With Masaru's response, Mia felt herself gripping the bedding as her face buried in his neck again. Her moans were strong but his neck was muffling them luckily, her hands moving to find his again to hold during this. It felt amazing, Masaru felt amazing and she couldn't stop moving due to that as her fingers twined between his again.

She knew she had to muffle herself or should muffle just in case but she couldn't think why and sped up a bit more as he moaned her name. He had... He had...done that...

Mia's name escaped again as she continued to move on him, his hand gripping her own as she twined their fingers between his. Like... Like that time...

It felt good like this, he wasn't able to muffle himself as the moments passed, not as well as he had been anyway. Mia...moving on him like this...

She sped up her movements, which earned more positive responses from him; too amazing...

Mia heard her name moaned again and pressed against Masaru more as her moans got louder. His name finally escaped her as she lightly pinned him to the bed again, his hand gripping hers so nicely. So were his moans and the whole rest of him as she felt herself getting closer again.

Masaru felt too good, she almost didn't want to stop... He... this was too fun, her moans getting much stronger as his did, his name escaping her more and more often.

Mia...moaning his name like that...she'd done it earlier, but...but it still had the same desired response; it was...really nice hearing it, and her actions occasionally got her name to pass his lips as well as she continued moving.

They had successfully taken away her distractions after the first costume...though if she wanted to continue with him trying them on they'd need a bath first... That...Later..shouldn't be a problem. Right now he didn't want to move at all...just lie here with Mia...

Mia smiled against his neck at the sweet chuckle. Masaru was just as happy as she was with this fun activity... his words just confirmed it and Mia kissed his neck softly before shifting to the side a bit. He probably had been squished enough as this point. Unlike before though, she didn't feel really bothered as much by what she'd done. Just flustered over...her initial actions...and words.

The pair were good at ignoring things like blushes though by this point. A bath in a bit would be nice and then she could continue her Masa show. And show him a few of her costumes as well too. He could pick a dress he liked...

Though...they should be more careful... What if the elders figured out that he wasn't...wasn't so pure anymore... mia mind was filled with thoughts for the moment but she was content to let them just float along, happy and relaxing after that fun.

As Mia moved to his side, Masaru's hand moved to her hair to lightly play with it; the both of them were completely relaxed right now. It was good to just...lie here like this; there wasn't anything to worry about...

He'd finished his work, they'd started with the costumes, now this...

There was a smile on his face after she'd placed a kiss on his neck before, and now that she was to his side he attempted to give small nuzzles to her; like this was nice...

Mia let out a pleased little sigh as Masaru played with her hair, almost nudging his hand for more. It was impossible for her to not want hair pets and she would never stop wanting them. Ever, it seemed.

His nuzzles caused her to laugh softly, trying to return them as he gave her all his attention and affection. It was really wanted right now and she pushed away her not so important thoughts for now. Smiling brightly, she proclaimed. "I love you!"

He was so sweet! Mia snuggled against him, accepting that it could be brought up in a bit.

"I love you too, Mia." Masaru gave a chuckle of his own as Mia said that and attempted to nuzzle him in return, able to hear the happiness in her proclamation as she said it.

He was perfectly content to lie here, snuggled up with her for awhile; they could lay here, get a bath in a bit... Right now he was too content to do anything that involved getting up.

Masaru continued to shower Mia with affection, continuing with his nuzzling and occasionally giving a small kiss to her head.

His response, not unexpected, still set her heart to throbbing whenever she heard it. Masaru loved her and Mia squeezed his hand that she still had a hold of in response.

Mia giggled more, not able to stop now that Masaru was showering her with kisses and more. She turned her head away, trying to avoid them due to how giggly and happy it made her. Her heart couldn't take this! He was being too cute! "Ahahah! Masa nooo!"

She obviously did not want him to stop, but was protesting on principle.

Feeling a squeeze of his hand, Masaru squeezed hers in return, giving another smile for her against her head.

