Mistakes and Memories

"I didn't know there were scales of like sizes! What other kinds of secrets are there in the world? Next you'll tell me they don't measure woman's pants by the inseam and waist size?!" Iyuki was shocked. He had, rather stupidly, thought one cup was one cup. It hadn't occurred to him that there was probably other measures and that one size in that wouldn't fit all.

He knew what would look good, but the...deeper implications of what clothing sizes would do. How could he help her shop now with such little knowledge? Also...so her boobs were that small? Iyuki glanced down and then glanced back up quickly.

The young man didn't mean it but... Both were too entrenched in their argument to really pay attention to the words spilling from their mouths. "I did guess right though!"

"Th-There are! While I d-don't know the exact m-measurement I-I know the-they're on the bigger end be-because the s-smaller one's were t-tight!" She wasn't exactly sure she knew proper pants sizes either, so it wasn't anything she could argue about, she only had her skirt and leggings...and her swimsuit if that counted. The only things she'd bought rather than found or got out of charity were her bras, underwear, and bathing suit and those alone had ended up killing her funding when she'd first gotten here. "S-St-Still, they're a l-larger B! Th-th-The larger p-p-part counts!"

"Well if you wanted to know we could get string and measure you know! Its not that hard! And then... I think we could look up guides online!" Iyuki was wondering what they did to figure it out now, did thye just try on sizes and hope for the best? How many subsizes WERE there?!

"That makes NO SENSE. A large small is still small!" Iyuki's voice cracked as he ran his hands through his hair in frustration. Muika was being ridiculous! "I mean its not like its important, they were soft and so... I mean..."

With that all the wind blew out of his sails and he turned beat red. They...had just yelled at each other... over her breasts in public. Oh no.

As it suddenly dawned on Iyuki it suddenly dawned on Muika on what exactly they were arguing about...

Had she...Had she really just!? Her already hot face felt that much hotter as her blurted arguments repeated themselves in her head. She...She had literally argued over her own breast size! She...How had he manged to get her to argue about that!? Why had she even argued back in the first place!?

If her own words hadn't embarrassed her enough Iyuki's certainly weren't helping. While he was still thoroughly confused on women's sizing he'd still ended up saying something as blunt as that they were soft! Just...

If she weren't so concerned about drawing attention to herself she'd curl up there and become a statue and never move again but they were in the middle of an amusement park that, while not crowded, still had a number of people!

They needed a distraction. They needed a distraction from this topic for the sake of both their mental states.

"L-L-Let's go to a g-g-game or r-r-r-ride or something!" Quickly, Muika stood, though not having properly prepared to just shoot up like she did she easily stumbled in her stepping.

Iyuki was about to internally combust. The heat rising from his body at his utter failure to truly say anything worthwhile in the past few minutes. His face was reaching critical heat mass and he was about to freak out about Muika's words himself when she offered a nice suggestion for their problem. He stuffed all his thoughts away (soft kept ringing in his ear), and stood just in time to see Muika trip and go down.

Moving forward quickly, he caught her with his chest and arms. A small 'Ommph!" left his lips as his arms wrapped around her gently, holding her up. He could feel her chest pressed against him (softsoftsoft) as he stayed his deep red. Still, he had to make sure...

Looking down, holding her close he spoke just loud enough to hear. "Are you okay Muika? Are you having a dizzy spell?"

Out of reflex she grabbed onto the fabric of his clothing as he caught her, her little trip adding to her embarrassment after having steadied herself. "M...Mhmm...I f-fine. I just...stood up to fast and tried wa-walking at the wrong time...it was dumb, s-sorry."

She'd almost fallen on her face, almost making an even bigger fool out of herself than she already had just because she'd been in a rush to help find a distraction from being embarrassed. She hadn't even been able to do something as simple as standing successfully...she was pathetic, stupid, dumb, stupid...

"It wasn't smart, but I do not think it would be called dumb. Just rather silly." Iyuki smiled softly, moving one hand to brush some hair from her face... Before retracting his hand and covering the lower half of his face.

What was he DOING!? He should stop, touching her. But she was clinging to him! Plan B then, stand here looking like a doofus and trying to speak but failing? No, he needed more plans and steps. "We can go on whatever ride you wish first, Muika. T-Then it should be all better and we can forget this...little incident? Yes."

She just wanted to curl up and die, the embarrassment was strong, even with Iyuki's response. His action had surprised her more so, which he quickly became embarrassed about; offering the distraction of rides or something else.

Letting, her hands returned to their place in front of her as her fingers went to toy with her clothing's fabric out of habit. The hoodie would be mostly dry by now right? She could put that on and just hide in it forever...yeah...that could work...

