Mistakes and Memories

"B-But..!" She started, turning the red in the face as she knew she'd have to explain to him why they needed to head home first. "I need...I need....my swimsuit though..."

Even while she was panicking though, her muscles automatically wanted to relax due to the massages, still though...she needed to explain this...

"Oh? Did you want to go swimming before the bath? I didn't know you knew of anywhere nearby. However I am afraid we'd be too late to. We could go tomorrow, you have a good point since swimming is best done before a shower for getting chlorine off." As Iyuki rubbed away the tenseness in her head, his hands moved lower towards the back more. He really wasn't paying too much attention to them, they were used to such things. They knew how to move without him trying.

Making plans for tomorrow would be more important.

"Eh uhm....I need it to bathe in not swim." She didn't even know how to swim first off... "I-I mean...that's what I use it for anyway."

As the massages continued, even while she tried to give her rather poorly spoken explanation, her fists that were resting in her lap clenched and relaxed in response; not able to really grip onto anything such as her hoodie.

"Muika, you can't get clean with a bathing suit on. Its also bad for the suit." Iyuki frowned, who had taught her how to use bathhouses? You didn't wear anything into them. He was japanese, so while in hot springs or bathhouses he knew what to do. Only foreigners did such...silly things.

"Even I bathe naked in bathhouses." Iyuki muttered than, not too low for Muika to hear.

Her fists clenched then, considering how close he had to be to do these massages did he honestly not expect her to hear that? Completely red in the face, various mental scoldings included, she almost wanted to respond that she knew that's what normal people did and that he didn't have to say such a thing but...again she mentally scolded herself.

"W-What if someone comes in? That's why I w-wear it...I mean, the owner wouldn't let that happen she knows I need to be alone b-b-but still...! I-It's something I need....in a just...just in case scenario....yeah..."

"But, you can't get clean with one on. It defeats the purpose. Besides, its doubtful anyone who does come into the bathroom hasn't seen such things. They would ignore you. I mean men don't go into the women's side no matter what!" Iyuki was flustered. How...could she bathe with a swimsuit on?!

"If a man walked in, yelling generally gets them out. I would never walk into the women's side unless I was called to help! That would be..." Iyuki had images of him running into the women's bath and his face flushed. It'd be the right thing to do, run in to help when there was screaming... He'd have to make sure to grab a towel along the way. Though what if they thought he was a pervert there to snatch looks?! So towel yes, eyes covered check... Hm. His entrance would bother any perverts and they may run if he did, not wanting to be caught. They would probably ignore his skinny frame and focus on the fact that someone had seen them. Yes. It could be done without causing an issue!

Was there really no way he would yield on this? Even if it was just women in the women's room...she still felt uncomfortable without it. "It...It's not like it's a full-body or one-piece swimsuit, I know wearing one like that wouldn't accomplish anything."

So instead she had a two-piece, skin-revealing and such so she could wash and so far it'd gotten the job done. It wasn't like she'd use it for swimming, the bathhouse was it's only use.

"I-It's not like I use it for anything else anyway."

She wore a TWO PIECE?! He had never thought of what kind of...things like that she would pick, but he had never imagined she would be brave enough for a two piece swim suit. Iyuki flushed more as his brain tried to be helpful and supply images, though they were quickly stuffed into the NOTHING parts. He thought nothing, he saw nothing.

It took a few seconds, but in those few seconds it could be taken badly. "Oh... I see. Then you should continue to wear it. Yes. Go right ahead. It may draw attention to you but really if you feel comfortable wear it. Please."

"S-So we can...stop by home quick enough to get it then?" She asked, a bit timidly, still embarrassed she'd had to explain...though if he were going with her he'd find out eventually. "I...I do feel better about b-bathing if I have it."

"That would... add another hour at the least..." Iyuki flinched at the thought of all that walking, his voice sounding small. He would be dead by the time they reached the bathhouse and would almost need to be carried back. However admitting such weakness to himself... and even harder to Muika.

"Y-Yes. That should be fine." She really seemed to want it though...

"T-Thanks..."

She hated to trouble him like she knew she was, knowing about the extra walking doing so would entail, but it was something she needed...perhaps she could make the extra trip up to him somehow if she could figure out a way to...She knew he'd deny her trying to spend her money on him, considering she didn't have as much, and she wasn't the best at helping with chores and even though she wanted to help with that regardless of making anything up to him or not he'd likely be hard to convince to let her...

Muika was wracking her brain for ideas, and what she already had planned on doing later on while they were still here at the park wouldn't count, so then what?

"You are welcome. A-Anything for my Lady." Iyuki nodded, undoing all the braids he had made as he finished the head rub. Her hair was drying out nicely in the heat, it was almost fully dry by now. His clothes were quite dry now, though his sweater still looked like a soggy mess from this angle.

He'd better not get heat rash or else walking back would be like walking through the twelve layers of of the afterlives. Forcing any remaining images he hadn't already banished, Iyuki coughed softly and nodded though she couldn't see. "Here, give me your hair tie and I will sort this out into your usual style. It does look lovely down though, I have to say."

Just like she had when he'd complimented her eyes a small noise of surprise escaped her before she embarrassingly tried to deny his words.

"D-Does not...." She sputtered, handing off the old hair tie over her shoulder to him.

"Oh? And you are the expert on looks for hair yes?" Iyuki teased a bit, taking the hair tie and gently twisting her hair so it would stay while he tied it. He could tell this would be hard to do if you couldn't see and hold it.