Mia was happy, giggling as he continued to show affection towards her; at her laughter and protest, though a non serious one, he turned more towards her to wrap her up in his arms. He was sure to hold her close, and continue as he had been doing.

She had turned her head away, so he needed to hold her to him, keep her close and continue with the nuzzling, as well as the kisses...

"Nooo!" Mia laughed as Masaru's arms moved to wrap around her and hold her to him, with no chance to escape now! Not that she had ever entertained the thought. She laughed and giggled, moving lightly in his arms as her own went to wrap around his neck. Her hands went immediately into his hair and she pretended to want to get away from his kisses and nuzzles

"Bad Masa, what if someone walks in and sees us like this? Noooo!" More protests sounded as she smiled and laughed, turning her head this way and that in attempts to stop the love.

"No one will come back here, no worries." Masaru replied, sounding sure of that; "And no one especially would just barge in to see us. The servants know to leave us be, and the elder's rarely come to my chambers to call for me...they send a notice to one of the servants to fetch me."

They didn't have to worry about anyone coming back here...this room was far back within the mansion and well enough away from where anyone would venture.

The room was meant to give privacy to the head...

That meant he was free to show Mia as much affection as possible, which he continued to do.

Mia laughed and giggled more and more as Masaru continued his adoring and loving actions. Kisses and nuzzles?! They couldn't distract her though from those words though, not at all. It was safe to be loud or affectionate here and such but... But she still worried.

She still felt like she was some sort of temptress at times. He had broken one of the major rules because of her... If he hadn't been with her, if she hadn't said those things... He'd still be following his family's rules, the ever important ones that he had...had followed so strongly for the most part.

And plus if...well there were definitely signs. Some of the people who worked and lived here HAD to know about their relationship. She did sleep in his room and bed...

It was kind of silly for no one to assume (rightfully) that they were doing things.

Mia, unaware she was voicing her thought, spoke as Masaru nuzzled her and made her laugh. "Sh-Should just make me your...official concubine or something..."

That way he wouldn't have to worry so much... It wasn't like there weren't already rampant rumors. He could try to stop them but... but it was impossible for someone to tell others to stop talking. Impossible, not even Masaru had such powers.

Mia's laughs were pleasant to his ears, Masaru was happy to make her feel this way. She was laughing so happily, and enjoying this time with him as well. It made him really happy.

He continued with his bouts of affection, though...her words caused him to stop dead.

M-M...Make her...her his...w-what!?

"E...Eh...Eh!?" His expression was clearly one of disbelief. H..How... Why would he ever...!? Th...That wasn't his intention at all!

M...Make her his...c-c... He couldn't even think the word! Of all...of all things Mia could have said in this moment she'd chosen to...to say something like that!? O-Of all things...

...Outloud... She'd said it outloud... Mia's face was flushed and filled with a shocked look herself, one of worry as she squeaked. Words weren't coming out! None to allow her to explain.

Masaru's shocked expression was a mirror of her own and he seemed just as flummoxed, but hers had merely been one that was...was following a train of thought! A specific one! She needed to explain... Why was this so hard...

Finally though she forced them out, the words explaining... Even if it was scattered and potentially hard to understand. "Y-Your rules! Y-You are breaking them... so much... O-On purpose now! I-I...feel guilt. I feel so guilty... It...It is causing... ripples..."

Waves. There were things...things cropping up that her being here was causing. Those loyal to Masaru and who adored him wouldn't say a damned thing but not everyone was his fan... "Its...You followed them...until me... You would have followed them... without me... Why...why me... Of all... you didn't feel those things before me did you?"

That last part she hadn't been wanting to say but it spilled out along with her halted explanation of how she had gotten to the concubine thing.

H...Huh...?

Masaru quieted as Mia spoke, struggling to get words out from time to time as she explained her worries to him. Her guilt...

She'd felt...like that all this time...

"Mia..." Masaru began to say before giving a breath; this... This needing talking about, definitely.

