Just For Practice [Open]

Moving up and down the woman's arm with the brush, she smiled softly as she removed all the scars. Miyako felt tired, but as she finished with another brush or two disappearing from the work, she decided it was worth it.

"Okay! Here, let me get those then." Kneeling, she began working on her ankles and then her legs. She wanted to fix as much as she could before she got too tired!

Aito remained quiet as Iyuki spoke, eventually moving to the kitchen to find the pamphlet he had.

He'd gotten some information from Aoi and such before, and had remember the more important parts of it...so he just...hadn't thought to grab one.


Muika...felt a bit bad about having Miyako do all of this, it was a lot...and she had no doubt that all of this, plus Aito's scars from earlier would no doubt leave her exhausted...

Things were healing...the scars disappearing from what she could see where she stood.

Iyuki finally found it with a large grin, holding it up for Hibiki to see before he flipped through it. Spiritual humans were rather close to the front and Iyuki had marked out the forms of not colors in the margins. out of the humans though... Only one thing was left. The Bounts were unmarked but it was impossible for someone so normal as that young woman to fit the description of one of those...

Hi-Spec human. His face paled, a frown coming over him as he realized something a bit distressing as he noted it in the margins with a pen for future reference. "...She is a hi-spec human. They... their powers are all they have. She does not have our Bringers light or anything like it. Nor will she be able to pull souls..."

The girl was utterly defenseless, her power seemingly only suited to healing. This was bad news... Iyuki looked quite worried now, his eyes glancing to the bedroom. "Should we warn her?"

Yawning slightly, Miyako finished up her legs and her power faded back to the bracelet as she grinned. "Tada! I finished, all gone now so you don't have to worry or feel bad. Its okay right? I did a...decent job at least?"

Miyako bit her lip and looked away, hoping that she could help with the secret past stuff and make her feel better.

A high-spec human?

Her powers were all she had...with a power like hers...this seemed like a bad deal. Get powers, yeah, but only healing ones while becoming a more obvious target for hollows...

Seemed like bullshit to him...

"Better to tell her so she's more cautious, I guess." It'd probably hurt to hear, but better know than not know...


Muika looked over herself some after Miyako had claimed she was finished. "Mm...mhmm...there aren't any anymore...you did good, th-thanks..."

There weren't any scars anymore, she was...happy to have them gone, especially the ones on her wrists and hands...

"T-Thanks..." She repeated.

"Yes. We should be on the look out for things as well, a watch on the area for her... I can set warning signals. Your powers haven't manifested yet, but you are not the attaching type so that makes some sense." Iyuki handed the pamphlet over, opened on the fullbringer page. "You need a special item to you to focus the power through, I see you have the power there but it is...still stuck I suppose."

"Pay attention to these things, Muika told me you had to run to her... With how much you two dislike each other, you would think you would learn a bit more about things than hurt your pride to ask her for help." Iyuki sighed and rubbed his head, his worry over the girl making him short with the other man but... This was serious.

"Welcome!" Miyako was grinning up a storm, standing up very very carefully as she was a bit dizzy. She had helped! Muika seemed happier! This was good, even with the slight weakness.

Her stomach growled loudly and she turned red. "Ahaha, can I stay for dinner? I feel bad, you weren't expecting me... I also brought some chocolate as a gift? Its in the entry way."

"Gh..." Aito glanced away, so...so he hadn't remembered specifics...whatever...

They'd keep watch out, and warning signals on her then, that would help at least, and she'd mentioned she was good at running so...she'd likely be able to outrun scrub hollows at least, which were the ones that typically came around...


"I'm sure it's fine, Iyuki would probably be s-sad if you just left without eating...especially after doing this. You should eat."

Maybe food would help as well, if using her powers like she had had made her tired. It might give her some extra energy at least...

Chocolate, Muika gave a small nod at that; "Thanks."

"Thank you for bringing her with you, I do not think even Muika might have paid her mind like you have though. You are kind even if you hide it well." Iyuki spoke softly, not looking at Aito as he moved to grab dinnerware for the food. Pulling down plates and dishes, he held out a stack of four plates and set bowls on top of it. "Can you set the table? With Muika getting healed it would help me out."