"Y-Yeah...though...I don't really know...what do y-you think would be best next?" She asked, unable to make direct eye contact as her eyes remained firmly planted on her feet.

Iyuki wished for his sweater vest. It gave him strength and courage to be his butler self, a shield against the world. If he had known how his thoughts mirrored Muika's, he may have been a bit relieved about it. He looked off into the distance, his hand moving to scratching his cheek lightly as he thought.

"Well... if we go on a few more rides, we could then try for prizes in the games. Then, there would be less rides we had to worry about carrying anything on if we win. So... we'll go on some large ones and save the games for after." Iyuki was good at coming up with plans and carrying through and he nodded as he turned to the seat. His socks were damp, but dry enough to put back on. He sat and quickly started that, while eying his vest. It still needed a bit of time. He was not in fact looking anywhere but Muika. No indeed.

"S-Sounds good." Muika said as she approached her hoodie, it was damp but it wasn't terribly wet. The sleeves would probably still feel weird, so after a brief internal battle with herself she ended up tying it around her waist again. It would dry fully with a little more time, she hoped that time to fly by though, so she could just put it back on without it feeling weird.

The rides would be a distraction, then the games, if they were shooting games she felt she'd do good in them...that could be a good distraction, doing good in shooting games, winning shooting games, showing how good her aim was to Iy-

'Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!' She mentally yelled, her eyes clamping shut as she kept banishing thought after stupid thought from her stupid head.

"S-So what ride should be first?"

It was a good idea! Yeees. Waiting for Muika to grab her things, Iyuki stood up and stretched. Then he unrolled his sleeves, allowing them a better chance to dry. They were horribly wrinkled and he got them arms buttoned up at the wrist at least decently well.

Once he was all set, his vest swung over his shoulder, he hmmed to himself and Muika as he looked around. Seeing a good one nearby, he pointed at the steel contraption. It was tall and a car was slowly going up the hill. "How about that one? Its one of my favorites Muika. Its really smooth and the loops are fun."

There were a few others in this direction, so Iyuki started leading her towards the ride he pointed at. They could pick another if she didn't like the one he had.

She glanced over to where he'd pointed, noticing the taller ride, it had been one of the more intimidating ones but people seemed to be having fun on it, so it couldn't be all that dangerous...

That's what she told herself anyway.

Plus Iyuki had just said it was one of his favorites, so of course he wanted to ride it.

"'Kay." She responded as she followed Iyuki towards it.

He'd said it ran smoothly, the loops were questionable, but all in all it couldn't be that bad. If it were dangerous a ride like that would have been shut down ages ago so it would be fine. Everything would be fine.

Muika was following quietly. She had said nothing after that affirmative response. Had he...done something wrong? Iyuki wasn't dwelling on the things they had bother said in frustration at each other. He sure wasn't replaying any instance of her pressing against him. He also was't blushing and wishing just... to hold her hand or something.

Honestly, what was wrong with him? His heart shouldn't be beating any faster, he shouldn't try to look at her. As a butler, this was dishonest and dishonorable. They were walking past other rides and Iyuki decided to talk to break the awkward silence. "Well, I prefer the larger one since it ride smoother. The wooden coasters jolt you around and can be annoying, even if they are fun. Also, its height allows for a better ride, even if the drop is rather scary at first. Don't worry though! Its bracing once you get through it... But if you would rather try something shorter first?"

He waved at a few entrances to shorter rides, a steel and a wooden one as they walked by.

"N-No! W-we can ride this one." She mentally scolded herself, had she looked hesitant or something about it? She may have been thinking about it looking intimidating but she was more just reassuring herself rather than succumbing to the belief it was dangerous or intimidating.

As they continued towards it she realized now how quiet she was being. She was only speaking when spoken to just because she was still partially flustered, maybe a little more than partially, and she was still trying to reassure herself about the ride.

Without really thinking, almost as if it was on reflex her hand went out to lightly grasp the fabric at the end of Iyuki's sleeve.

Muika's response brought a bright smile to his lips, and Iyuki turned to glance at her and see how she was holding up as they walked up to the entrance. As her hand grabbed his sleeve though, his face heated up and he tried not to turn back and look. If she knew...she might let go. Wait he wanted her to! No...

The line wasn't back this far, they would have to walk a ways up to get the ride itself. All of the bigger coasters had such long queues. "We'll go up here, it will be a bit longer than the other rides, the walking up. See all these empty ones? When its full on really sunny days when there are no school, or when the ride is new, these will all fill up and its hours wait for rides."

He lead her up the line, to the end of the group of people waiting. There were other couples up there... well other pairings. Like him they could be...just being nice. It wasn't like it was a date. Iyuki pointed with the arm not being stolen by Muika and showed her the ride as it went past. "And that is what we'll be riding."