She was...feeling like this...and he hadn't noticed...

His breaking the rules...on purpose now, yes... She felt guilt, extreme guilt and it was causing...

Masaru moved to sit up, needing to be serious about this; "I love you, that's why... I...suppose it wasn't obvious...and I apologize greatly for not noticing how this has all been...hurting you.

I couldn't bring this up...before you moved in, or I feared it may...unnerve you, but...you...do realize my intentions are marriage, right? To you? I don't...want you as a concubine, not a mistress...nothing like that... I-I would...like you to be my wife sometime...in the future..."

Saying something like this...before she'd moved in could have freaked her out, but...

"I had...originally believed I would follow at least...some of my clan's rules to the T...but...but by believing that I was...likely contradicting myself. I had already opposed their idea...of making arrangements for me, I didn't want...anything like that...

I wanted to go about my life, fall in love normally...not be forced into relationship...and then marry the person I love.

That...already is breaking a rather heavy rule...but... I didn't care, perhaps I'm not...really cut out for nobility, but I was born into...it's not something I can change...

I do not regret...any of the rules I have broken. It makes me really...really happy to be with you. Honestly...while I had my beliefs...on wanting to fall in love normally...due to my nature it wasn't something I truly expected would happen.

Despite that, I still opposed the clan's ways. I...didn't care... If the...true bloodline of the Shirakawa died with me then so be it...I wasn't going to allow them to force me into something like that...I would have fought until the end...

I... As I met you, spent more time with you...developed feelings for you, and we eventually...started this relationship... It...It never felt like a 'trial' to me...even though we agreed that...it was something we would try... I took it seriously, despite my fear of messing up...

I grew to love you, and I...love you very much...as time passed, and continued to do so...I had...decided I wanted to be with you...if...if you...did as well, of course... Your choice is...obviously crucial in that..."

Perhaps he was rambling, but...but this was all important...

"I...should have paid more attention... Shouldn't have let myself become blind... There's...likely backlash against you...isn't there? I...apologize greatly...

If...there's anyone...tell me. I'll stop them from treating you in such a way... I'll protect you from that..."

Masaru sat up, while Mia laid there for a few moments in shock as he began speaking rather...rather a lot for him. He...

He felt that way... Mia popped up herself as her face turned red, deeply red while she stared in shock at his words. There... She had to wait until he was done but there was so much to respond to!

First though... Shaking her head strongly, Mia couldn't let this...stand with him thinking it was bothering her because of what he thought it was. "I...Its not hurting me! Its...it is but... It's hurting me because they are saying things about you! I don't care if I am your mistress or concubine... I don't care as long as I am with you I am fine with... With whatever I can have! Its you I am worried about."

"I can stand my...my title... but people saying anything about you... Making all your hard work of being reliable over the years... Throwing any mud on that...that amazing and utterly true reputation you have makes me really really angry!" That... she hadn't been bothered by her... her title... but... Him. Masaru's hard work and efforts to be a reliable and amazing worker, he did his best to make sure that's what was seen! It wasn't fair to besmirch his name over this stupid... stupid rule. By insulting her they were insulting his choices and she didn't doubt people had said and would say things that would set her temper off about Masaru...

But...now she lost her nerve. Mia flushed and stared at her hands, all those emotions still roiling through her. Marriage. Love... such love... Didn't care if the bloodline ended with him... but love he had wanted... She... had been told some of this before, figured out parts herself...

"I-I am...right now...sorta by definition...your concubine though..." Mia pointed out, not at all helpfully... But she leaned forward, taking Masaru's hands. Her eyes stared at them as she shook softly. "I-It helps...hearing that. I-I know you want that. I-Its obvious... but...I feel so much better hearing that. It...it hurts me thinking of you breaking rules you wanted to follow because of me."