"Thank you! Having company for dinner is always better." Miyako grinned more, stretching a bit as she groaned. It felt like work doing that, she supposed that it was. Using those powers had to draw on some sort of energy, so her being tired and hungry probably meant that it just drew on her body.

She'd spent the past day or so thinking things over, and holding out her arms she tilted her head. "Lets go back now. I can help more! And welcome, I am hope you guys like it..."

"Ah..." Aito gave a nod, his hand moving to his hair for a moment at Iyuki's thanks; the nod answered both the thanks and his question as he stood and moved to set the table.

He'd wanted to deny that kind claim, but he had a feeling he'd never hear the end of it if he did.


"Welcome." Muika replied, waiting patiently on Miyako as the girl stretched; when she held out her arms Muika accepted her help so they could head to the table.

"Yeah. I'm sure it'll be good." She said in response to the chocolate that Miyako had brought.

With Hibiki or Aito, whichever to be called now, setting the table, Iyuki moved to place the food in easy to move dishes. The rice cooker was moved to the table, along with the sides and main dish once those were ready. Then he moved the rest of the food, before taking a seat. He hoped they would be done soon... "Oh, Hibiki. Do you like sweets? Muika came back from the Soul Society with a few bags of homemade candies. It seems a shinigami there made them and sent them with her?"

Iyuki pointed to the counter where a few large bags of different candies sat. "I do not think we can finish them all. There is butterscotch rock candy, kompeito, chocolates..."

"Okay then!" Miyako led Muika from the room and out to find dinner had already been set up. She grinned as her stomach growling, noting the place set for her and she gave Iyuki a smile as she helped Muika to a seat.

"Ah thank you Iyuki! We're all done for now, though I've got everyone's promises to not hide things you want done anymore right? I mean... I should practice using it right? So..." Miyako's face fell a bit as she took a seat, after looking at Hibiki, Iyuki and Muika. Would they promise?

Aito stopped for a moment, having set the last plate down as Iyuki spoke up again, listening to what he had to say about...sweets?

"...Kompeito." He said before returning to his business that was setting the table as if he'd said nothing at all.

Just as Muika had assumed, there was already a spot for Miyako set out; that was good...

She gave a small, relieved sigh as she sat down in her spot, glad to be...well, not walking at the moment; even with help that worry about bumping into something was there...or tripping...so she weas glad to have avoided the worry for now.

As Miyako spoke up, both Muika and Aito looked towards her; "Ah..." Aito gave a small nod as he moved to sit down just as Muika gave another small nod of her own.

"Mm. Promise..." She was all healed for the most part...Miyako had already gotten rid of the scars that had actually lasted on her skin.

Sweets. It seemed both Viper Survivors were sweet toothed. Iyuki had thought so, but now he had confirmation. Nodding towards the bag, he waved his hand. "Then take the Kompeito bag when you go. We have enough other things here that we do not need it."

That Hibiki had outright wanted it and had feigned nonchalance told the man all he needed to know. Hibiki could have the whole bag of it.

Smiling at the women came out, he nodded at Miyako. "Welcome, it is the least I can do. Please help yourself to whatever you wish."

Muika seemed to have a weight lifted off of her, just a bit, and it made Iyuki smile softly at her. "Of course I promise. I have a few scars, but I like them as they make me look dashing and are not...awful ones. If I do find something, I shall inform you though. Now, lets eat."

Miyako grinned at all three of them, happy with their promises. Hibiki, Muika and Iyuki would all keep them she hoped!

Given permission to eat, the starving woman dug right in. Soo...hungry...so much energy....expended... She was abnormally pale from all of her exertions but as she began eating the color started to come back to her.

D...Dashing?

Muika had had to think, but...she made no response to that; if that's what Iyuki thought, then that's what he thought...

Aito had started eating as soon as the okay was given, giving a glance over to Miyako; she was really chowing down, though he guessed using her abilities had drained her.