As they approached the queue Muika hardly noticed the other people, pairings, groups, whatever they were as she kept her eyes on the ride that looked a lot bigger than it had originally from back at the tables...though it was obvious it would be.

She'd convinced herself and given herself reassurances the entire walk here. If so many people rode it it was perfectly fine to ride. Sometimes people even went back to ride it again, so it couldn't be as bad as she'd originally thought. Unintentionally the small, timid grip she had on Iyuki's sleeve tightened slightly.

"It's tall." She commented, another obvious statement much like she'd done with the previous rides.

Iyuki had been listening to the people around them, enjoying the company of others from a distance as they waited. He had even started humming when he was cut off by a tightening of the arm of his shirt, and Muika's words.

His face grew concerned as he looked down, bending slightly so he could look at her eyes. "Muika? Is it bad? We can try something else, I promise it would be okay. If you are scared it really is okay to not ride it."

"I-I'm fine." Muika answered, her voice coming out a slightly higher pitch than usual when he suddenly bent over slightly to look at her face. "I-I said we would ride this one and I meant it."

She'd faced worse, this was a park ride, nothing as bad as things she'd faced in the past. Plus she'd had to fight those white faced monsters or whatever they were that attacked her from time to time. They weren't as big but they were definitely more harmful than something like this.

"Okay..." Iyuki wasn't entirely certain she was speaking the truth, but... it was Muika's day. If she wished to face the ride and not be scared. He remembered when he had been younger and terrified of the large coasters. A weekend trip with his siblings and their father... It had ended wonderfully even if he had freaked out on the first ride.

Deciding Muika would enjoy this story while they waited, the line moving forward in short bursts, he spoke softly but loud enough for her to hear him over the masses.

"About... fifteen years ago, a young boy with purple hair and blue eyes waited in a similar line. He was just tall enough to ride, and his siblings had stuffed his shoes so he could have an extra buffer of height. As he stood here, he saw how big it was compared to him. He freaked out, slowly but surely as they moved up the line. Once they reached the ride, he had a full blown fit! The attendents wanted to let the boy off, but his sister refused. They weren't able to stare her down, as his brother strapped him into the seat and sat down next to him."

He paused for a second as they got up to the waiting area for riders, taking Muika to the middle section and giving her a dopey grin "After the first hill he lost his voice from screaming, which he had been the whole ride up the hill. So... I suppose you can't do worse than me, huh?"

She glanced over at Iyuki as he told his story, leading them down the line when it moved as he did so. Her expression remained the same throughout it, blinking every now and then but it was obvious she was listening.

As he led her to the middle section just as he was finishing up, flashing a grin as he ended his story to which she was quiet at for another second before turning her head away from him and bringing her free hand to cover her mouth; a puff of sorts escaping her, an escapee of a nearly suppressed laugh.

Iyuki had wondered if something was wrong... But as he saw her hand come up to cover her mouth, he realized... she was holding back laughter. His grin widened and he rubbed the back of his head as he looked away. It was too cute, he was going to burst if he kept staring.

"I take it you enjoyed my story? Ah, here we are. We'll take this seat. It shouldn't be as scary as the front seat... I am not my siblings, I'm much kinder than them." He didn't want to draw attention to her giggle, and make her self conscious about it. He'd rather she laugh more freely and safely. So as they stood in the waiting for the next two cars to go past, he tapped out a beat with his fingers on the metal.

"So you admit it was you in the story rather than some vague, unnamed, purple-haired, blue-eyed boy?" She questioned, not even realized she'd failed to stutter a word this time after Iyuki had brought up his siblings.

For now, she probably couldn't deal with the front, but since they weren't sitting in the front then it would likely be much easier to deal with.

"Oh? No. I would never admit it. There are so many such boys out there." Iyuki waved his hand off vaguely, his face utterly solemn and voice straight. He sighed. "I just happened to be there when it happened, watching the poor child silently cry in the seat. Tsk Tsk."

Internally his brain was freaking. Muika was teasing, she was playing! His Lady was letting him be playful with her! The butler inside of him was proud, it was his duty to help her out. Another part of him smiled too from inside.

"I guess I have no choice but to believe you then." She replied, not even realizing she had what could be seen as a small smirk on her expression; if she were to realize it she'd like have another mental freak out but thankfully she'd not. "I can only imagine how many tears were shed that day."

"Since I am the only witness here, it is only fair to take me at my word." He nodded, his voice still in that solemn and soft tone. Before his brain could do more internal flip flops over the more...playful Muika, a buzz sounded and the gates opened.

"Are you ready?" He moved foward, waving her ahead of him. He could help her once they were in the seats, both of them separate and with their own arm and chest locking in restraints for safety. He was glad he could have distracted her this long so she didn't have time to worry too much.