Knowing he... he hadn't wanted to follow them truly, that she hadn't really forced him into this helped ease her heart and her voice became softer. "I just felt like it was for my sake... That its not something you truly want. Y-You, from the moment I met you I admired and respected you. You are amazing, so amazing and so kind. Someone others can put their trust in and never have it betrayed... I-I never either felt like it was a trial, more like...like a dream."

"I-I'm happy I am the one who let you have the love you wanted... That... I can help you do what you really want to. I love you so much... So very much, I... Don't think my crush was ever something that was friendship related..." Mia felt a bit better admitting that, but she looked up finally and smiled, even if she was teary eyed. "As long as you can be happy... If you had found someone else... I... Would have protected that happiness just as much... A-And... I don't think you could have messed it up...you can't mess it up. I want to be with you... I wanted to be with you no matter what I was to you..."

She was rambling...

"E-Even if you think you aren't cut out for nobility... I think...this place, your position...you do so much more good than you realize! Masaru, you are a wonderful person! You don't have to protect me, I am fine... I should be protecting you more though... I'll be stronger... so I can be... So I can be by your side... as your wife one day. O-One you'll never have to worry over..." Mia's eyes were determined, even as she felt a few tears spilling down her cheeks.

"Even if I don't understand why...why me... why... do you love me that much... I can...can accept..."

Mia...couldn't stand others throwing mud on his reputation...and whatever they said about her... It...sounded like Mia...just like Mia. It was hurting her because it was harmful towards him...

"I...want what makes me happy, the clan's reputation is important...very much so, but..." He couldn't throw away his own happiness for his clan's sake. Not...Not now especially, especially now that he actually knew how that happiness felt. He...was rather selfish, wasn't he?

Her title...

"What angers me...are those talking about you, obviously people have been...careful to keep such words from reaching my ears, knowing though...now..."

That... That did anger him. Mia deserved none of that... She was a kind, respectable, loving woman...

Just thinking about...it angered him, and while those thoughts crossed his mind his expression showed it.

He wasn't...sure what there was to do about all of this...not currently anyway... People would always talk...unfortunately. What though...

B-By definition...

"W-Well...I'd...rather not...refer to you as such...b-by such a term..." He... E-Even if...she wasn't wrong...

Masaru allowed Mia to take his hand, his eyes moving to her as she stared at them.

She felt better...at least...after hearing him say that. It had...relieved her; he was able to do that at least... He didn't want her to worry about such things, he wanted this...had wanted this...

She hadn't forced him to detach himself from his clan's ways...

Her comments towards him, as she spoke of how she felt upon first meeting him and so on...it left him quiet again, though if he were able to right now...fluster would certainly be something he'd feel.

L-Like a dream...

"You didn't force me to do anything...I swear it, Mia." He repeated his earlier words, hoping to reassure her further.

S...S-She would...then... Masaru quieted again as she continued speaking; she wanted to be with him...a-and one day...

"I-I...will...also keep more of an ear out; I won't let others talk about you like that... I won't stand for it." He replied; his voice became soft, wanting to again reassure her. "We can...We can protect each other then?"

Saying that, he leaned in some to settle his head against hers, nuzzling once before placing a kiss on her head.

She didn't understand...why her...

Hearing her say that, he nudged her with his head again; "Y-You're amazing to me... It makes me happy to be by your side...and have you by my side. I love you, Mia..."

Could he even begin to describe...all the reasons why? Could he even list everything...? Maybe if they dedicated an entire day to this, perhaps?

"Then... I'll do my best for both. Both your clan's reputation and you. I-If I work hard at it and do my best to show I am... am nothing for them to be ashamed of then it should be easier on both." Mia...would just have to prove herself to everyone ever. That should be easy enough!

Her heart did weird little flip flops at the anger she noticed on Masaru's face. Had she ever... ever seen him angry before this exact moment? Never... Never ever... "No... Don't be angry Masa. I don't care what they say at all, I have you to make me happy. Its all I want."