Muika had moved to take a drink first, taking a small sip before carefully setting the glass back down.

Everyone seemed to enjoy eating so Iyuki gave them all a smile and began as well. Miyako's color seemed to improve, he had noticed and worried a bit but with the food intake... She had just recently gotten her powers, they probably drained her something fierce and they had requested more than a bit of usage.

Iyuki would have to personally thank her later and make sure she made it back safely... Aito seemed to be looking out for her at least. Maybe a request for him to make sure she made it home?

Hm...

Miyako caught Hibiki's look and tilted her head in confusion. Was she eating too fast? But it was delicious and she was starving... Deciding it was nothing, she went back to eating. She needed the energy to try and fight this insistent drowsiness...

Muika ate as quietly as always, in small bites; it was good, though Iyuki's cooking was always delicious.

Aito hadn't noticed Miyako's look, having looked away so he could continue eating his own meal. It was his favorite, so his attention was mostly on enjoying it at the moment.

Everyone seemed quiet, and though Iyuki had so many questions burning inside him just waiting to ask, he could not. There was a tint to Miyako's skin he did not like and felt interrupting her dinner would be in bad taste. Aito was focused on his food and Muika didn't want to mess up, that much was obvious...

So Iyuki kept quiet as he finished his dinner. Without talking it was quickly done for him at least and he stood from the table... "...I think you should leave once you are finished eating Otouto. Please take Miyako with you and escort her home. I do not like the look of her."

He moved to the kitchen, having already prepared the extra he always made for Hibiki to take home. Settling it in a bag, he moved to put the kompeito in as well. The girl couldn't stay here overnight so it would be best to get her back soon.

Miyako's ability to inhale all food around her was rather legendary among the people who ate with her at meal times so she too was done rather quickly. Blinking away her sleepy eyes, she shook her head at Iyuki as she tilted slightly in her chair.

"I'll be fine! Otouto doesn't need...need to help me home. I just over did things a bit. I should really practice more before...trying that again huh?" She giggled and smiled, reaching up to play with a pigtail.

Hn? Leave when he was done? He'd planned on that...The only reason he ever stayed longer was because he was kept there...

Escort Miyako back though? Well...he could escort her to the dorm at least...from what she said men weren't allowed.

Still, he gave a nod as he moved to take his last few bites. Even with Miyako's response, it was obvious she was tired...

Wait did she just call him...Why?

Muika was being a bit slower than usual due to concentration, but it wasn't like she ate too much anyway; her stomach was stronger, yes, so she did eat more, but it was a gradual increase over time...

She felt a bit bad about having Miyako use that much of her power...even if the girl had said she'd wanted to, she'd obviously overdone things...

Iyuki just shook his head and sighed at Miyako's words. Taking the bag by the door, he tried not to smile as he picked up the forgotten chocolate and took it back to the kitchen. It was a nice gift of her to bring and he would try some with Muika later. "Make sure you stop by sometimes Miyako, we are normally here in the evenings... Though please knock. Otouto... has a bad habit and could end up in trouble one of these times."

He coughed and looked away, hoping his point was made. It would be bad for such a young woman to see things...

Moving to her chair though, he bent down and wrapped his arms around her in a slight hug. "Thank you for all you have done. I am in your debt..."

He stood back up and smiled softly, patting her head a few times before moving away again to start cleaning up. Always moving...

Muika was concentrating to much, the young woman smiled and watched her friend while blinking away sleep. Tired, she was so...tired. How had she held out this long? It was impossible...

Miyako grinned and nodded, taking no offense at Iyuki's words while she swayed a bit in her seat. Her hug though was so kind that she just giggled, leaning back against it as well as the head pats. "Welcome.... No debt at.... all, we are.... friends right......?"

Words slightly slurred, the young woman wondered why it was getting so dark all of a sudden. It was just her eyelids though, refusing to listen... Reaching both hands up, she slapped her cheeks a few times. No! Awake! You had to walk back... Her eyes drooped though, her head slowly making its way to the table as if drawn by a magnet.
