Ramen into the now boiling water.

"You like yours any particular way?" She asked, humming to herself and swishing softly back and forth as she stirred noodles into the pot.

As Fay went to prepare the ramen, Riye went to saving the game so they could put in a movie. She made sure to save in an empty save slot that wasn't being used before turning the game off.

"I'm fine with anything, prepare it how you like." She replied; she wasn't really picky with ramen, so having it however Fay wanted it was fine!

Fay nodded and it wasn't more than a few minutes before she was draining the excess water in the sink, adding in the flavor packets along with a few other odds and ends and stirring it. Once she was content with it, she paused, looking at the bowl and blushing. "Um..H-hold on." She said before running over to the cupboard. She dug around in it for a moment before giving a victorious "A-ha!"

She pulled out two plastic bowls and brought them back to the sink to quickly clean them. She looked at Riye and blushed. "Um.. I... normally eat most stuff straight out of the pot.. So um.. Th-these are my breakfast and snack bowls..." She knew she shouldn't be embarrassed of affection for Riye, but she had no such inclination against her embarrassment at her living conditions.

She poured the ramen into the bowls, making sure not to overfill them so they wouldn't spill and brought one to Riye, before finding them silverware. She sat down on the bed next to her and grinned. "Um... Eat up!"

Riye nodded, watching as Fay as she dug through her cupboards before producing a couple of bowls before she went to washing them to be sure they were clean.

"Ah...that's fine." She wanted to offer to get Fay more bowls, and plates to eat off of, but...would Fay appreciate that or would that hurt her feelings? She...she didn't want to hurt Fay's feelings. It had only been her living here so...there wasn't much of a point to having too many bowls or plates to eat from.

Riye accepted the bowl from Fay when she brought them over, giving a bright smile; "It smells really good!"

She'd need to make sure not to eat too quickly, it was still hot right now and she didn't want to burn her tongue.

Fay giggled a little before immediately scooping some up and taking a bite. "Ah!" She tilted her head back and exhaled a little to cool it off before swallowing what she'd bitten. "Thank you!" She grinned, picking up another cluster and blowing on it a few times. "Now let's see... movies..." She looked up, thinking of movies. "I haven't seen.... the new Godzilla? I think that's out digitally?" But would Riye like that? It might be a little scary...

It both smelled good, and tasted good! Riye had taken her first bite after letting it cool a little, having blown lightly on it before eating it.

"Welcome!" Riye replied after she'd swallowed her bite.

The new Godzilla, she hadn't seen it either; it'd seemed interesting from what she'd read online, but she hadn't really taken the time to go and see movies in general lately.

"We can watch that then, I haven't seen it either."

Fay nodded and went about pulling it up, quickly paying the charge to see the movie. She would turn the lights off if they weren't eating. Maybe once they finished their ramen. She took a few bites and scooted over closer to Riye, wanting to sit up next to her but not wanting to make it hard for her to eat.

"Of course..." She reached a hand up to move a blue lock of hair out of her face and smiled at Riye. "If you get scared during the movie, I'd be willing to hold you." She teased, with a nervous giggle after.

"O-Okay." Riye nodded, she wasn't sure how scary the movie would end up being, but...if she needed comfort...she...Fay was offering. Just thinking that though had her blushing again.

Trying to push back her flustered emotions, she focused on eating more of her ramen.

Fay happily ate away at her ramen, wondering if Riye actually would get scared. She... Well she didn't hope for distress on Riye, but snuggling during the movie would be fun. Why didn't she just come out and say that? Well too late now. She'd just have to wait and see if she did. She turned her attention back to her ramen for the moment before the movie started.

Soon the movie was underway. It didn't take Fay long to finish her Ramen and placed the bowl on the floor. She'd take it to the sink with Riye's when she was done.

As she continued eating, Riye turned her attention to the television to watch the movie; she could...usually handle scary movies, but...it'd be nice to be closer...

When she was done eating then...she'd scoot over then!

It wasn't long after that when she finished her bowl, a pleased smile on her face; that'd been really nice!

Fay smiled and picked up the bowl, taking it to the sink with hers. She flicked the lights off on her way back, the TV providing enough light that they weren't completely in the dark. "You okay with the lights off?" She asked, not wanting to assume.

She sat back down and placed her hands in her lap, glancing at Riye with a small smile. She began tapping her fingers, just.. watching the movie. Definitely didn't want to snuggle or anything.

Once Fay had their bowls, Riye moved to sit more comfortably so that it'd be easier for the both of them in case they were close, curling up just a little bit while Fay went for the lights.

"I'm fine with it, go ahead."

With the lights off, and Fay seated again Riye scooted a bit closer, ignoring the slight burning of her face again as she did so before giving a small,sheepish laugh.

Fay glanced over again, noticing Riye scoot closer to her. W-well... She supposed... if that was alright.... Fay scooted over to meet Riye halfway and put an arm around her shoulder, holding her close. She immediately felt happy and comfortable like this. She glanced over to smile at Riye in the dim glow from the television.