He was so focused on his task, he didn't really focus on what he was saying. Words flowed, truthful, from his lips. "Its rough, but a rather cute styling. It really suits you Muika, though with a stretchy hair tie you needn't rely on me. I know you like doing things yourself, so if I can figure out an easier way for you... Hm."

Again, just like with the eyes, he went off with another string of compliments on why he felt he was right...which certainly didn't help with trying to get any red in her face to leave.

"I-It's not e-even a p-proper cut, i-it was just hacked like that. I-I-I almost cut the longer piece off bu-but that's how long it used to be so-so I kept it...a-and e-even with a b-b-better tie I-I don't mind you touching my hair. L-Like I said I don't re-really take care of it like I-I should..."

"If you want to let it grow out, we could get it styled if it bothers you that much, when we have free money not wrapped up in other things." Like clothing for Muika and a few more cabin purchases. He frowned as he finished tying the hair up, letting it drop back again.

Still, it was Muika... She could take it wrong. Moving to a seat, he sat down and leaned forward on his hands. "But I do rather like it. You don't need styled hair to look pretty."

He blinked once. Twice. Three times as red slowly came up from his neck to cover his whole face. His hands then dropped said head, and it hit with a loud thunk as his brain stopped and he muttered worriedly to himself. "What WAS that why did you say something like that Iyuki you stupid nerd dork man what the hell were you THINKING?!"

W-Was he doing this on purpose!?

Judging by his own embarrassed reaction, that she'd hardly even caught being completely red in the face herself, he hand't intended on saying that...or at least that's what she assumed in her jumbled mind right now...and she didn't even have her hoodie right now to help hide her face...

She mentally cursed again. His silly compliments weren't getting under her skin! Absolutely not! She denied it even if a small, small, voice in the back of her head told her if they weren't she wouldn't be getting so embarrassingly flustered. Her little freak out in the bathroom earlier certainly didn't add to her argument either.

Muika glanced off, looking off to the side of her Iyuki wasn't sitting on. "I-I-I don't ne-need it styled...."

"A-As you wish... m-my lady..." Iyuki couldn't even summon his butler shield this time. He started sliding off the table as his body went limp with utter embarrassment.

"You should leave me to die here alone in this park. I am sure someone will take the body back to my family. You would not have to shoulder funeral costs."

As she heard the sound of what ended up being Iyuki sliding off the bench Muika stood on reflex, still flustered from before but at Iyuki's overreaction it had her speaking a bit faster than usual.

"I-Iyuki y-y-you shouldn't just l-lie on the ground like th-that!" She sputtered, moving to take his arm after a moment of hesitance and attempting to pull him up. She wasn't built to lift his weight though, as she was smaller and weighed much less than him probably, so her attempts at successfully pulling him up ended in failure on that end.

"P-People will start lo-looking if you s-stay like this!" She added, trying to motivate him to sit up as she abandoned pulling him by the arm to squat down to try to push him up by the shoulder.

"This is my final resting place, its a better one than I could expect. A happy amusement park... People's families and joy." The voice was solemn, as if he could expect no less from the world than this asphalt floor. His whole body was limp, he cared not about anything but the sweet release of death from his eternal agonizing torment of mortal life.

Still, the idea of drawing attention to himself and thus Muika was a motivating force. Slowly he lifted himself up, his hair shading his face as he moved with Muika's push. It was then he felt... OH NO NOT AGAIN.

Iyuki threw himself back, falling onto his back and trying to scramble away. No! Not again!

After his dramatic addition to his original overreaction he seemed to gain at least some motivation at the thought of catching attention, but the moment he moved up he was lightning fast in trying to scramble away on his back in an embarrassed mess.

"S-Sorry, I-I c-couldn't get you up by y-your arm s-so..!" She knew she'd been close, probably too close but she'd needed to get him up! He couldn't of just stayed there!

It was hell. This whole trip was hell. It was a special prison meant to destroy him. "They were small...but still soft. How?"

Iyuki's eyes widened as the first thought popped up into his head and then came out of his mouth. He covered his mouth with his hand, wishing with all his might to just be smited by any god. Any being. Something to just get him away from this place and Muika's reaction.

A startled squeak-like noise escaped her at Iyuki's blurted out response just as he'd said it and in turn shuffled back into his shell of eternal embarrassment again.

It took a few sputters, and her reflexively crossing her arms over herself, before she could form a response that, in all honestly, wasn't even thought of beforehand so much like Iyuki had she squeakily blurted out her own response, "T-T-Th-They're not th-that small!"

"They can't be more than B! It isn't flatchested by far, but it is still on the smaller end. Aren't they supposed to be more firm!?" Iyuki was confused, and just spoke on in response to Muika's words. He ruffled his hair, truly curious and wondering. All embarrassment would wait.

"W-W-W-Well they're n-not b-but t-t-they're at least on the bi-bigger end of th-th-the B-Scale!"

Had someone from the future had told her such a conversation of blurted comments would happened she would have never believed them for a single second. Considering her usual self-consciousness she was still quick to defend herself to Iyuki, for reasons unknown to her even if her responses were blurted responses rather than thought out ones.

She honestly didn't even know her exact size, all she knew was B-scale, in all honesty she couldn't be completely sure her current bras were even the right size. When she'd first had to get them she'd been way too embarrassed to ask for help so she'd just gone with what fit.