He didn't need to be angry and she squeezed his hand, giving him her adoring smile. As long as she would be allowed to be by his side there was nothing else she could ask for. She did laugh and blush though at Masaru's skirting of the word though. "Hehe, its okay to say it! My mom would be so proud of me. Mistress to a Great Noble Lord."

She was attempting to distract him a bit away from that anger, knowing it just hurt him to be that way. Mia's smile only grew as he spoke, knowing now that she hadn't been the cause...

More that it hadn't been anything he hadn't already wanted...

"Okay... Thank you..." Her body's tenseness relaxed more and more at that and she nodded softly in acceptance at his reassurance. The tears had faded just a bit and disappeared utterly as he leaned down and nuzzled her head. Those words hadn't hurt either, he wouldn't let anyone say anything to him. "We can protect each other then... If you insist."

K-Kissing again!? Her eyes wide, the woman laughed as Masaru planted a soft kiss on her head. No! No cute... it wasn't allowed... She did nudge him lightly in return before speaking at least.

"I-I don't feel amazing..." Mia murmured, softly but her smile didn't fade one inch. Her head nudged his back, her eyes finding his and staring up as she did speak in a much less pouting tone though. "I love you too Masaru."

"That... You...You are...wanting to learn all of that, correct?" They had...covered this before...but he wanted reassurance on this. All of those teachings she was learning about... "I...I was nervous at first...when you began, I was.. I didn't want you...to attempt to change who you were...just to fit into the clan's standards...

You...enjoy it though, so I'm happy... I want...you to be yourself. Do what...you would like to do and such..."

Again...he just wanted to hear from her that she wanted to do all of those things...

Don't...be angry... It was...difficult to not become so when...when it pertained to that. He hated the thought of others...referring to Mia negatively just...just because of their relationship...

O-Okay to say it though!?

"I-I...I would r-rather not... I-I would rather...like to think of you as...as my f-future wife...n-not...a-a m-m...mistress..."

Mia seemed to relax some, and a relieved breath escaped him; "Welcome..."

They could protect each other, she could...protect him as she had been, like she wanted...and he would be sure to protect her as well. He would be sure of it...

Her laughter earned a smile; he was...happy to hear her laughter despite the seriousness of their discussion. He was all to happy to give affection as well.

"You are amazing though." His responses was simple, but to the point; he was stating it as if it were an obvious fact.

"It is fun... and interesting... I-I bet there are not so fun things though, and I am sure it'll get harder... But I don't want to give up. I won't give it up even if it gets harder!" Mia was determined, determined to see this through and she tried to reassure Masaru with her words. "I want to try, learning things never hurt anyone... O-Or well they have but I'm not trying to change myself to fit their standards... I am trying to learn more so I don't hurt you with my ignorance.

I-Its okay to not know things, but I am joining...you want me to join your world. It'll be easier if I know more, so I can chose how to act instead of just... Just being ignorant and ignoring things that are important in your world. I don't think this could change who I am just with silly lessons like that! You don't need to worry Masa..."

Mia's bullheadedness was showing through in her words, her stubborn nature and yet also her willingness to always learn new things and throw herself into new experiences with that. If...anything could change her when she didn't want to change... Or if she wanted to change just to suit them... It was obvious she at least wanted to try learning.

"...You can think of it like that. But right now... I-I'm your consort." Mia...was amused. She was really amused as Masaru's inability to say concubine or mistress... It was true, this was what she was to him right now. They...were not officially engaged or anything... She kinda liked Masaru's Consort as her title though... Kinda romantic...

Mia murmured that softly without noticing or thinking and continued on now that they were on happier thoughts. She nudged his head more, attempting more nuzzles as her hands let his go to settle against his shoulders. Least Masaru was smiling now...

No more angry!

Her face flushed as he called her amazing and she promptly turned her head in fluster. That wasn't allowed to be said as if it was an immutable fact of the universe! "I-I am really not! I am not...not that amazing Masa. You are being silly again..."

He had no proof! He had no proof...