She leaned over and gave Riye a quick kiss on the cheek before nuzzling against her, making a happy little chuckle noise.

Riye attempted to not react too strongly as Fay moved closer and kissed her cheek, though she did laugh a little at the nuzzling; it seemed like they were both comfortable then! That was good, it made her happy.

Now they could watch the movie like this.

Fay continued to watch the movie primarily in silence snuggling with Riye. There were a few tense parts. She dealt pretty well with scary things, but she still tensed up slightly, holding Riye a little closer. During less tense parts, she started absentmindedly rubbing Riye's shoulder and then eventually her back.

The movie seemed good so far. Not enough Godzilla movie but it wasn't too far in. But it looked like the good actor at the start wasn't in the whole movie, which was a shame. Still, it seemed like a pretty solid monster movie so far, with more brains than most films like that.

During a quiet part, she whispered to Riye, not wanting to interrupt the movie too much. "Liking it so far?"

Riye watched the movie with interest, remaining quiet for the most part, not wanting to talk during a movie. During the scarier moments, she tensed some, but overall she didn't have a strong reaction.

Eventually she began to feel Fay rubbing her shoulder before moving on to her back, when she noticed it she gave a small smile, but she didn't want to point it out. It was nice.

"Mhmm." She replied, giving a nod to Fay's question along with a smile.

Fay giggled and resumed watching the movie. As things continued and got kind of foreboding, it looked like some serious monster action was going to occur. She was excited and her back rubbing turned to back scratching, gliding her fingernails up and down Riye's back. Fay couldn't wait to see some serious monster action after so much talking and people stuff.

Of course, when a monster finally did show up on the screen it was rather startling. Fay was by no means scared, but she did jump a little, maybe because she'd been so wound up with anticipation. Her free arm immediately coiled around Fay's stomach, pulling her close while she gasped in surprise.

Riye's attention was on the movie one-hundred percent, it having grabbed her attention as time passed. She felt Fay's back rubs turn into scratching, it felt nice...if she were more kitty-like she knew she'd be leaning into them.

When the monster finally appeared, Riye did tense; it hadn't been too scary but it'd obviously been meant to startle a viewer.

Feeling Fay's arm move around her, her hands went to hold the arm even if there was a moment of fluster there at the action as Fay cuddled close; the movie, she had to focus on the movie!

Feeling the hand go to her arm, she circled her arm around Riye a little tighter, holding her close. "Sorry." She said with a nervous giggle, wondering if Riye had been scared or if she was just responding to Fay's arm. Still, Riye looked really intent on the movie... She didn't want to distract her from it. Even if she did look really pretty in this lighting. Maybe a quick kiss? Nooo, mooviiiee.

She turned her attention to the movie, her arm slowly starting to pull away from Riye. Though her hand lingered as it passed her stomach, before Fay, realizing that was more noticeable than she thought it would be quickly brought both of her hands back to her own lap, keeping them there. It was bad enough she was distracting Riye from the movie she'd suggested herself, she didn't want to be skeevy about it.

"It's fine." Riye replied quietly, returning Fay's nervous giggle with a smile; it felt nice so...there wasn't anything wrong with Fay holding her close or anything.

The movie went on, and eventually Riye felt Fay's arm move from her before they returned to her own lap. Fay seemed...hesitant right now when it came to touching? Was it because of the movie? Trying not to feel flustered, she leaned over against Fay some in hopes to silently reassure her.

Fay was still sitting there awkwardly when Riye leaned against her. She Felt too many feels bubble up inside. Riye was... just too sweet... She wrapped both arms around Riye, holding her close, leaning her head in to nuzzle her for a second. She resumed rubbing Riye's back with one of her hands.

She giggled a little, still watching the movie. "You're cute." She said under her breath.

Riye bit back the squeak in reaction to Fay's comment, though she was unable to stop the blush. Once she probably settled herself in a comfortable position for both of them in Fay's hold she went to work in her head on trying to beat the tint down, but her efforts were futile.

C...Cute...

The movie, she should be watching the movie!

She giggled a little. The hand rubbing Riye's back slid up slowly towards her hair. "SO cute.." She said, resting her chin on Riye's shoulder and looking up at her, rather utterly distracted from the movie for the moment. She reached up to start playing with loose strands of Riye's hair.

Her other hand slid around to Riye's side, holding it for a moment before she glanced away. "Say... Riye? Are you... ticklish?" She asked, very lightly tickling at Riye's side, just to test the waters.

Riye tried to not react strongly, though the occasional muffled squeak came up, the only reason it was unable to escape fully was due to her closed mouth. Cute...

Then Fay asked...that...

"Ahaha...ti-!" Before she could attempt to deny Fay's question, the woman had begun to lightly tickle her sides, which Riye was obviously attempting to not react to though she was failing for the most part.
